Abstract

ABSTRACT This study analyzes and describes how the phenomenon of attachment figure in the lives of students with homosexual orientation at Udayana University. Through the analysis conducted, most of the informants who are students with homosexual orientation and their attachment figures have conflicts experience when they acted as etre en soi or etre pour soi, it can happen because one human being will certainly objectify another human being to maintain the subjectivity. Broadly speaking, this attachment relationship can be respects each other’s subjectivity as an individual, but does not always work well and has a positive connotation. The conflict that revealed by Sartre in existentialism between one individual and another is illustrated through the various experiences that have been passed and the existential meanings carried out by students with homosexual orientation at Udayana University and their attachment figures. Abstract

ABSTRACT This study analyzes how the role of the Setia Darma House of Mask and Puppets as an information center to preserve and maintain the traditional arts of local culture. The method used in this research is quaIitative with an explanative descriptive type. The theory used is the local cultural empowerment theory from Jim Ife. This theory explains how the empowerment of local culture is an important part and component in instilling a sense of community to appreciate and maintain the preservation of local culture. From the analysis carried out, there were various positions conveyed by the informants. Most of the informations revealed that changes by presering and maintaining local cultural arts.The owner is sentral to empowering the Balinese dan Indonesia culture. The empowerment of local culture has been carried out to create changes towards the better so that traditional arts are more appreciated by the wider community. Abstract

The problem of waste now is the main problem faced by the community. Waste is closely related to public health because the waste will have an impact on causing disease. In this case the character of environmental care plays a big role in the welfare and sustainability of people's lives. This study uses qualitative and descriptive methods to find out and explain the “Malu Dong” community to develop public awareness as a society character so that they care about the environment around them. The results of this study are that the character values found in the “Malu Dong” community are environmental care, social care, creativity and responsibility. The formation of environmentally friendly character in the “Malu Dong” community is carried out through activities that have a positive impact on the environment and society, among other activities, early education, field activities, environmental care campaigns, and beach clean-up. Abstract

This research analyzes how technological development have impact on various aspects of human’s life and create diverse professional fields in Denpasar city, social media instagram as a forum to develop potential as a model. An instagram celebrity generally has a strong influence to their followers. This makes the celebgrams will use the opportunity to benefit from endorsement. The method is qualitative-descriptive explanative type. The theory is dramaturgical of Erving Goffman explaining that everyday’s life is a stage setting and humans are actors who act to impress audiences. Human have three stages, frontstage, middlestage, backstage. On frontstage, models on their personal instagram tend to display a very perfect self-image, and good behavior. But when they are in backstage they tend to be themselves, be outspoken and release all attributes that they aspires to on social media, middlestage is the place where models prepare to improve their appearance on the frontstage. Abstract

Ter-Teran is a tradition practiced by people Village People Jasri located in the Village Subagan, Karangasem district, Karangasem regency. Ter-Teran tradition still maintained because it is a heritage that can strengthen the belief in religious teachings and to improve solidarity in society Jasri Village People, people believe the elimination of these traditions are believed to cause distress for the village. Ter-Teran tradition is maintained it contains positive meaning that are actualized in the social life of the Jasri traditional village. Abstract

This study focuses on the informal education of children in orphanages. This research explains the Role of the Tunas Bangsa Orphanage in an Effort to Improve Foster Child Welfare through Informal Education. The background in this research is the application of informal education which is the main thing for the children at the Tunas Bangsa Orphanage and the suitability of informal education for the welfare of the Tunas Bangsa Orphanage's children. Based on these problems This study uses descriptive and explanative types aim to describe social action from Tunas Bangsa Orphanage. The theory used is social action theory of Max Weber. The results of activity process consists of three systems The Tunas Bangsa. The results of this research suggest that the Tunas Bangsa Orphanage should present a father figure. Abstract

Dispute between "I" and "me" uses the self of the prospective pastor to minimize and anticipate pastors who are involved in social problems. The purpose is to explain the process of disagreement between "I" and "me" in the candidate for pastor and analyze ideal self-concept of the ideal pastor in his status and role as the pastor of the Bali Unshakeable Church. This research uses George Herbert Mead's self-concept and uses a descriptive-exploratory research method using a qualitative approach. The results show that various socialization media have their respective values and norms that apply and have the potential to create clashes that cause disputes within prospective pastors and affect them. The ideal pastor in the Bali Unshakeable Church is to imitate Jesus and have the fruit of the Spirit, while the role of the pastor is to preach in front of the pulpit and lead the life of the congregation.

Abstract

This study examines the role of social capital in the consistency and sustainability of the environmentally friendly textile industry in CV. Tarum Bali. The type of research used is descriptive-explanative qualitative research. The theory used is that the author uses Robert D Putnam's thoughts on social capital. According to Putnam, social capital is a part of social life such as networks, norms and beliefs that encourage participation to act together more effectively to achieve common goals. Tarum Bali is able to explore well the role of social capital with the linkage of their business, realizing that the network formed or formed by Tarum Bali supports their production process. Abstract

This research focuses on the perceptions of Udayana University students in the political parody of Nurhadi-Aldo's meme posts in the background during the simultaneous elections in 2019. The type of research used in this research is qualitative research with descriptive and explorative types. The theory used in this research is Arthur Asa Berger's semiotic theory which is a reference for analyzing the signs and meanings that exist in Nurhadi-Aldo's meme posts. The purpose of this study is to describe and explain the perceptions of Udayana University students in seeing the meanings and signs in Nurhadi Aldo's posts and the things that encourage students to follow the Nurhadi-Aldo phenomenon. The results showed that Udayana students saw fictional campaigns and funny memes displayed on Nurhadi-Aldo's social media accounts which made Udayana students interested in participating so that they had different responses. Abstract

A coffee shop is a place that provides various types of processed coffee. The sustainability of the coffee shop experienced a few obstacles when facing the current state of the covid-19 pandemic. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive-explanative type of research. The theory used in this research is James S. Coleman's rational choice theory. This study examines the strategy for the sustainability of coffee shops in Surakarta City during the COVID-19 pandemic. Based on the results of this study, an appropriate strategy is needed to maintain the sustainability of coffee shops during the current pandemic. Some of the strategies used by coffee shops in Surakarta City and considered cost-effective, such as discount promos and bundling packages, implementing employee work shifts, adding new menus and coffee education through social media to consumers. This study also explains the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the sustainability of coffee shops. Keywords: Coffee Shop, Strategy, Covid-19, Rational Choice
