Abstract

During this time the cooperative performance measurement is done by conventional financial terms based on financial statements, profitability, liquidity and solvency (RLS) as well as the implementation of the budget. This study aims to determine the performance and feasibility of KSP / USP- Cooperative as a recipient of a revolving fund P3KUM and want to know the impact of the implementation of the cooperative program P3KUM dealer. The aspect that is evaluated in terms of organizations and institutions that include; (1) The vision and mission, (2) Legality of business entities, (3) The cooperative structure, (4) Management organization (5) Human Resources Development (HRD), (6) Finance, (7) Infrastructures. The method used is the Cooperative Capacity Assessment (CCA). Respondents in this study is a cooperative that had received funds P3KUM, already incorporated and has implemented the Annual Member Meeting in 2010 and has a complete cooperative (management and members of the cooperative). From the results of this study concluded that of the 25 cooperative respondents, 20% co-operatives have a good performance appraisal at all and 80% are good .. The better the performance of which is owned by a cooperative, the more worthy of him as a funding channel P3KUM program. Feasibility is very important to ensure the success of the program P3KUM. However, the necessary guidance and supervision of the relevant authorities, so that the existence of the program run effectively and efficiently.Selama ini pengukuran kinerja koperasi dilakukan dengan cara konvensional yaitu dari segi keuangan berdasarkan laporan keuangan, rentabilitas, likuiditas dan solvabilitas (RLS) serta pelaksanaan anggaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kinerja dan kelayakan usaha KSP/ USP- Koperasi sebagai penerima dana bergulir P3KUM dan ingin mengetahui dampak pelaksanaan program P3KUM terhadap koperasi penyalur. Adapun aspek yang dievaluasi adalah dari sisi organisasi dan kelembagaan yang meliputi; (1) Visi dan misi, (2) Legalitas badan usaha, (3) Struktur koperasi, (4) Manajemen organisasi (5) Pengembangan Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM), (6) Keuangan, (7) Sarana dan Prasarana. Metode yang digunakan adalah Cooperative Capacity Assessment (CCA). Responden dalam penelitian ini adalah koperasi yang pernah menerima dana P3KUM, sudah berbadan hukum dan sudah melaksanakan Rapat Anggota Tahunan pada tahun 2010 serta memiliki kelengkapan koperasi (pengurus dan anggota koperasi). Dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa dari 25 koperasi yang menjadi responden, 20% koperasi memiliki penilaian kinerja yang baik sekali dan 80% lainnya baik.. Semakin baik kinerja yang dimiliki oleh sebuah koperasi, maka akan semakin layak dia sebagai penyalur dana progam P3KUM. Kelayakan usaha ini sangat penting untuk menjamin keberhasilan dari program P3KUM. Meski demikian, diperlukan pembinaan dan pengawasan dari aparat terkait, supaya keberadaan program berjalan efektif dan efisien.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to estimate the amount of labor needs and productivity in Banten Province from 2016 until 2020. By estimating the needs and productivity of the labor, the government can use this information to create the appropriate policies in order to reduce the open unemployment rate (OUR) in Banten Province. According to BPS data in 2014, OUR of Banten Province was the highest among other provinces in Java and second highest in Indonesia after Maluku. This study used the quantitative method, which are the exponential and geometric methods to project the labor needs. Other than that, this study used the descriptive method to interpret the quantitative data. The result showed that (1) from 2016 until 2020 there will be an increasing condition of employment, (2) from 2010 until 2014, the highest labor productivity were from electricity, gas and water sector. However from 2016 – 2020, the highest labor productivity will be from financing, insurance, real estate, land, and business services. (3) The number of OUR is expected to decrease annually. Meanwhile OUR in 2016 which is 7.39 percent will decrease to 3.94 percent in 2020.

Abstract

Perhatian ekonom terhadap masalah ketimpangan sangatlah kurang. Kondisi ini juga dilakukan oleh lembaga dunia (Bank Dunia dan UNDP) terutama di bidang kemiskinan, serta pemerintah kita. Dampak kebijakan yang bias antara kemiskinan dan penanggulangan ketimpangan sosial dapat dilihat dari data. Di Indonesia, khususnya Jawa Tengah, selama periode 2002-2011, pertumbuhan ekonomi di Jawa Tengah meningkat disertai dengan pengurangan kemiskinan. Namun ketimpangannya meningkat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis determinan pendapatan yang timpang di Jawa Tengah dari tahun 2002 sampai dengan 2011. Panel metode Data regerssion digunakan untuk mencapai tujuan penelitian ini. Ada 35 data cross section yang mewakili setiap kabupaten dan data seri selama 10 tahun Uji F dan uji Hausman menunjukkan bahwa model efek random terbatas adalah yang terbaik untuk analisis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hanya ada dua variabel yang signifikan yang menyebabkan ketimpangan (share of economic output received by employers wages). Sementara itu, dua variabel lain tidak signifikan (urbanization and dependency ratio).The attention of economist to the problem of inequality is weak. This condition is followed by the world institution (World Bank and UNDP) which concerns in the areas of poverty, as well as our government. The impact of biased policy between poverty and inequality reduction can be seen from the data. In Indonesia, especially Central Java, during the period of 2002 to 2011, economic growth in Central Java increased accompanied by poverty reduction. However inequality increasedThe purpose of the study is to analyze the determinant of inequality income in Central Java from 2002 up to 2011. Panel data regerssion method is used to achieve the objectives of this study. There are 35 cross section data represent every regency and 10-years data series. F test and Hausman test indicate that restricted random effect models are best for analysis. The result shows that there are only two significant variables that determine inequality (share of economic output received by employers wages). Meanwhile, the other two variables are not significant (urbanization and dependency ratio).

Abstract

In the era of globalized demands readiness state or area to be able to compete. This study dug condition flagship cluster in Central Java that is industrial metal casting in Klaten Regency. Methods of analysis using qualitative and quantitative analysis (R/C Ratio; Analytical Hierarcy Process). Using primary data as well as secondary data collected from selected samples or related institutions. Those results found: (1) the actors cast metal Small medium enterprises (SME) efforts largely have joined in a group/cluster (2). Based on the analysis of the feasibility of the effort, all the effort in the area of the cluster of decent run because it has a value of R/C ratio is more than 1 (one) (3). Industrial cluster development priority scale cast metal are: marketing, production aspects, aspects of the infrastructure, institutional aspects, and managerial aspects.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the role of PNPM Mandiri in the economic and social aspects in an attempt social mobility for the poor, and describes the driving and inhibiting social mobility PNPM efforts for the poor. This study used a qualitative approach. The research was conducted in the Village Mangunsari, District Gunungpati, Semarang. In PNPM program, the activities fostered the activities of Tridaya (Engineering / Environmental, Social and Economic). Guidance for each village conducted at BKM respective wards. From the research, it can be concluded that: (1) PNPM program is effective enough to mobilize poverty in the city of Semarang with Tridaya’s program. (2) Increasing public welfare with the PNPM program. And (3) However, the PNPM has not been able to make people aware not to consider themselves poor. Advice: Need for a more intensive coaching to the public the awareness to not call them poor, and this program would be very good if implemented continually.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peranan PNPM Mandiri pada aspek ekonomi dan aspek sosial dalam upaya mobilitas sosial bagi masyarakat miskin; dan mendeskripsikan pendorong dan penghambat PNPM dalam usaha mobilitas sosial bagi masyarakat miskin. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan di wilayah Kelurahan Mangunsari, Kecamatan Gunungpati, Kota Semarang. Pada program PNPM ini, kegiatan yang dibina pada kegiatan Tri daya (Teknik / Lingkungan, Sosial dan Ekonomi). Pembinaan untuk masing-masing kelurahan dilakukan pada BKM masing-masing kelurahan. Dari hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa : (1) Program PNPM cukup efektif untuk memobilisasi kemiskinan di Kota Semarang dengan program Tri dayanya. (2) Kesejahte­raan masyarakat semakin meningkat dengan adanya program PNPM. Dan (3) Namun demikian, adanya PNPM belum bias menyadarkan masyarakat untuk tidak menganggap dirinya miskin. Saran: Perlu adanya pembinaan yang lebih intensif kepada masyarakat akan kesadaran untuk tidak menyebut dirinya miskin, dan program ini akan sangat bagus jika dilaksanakan secara berlanjut.

Abstract

          Penilitan ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui karakteristik Kota Yogyakarta dan mengetahui kecamatan – kecamatan sebagai pusat pertumbuhan melalui kelengkapan fasilitas yang tersedia yang disesuaikan dengan pusat pertumbuhan kota yang terdapat dalam Rencana Tata Ruang Wilayah (RTRW) Kota Yogyakarta. Penelitian menggunakan populasi kecamatan di Kota Yogyakarta. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan metode dokumentasi. Analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis skalogram. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Kecamatan Umbulharjo dan Kecamatan Gondokusuman memiliki tingkat orde yang paling tinggi. Kecamatan yang telah diproyeksikan sebagai pusat kota dalam RTRW Kota Yogyakarta tahun 2010 ternyata belum sesuai dengan hasil analisis skalogram.The goal of this research are to determine the characteristics of the city of Yogyakarta and find out thesub-districts as centers of growth through complete facilities available that are tailored to urban growth centers contained in the Spatial Plan (RTRW) of Yogyakarta. The population of this research is sub-districts in the Yogyakarta City. The method of accumulating data used are documentation. The analysis used are scalogram analysis. Based on the results of the research showed that the Umbulharjo and Gondokusuman have the highest level of order. The Sub-district that has been projected as a center in the city of Yogyakarta in 2010 RTRW apparently not in accordance with the results of the analysis scalogram.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze: (1) the influence of governmentexpenditureon education to HDI in Central Javafrom 2009 to 2013; (2)the influence of government expenditure on health to HDI in Central Java from 2009 to 2013; (3) theinfluence of population density to HDI inCentral Java from 2009 to 2013. Secondary data, from the Central Statistics Agency and Financial Bureau Secretaries of Central Java province in 2009-2013 were used. This study implemented panel data with Fixed Effect Model (FEM)method of Generalized Least Square (GLS). The results show that the governmment expenditure on education and health has positive and significant effect to HDI in Central Java. However, population density doesn’t significantlyaffect the HDI in Central Java.

Abstract

Whether the government interference is necessary or not, has already everlasting theme in term ofthe history of economy policy. Most of people believed in vary of irrational myths that market mechanismwould be able to guarantee productivity, privatization would increase efficiency, the government roleshould be restricted and most of all, everything should be liberated to the private sector. It is unavoidablethat such policy contained certain implications. Deregulation policy that has been done so far, was one ofthe main factors of the bigger global policy that is liberalization of economy. However, does that globalpolicy was really useful for the public? Does privatization bring into people prosperity? Didn’tglobalization is only a myth that increased poverty and even huge gap between the have and the havenot? This paper is trying to study what neo liberalism is, what the policies, what is the government role,the strategic sectors that is colonized by foreign companies and, how intellectual should make theirmanner.Keywords: Neo liberalism, Myths, Expectation.
Reducing Regional Poverty Rate in Central Java Sriyana, Jaka

Abstract

This paper elaborates some appropriate policies regarding regional poverty reduction in Central Java province. This research estimates a poverty model based on a set of panel data comprising 29 regencies and six cities from 2011 to 2016. A fixed-effect model presents that poverty rate has a negative association with regional economic growth, minimum wage level, number of unemployment, and the quality of human resources. The higher number of population significantly decreases poverty rate in each region. Also, this study indicates that there is more poverty rate in the eastern region than that in the west region.  Moreover, the percentage of the poverty rate in regencies remains higher than the level in the cities. Overall, these results indicate that the local governments have successfully managed the poverty issues in among regencies and cities. This research finds that local governments are on the right way in their public policies in the development process. For more effective in poverty reduction, the local governments in the eastern region have to improve their human resources quality.

Abstract

   Corn represents one of the agricultural comodities in Grobogan regency. However, the average corn production in Grobogan is only 4,92 ton/Ha. It is below the standard production determined by the government which ranges from 5,5 to 6 ton/ Ha. The aim of this study is to know the efficiency of production factors in farm bussiness, especially corn farm in Grobogan regency. The samples are 90 divisible respondents in Purwodadi, Torohand Kradenan. Then, the purposive cluster of area random sampling was applied for having the samples and quantitative descriptive approach was used for having the findings. After analyzing the data, it is shown that the variables influence the efficiency of production factors in farm bussiness are land area, seed production, and fertilizer production. Furthermore, those variables are inefficient in the busssiness farm. It is based on the calculation that shows the following findings: technical efficiency is 0,9996633, the price efficiency is1,53563, and the economic efficiency is 1,5346. Knowing that the variables involve in the farm bussiness, especially corn have not been efficient yet, the government roles are needed, and agriculture policy should be issued for protecting the peasants.
