Abstract

ABSTRACT Waerebo is one of the traditional institutions located in the village Satarlenda, District Satarmese West Manggarai regency, East Nusa Tenggara Province. Waerebo customary institutions have very interesting potential for tourists, namely the potential of natural and artificial potential also very beautiful natural scenery and managed by the communities themselves Wearebo. Tourism attraction in Waerebo are custom homes that are very interested by tourists who shaped Krucut and have five levels, when tourists go to Waerebo, the person in charge of serving  travelers to wear  customs such as: "towe songke, scarves songke, and broom songke ".   Key word: Traditional Institutions, Tourism, Empowerment.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Social Autisitas is a real form of gamers behavior that occurs as a result of the habit of playing online games DotA-2, which is also the repesentasi of hiperreality. Online game represents a new alternative space of influence of digitalization of modern life by using an intermediary media in the form of microcomputers which have internet access. DotA-2 is one of the most popular online games today, which is also one of the branches of international e-sport games, as well as an online game into the game in the activities of IT ESEGA by HMTI Udayana University. The habit of playing games bring positive or negative influence to the players which is can causing addiction. This study aims to understand the appeal of the game DotA-2, determine the intensity of the primary social interaction gamers DotA-2 Information Technology campus environment, and explain the behavior patterns of the gamers DotA-2 that leads to social autisitas behavior. This study was analyzed by using the concept of hyperreality of the theory of Jean P. Baudrillard's simulacra with qualitative descriptive method using structured interview method, observation and document analysis in data retrieval. This study shows the results of stating that the game DotA-2 is a type of role playing game with emphasis on strategy and teamwork. Abstract

ABSTRAK Under age marriage in north Mamben Daya Village, subdistrict of Wanasaba, East Lombok regency mostly afficted to the women if it comparedwith te man. The age of women who get merried at under age was about 10 to 15 year old. Under age marriage is not always become a problem so that from years to years amount of the under age marriage women is increase significantly.Statement problem of this study are (1) Why do the women chose to get merried at young age? (2) How the under age marriage cab effect to the family life?Study approach of this research is qualitative research has done in north Mamben Daya Village. This is a study case while the type of this research is descriptive method. Purprose of this study is to describe the reason of the women who get merried at under age and the effect of under age marriage. Theoritical frameworkthat used in this study was rasional choise of James Coleman.The result of this study shows that the women who get married at under age indirectly mostly caused by financial reason in her family life beside that merariq tradition and  dedare tuaq symbol legitimate the caused of under age marriage to the women furthermore there are some things that the women has to sacrifie in under age marriage (1) education, (2) adolescene, (3) boyfriend. Under age marriage has positive and negative effect, for the parents of the women  it has positive effect. They can decrease financial responsibility and avoid symbol of dedare tuaq for their daughter. Meanwhile negative effect of under age marriage for the women mostly get domestic andvioleace then divorce lastly and effect to the pregnance and to the baby that will  abnormally. Abstract

ABSTRACT This Research use term of George Ritzer, that is McDonaldization and of dehumanization worker to perceive five branch of McDonald's in Bali. This Research have purpose to know all kind of dehumanization in interpretation worker of restaurant fast food McDonald's, what later, then exposed in the form of erudite study. Pursuant to result of descriptive research method qualitative observation and explanative in field, and also circumstantial interview to ten worker of McDonald's, writer find matters which is equal to found by Ritzer in the year 1993 ago, that is: efficiency, power of arithmetic, power of prediction, and technological control to worker to reach satisfaction of customer . Abstract

ABSTRAK Parents’ bustle in their jobs make the role and function as parents must be replaced by other people. Particularly the busy parents who have toddlers that need particular attention and surveillance especially in embedding good attitude, because embedding good attitude is truly prominent for children’s growth and progress. Children care Yudhistira Batuan is one of daycares located in Jungut subvillage, Batuan village, Sukawati district, Gianyar regency, this place is  chosen by the busy parents to commend their children. Through children care Yudhistira Batuan, children’s progress is more directed and they will be able to be more independent. Children care Yudhistira Batuan has  planned nurture with balanced system of learning and playing, hence, the busy parents choose children care Yudhistira Batuan as an oppropriate choice and this action will be able to give positive impacts for their toddlers as well. ABSTRACT The advanced of knowledge and technology in health, had impact in advance of medicinal treatment. However the advanced of medicinal treatment didn’t entire drag traditional treatment (Battra) in society. Battra Pijat at Panti Pijat Tuna Netra KUBE Dharma Bakti Denpasar wasone of Battra was still became interest in society. Based on the fact this research guided for understanding the behaviour health on Battra Pijat at Panti Pijat Tuna Netra KUBE Dharma Bakti Denpasar can be formulated as follows 1) How the implemented of Battra Pijat at Panti Pijat Tuna Netra KUBE Dharma Bakti? and 2) How the health seeking behaviour of five patient at Panti Pijat Tuna Netra KUBE Dharma Bakti ? The theory of Rossenstock used for answer of the problem, with the qualitative approach. The results of the research conducted in Battra Pijat at Panti Pijat Tuna Netra KUBE Dharma Bakti Denpasar were: the threated from family and the factor from the outside from individual such as from family, friend, media, and hospital medicinal behaviour, became the individual motivator to did the medicinal in PantiPijat Tuna Netra KUBE Dharma Bakti. The payment risk and the disease which could be serious couldn’t be compared with the benefit which the individual felt who had treatment in Panti Pijat Tuna Netra KUBE Dharma Bakti among others without medical procedure, didn’t use the medicine, could compare with another medicine, the medicinal, good interaction between terapist and patient could be motivate the individual easily. The conclusion of the study was the search Battra Pijat on Panti Pijat Tuna Netra KUBE Dharma Bakti behaviour by society influenced by the beliefof the search medicinal treatment was better than the others medicinal treatment. Abstract

ABSTARCT Traffic Jams is one of the urban problems that are inevitable in big cities in Indonesia. Denpasar city as the capital of Bali province also experienced problems of congestion and other transportation problems. The increasing number of people in Denpasar and the increasing mobility of society, leading to increased number of vehicles that have an impact on transportation matters. The number of motorcycles that dominate contributed the largest number of accidents. Management and traffic engineering must be done to reduce the number of accidents, one of them by creating a special line of motorcycles. This research explains how the public perception of a special line of motorcycles as well as the impact of its use on the safety of motorists. Social action theory put forward by Max Weber and the theory of social structuring Anthony Giddens with qualitative methods can explain the behavior of people in the Denpasar city driving in the special line of motorcycles. Abstract

ABSTRACT This research attempts to explain about the strategy that used by Arab ethnic groups to adapt with their new environment. It uses a qualitative approach and analyzed by the AGIL system theory from Talcott Parsons. The adaptation strategy that they are doing is observing and studying the Balinese people's daily life. The adaptation in aspect of social, cultural, and also understanding the local language has been well done by the Arab ethnic so they can be easily accepted by the new environment. As the time goes by, Arab ethnic can live in harmony among the Balinese ethnic and other ethnic groups around them. Hablum Minannas is a value that strongly hold by Arab ethnic in creating a good relationship between human beings. The good relations between Arab ethnic and Balinese ethnic also the other ethnicities should be sustainable so that they will always be able to run in harmony. Abstract

ABSTRACT This research is motivated by the diversity of group identities held by Hindu comunities in Bali that are multidimensional. This indirectly has relationship with various traditions such as the tradition of returning home. Thissresearch is conducted to find outhow significant relationshippbetween identity of Balinese etnic group and the tradition of returning home that was carried out bysstudents of the Faculty of Social and Political Science at Udayana University. Thissstudy uses quantitative research method using Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling technique to 98 respondens, namely the students who are Hindus who come from rural area in Bali, migrate in Denpasar either temporarily or permanently. The results obtained from hypotheses testing by using correlation analysis technique indicate that there is moderate positive relationship between group identity and tradition of returning home, with corelation coeffcient number0,474. While influence of group identity on the frequency of returning home was found22,5%. Keywords: Correlation, Group Identity, Ethnic Bali, Hometown

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study discusses the role of parents in Lento village in making children’s decisions become illegal female labor abroad, which is seen by George Herbert Mead’s theory of socialization through four social control. The approach of this research using descriptive qualitative method. Technique collection data using observation method, the process of analysis carried out in the form of oral or written words by taking several stages, namely, data reduction, data persentation and drawing conclusions about the role of parents in child decision making into illegal femalelabor in Lento vilagge. The results of research regardig the role of parents in making children’s decisions of children working abroad who are in the background of low family economic pressure and also the desires of the children themselves to work. For children to migrate and work is considered to be away out to improve the family’s economic life. Keywords: The Role of Parents, Child Decision Making, Illegal Women Labor.
