Abstract

One of the molding injection Komatsu 80T in the PT Yogya Presisi Teknikatama Industry has a problem on its performance. The performance of this injecton molding can be calculated by Overall Equipment Effectiveness(OEE). OEE is a factor which can be found by multiplication of Availability Ratio, Performance Efficiency and Rate of Quality. The values of OEE then be compared to the standart values of JIPM (The Japan Institute of Plan Maintenance) which JIPM defined a minimal standard value of OEE is 85%. If the result of OEE calculation less than 85%,what causes it be analysed by the Six Big Losses Analysis. The Result of analysis showed the sequence as Reduced Speed Loss, Setup and Adjusmnet loss, and Rework Loss. Then by Fishbone diagram, it can be known the causes of the decreasing OEE values, so the management can do the repairment.

Abstract

Social networking sites are very popular. At this time a lot of social networking sites that emerge and evolve. Some of which the most popular are Facebook, Twitter, path, myspace. These sites are popular because it has many users from various groups including the student. Students including active users of social networking sites. The majority of the students even already have an account at more than one site of several social networking sites. Social networking sites can be used by students for a variety of purposes, one of them as a medium of learning. This research is a case study to explore the use of social networking sites as a medium of learning among the students. A total of 42 students were respondents in this study. Results of the analysis found that social networking sites are already quite familiar among students as a means to socialize as well as a learning medium. In addition, it features a social networking site which is used as a medium of learning is not much different from the usual features that are used for other purposes.

Abstract

This research aims to know whether employees perception to compensation justice which is accepted affecting the level of employee’s job satisfaction. Research data obtained from primary data and secondary data. Primary data obtained by giving questionnaire to respondent. Secondary data consist of history of the company, company’s profile, organization chart, total of employees, and applied compensation system. Data analysis using the analysis of linear regression and correlation analysis. result of this research shows that there is significantly influence between employees perception to compensation justice with job satisfaction. And there is closer relationship between perception variable about justice of compensation system with job satisfaction.

Abstract

Customer satisfaction is the most important aspect in order to improve services of Jombor bus station in Sleman-Yogyakarta. The research aims to find out service performance provided in the Jombor bus station, and to give an overview of vicinity condition which can be used to improve services quality for the customer. Methods used in this research are: Service performance (Servperf), Importance Performance Analysis (IPA), and Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI). Servperf method with five measuring attribute such as tangibles, responsiveness, assurance, empathy, reability is used to determine the rate of service performance. Furthermore, there are 17 questions provided in order to collect the data. Based on Importance Performance Analysis, there are four service attributes having high level of interest, and low service performance. They are: fineness, cleanliness, and mildness of passenger waiting room, and praying room, also the bus condition, and the safety of bus station zone. The result shows that consumers feel less satisfied with services provided by Jombor bus station management. It because based on the calculation of customer satisfaction index, value 71% is classified as poor condition. Several advices have been given in order to improve the consumer satisfaction such as, inspection of bus condition, renovation of passenger waiting room, rest room, and praying room including the availability of electric equipment such as: speaker, microphone, CCTV, and announcement board. Moreover, in order to reduce the air pollution, the Jombor bus station is suggested to grow some plants in its environment.

Abstract

Teaching and learning activities at an early age children is important to note especially about learning media used. In the learning process often children do not focus on what is being taught by the teacher because there is nothing more exciting than being taught by the teacher. In addition the level of boredom child will be increased when the media is not interesting again. Great Media affect the child's motivation to learn. The use of technology in learning media is expected to increase the learn motivation in early childhood. This research will be built a learning media such as flash card that uses augmented reality technology that is expected to increase the learn motivation of early childhood. The results showed that the use of flash media cards augmented reality can improve learning outcomes in children seen from the responses given by children when study. Sistem flash cards augmented reality can be run properly and children can use them independently.

Abstract

The mechanical properties of Fe97,91Mn1,60C0,41 steel alloy have improved, especially hardness after been subjected to various quenching media. Samples were heated at austenite temperature 800oC and 2 hours holding time, then quenched in water, oil, and salt water. The microstructures obtained were used to explain the results using optical microscope. Crystal structure and hardness were studied using X-Ray Diffractometer and Brinell Hardness Test. The hardness values of the quenched samples were 375 HB in salt water media, 257 HB in water media, and 231 HB in oil media. Crystal transformation from FCC -austenit to BCT α-martensit were observed in optical microscope and 2 peak values of XRD test result.

Abstract

Production process continuity is highly influenced by machine performance. Meanwhile, in order to maintain production process running smoothly, risk management activities such as failure process analysis is utilized to anticipate any damage which might occur in the production facilities. This research was conducted in PT. PUPUK SRIWIDJAJA, especially at urea fertilizer packaging division on October 2015. Morover, due to bad condition of old engine, damage occurs in the fertilizer packaging machine every week. The research aims to determine the priority of failure which gives the greatest risk toward fertiliaer packaging process. Fuzzy FMEA is used in this research. The result shows that, the damage because of air cylinder leakage gives the greatest risk in failure of fertilizer packaging.

Abstract

Menghilangkan waste dan mengoptimalkan penggunaan kontainer merupakan hal yang penting dalam proses pengiriman komponen impor yang dilakukan oleh divisi logistik impor. Proses di gudang bahan baku impor berawal dari unloading kontainer hingga penyimpanan pada rak shutter. Pengiriman dalam kemasan pallet kayu untuk komponen PIO non-regulasi menimbulkan permasalahan yaitu ruang yang tidak terpakai cukup besar karena kardus komponen tidak diperbolehkan menahan tumpukan pallet kayu dan membutuhkan proses mengemas ulang. Penggantian pengiriman kemasan pallet kayu menjadi pallet rangka besi harus dianalisis kelayakannya sehingga masalah tersebut dapat diatasi. Disamping itu pengiriman komponen PIO non-regulasi dapat menggenapi pola siklus returnable pallet besi yang selama ini tidak dapat berlangsung untuk impor center cap dan ekspor komponen Engine SUV. Cara pengalokasian ke pallet rangka besi berdasarkan dimensi kardus komponen setelah itu disimulasikan ke dalam gambar AutoCAD 3 dimensi. Dengan pengemasan pallet rangka besi diperoleh jumlah pallet rangka besi yang dipakai 46 unit. Efisiensi penggunaan kontainer mencapai 72,1%, kebutuhan kontainer berkurang 1 kontainer, dan penghematan waktu sebesar 15,3 jam.

Abstract

Analysis of the core phase of solving cases of computer crime. Evidence obtained is processed and analyzed to find things related. At this stage the goods with the case. There are some open source applications that can be used for the analysis phase. These applications must be installed in a computer investigator. Some devices are used based on open source operating system running on Linux. Besides some standard devices on the Linux operating system can also be used to perform the forensic analysis. UAT (USB Analisys Tool) is a solution offered. This device is a device based integrated Linux system and run without installing the system into the computer. This device uses a model of presistence disk. Presistence disk model is the means used to create a Linux-based operating system can run on USB flash drives. This model allows the operating system installed on a USB device flash drive can be developed as needed. In addition, the device also comes with UAT Luke encryption method to keep the data stored in the USB device remains secure. UAT resulting device features the Auto root login, Interactive menu, Global menu indicator, Calendar, these features may be easier for users to use this device. The results of tests carried out on 7 computers, devices UAT boot faster than booting Windows system, however tend to be slower than the Linux-based system installed on the hard drive. It can be affected by the process of data transfer through the USB interface which tends to be slower.
