Abstract

Macro study is one approach that combines the rational method based on the results of previous studies by the authority with the empirical method utilizing the survey techniques. The purpose of this macro study is to identify and analyze the potentials, problems, and the limiting factors, and the needs of the regency; and to recommend the programs and models required by the community to achieve the sustainable development. This research uses the Participatory Rural Appraisal method, the  interview techniques (Semi Structured Interview), the technique of focused group discussion (FGD), the Rapid District Appraisal (RDA), then it is analyzed by the empirical and dynamical systems. The overview of macro studies is particularly relevant in developing the regions, especially the rural areas, based on the existing advantages, such as in Tabanan Regency. Tabanan Regency is a granary in Bali Province and the zoning of agricultural commodities in quadrant III,which is the rural farming area with combined functions between the cultivated and rural areas supported by the tourism department. The studies of the areas in the form of potential analysis, problem analysis, requirement analysis become the guidelines for preparing the development scenarios and program formats. The studies will then constitute the factors driving the realization of sustainable development of tourism villages in supporting the sustainable agriculture.

Abstract

Tingginya minat konsumsi masyarakat menyebabkan pedagang kaki lima menjadi semakin banyak, terutama masyarakat kelas bawah. Street vendors usually have bad impression because they are dirty and disorderly. It is because they are disorganized and they often occupy public places. The high interest of consumers, especially from the lower class has made more and more street vendors. By issuing Perda of 2000 No. 11, the local government of Semarang has tried to organize them. However, it is not a comprehensive solution to overcome the problems of street vendors. The population of this study is 173 street vendors in Perumnas Tlogosari Semarang. The samples are 100 people who are mostly from outside of Tlogosari. The model of street vendors in PerumTlogosari is Linear Concentration. The results show that before organizing the street vendors, there isn’t any association for them, but now they have an association which is called Paguyuban Pedagang dan Jasa (PPJ). The social impacts of having PPJ are the street vendors have routine social gathering, as well as other regulations that can minimize conflicts that can arise between them. From the economics point of view, most of them can increase their incomes per month. Therefore, to maintain the sustainability of the positive effects that arise, the street vendors should maintain and implement rules that have been agreed, as well as having innovations for the goods they sell so that they have sustainable profit

Abstract

The area of Perumahan Griya Sekar gading, Puri Sartika, Permata Savira, Trangkil Sejahtera, and Bukit Sukorejo Gunungpati located near State University of Semarang is the development area for housing. Empirical evidence suggests that the location of the house became one of the factors that affect consumers in choosing housing. Location to be the third strongest factor for most consumers still have an opinion, as long as it's location can be reached by motor vehicle and driving is not a problem but with home prices are cheap. It can be taken into consideration by the developers of residential areas to have a policy in determining house prices in the future. Regression analysis is used in this study.

Abstract

Onion prices are fluctuating in Central Java, causing profits onion farmers uncertain. So that when the price drops causing the farmers had a loss and decrease cultivating intensity in the next season. The data in this study using quantitative data using OLS (Ordinary Least Square) with the classical assumption: multicoloniarity, autocorrelation, heteroscedasticity, and test for normality. The test equipment are using F-test, t test, and R2. From the test results of significance (F test) showed that the independent variables simultaneously significant effect on dependent variable with the calculated F value of 7.594314 and 0.007849 probability <0.05. The results of the partial model test (t test) showed that the price of onion variables significantly influencing the production of onion variables with probability 0.0078 <α (0.05) and had a negative impact, with coefficient of -3,148.617. Coefficient of determination on this results is 0.117569. it could be explained that onion production is influenced by variables onion prices by 11.76% while the remaining 88.24% influenced by other variables outside the model. Recomendate : The government needs to control the price that farmers do not lose money when prices fall and can continue cultivating in the next period. So that the onion production is relatively stable.
