Abstract

Keterampilan berpikir kritis mahasiswa dapat ditingkatkan melalui pembelajaran yang tidak bersifat satu arah, akan tetapi menggunakan media komputer yang dipadukan dengan suatu model pembelajaran tertentu. Penggunaan media tersebut dapat berupa model pembelajaran yang berbasis multimedia interaktif. Multimedia interaktif dapat digunakan untuk semua jenis materi  atau konsep dalam pembelajaran fisika. Adapun yang menjadi tujuan dalam penelitian ini  adalah: Untuk mengetahui apakah penggunaan multimedia interaktif dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis mahasiswa kelas X MAN Bireuen pada konsep Hukum Newton. Penelitian dilakukan dengan mengikuti rancangan ekperimen semu one group design. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Semester I Prodi pendidikan fisika Universitas Almuslim yang berjumlah 40 orang. Instrumen pengumpul data berupa tes pilihan ganda yang diberikan melalui uji pre-test dan post-test. Hasil penelitian setelah dianalisis  dengan menggunakan statistik uji-t dengan kriteria pengujian terima Ha jika thitung t(1-α)(dk) dan tolak H0 jika t mempunyai harga-harga lain menunjukkan keterampilan berpikir kritis mahasiswa sebesar 86,95%. Perhitungan rata-rata indeks gain termasuk kategori tinggi yaitu 0,76. Hal ini berarti terjadi peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis mahasiswa semester I prodi pendidikan fisika  materi hukum Newton melalui penggunaan Multimedia Interaktif.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis distribusi: pertanyaan berdasarkan subjek pelaku, pertanyaan berdasarkan tertutup-terbuka, dan pertanyaan berdasarkan jenjang kognitif. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri Lab School  Banda Aceh. Subjek penelitian adalah guru fisika sebanyak tiga orang yang masing-masing mengajar di kelas I, II, dan III beserta siswanya  yang terdapat pada kelas tersebut. Variabel yang dikaji adalah pertanyaan guru dan siswa dalam pembelajaran fisika yang terdiri dari 60 pertanyaan. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi proses pembelajaran dengan menggunakan video. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pertanyaan yang diajukan guru bukan hanya digunakan untuk mengukur kemampuan siswa atau untuk mengarahkan siswa memahami materi yang sedang dikaji. Pertanyaan yang diajukan guru ternyata merupakan pertanyaan tentang pengelolaan kelas. Pertanyaan yang terkait materi menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar pertanyaan guru merupakan pertanyaan tertutup yang menuntut jawaban singkat dan pasti, serta pertanyaan yang menuntut hafalan dan pemahaman (C1 dan C2)

Abstract

This research purpose is to determine significant differences student mastery of the material fluid static and dynamic teacher who taught using flex your brain by not using flex your brain. The population in this study were all students of class XI IA SMA 3 Banda Aceh consists of 6 classes numbered 188 academic year 2013/2014, a sample of which is a class XI IA by two classes totaling 54 people. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling . Analysis of the data using the formula t-test at significance level of 5%. Based on the analysis of the results obtained by t-test = 3.69 and t-table = 1.68. This suggests that there are significant differences student mastery of the material fluid static and dynamic teacher who taught using flex your brain by not using flex your brain in class XI IA SMAN 3 Banda Aceh.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the model-based learning problem solving and concept mapping in electricity and magnetism courses on learning outcomes of students. The study involved 38 students of physical education courses on Education and Teacher Training Faculty Syiah Kuala University Banda Aceh, the group consisted of 24 experimental and 14 control groups. Research procedures using a pretest-posttest control group. Preliminary data collected and the results of student learning with structured essay test techniques. To examine the effect of the application of learning models of problem solving and concept mapping on learning outcomes of students used different statistical analysis on the significant level of 5%. The results of t-test analysis showed that the application of learning models of problem solving and concept mapping effect and can improve student learning outcomes (t = 4.40). So the quality and quantity of student learning outcomes better experimental group compared with the control group students' learning outcomes.

Abstract

The aim of this study was to determine whether there is any effect on the ability of psychomotor students understand the substansi temperature and the heat of the students, describe the activities of teachers and students in learning activities , to determine the ability of teachers to manage teaching and learning activities specific to the skills practice psychomotor grade students X IA - 8 SMA Negeri 1 Banda Aceh . The subjects were students of class X IA - 8 SMA Negeri 1 Banda Aceh as many as 30 students . The instrument used in this study is a written test and observation sheets . Based on the results of data processing of the data concluded that: (1) there is influence between students' mastery of the psychomotor domain of student achievement in physics classes XIA-1 SMA Negeri 8 Banda Aceh temperature and heat content . In other words , the higher the value of psychomotor a student, the higher the student achievement in the subjects of physics, (2) learning the psychomotor domain practice was able to reduce the tendency for the teacher to dominate the learning activities through lectures, and able to bring students to dominate learning activities. The most dominant role of the teacher is to guide students to conduct experiments ( 24.81 % ) , and ( 3 ) learning melatihkan psychomotor domains can increase student activity, the most prominent student activity is conducted experiments (26.88%).

Abstract

The research intends to develop asessment about retention and learning transfer, spesifically,  aims to identify retention and learning transfer of students from differential scheme into physics problems solution; identify students’ difficulties in doing learning transfer from differential scheme into the context of Physics problems. This research used instrument in forms of written test and questionaire. The test is macth questions.  Every match question is consisted of a pure differential question and a physics problem that applies relevant differential concept. It is used Pearson Corelation test to identify learning transfer. Corellation test toward the test, shows that high correlation toward simple and similar match questions. In constrats, it shows low correlation toward difficult match question and needs concept analyisis to construct physics problem into diffetial equation. The correlation indicates learning transfer from differetial equation context into physics problem solutions that utilize differential equation context. There are several factors cause students’ difficulties  in doing learning transfer namely: notation changes, disturbance of wrong assumptions from previous learnt concept, difficulty in constructing physics problem which is stated in narratif form to be solved diffential equation.

Abstract

This study aims to find out the factors that affect the ability of the student teaching Practice Field Experience Elementary Teacher Education the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education on training school. The study population is a student majoring in Practice Field Experience Elementary Teacher Education the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education Syiah Kuala University academic year 2013/2014 which is implementing Practice Field Experience in SD Negeri Kota Banda Aceh total of 106 person. The sample is 15% of the total population is 19 people. The research data captured through documentation and questionnaires. Analysis of descriptive data. The results of data analysis is can be concluded that the factors that affect the ability of the student teaching Practice Field Experience Elementary Teacher Education the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education on the teacher-training school that officials in the activities: preparation of teaching, teacher observation by officials in class, feedback and assessment for learning in the classroom, suggestions for improvement each finished teaching, preparation of media, the opportunity to practice teaching in class, master the subject matter, classroom management, and implementation and management evaluation.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to develop a Technology For Instructional Media To Improve Teacher Professionalism In Design Media Learning High School Physics / MA in Aceh Province. This study uses a design research and development ( R D ) as a design grant. Respondents in the study were high school physics teacher MA in Aceh Province, set sampling with stratified random sampling technique. Media have been developed subsequently tested through experimentation advisability. To collect the data related to the variables studied, used observation, questionnaires and interviews. Before being used in the study, all first validated instruments. To analyze the data used descriptive analysis techniques. Results showed in general physics teacher in Aceh capabilities are adequate teaching methods and the use of ICT -based media based on the media that researchers offer the suitability of the material 95 % of teachers stated accordingly. Instructional media in general appearance by respondent also good although they need no improvement in sound effects and animated video that runs less well, but for the content of the material, the composition of colors, fonts, explanations of terms and use of language is good. Based on the 2013 mengitegrasi ICT curriculum in learning, especially learning physics, physics To get the quality can be increased, then the teachers need to prepare a field study of physics learning tools, learning materials, exercises and ICT -based media as a guide in the learning process.

Abstract

This research is to reveal the effectiveness of the implementation of learning physics using cooperative learning methods giving the question and getting the answer the subject of optical devices on a eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 10 Banda Aceh, an increase or change in learning physics, physics learning outcomes and student response. The subjects were students of class VIII-A of SMP Negeri 10 Banda Aceh was 22 people in the second semester of 2013/2014 study year. Object of this research is the application of cooperative learning method, giving the question and getting the answer. This study is a collaborative action research conducted in 3 cycles. Each cycle consists of phases of planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation, and reflection. Data collection instruments used in this study include: test and non-test forms. Results obtained as follows: (1) the implementation of learning physics in Class VIII-A subject of optical devices by implementing cooperative learning methods giving the question and getting the answer is more effective in terms of time as well as the achievement of student learning outcomes, and favored students, (2) improvement or changes that occur during the learning process associated with learning how to better direction after the applied method of giving the question and getting the answer. Abstract

Research entitled "identifying students misconception about refraction in optic courses at physic department of FKIP Unsyiah" explores students’ misconception. The aim of the study is to identify misconception experienced by students of physic department,  FKIP Unsyiah. The subject of the study is all PGMIPAU students in 2014/2015 which is 5 students. The method used is qualitative descriptive. Data collection is undertaken using diagnostic test technique with CRI (Certainty of response Index) and interview. The data is analysed with basic statistic in percentage form. The research found that the average of LG (lucky guess) is 10.6%, TK (tahu konsep) is 74.6%, TTK (tidak tahu konsep) is 9.3%, and M (misconception) is 5.3%. According to the survey, the students experience misconception in understanding the concept of how the image is formed in lens, such as eyes. The result of the study indicates that the average score of students misconception in refraction topic within optic lessons is low which is only 5.3%compared to conceptually students answer. This is due to a good understanding of concept regarding refraction in optic classes. It is suggested to all lectures to analyse students’ early conception so that we can anticipate misconception early as well as deepen students’ understanding about the concept of reflection.
