Abstract

Mathematics serves as a compulsory subject for elementary pupils. Moreover, it has an excessive frequency of teaching. Therefore, nearly every school hour, pupils learn mathematics. However, most of them always face difficulties in learning it. In fact, some of them hate it. As a result, teachers come to sigh because of their pupils’ difficulties in learning mathematics. The problem is how to solve the problem. This article offers a technique for teaching mathematics through a comic.Kata Kunci: Penggunaan komik, pembelajaran matematika

Abstract

This article deals with Islamic education and modernity in the Middle East. Modern education began to be known in Egypt since the advent of Napoleon Bonaparte in the early 19th century in this country. However, it was in the epoch of Muhammad Ali that the transision from traditional education to modern education began. Abstract

Japanese occupation in Indonesia has made Indonesia not only disadvantagous but also advantaggous country. Because of Japanese imperialism to Indonesia. Indonesia experienced  economic sufferings. However, Japanese political policy was very helpful to the unity of Indonesian Muslim under Islamic Organization, Masyumi (The Syurah Council of Indonesian Muslim). It was in this Islamic organization that Indonesian Muslim had the opportunity of consolidating their political strategy to expel Japanese from Indonesia. Kata Kunci: Pendudukan Jepang, Persatuan Umat Islam

Abstract

This article deals with the functions of a language in a communication act. People communicate using a language to convey their points to others. A communication act contains 1) a locutionary act; 2) an illocutionary act; and 3) a perlocutionary. Therefore, to reflect the above three communication acts, people have to know, first, the communicative functions of a language in order to know how to communicate with others effectively, both in articulating voices, words, and sentences. Abstract

Manusia merupakan makhluk sosial yang selalu harus hidup berdampingan dengan yang lainnya. Namun demikian, perselisihan antara  manusia bisa mengakibatkan pembunuhan yang  tidak dikehendaki. Dalam hal ini, sanksi kisas adalah cara yang dapat digunakan untuk melindungi  manusia dari  pertumpahan darah. Dalam konteks kafir zimmi, jumhur ulama berpendapat bahwa orang Islam yang membunuh kafir zimmi tidak boleh dikisas dengan alasan agamanya tidak sekufu. Abstract

In Arabic, a fa’il is an ism marfu’ that occurs before its fi’il. Some of fa’ils are zhahir and some are mudhmar. A fa’il exists only whenever there is a fi’il. However, there is a fi’il that must be omitted from its fa’il since there is a sign denotes it. A fa’il has seven ahkam. Abstract

Abstract

Today, Moslem women and men have the same opportunity in education and job. This opportunity puts Moslem women in a dilemmatic position in term of performance. On one hand, they have to obey Islamic rules and culture. On the other hand, they have to follow culture development in term of physical performance and relationship with men. Abstract

Curriculum serves as a set of subjects to teach. It functions as a guideline for teachers in educating their students. Therefore, it isvery important to design a curriculum that fits the society’s needs. Nowadays, curriculum of Islamic education faces some problems emerging in society. The reason is that society is very critical in choosing which institution of education it is going to enter for.
