Abstract

Penanaman nilai-nilai luhur pendidikan karakter akan efektif jika ada konsistensi antara nilai-nilai yang ditanamkan pada masa usia dini, Sekolah Dasar, Sekolah Menengah, sampai dengan Perguruan Tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (melalui eksplorasi), nilai-nilai karakter yang dipahami guru dan upaya untuk menanmkannya kepada siswa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah guru Sekolah Dasar negeri dan swasta yayasan agama di wilayah Gunungpati Semarang. Pengambilan data dilakukan melalui dua tahap, yaitu melaui focused group discussion (FGD) kemudian dilanjutkan dengan wawancara mendalam. Hasilnya adalah, nilai-nilai karakter yang dipahami oleh subjek mencakup kesesuaian dengan visi misi sekolah (membentuk pribadi yang cerdas dan beriman), pentingnya menggunakan bahasa lokal (Jawa) untuk menanamkan nilai-nilai menghargai (yang lebih muda dan setara) dan menghormati (yang lebih tua), pentingnya menanamkan nilai kejujuran (ada beberapa temuan tentang ketidakjujuran), nilai kepedulian terhadap sesama, dan untuk menanamkan nilai-nilai tersebut diperlukan contoh konkret (teladan) dari guru, dan secara makro perlu kontrol (hierarkis) dari dinas pendidikanThe values of character education will be effective if there is consistency between the values instilled in early childhood, primary school, high school, to the university. This study aims to determine the values of the characters that are understood by teachers to students. This type of research is qualitative with phenomenological approach. The subjects were elementary school teachers of public and private school Gunungpati Semarang. Data were collected through two stages, first collected by focused group discussion (FGD), then by in depth interviews.The result are,the values of characters must be connected with the vision and mission of the school (forming personal intelligent and faithful),the importance of using local languages (Java) to instill the values of respect,the importance of instilling the values of honesty (there are several findings of dishonesty), the value of caring for others,and to instill the values of the required concrete examples (example)of the teachers, and all of them need to control by department of education.

Abstract

Abstrak. Semua anak berisiko mengalami Kekerasan Seksual Anak (KSA).Pencegahan berbasis sekolah yang melibatkan guru sekolah dasar merupakan salah satu upaya strategis dalam mencegah KSA.Namun, guru sekolah dasar negeri di Kota Yogyakarta mengalami kesulitan untuk menjadi agen pencegahan KSA karena keterbatasan pengetahuan dan merasa kurang yakin akan kemampuannya mengajarkan pencegahan KSA. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan efikasi mengajar pencegahan KSA pada guru sekolah dasar negeri melalui Program “Jari Peri” (Guru Ajari Perlindungan Diri).Metode yang digunakan adalah Metode Kuantitatif dengan The Untreated Control Group Design with Pretest and Posttest.Subjek penelitian adalah 18 guru sekolah dasar negeri, 9 guru sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan 9 lainnya sebagai kelompok kontrol. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah tes pengetahuan program “Jari Peri” dan skala efikasi mengajarkan pencegahan KSA. Analisis data menggunakan disain Anava Mix.Hipotesis penelitian ini adalah program “Jari Peri” dapat meningkatkan efikasimengajar pencegahan KSA pada guru sekolah dasar negeri. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa program “Jari Peri” efektif meningkatkan efikasi mengajar pencegahan KSA pada guru sekolah dasar negeri dengan p<0,05. Efikasi mengajar pencegahan KSA kelompok eksperimen p<0,05 lebih tinggi daripada kelompok kontrol p>0,05.Abstract. Every child is prone to Child Sexual Abuse (CSA). The school-based prevention involving elementary school teachers is one of the strategic efforts to prevent CSA. However, teachers of public elementary school in the City of Yogyakarta found it difficult to be the agents of CSA prevention due to their insufficiency in terms of knowledge and confidence to teach CSA prevention. This study was aimed at improving efficacy in teaching child sexual abuse prevention for teachers of public elementary school through “Jari Peri” (Guru Ajari Perlindungan Diri – Self Protection Instructed by Teachers) program. The method used was a Quantitative Method using Untreated Control Group Design with Pretest and Posttest. The subjects were 18 teachers of public elementary school; 9 of them in experiment group and 9 others in the control group. The instrument used in this study was the test on the knowledge about “Jari Peri” and efficacy scales in CSA teaching. The researcher used Anava Mix design to analyse the data. The hypothesis of this study was that the “Jari Peri” program can improve the efficacy in teaching the prevention of CSA for teachers of public elementary school. The results showed that “Jari Peri” program was effective in improving the teaching efficacy on the prevention of CSA for teachers of public elementary school p<0,05. The efficacy in teaching of CSA in the experiment group p<0,05 was higher than the one in the control group p>0,05.

Abstract

Abstrak. Prosocial behavior adalah perilaku membantu atau mementingkan orang lain, terkadang tidak memberikan keuntungan bagi yang melakukan. Ada beberapa faktor yang mempengaruhi perilaku ini, salah satunya adalah emosi negatif. Persoalan sosial yang sarat nuansa psikologis, dan emosi yang negatif adalah iri (envy) dan social undermining. Beberapa ahli berbeda pendapat mengenai keterkaitan emosi negatif dan perilaku prososial. Di sisi lain, ada pula beberapa perbedaan pendapat mengenai keterkaitan iri dengan konsekuensi berperilaku positif (seperti prososial) serta perilaku negatif (seperti social undermining). Realitanya, dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, keterkaitan ketiga variabel tersebut pun berbeda-beda. Beberapa perbedaan konsekuensi berperilaku baik secara teori maupun praktek, menimbulkan pertanyaan bagaimanakah interrelasi antara iri, social undermining, dan prosocial behavior? Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh iri (envy) terhadap prosocial behavior, pengaruh social undermining terhadap prosocial behavior, dan pengaruh iri terhadap social undermining. Penelitian ini menggunakan me tode penelitian kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Universitas Negeri Semarang tahun ajaran 2014/2015 semester genap, sampel diambil menggunakan metode cluster sampling with probability. Hasil uji hipotesis iri berpengaruh terhadap prosocial behavior yaitu pengaruh F 42.035 dengan signifikansi 0.000 sebesar 11.4%. Hasil uji hipotesis social undermining berpengaruh terhadap prosocial behavior yaitu pengaruh F 263.360 dengan signifikansi 0.000 sebesar 44.7%. Hasil uji hipotesis iri berpengaruh terhadap social undermining yaitu pengaruh F 36.692 dengan signifikansi 0.00 sebesar 10.1%.Abstract. Prosocial behavior is helping or considering to other behavior, sometimes not give profit to someone who do it. There are some factor which can influence this behavior, one of them is negative emotion. The social problem which full psychologys nuance and negative emotion is envy and social undermining. Some researcher have different opinion about the relationship between negative emotion and prosocial behavior. In the other side, there is some different opinion about the relationship between envy and positive outcome (like prosocial behavior), and also negative outcome (like social undermining). In fact, in daily activity, the relationship among these variable also different. Some different behavior consequences both theory and practice, makes a question how are interrelation among envy, social undermining, and prosocial behavior?The aim of this study is to know the effect of envy to prosocial behavior, the effect of social undermining to prosocial behavior, and the effect of envy to social undermining. This study using quantitative method. The population of this study is State University of Semarang students years 2014/2015 even semester. This study using cluster sampling with probability method. The result of hypothesis test of envy influential to prosocial behavior is the effect F 42.035 with significancy 0.000 as big as 11.4%. The result of hypothesis test of social undermining influential to prosocial behavior is the effect F 263.360 with significancy 0.000 as big as 44.7%. The result of hypothesis test of envy influential to social undermining is the effect F 36.692 with significancy 0.000 as big as 10.1%..

Abstract

Background of this research was kindergarten teacher which in PBM (Learning Process Teachs) applies autoritary discipline though ought to a kindergarten teacher becomes fasilitator and having responsibility to create situation that can grow initiative, motivation and participant responsibility educates to learn. This research applies descriptive method Population in this rematch me kindergarten  students of PGRI 65, with subjects 40. Sampling technique applies technics of population study. Variable in this research is socialization kindergarten student. Data collecting method by using Observation check list socialization of kindergarten .students. With three observers; Based on result of inferential research that applying of autoritary discipline Iearned haves an in with sociaIization children of because children will become more agresive. Based on result of this research suggested to learn kindergarten sudent teaching not to apply applying of autoritary discipline and teacher earns more patiently in facing behavior of kindergarten students.

Abstract

Striving for superiority adalah suatu bentuk usaha yang digunakan untuk mengatasi perasaan rendah diri pada diri seseorang yang selanjutnya akan menghasilkan perasaan aman dan nyaman tanpa kekhawatiran dan kecemasan. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui konsep striving for superiority pada siswa yang tidak lulus ujian dan faktor-faktor apa saja yang mempengaruhi striving for superiority tersebut. Penelitian ini bersifat kualitatif dengan pendekatan eksploratif maka analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis data induktif deskriptif. Adapau metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah wawancara langsung. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa striving for superiority yang dilakukan oleh siswa yang tidak lulus ujian nasional lebih mengarah kepada strategi koping. Adapun strategi koping yang dilakukan oleh siswa yang tidak lulus ujian nasional tersebut dapat dibagi menjadi 2 jenis, yaitu:  emotion focused copying dan problem focused copying. Ada 2 (dua) faktor yang mempengaruhi strategi koping ini, yaitu; 1) faktor internal; keinginan dari dalam diri sendiri, 2) faktor eksternal; dorongan yang didapatkan dari lingkungan sekitar subjek; teman, guru, orang tua dan masyarakat yang ada disekitar subjek.Striving for superiority is an effort to cope with someone’s low self-reliance. This effort will then deliver safe and pleasant feeling for the person without feeling anxious and worry. This research is aimed to analyze striving for superiority concept of the students who didn’t pass the National Examination and also to find the factors affecting the concept.  This is a qualitative research using explorative approach, so, inductive descriptive analysis is applied for analyzing the data. Meanwhile, the method applied in this research is direct interview. The interview conducted by the researcher found that striving for superiority done by the student who didn’t pass the National Examination tended to use copying strategy. Furthermore, there are two kinds of copying strategy used by the student who didn’t pass the National Examination:  emotion focused copying and problem focused copying. The researcher then found that there are two factors affecting the strategy: 1) internal factor; self desire and 2) external factor; motivation from the environment; friends, teacher, parent, and society.

Abstract

This research is aimed to know the factors which cause smoking behavior on student of Roudlotul Falah Moslem school, and how their smoking behavior: Subject of this research are six students of Roudlotul Falah Moslem School who smoke. Results from interview, observation, documentation, and graphic test (DAM and HTP). The results show the factors which cause smoking behavior of the students are psychological factors (one of way to be consider free and adult person among their friends who smoke, pass the free time, happiness, conformity, and considered manly, less confidence, and also education about disadvantages of smoking for health), environment factors (parental, siblings, peer group), cigarette advertisement, artist of cigarette advertisement, Moslem school regulation factor and society factor. In addition the result also shows that three is a cognitive dissonance in student who smokes. Three is inappropriate between cognition “I 'm a smoker" with cognition that smoking is makruh and it isn’t good for health.

Abstract

Abstract. Lately appeared the issue of same-sex marriage in the Indonesian media that is triggered by the issue of foreign funds to support the existence of gays in Indonesia. Many parties issued their public statement in respond to the issue, including professional organizations in the field of psychiatry and psychology. This paper is going to discuss the issue of same-sex marriage through a review on the legal and socio-cultural aspects of homosexual existence and gay marriage in Indonesian context. The implications of gay marriage to the functioning of family will also be discussed.

Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi bahwa jumlah turnover karyawan pada tahun 2011-2015 mengalami siklus turnover yang cukup tinggi pada staf karyawan, peneliti berasumsi karyawan PT. SAI Apparel Industries Semarang memiliki komitmen organisasi rendah. Faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi komitmen organisasi adalah karakteristik kerja dan karakteristik organisasi yaitu terkait keadilan organisasi. Keadilan yang dimaksudkan adalah keadilan prosedural dan keadilan distributif yang disebutkan bahwa keadilan tersebut kurang dirasakan oleh karyawan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh keadilan prosedural dan keadilan distributif terhadap komitmen organisasi di PT. SAI Apparel Industries Semarang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif korelasional dengan melibatkan sampel sebanyak 128 staf karyawan di PT. SAI Apparel Industries Semarang. Probability sampling dipilih untuk menentukan sampel. Pengambilan data penelitian ini menggunakan tiga skala yaitu komitmen organisasi dengan koefisien validitas antara 0,308-0,690 dan koefisien reliabilitas sebesar 0,860, keadilan prosedural memiliki keofisien validitas antara 0,223-0,728 dan koefisien reliabilitas sebesar 0,808, dan keadilan distributif memiliki koefisien validitas antara 0,309-0,699 dan koefisien reliabilitas sebesar 0,763. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis regresi berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan komitmen organisasi, keadilan prosedural, dan keadilan distributif berada pada kriteria sedang. Hasil lain adalah ada pengaruh positif keadilan prosedural terhadap komitmen organisasi (nilai T = 7,312, p = 0,000), tidak ada pengaruh keadilan distributif terhadap komitmen organisasi (nilai T = 0,522, p = 0,603), dan ada pengaruh positif keadilan prosedural dan keadilan distributif terhadap komitmen organisasi (nilai F = 51,755 dengan p = 0,000).Abstract. This research is motivated that employee turnover rateis quite high from 2011-2015 the researcher assumes that the staff and employees of PT. SAI Apparel Industries Semarang have a low organizational commitment. Factors affecting organizational commitment are work characteristics and organizational characteristics, i.e. organizational justice. Justice means that procedural justice and distributive justice are not perceived by employees. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there is influence of procedural justice and distributive justice on organizational commitment in PT. SAI Apparel Industries Semarang. This was a quantitative correlational study involving 128 staff and employees of PT. SAI Apparel Industries Semarang as the sample. Probability sampling was chosen to determine the sample. Data collection method used three scales, i.e. organizational commitment with validity coefficient of 0.308-0.690 and reliability coefficient of 0.860, procedural justice with validity coefficient of 0.223 - 0.728 and reliability coefficient of 0.808, and distributive justice with validity coefficient of 0.309 - 0.699 and reliability coefficient of 0.763. Data were analyzed using multiple regression analysis technique. The results showed that organizational commitment, procedural justice, and distributive justice were in the medium criteria. Then, the other results showed that there was a positive effect of procedural justice on organizational commitment (T = 7.312, p = 0.000), there was no effect of distributive justice on organizational commitment (T = 0.522, p = 0.603), and there was a positive effect of procedural justice and distributive justice on organizational commitment (F = 51.755, p = 0.000).

Abstract

Abstrak.Wanita pekerja mempunyai peran dan tanggung jawab di dalam pekerjaannya serta di kehidupan pribadinya.Wanita rentan mengalami konflik peran, sehingga menjaga keseimbangan antara kehidupan dan pekerjaan (work-life balance) menjadi prioritas bagi wanita pekerja. Diduga, keseimbangan dapat tercapai ketika individu mendapat dukungan dari atasan yang dapat diwujudkan dengan gaya kepemimpinannya yang pro terhadap bawahan, yaitu relation-oriented leadership behavior. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: menguji ada tidaknya pengaruh tingkat relation-oriented leadership behaviorterhadap work-life balance. Subjek penelitian ini adalah karyawati Bank X di Semarang. Sampel yang diambil berjumlah 60 orang dengan menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh. Alat ukur sekaligus pengumpul data yang digunakan adalah 2 skala psikologi, yaitu: skala relation-oriented leadership behavior (30 aitem) dan skala work-life balance (35 aitem).Hasil pengolahan data menunjukkan Nilai F regresi sebesar  2861,980 dengan signifikansi 0,000 (p < 00).Hipotesis penelitian: “Ada pengaruh relation-oriented leadership behavior terhadap work-life balance pada wanita pekerja” diterima.Sumbangan relation-oriented leadership behavior terhadap work-life balance adalah sebesar  98,1 % dan sisanya 1,9 % dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain.Abstract. This research is motivated phenomenon increase in the number of women who work. Women workers have a role and responsibility in his work and in his personal life. Women prone to conflicts of roles, so that the balance between life and work (work-life balance) is a priority for women workers balance can be achieved with the support of the boss that can be realized with pro-style leadership to subordinates, namely relations-oriented leadership behaviors. The subjects were female employee at a regional office of Bank X in Semarang. Samples were taken of 60 people using saturated sampling technique. Measuring tool used is the psychological scale. Collecting data in this study using a scale relations-oriented leadership behaviors (item 30) with reliability coefficient of 0.756 and the scale of work-life balance (item 35) with a reliability coefficient of 0.855. Value 2861.980 with a regression coefficient of 0.000 at the significance level of 5% siginifikansi. Donations relations-oriented leadership behaviors toward work-life balance amounted to 98.1% and the remaining 1.9% is influenced by other factors. So the research hypothesis "there is the influence of relations-oriented leadership behaviors toward work-life balance for women workers" acceptable.

Awareness to optimalization the skill of student, especiallv about right of student to get good services which they have high capability and intelligent, has been formed acceleration program. This research will investigate and be focus to the problem of identification, the factor that cause appearance many problem in student of acceleration class d SD Hj Isriati Semarang, included how that solution. The characteristic of this research is exploration with case study approach Result of this research showed many problems appear in the beginning of class, especiallv socio emotional problem, like variation's emotional mature, emotional over excitabilities, more quite, dependent, difficuIt to make the decision less responsibility and less independently, always egoist and perfectionist. In the end of class appear academic problem like underachiever at Class VI. The other hand student of acceleration class have a positive character like more active, courageous and critical student, easy for acceptance the advice, high discipline, awareness and never doing the serious violation. The reason of socio emotional problem : young age people, over protective parents, over services, the parent wants to know all about their child business, determining the high standard score for their child. If there was seen stress indication or bad behavior, as soon as possible to get consultation to the teacher or psychologist. For school and teacher have to monitoring the achievement development student of acceleration class and to created good teaching to increase the task commitment of student, so that can get the wonderful academic achievement.
