Abstract

Hasil ujian nasional diperlukan untuk menentukan kelulusan peserta didik dan memetakan pencapaian kompetensi lulusan secara tepat pada sekolah/madrasah dan daerah, sebagai salah satu indikator pendidikan.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1. Menjelaskantentang program perencanaan  menuju sukses Ujian Nasional Bahasa Indonesia di SMP 1 Kudus 2. Menjelaskan tentang  pelaksanaan program menuju sukses Ujian Nasional Bahasa Indonesia tahun 2013. 3.  Menjelaskan evaluasi tentang  pelaksanaan program menuju sukses Ujian Nasional Bahasa Indonesia di SMP 1 Kudus. 4. Menjelaskan tentang  hambatan-hambatan pelaksanaan program menuju sukses Ujian Nasional Bahasa Indonesia di SMP 1 Kudus.Metode: Dalam penelitian ini jenis penelitian  adalah penelitian diskriptik kualitatif yang menghasilkan data deskriptik dengan menggambarkan perilaku subjek yang diteliti. Alat pengambil data penelitian ini adalah angket, wawancara  dan data hasil ujian nasional Bahasa Indonesia tiga tahun terakhir. Teknik analisis data penelitian ini menggunakan model interactive Miles and Huberman.  Pembahasan dilakukan dengan melihat  program menuju sukses Ujian Nasional yaitu melihat perencanaan dan  pelaksanaan program peningkatan nilai Ujian Nasional Bahasa Indonesia di SMP 1 Kudus, dituangkan dalam bentuk KTSP dan Program khusus. Perencaanaan dan pelaksanaan program khusus berupa program pelaksanaan peningkatan nilai ujian Bahasa Indonesia melalui sebelas langkah, yaitu: 1. sosialisasi Ujian Nasional kepada orang tua siswa 2. dialog dengan orang tua siswa 3. Les sore  4. Try Out Ujian Nasional  5. Les desperitas  6. Metode Belajar Teman Sebaya 7. Klinik akademis 8. Penambahan jam Pelajaran untuk mata pelajaran  Ujian Nasional  9. Pembuatan soal yang esensial 10. Peran Guru Bimbingan dan Konseling  11. Memotivasi Anak. Hasil: Hasil ujian Nasional 1 tahun terakhir, jika dilihat dari nilai rerata nasional Bahasa Indonesia, maka nilai Ujian Akhir  Bahasa Indonesia di SMP 1 Kudus 8.84 masih diatas rerata nasional 6.93. Kata Kunci:  Ujian Nasional, les desperitas, belajar teman sebaya, klinik akademis

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui implementasi sistem pendidikan integrasi di Pondok Pesantren Al-Huda Jetis Desa Kutosari Kecamatan Kebumen Kabupaten Kebumen, serta untuk mengetahui pengaruhnya terhadap peserta didik di lembaga tersebut.Metode:Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif,  menggunakan sumber data  informan (pengasuh pondok/ketua yayasan, kepala sekolah/kepala madrasah, pengurus pondok, santri/siswa, komite sekolah), dokumen, dan proses belajar mengajarnya. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, pengamatan, dan analisa dokumen. Instrumennya adalah pedoman wawancara, catatan lapangan, lembar dokumentasi, perekam wawancara (mp4 recorder) dan kamera digital. Analisis datanya dengan melakukan transkripsi hasil rekaman untuk selanjutnya dianalisa secara kualitatif.Hasil: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Pondok Pesantren Al Huda Jetis memadukan lembaga pendidikan pesantren yang berkonsentrasi pada pendalaman ilmu-ilmu agama/tafaquh fiddin dengan lembaga pendidikan sekolah atau sekolah dan madrasah pada pendalaman ilmu umum di bawah naungan yayasan Kholidiyyah, dengan demikian pondok tersebut sudah menerapkan sistem pendidikan integrasi yaitu integrasi secara kelembagaan dan integrasi imtaq dan iptek, hal ini dapat dibuktikan dengan sudah berdirinya lembaga pendidikan umum, tingkat SLTP dan SLTA di pondok pesantren Al Huda yaitu SMP VIP (versi integrasi pesantren) Al Huda dan SMK VIP (versi integrasi pesantren) Al Huda yang dilaksanakan secara terpadu (boording school).  Implementasi sistem pendidikan integrasi di pondok pesantren tersebut akan dapat menghasilkan putra-putri bangsa yang memiliki harkat dan martabat tinggi, sehingga mampu menjadi pelopor pembangunan bagi dirinya maupun bagi bangsa dan negara dan menjadi penyangga yang kuat dan kokoh bagi perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi (iptek) serta iman dan taqwa (imtaq).  Kata kunci: integratif, kompetetif,  inovatif, akademis, agamis

Abstract

The objective of research was to find out the different effects of learning using interactive Compact Disc (CD) and the one using MS. Power Point media on the learning achievement improving braking system having been controlled from the student’s prior competency.This study was taken place in SMK Muhammadiyah Karangmojo (Karangmojo Muhammadiyah Vocational Middle School) as treatment group using interactive CD and SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Playen as treatment group using MS.Powerpoint in the XI graders in the school year of 2013-2014. The sample of research was taken using multistage cluster random sampling. This study was an experimental research with covariance analysis (ANACOVA) technique. Technique of collecting data used was test. The instruments used to collect data were physical prior competency and demonstration tests of improving automobile braking system. The physical prior competency test was tested for its validity and reliability to find out the validity and the reliability of the instrument to be used in the research. The physical prior competency test was validated using Micro Computer Adaptive Test (MicroCat) version 3.00 and the reliability of test was examined using Kruder and Richardson (KR-20) formula with r11 = 0.903. Subsequently, the data on physical prior competency and on improving automobile braking system obtained were then examined using prerequisite test including Normality and Homogeneity Tests with correlational regression coefficient. Technique of analyzing data used was a covariance analysis.Considering the result of analysis at significance level (α = 0.05), it could be stated that there was a different effects of interactive Compact Disc (CD) and MS. Powerpoint uses on the learning achievement of improving braking system having been controlled from the student’s prior competency with Fobservation > Ftable (4.997 > 4.00). Using interactive CD media, the learning achievement of the students had the mean value of 80.09 better than that of those using MS.Powerpoint, of 77.28. Keywords:          Learning Media, Interactive CD, MS.Powerpoint, Achievement, Student Prior Competency.

Abstract

The purpose of this research are to: (1) To describe the application of mathematics learning with cooperative learning model Teams Games Tournaments (TGT) to increase the motivation to learn math class XI student of SMK Negeri 1 Nganjuk TSP. (2) To describe the application of mathematics learning with cooperative learning model Teams Games Tournaments (TGT) to improve learning outcomes math class XI student of SMK Negeri 1 Nganjuk TSP. This study is a qualitative research approach to action research. Data collection techniques through tests, interviews, documentation. The results showed: (1) The application of  TGT cooperative learning model to improve learning motivation in class XI student of SMK Negeri 1 TSP Nganjuk Semester I. It is evident from the increase in the percentage of students motivation began preliminary data 42.42 % to 61.49 % in the first cycle and 81.44 % in the second cycle. (2) The application of TGT cooperative learning model to improve learning outcomes in class XI student of SMK Negeri 1 TSP Nganjuk Semester I. It is evident from the increase in the percentage of students that mastery learning ranging from 45.45 % at baseline, became 72.73 % in the first cycle and the second cycle becomes 90.91%. Keywords: Mathematics, Cooperative Learning Model Type Teams Games Tournaments, Motivation to Learn, Learning Outcomes.

Abstract

The purposes of this research are (1) to know the difference of Cultural Art Learning Achievement for the group of students who use demonstration method and the group of students who use mind mapping method, (2) to investigate the difference of Cultural Art learning achievement for the group of students who have high learning activeness and the group of students who have low activeness, and (3) to know the interaction of learning method and learning activeness in relation with the Cultural Art learning achievement. This investigation was done with a quantitative approach using an experimental method with 2x2 factorial designs. The population in this study were all eight grade students of SMP Sub Rayon Jakenan Pati Regency. In this study, the analysis technique used was the two-way analysis technique of variance (Two Way ANOVA). Based on the results of this research, it can be concluded that: (1) Students’ learning outcome of cultural art subject with demonstration method is better than students with mind mapping method. (2) Students’ learning outcome of cultural art subject who have high learning activeness is better than students who have low learning activeness. (3) Learning achievement of cultural art subject for the group of demonstration method with high learning activeness has the highest average score, while the group of mind mapping method with low learning activeness has the lowest average score.Keywords: demonstration method, mind mapping method, learning activeness, cultural art

Abstract

The aims of this study are to know (1) the planning peer learning method with a fast strategy on learning English, (2) the implementation of peer learning method with a fast strategy on learning English, (3) the evaluation of peer learning method with a fast strategy on learning English. (4) the implementation of peer learning method with a fast strategy on learning English. The research method is a qualitative research with ethnography design. For the method of collecting data, it uses interviews, observation, and documentation. The results showed: (1) Planning of peer learning method with a fast understanding strategy on learning English carefully. Teachers prepare lesson plans, tutors, the groups of students,  instructional materials, media and the lay out of the classrooms. (2) the implementation of peer learning method with a fast strategy for the eleventh year student started with the selection of the tutors who were asked  to learn the material in advance.  The teacher explains the material to the tutors, using the copies of the materials, or through the LCD media and give them some exercises. Then, the tutors’ duty is togive the explanation which they have gotten from their English teacher to their own groups with a fast new formula. At the end of the lesson, the teacher gives several simple sums to know his or her students’ mastering of the material.  (3) the evaluation of peer learning method with a fastk strategy on learning English for the eleventh year students of SMK 1 Bawang Banjarnegara caried out thoroughly. The teacher gives a written test and practice, while the aspects assessed include cognitive, affective, and psychomotoric aspects (4) the implementation of peer learning method with a fast strategy carried out by conducting apperception. Apperseption activities include conducting conditioning and an explanation of the learning method. Entering the core activities of the teacher calls tutors to give an explanation for 10 minutes about the use of the formula. The tutors will explain what is obtained from the teacher to share with the group for 20 minutes and the teacher will provide practice questions to determine the masteryy of the students.  Keywords: peers, understanding, fast

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate the implementation of extracurricular activities in womens volleyball SMP Negeri 1 Bancak Kabupaten Semarang  Academic Year 2013/2014.The research was conducted at SMP Negeri 1 Bancak Kabupaten Semarang using qualitative methods. Source of information in this study was the Principal, teacher or sports coach and student. Data collection techniques used observation, interview and documentation.Based on these results it can be concluded that the preparation of the program of extracurricular volleyball lesson plans have been developed since the beginning of the new academic year which begins with the assignment to vise principal field of student affairs, student interests talent needs analysis , program development and finalization of the validation activities then the distribution of extracurricular activities volleyball program to the parties concerned. Implementation of learning activities extracurricular volleyball starts with the realization of the program and continues to perform continuous monitoring to achieve the desired results. Implementation of volleyball practice begins with a briefing, warming, real training and ends with a briefing again . Efforts to create accomplishment starts from direction and coaching from the school, which is great motivation for the players so that they become eager to create and improve volleyball performance. In addition the player coach relationship pattern is maintained so that the resulting proximity harmony but remain firmly in the regulations. Discipline and also serves as a model for the players is one of the efforts made by coaches for volleyball achievement as one of the attitudes that have kept the coach is behavior. Efforts to create a volleyball achievements can be done with good intensive training to increase skills, physical and strategies, the provision of reward and punishment, motivation, mental coaching champions, courage, never give up. Besides building a spirit of brotherhood among coaches with participants with eating and cooking together, home visits and financial aid and the establishment of a strong physical player. Shortage of funds and also the condition of the neighborhood students, lack of infrastructure, which decreases performance coach, the development of science and technology become an obstacle in the implementation of learning womens volleyball extracurricular activities.Keywords: Learning Model, Extracurricular Volleyball.

Abstract

Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui (1) hubungan antara motivasi dengan prestasi belajar siswa (2) hubunganantara disiplin dengan prestasi belajar siswa (3) hubunganantara motivasi dan disiplin dengan prestasi belajar siswa SMK Negeri 1 Pracimantoro Semester 1 tahun Pelajaran 2012/2013. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa SMK Negeri 1 Pracimantoro yang berjumlah 222 siswa. Sampel diambil dengan sistem pengambilan sampel randomberstrata, dengan menggunakan rumus Slovin yaitu 69 siswa. Data variabel motivasi belajar, dan disiplin belajar diambil menggunakan angket dan variabel prestasi belajar dengan menggunakan dokumentasi raport. Uji instrumen meliputi validitas dan reliabilitas. Validitas empiris menggunakan rumus korelasi produk momen dari Pearson. Reliabilitas menggunakan rumus koefisiensi Alpha Cronbach, dan didapatkan instrumen motivasi belajar sebesar 0,826, dan instrumen disiplin belajar sebesar 0,851. Adapun teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis deskripsi dan teknik analisis korelasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kecenderungan prestasi belajar siswa SMK Negeri 1 Pracimantoro dalam kategori kurang yaitu 42,03%. Penelitian ini juga menemukan adanya signifikansi yaitu motivasi belajar sebesar 0,728, disiplin belajar sebesar 0,840, dan prestasi belajar sebesar 0,467. Sumbangan efektif motivasi belajar dan disiplin belajar sebesar 20,1% terhadap prestasi belajar. Dari hasil analisis diketahui terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan dari variabel bebas yaitu motivasi dan disiplin belajar dengan variabel terikat yaitu prestasi belajar. Bagi siswa SMK Negeri 1 Pracimantoro, dapat menggunakan penelitian ini untuk meningkatkan pemahaman tentang motivasi belajar dan disiplin belajar dalam upaya untuk mempertahankan dan meningkatkan prestasi belajar. Upaya yang dilakukan dengan berusaha memperhatikan dan meningkatkan motivasi dan disiplin belajar sehingga dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar. Cara yang dilakukan adalah dengan membaca buku-buku yang berkaitan serta niat diri sendiri untuk meningkatkan motivasi dan disiplin belajar. Kata kunci: motivasi belajar, disiplin belajar, prestasi belajar.

Abstract

Background:English is very important to develop the human resources.  Speaking skill is the most important skill of the four language skills which has to be improved.This research is intended to find out whether there is difference of speaking skill achievement between the students taught by Role Play and those by Story Telling and there is influence difference between the students who have high motivation and those who have low motivation. Method: This experimental study was carried out at SMP 2 Kudus and SMP 1 Kudus. The population of this research is the students of the eighth grade in Kecamatan Kota in Kudus, Central Java in academic year 2013/2014. This research used cluster random sampling in taking the sample. The two instruments were tried out to get validity and reability for the quetionnaire and readability percentage for speaking test. Then the data was analyzed by using multifactorial analysis of variance ANOVA 2x2 and Tukey test. Before conducting the ANOVA test, normality and homogeneity test were conducted.Result: After the data were analyzed, the findings are as follow:  (1) There is difference of speaking skill achievement between the students taught by Role Play and those by Story Telling, Fvalue = 51,512 > Ftabel 4,027. The students who taught by using Role Play have better achievement. (2)  There is influence difference between the students who have high motivation and those who have low motivation, Fvalue = 5,345 > Ftabel = 4,027. The students with high motivation have better achievement. (3) There is influence interaction between Role Play and Story Telling related to motivation, Fvalue = 7,952 > Ftabel = 4.027. Keyword: Role Play, Story Telling, Motivation, Speaking Skill.

Abstract

Background: The research goals to determine the teacher certification process in Widya senior high school Kutoarjo , the impact of certification, the barriers faced by certified teacher in Widya senior high school Kutoarjo , the efforts of  certified teacher educators to improve competence in Widya senior high school  Kutoarjo. Methode: The type of this research is descriptive qualitative research was carried out in Widya senior high school  Kutoarjo, Purworejo, Central Java. Data source is the headmaster, deputy head of curriculum affairs, DPK certified teachers, GTY  certified teachers, secretary of  Widya Educational Foundation, and the students of  XI IPS. Data was collected through observation, interview and recording documents.The results: The certification process should be observed by all teachers that really work well according to the rules. Teachers who complete the certification requirements will follow the participants, followed by the socialization of the Department of Education, charging component portfolios , portfolio assessment, to implementation and acceptance PLPG educator certificate .Impact can be categorized as economically certification can increase the income of teachers, there is an increase in competence is quite good, especially in the administration learning the learning process, trying to learn about information technology and internet media, also the burden on teachers to teach 24 hours per week must be met , as well as the performance of teachers is still low. Barriers often faced by educators certified teachers include school infrastructure is not yet complete, school finance limited budget to improve the competence of teachers, there are teachers who do not want to learn IT based, mental performance and  difficult to change the teacher, students are not familiar technology, the lack of support for the school program, the efforts to be done, among others, the school must complete the infrastructure for teaching and learning activities and to motivate teachers to improve their competence, teachers seek training, education in the field, teachers must learn information technology communications, computers and even the Internet, as well as completing all the administrative learning better teaching and learning, the headmaster is always monitoring the performance of good teachers who are certified or not, school supervisors constantly monitors the certification of teachers especially those who have to do with teacher performance assessment. The existence of teacher competency test conducted by the Central Government in the Ministry of Education and Culture together online and throughout Indonesia with the aim of improving the competence of the teachers there are certified educators . Keywords:   Process, Certification, Teacher, Competency
