Abstract

Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran tingkat konsumsi air dan status dehidrasi atlet pencak silat Tapak Suci kota Semarang. Penelitian ini menggambarkan tingkat konsumsi air dan status dehidrasi atlet pencak silat Tapak Suci kota Semarang. Metode yang digunakan adalah dengan pengukuran tingkat konsumsi air dengan menggunakan recall 24 jam dan pengukuran status dehidrasi dengan parameter warna urin. Populasi penelitian ini adalah keseluruhan anggota pencak silat Tapak Suci Putra Muhammadiyah kota Semarang yang berjumlah 25 orang, sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh populasi. Hasil penelitian menggambarkan bahwa 23 orang (92%) atlet mengalami dehidrasi ringan berdasarkan parameter pengukuran dehidrasi menggunakan warna urin. Ditemukan 22 orang (88,0%) atlet yang mengkonsumsi air dalam kategori defisit dengan rata-rata konsumsi air sebanyak 68% atau sebanyak 2,3 liter dalam sehari.The purpose of this research is to know the description of water consumption level and dehydration status of martial arts athletes of Tapak Suci Semarang city. This study describes the level of water consumption and dehydration status. The method used is to measure the level of water consumption by using a 24-hour recall and measurement of dehydration status with urine color parameters. The population of this study is the total members of Pencak Silat Tapak Suci Putra Muhammadiyah Semarang, which is 25 people, the sample in this study is the entire population. The results showed that 23 (92%) athletes were mildly dehydrated based on dehydration measurement parameters using urine color. Found 22 people (88.0%) athletes who consume water in the deficit category with an average water consumption of 68% or as much as 2.3 liters a day

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas tentang atlet penyandang cacat dan bagaimana kondisi mereka dapat diadaptiskan dengan kegiatan yang cocok untuk memungkinkan mereka berpartisipasi dalam aktivitas fisik dan olahraga. Tujuan yang diharapkan adalah untuk membantu pelatih dalam melakukan pelatihan untuk para penyandang cacat, 1) Untuk memahami kondisi mereka, 2) Merancang program yang tepat untuk kondisi mereka, 3) Menyoroti hambatan dan kondisi yang mempengaruhi atlet dengan partisipasi penyandang cacat dalam olahraga, terutama yang berkaitan dengan kesehatan, keselamatan dan pertimbangan medis yang pelatih harus memahami dan mengelola hati-hati. Artikel ini menawarkan rekomendasi tentang bagaimana pelatih harus melatih atlet dengan cacat.Kata Kunci: pelatihan atlet kebutuhan khususAbstract The article briefly discusses athletes with disabilities and how their condition can be matched with suitable activities to allow them to participate in physical activity and sports. The article also aims at assisting coaches who conducts training for people with disability to understand their condition first, and then devise programs that are appropriate for their condition. Furthermore, it highlights the barriers and conditions that affect athletes with disabilities participation in sports, especially those related to the health, safety, and medical considerations that coaches should understand and manage carefully. The article offers recommendations on how coaches should train athletes with disability.Keywords: disability athletes coaching

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara obesitas dan aktivitas  sik dengan tekanan darah pasien hipertensi di Puskesmas Kotagede I Kota Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian observasional dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh pasien hipertensi rawat jalan Puskesmas Kotagede I Kota Yogyakarta. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 64 orang. Alat pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dan pengukuran tekanan darah. Analisis data menggunakan analisis korelasi Kendall’s Tau. Hasil penelitian : status gizi pasien hipertensi dalam kategori obesitas sebesar 64,1%. Aktivitas  sik pada pasien hipertensi dalam kategori sedang sebesar 67,3%. Hasil analisisKendall’s Taudiperoleh nilai p valuesebesar 0,235 (p0,05) tidak terdapat hubungan obesitas dengan tekanan darah. Hasil analisis Kendall’s Taudiperoleh nilai p value sebesar 0,651 (p0,05) tidak terdapat hubungan antara aktivitas  sik dengan tekanan darah. Simpulan : tidak terdapat hubungan yang signi kan obesitas dan aktivitas  sik dengan tekanan darah pada pasien hipertensi di Puskesmas Kotagede I Kota Yogyakarta.

Abstract

Wheelchair athletes need to engage into physical activity and sports in order to keep their body functioning for activity for daily living (ADL) or for sporting actions. Sports also are a part of the rehabilitation program since it been introduced by Sir Ludwig Gutmann in England late 1940s. With the growth of sport activity in daily lives of persons with disabilities, it has been rightly perceived that disabled persons could obtain the same physical and emotional benefits from sport as their able-bodied counterparts, leading to an increased need to overcome limitations, opponents and records. The introduction of sports therapy in rehabilitation, as well as further involvement in sports depends on the severity of the injury, might lead a disabled person to either become a non-competitive athlete or a paralympic athlete. Athletes with Spinal cord injury facing problems with their thermoregulatory response. In relation to that, during exercise in the heat, paraplegic athletes demonstrates similar increase in core temperature compared with able-bodied athletes, but at a much lower metabolic rate, reflecting the decreased heat dissipation. Individuals who use wheelchairs vary widely in their level of cardiorespiratory fitness, some being seriously unfit and others are achieving levels that compare closely with those of fit able-bodied athletes. Wheelchair users also should be encouraged to use a hand-propelled rather than a motorized chair in daily life and to eat a diet that is well regulated to avoid accumulation of excess body fat.

Abstract

Kondisi fisik merupakan salah satu faktor penting untuk diperhatikan dalam setiap cabang olahraga untuk mencapai prestasi tertinggi. Tujuan mempersiapkan fisik dalam latihan adalah meningkatkan komponen biomotor ke standar yang paling tinggi. Kemampuan biomotor explosive power dan kecepatan merupakan komponen penting yang diperlukan disetiap cabang olahraga. Latihan plyometric seperti jump to box, front box jump dan depth jump merupakan jenis latihan yang mampu mengembangkan kemampuan bimotor tersebut. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk menganalisis tentang: (1) pengaruh latihan jump to box terhadap explosive power, (2) pengaruh latihan jump to box terhadap kecepatan, (3) pengaruh latihan front box jump terhadap explosive power, (4) pengaruh latihan front box jump terhadap kecepatan, (5) pengaruh latihan depth jump terhadap explosive power, (6) pengaruh latihan depth jump terhadap kecepatan, (7) perbedaan pengaruh latihan jump to box, front box jump dan depth jump terhadap explosive power, (8) perbedaan pengaruh latihan jump to box, front box jump dan depth jump terhadap kecepatan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen semu (quasi experiment). Rancangan penelitian ini menggunakan matching only design, analisis data menggunakan uji-t dan ANOVA. Proses pengambilan data pretest dan posttest dilakukan dengan pengukuran berat badan dan vertical jump untuk mengukur explosive power, kemudian dilakukan pengukuran lari cepat 30 meter untuk mengukur kecepatan.Hasil analisis data diperoleh data rata-rata antara pretest dan posttest masing-masing kelompok yaitu: (a) Kelompok eksperimen I untuk explosive power = 14,470 watt, sig.= 0,029 dan kecepatan = 0,035 m/second, sig = 0,001. (b) Kelompok eksperimen II untuk explosive power = 14,153 watt, sig.= 0,002 dan kecepatan = 0,035 m/second, sig = 0,000. (c) Kelompok eksperimen III untuk explosive power = 19,113 watt, sig.= 0,002 dan kecepatan = 0,048 m/second, sig = 0,000. (d) Kelompok kontrol untuk explosive power = 4,757 watt, sig.= 0,000 dan kecepatan = 0,020 m/second, sig = 0,003. Sedangkan perbedaan pengaruh antar kelompok memiliki sig. 0,040 pada explosive power sedangkan sig. 0,001 pada kecepatan. Simpulan hasil penelitian, terdapat pengaruh signifikan latihan jump to box, front box jump dan depth jump terhadap explosive power otot tungkai dan kecepatan. Terdapat perbedaan pengaruh yang signifikan antara latihan jump to box, front box jump dan depth jump terhadap explosive power otot tungkai dan kecepatan. Latihan depth jump lebih baik dari latihan jump to box dan front box jump.The physical condition is one important factor to consider in any sport to achieve the highest achievement. Interest physically prepare the exercise is to improve biomotor components to the highest standards. Biomotor ability explosive power and speed are essential components required in every sport. Plyometric exercises such as jump to box, front box jump and depth jump is a type of exercise that develops the ability bimotor. The purpose of this study is to analyze about: (1) the effects of exercise jump to box against explosive power, (2) the effects of exercise jump to box against speed, (3) the effects of exercise front box jumps on explosive power, (4) the effects of exercise front box jumps to the speed, (5) the effect exercise depth jump against explosive power, (6) the effect of exercise depth jump to the speed, (7) differences in the effects of exercise jump to box, front box jump and depth jump on explosive power, (8) differences in the effects of exercise jump to box, front box jump and depth jump to the speed. This research is a quantitative with quasi-experimental. The research design uses matching only design, data analysis using t-test and ANOVA. The process of data collection is done with a pretest and posttest weight measurements and to measure vertical jump explosive power, then measuring sprinting 30 meters to measure speed. The results of data analysis using SPSS version 20 on average between pretest and posttest each group, namely: (a) The experimental group I for explosive power = 14,470 watts, sig. = 0.029 and speed = 0,035 m / second, sig = 0.001. (b) The experimental group II for explosive power = 14,153 watts, sig. = 0.002 and velocity = 0.035 m / second, sig = 0.000. (c) The experimental group III for explosive power = 19,113 watts, sig. = 0.002 and velocity = 0.048 m / second, sig = 0.000. (d) The control group for explosive power = 4,757 watt, sig. = 0.000 and speed = 0,020 m / second, sig = 0.003. While the difference between the influence of the group had sig. 0.040 on explosive power while sig. 0.001 at speed. Conclusion The results of the study, that (1) There is a significant effect of exercise jump to box, front box jump and depth jump of leg muscle explosive power and speed. (2) There is a significant difference between the exercise jump to box, front box jump and depth jump of leg muscle explosive power and speed.Exercise depth jump better than exercise jump to box and front box jump.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengoptimalkan kompetensi siswa dalam subyek pembangunan motor melalui media film animasi. Percobaan dilakukan menggunakan rancangan penelitian tindakan. Desain penelitian ini terdiri dari empat komponen yang saling terkait: perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi dan refleksi pada setiap siklus. Tindakan dalam penelitian ini meningkatkan kompetensi siswa dalam subyek dari perkembangan motorik melalui media film animasi. Berdasarkan analisis dan refleksi pada siklus tindakan yang telah dilaksanakan maka diperoleh kesimpulan berikut: (1) Penggunaan media film animasi dapat mengoptimalkan kompetensi siswa dalam mata pelajaran perkembangan motorik, (2) meningkatkan antusiasme dan ketertarikan siswa dalam belajar perkembangan motorik, (3) Siswa memperoleh kepuasan setelah menghadiri perkembangan motorik belajar.Kata Kunci: kompetensi mahasiswa; perkembangan motorik; film animasi This research aims to optimize the student competence in the subject of motor development through the medium of film animation. The experiment was conducted using action research design. This research design consisted of four interrelated components: planning, implementation of the action, observation and reflection on each cycle. Action in this research improving student competence in the subject of motor development through the medium of film animation. Based on analysis and reflection on cycles of action which has been implemented then obtained the following conclusions: (1) The use of animated film media can optimize student competence in subjects motor development, (2) Increased student enthusiasm and interest in learning motor development, (3) Students obtain satisfaction after attending learning motor development.Keywords: student competence; motor development; animation film

Abstract

Work performed labor is a type of work that requires only a simple motor skills but should be done continuously for several hours without pause. This condition in the long run potentially detrimental to health. To that end, after a through study kinesiology analysis of the dominant motions performed daily laborers in the work, creates a model of exercises that are intended to be to relax the muscles, stretch the joints, maintains extensive ranges of motion (range of motion), improve blood circulation edge, reduce saturation due to motion routines. Exercise is also designed to provide benefits for work to restore the sensitivity of sensory-motor nerves, reduce fatigue, reduce the possibility of faulty work, restore (recovery) initial fitness level as before the start of work and prevent the occurrence of abnormal posture due to the working position is maintained for a long time.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of protein supplementation on body composition (body weight, percent body fat and muscle mass). The method used experimental study group pre-post test design. Samples were students in football athletes SMA Terang Bangsa Semarang aged 15-18 years as many as 11 people. Treatment of samples for the provision of as much as 30 grams of protein supplements for 4 weeks. Weighing is done with a digital scale, percent body fat was measured  by bioelectrical impedance analyzer (BIA) Corona brand. Data were analyzed using the Paired t-test / Wilcoxon. The results of the statistical test Paired t-test / Wilcoxon there are differences in the results obtained decrease percent body fat (pre 19,1±1,1%, post 17,9±1,2%, p = 0.003) and an increase in lean body mass (pre 51,4±5,5 kg, post 52,4±5,5 kg, p = 0.013) after administration of a protein supplement. No difference in change in body weight after treatment. Conclusion: protein supplementation for 4 weeks can lower percent body fat and increase lean bodymass.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan passing bawah melalui metode game 3 on 3 dan permainan bola pantul. Metode yang digunakan adalah eksperimen dengan desain randomized control group pretest-posttest design dengan sampel sejumlah 45 siswa ekstrakurikuler yang di bagi menjadi 3 kelompok,15 orang diberi treatment game 3 on 3, 15 diberi treatment permainan bola pantul dan 15 kelompok kontrol. Tes yang digunakan adalah brumbach forearm pass wall volley test. Teknik analisis data menggunakan t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan kemampuan passing bawah melalui metode game 3 on 3 sebesar 39,72% dan melalui metode permainan bola pantul sebesar 64,29% dan kelas kontrol sebesar 19.72%. Perbedaan peningkatan kemampuan passing bawah melalui metode permainan bola pantul lebih besar dibandingkan melaui metode game 3 on 3, dan kelompok kontrol dengan signifikansi 0,000. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pasing bawah bola voli lebih efektif dengan permainan bola pantul.This study aims to develop lower passing skills through the method of game 3 on 3 and reflected ball games. The method of this study was a randomized control group pretest-posttest design with a sample of 51 extracurricular students divided into 3 groups, for the experimental group and the control group. The test used is a modified brumbach forearm pass wall volley test. Data analysis techniques using t-test. The results showed an increase in lower passing skills through the game 3 on 3 method of 39.72% and through the method of bouncing ball game of 64.29% and the control class of 19.72%. The difference in increasing the lower passing ability through the bounce ball method is greater than that of the game 3 on 3 method, with a significance of 0,000. The conclusion of this study is that to improve the ability to pass down volleyball more effectively with bouncing ball games.

Abstract

The purpose of this study to determine whether the application of modeling techniques and exercises to improve skills and gymnastics floor aerobics class 3 K-1 SMK Negeri 1 Waterford in the second semester of the school year 2012/2013.Dalam tests used in data collection techniques to determine student learning outcomes and techniques non-test in the form of sheets of observation by observation to determine the learning process. The research method used was Classroom Action Research to perform two actions in two cycles. From the results of this research note an improvement in learning outcomes and learning processes. From the initial conditions to an increase in cycle 1 average value of 74.77 to 78.83, an increase of 5.43 percent. In the two-cycle is the last cycle the average value is 85.26, which means an increase of 14.03 per cent of the initial conditions. Similarly, the learning process showed an increase in activity and creativity of students and teachers. It can be concluded that the application of modeling techniques and exercises to improve skills and gymnastics floor aerobics class 3 K-1 SMK Negeri 1 Waterford in the second semester of academic year 2012/2013.
