Abstract

Soil often caused a lot of problem if the soil has a bad attribute, like expansive soil. Expansive soil has a feature to expand and shrink with a high sweeling. Theres a lot of ways to improve the quality of soil, one of them with addition of a chemical substance. To solve the problem of expansive soil, a research need to be done with menyan stone to be the stabilizer, the aim is to find the influence of the substitution of menyan for expansive soil with the soil shear strength, among cohesion value and shear angle of friction value. The result of the research shows that the substitution of menyan stone has an  impact of  the cohesion and shear angle of friction value. The value increases up to 25% in mix compotition with 21 days treatment. This explains that the menyan stone worthed to be a stabilizer material.Keyword : expansive soil, menyan stone, cohesion, shear angle of friction value.

Abstract

Muara Enim is one of the districts in southern Sumatra. To support the rapid advancement of agriculture in the region is necessary a good irrigation. location field in the village of pandan enim higher than the water source, therefore the need for assistance to waterwheel water into irrigation canals. There should also be planning dimensions to accommodate irrigation water resulting from rain water wheel and the corresponding calculation. Paddy fields in the village of pandan enim enim estuary district has a land area of ​​1500 hectares is rain-fed types. Abstract

Penyebab Banjir terbesar yang terjadi di kota Palembang khususnya yang terjadi di kawasan perumahan adalah karena banyaknya lahan rawa yang direklamasi menjadi daerah permukiman. Salah satu Perumahan sering terjadi banjir di kota Palembang adalah perumahan Bukit Sejahtera. Untuk itu diperlukan analisis tingkat bahaya banjir, dan tingkat kerentanan pada perumahan Bukit Sejahtera, serta analisis tingkat risiko akibat banjir pada perumahan Bukit Sejahtera. Untuk menganalisis tingkat bahaya, tingkat kerentanan, dan tingkat risiko dilakukan dengan cara pemetaan dengan menggunakan aplikasi program ILWIS. Indeks kerentanan infrastruktur (IVI) ditentukan berdasarkan indikator-indikator kerentanan seperti luas bangunan, jumlah penghuni, jenis pekerjaan, kondisi jalan, dan keadaan drainase. Dari hasil running didapatkan luas daerah yang mempunyai potensi bahaya banjir adalah 47.30 % dari luas perumahan Bukit Sejahtera, dan didapatkan IVI rumah maksimum 0.50 dan minimum 0.10, dimana jumlah rumah moderate vulnerability 593, dan low vulnerability 392 rumah. Analisis akhir pada kajian kerentanan adalah analisa risiko dengan melakukan overlay antara bahaya dan tingkat kerentanan infrastruktur perumahan. Dari hasil analisis risiko diketahui bahwa terdapat 592 rumah yang tidak ada risiko, 138 rumah tingkat risiko rendah, dan 255 rumah dengan tingkat risiko yang sedang. Dalam penelitian ini tidak didapatkan rumah yang memiliki tingkat risiko yang tinggi. Kata kunci : banjir, bahaya, kerentanan, indeks kerentanan infrastruktur (IVI), ILWIS.

Abstract

At upland areas erosion often occurwhich is caused by soil erosion due to rainfall kinetic energy and other influences such as  sensitivity of soil erosion , land use , length and slope of river. The purpose of this study is to calculate the erosivity index and determine the amount of erosion in the sub watershed Lematang Hulu , which is a hilly area in South Sumatra. In this study, the model RUSLE ( Revised Universal Soil Loss Equation ) was used to estimate the amount of erosion  caused by kinetic energy that work on the area. The results show the maximum erosion is 5904.146 Tons/Ha/Year,the minimum erosion is 4.168 Tons/Ha/Year, while the average erosion is 2904.157 Tons/Ha/Year. In general, the average erosion rate in the study area is 4,168 Tons/ Ha/Year. Keywords: erosion, RUSLE, erosivity index

Abstract

In the cycle’s,  river will through the process due to the silting of the river bed sediment movement caused by the river flow and erosion. Sedimentation process is part of the process of soil erosion. This activity takes place either due to water or wind. Dawas river have an important role for the community, because the river flows dawas used as a means of public transport locals and surrounding, but it is also used to support the pace of economic growth for the surrounding area. Occurring due to silting in the river dawas, causing disruption of activity surrounding communities, therefore conducted research on the total sediment transport analysis using several methods in order to determine how much capacity the total sediment transport occurring dawas river, The results of this study can be seen the average sediment discharge, using the Yang’s Method get 0.00007532 ton/s,, using the Bagnold’s Methode obtained  0.00007418 ton/s and using the Shen and Hung’s methode get 0.00007 ton/s. Abstract

Runoff is one of the factors that can cause landslides. This phenomenon occurs in  Lematang watershed especially in upstream region. The purpose of this research is to determine runoff that occur in LematangHulu sub-watershed. In the analysis of runoff,  LematangHulu watershed was divided into 5 sub-watershed, namely Sub DAS L Hulu 1 – Sub DAS L Hulu 5. The method used in analyzing this runoff is Rational one. It considers runoff coefficient, the intensity of  rainfall  and catchment area. All parameters runoff’s calculation obtained by using spatial interpretation of satellite images for land use (C),boundary / area in the drainage (A) from analysis of DEM ( Digital Elevation Model ), and the distribution of rainfall intensity (I) using Algebra Average & Mononobe formula. The result show that in Sub DAS L Hulu 3, one of the sub-watershed should receives extra attention because it yields high runoff which is equal to 679,8 m3/s. Abstract

Truss light steel is a modern technology of roof truss made of a thin plate of zinc-alum which is designed by computers and manufactured by machines. Truss light steel can be an alternative choice to support the roof to be able to deal with the extreme weather conditions, not to be distracted from termite attack and to be held longer than truss form wood. From its material, there are some weaknesses of light steel, among other are buckling and deflection occurs, so that a review was made of the failure that will occur in some spans and truss forms.  SolidWorks is a Computer Aided Design (CAD) 3D program using the Windows operating system. SolidWorks program can provide the simulation and compute the forces that arise in structures which designed by using finite element method. The use of SolidWorks program shows the simulation of failure mode that will occur, so it can be the input for the planning and construction of the better light steel. This analysis used the truss of type pratt and howe with theoretical spans 12 m and 24 m at 300 angle. The components used were profile lip channel 75x32.8x7.95 and tek screw formed in SolidWorks program. The results obtained in the SolidWorks program was the failure occurred because of flexural buckling in A6 rod to the entire spans and forms. Truss pratt type was stronger to resist the loads on the theoretical span of 12 m and the  howe type was stronger to resist the loads on the theoretical span 24 m. Abstract

A building should at least be able to bear the loads that work on the structure . Lateral loads such as wind loads and seismic loads that can cause lateral deflection and gravity loads including dead load and live load. The higher the building , the lateral deflection occurs also greater in atas. Structure Engingeer planners are required to better understand the design of earthquake resistant structures that are not just simply follow in designing the building , but must comply with the Earthquake Resilience Planning Procedures for Building a goal is for earthquake resistance of building structures are planned to function properly in designing a building structure must be considered rigidity , stability of the structure withstand any loading imposed on them and how the behavior of the structure to withstand such loads . ETABS is a 3D Extended program of Building Systems of Computer and Structure inc that use the Windows operating system . The use of simulation program ETABS memperlihat pattern collapse was going to happen so it can be input for the planning and construction of high-rise buildings better . In this study will be compared to the horizontal deflection obtained from the comparison position and shape shear walls . Abstract

The construction of developing in Palembang is getting bigger and complicated both in the cost and the time consuming now. For instance, the developing project of SMA Negeri Internasional South Sumatera Palembang, that has the restriction in term of the funishing time. The concept of Earned Value combines the schedule, cost and the achievement, in order to detect the prediction of time and cost to finish a project. This method is also used to detect the earliest out budget that probably happens and the project will probably be late. BCWP, BCWS, and ACWP are the basic indicators that has been a main point to analyse the performance of working based on the concept of Earned Value. This procedure is begun by doing the literature study, tabulating data, observing the project and summarizing the data. The data processing and the final review (week – 13), the value of SPI reaches 1,14 this project has been increasing to 11,347% from the plan target 78,937% and realization of work 90,284% in term of the cost project, CPI is 0,99 means the cost project that has been spending already bigger from the plan. Meanwhile, finishing will be done for 92 days, it means the time is a little faster from the organized schedule for 105 days.Key Words : Earned Value, BCWS, BCWP, ACWP

Abstract

Safety and Health Management System (SMK3) should be noted. It is because of the high number of accidents. The purpose of SMK3 are to create a system of safety and health working in the workplace by involving elements of management, employees, conditions and environment that  integrated in order to prevent and to decrease the accidents and occupational diseases and to create a safe, efficient and productive workplace. The applying of SMK3 at PT. Pupuk Sriwidjaja has been quite better since the applying guidance of SMK3 that is included in the report 1 PERMENAKER has been almost adapted by PT. Pupuk Sriwidjaja. The company had identified and recorded the risk that will be happened to all of the activities in the factory area. It also had communicated the rule and the guide of K3 to the contractors and partners by a meeting, electronic media and bulletin. By spreading a questionare that analyzed by the method of 'scoring' with the result toward the employees 77.75., team of contractor 88,5, team of supervisor 89, team of K3&LH 80.25. The applying of SMK3 to this project's preparation of pusri's field IIB included in the applying category of SMK3 which in fact, quite effective By presenting this evaluation, It's expected ,the company can keep the balance process of SMK3 that had been there so that we can be obtained a safety and healthy place for work so that the  productivity can be  improved.Keywords : accident, SMK3
