Abstract

There are so many policy alternatives that should be faced by decision maker in industrial manufacturing. In order to determine the policy alternatives, Non Numeric Multi Experts Multi Criteria Decision Making has been chosen to solve the problem. The research purposes is to determine policy alternative priority of production system based on experts point of view using Non Numeric ME-MCDM approach.

Abstract

Inventory system is one of the essential managerial functions because most of companies have a big investment in this aspect. PT Palko Sari Eka as an oil refinery company, uses Crude Coconut Oil as a dominant raw material to its production process activities. An optimal Inventory system is very important to be implemented by the company so that the company can provide product as customer needs and give inventory cost as more efficient.

Abstract

The development of information and telecommunication (IT) industries is very fast in the world, and haves been effected by Indonesian software industry development. The Indonesian software industrial market shares a more growth every year. The growth market demands a readiness of human resource development (HRD). Then, a human resources strategic planning must be needed. Therefore, the human resources strategic planning are hoped to improve human resources development skill, thus software industries have a competitive, advantage not only in local but also in global. Area the result indicates that the strategy conducted to develop human resource in industrial industries are facilities supply and incentive by government in facilities, policy and regulation.

Abstract

Companys current scheduling condition is not optimal since too much additional time/work days exists. Planning and creating a better production scheduling system is needed to minimize production time and reduce the additional time. The CDS scheduling method will find the best makespan by combining existing work stations into two groups of machines. Those two groups are sorted by prioritizing on fastest process time, and then the makespan can be created. Meanwhile the NEH scheduling method looks for the makespan by sorting based on the SPT (Shortest Processing Time) first and then enter the job based on the sequence of each. This research found that the NEH scheduling method is the most appropriate since it obtained a bigger cost saving and eliminates overtime.

Abstract

The article purposes is to know the influence of motivation variable that consist of physiology need, safety and secure working need, social need, reward need, and actualisation need on employee productivity of home industry in Sidoarjo. Beside that, also want to know which variable has the strong influence or dominant on employee productivity. From partial or simultant test, physiology need has the strongest influence among others. That is suitable with the income level of the worker that it is only able to use for primary need.

Abstract

One of the important aspect on plan and production control is the management of inventory. However, a good inventory management is easily implemented, particularly when it involves some probabilistic parameter. There are two important parameters that usually behave probabilistically, those are demand and lead time. To overcome this situation, a simple methodology can be applied by determining an inventory model that can be used as a basic reference even though probabilistic situation exists. One of effective methods to make such a prediction is by using simulation. Among the simulation technique that can be applied are Monte Carlo simulation and Exponential Simulation.

Abstract

PT KSP is a fibrous food product manufacturing companies "Nata De Coco”. Most common problems that arise are shortages or overstocking of products. The purpose of this study is to propose the implementation of Manufacturing Resource Planning system (MRP II). Data is obtained by using forecasting, aggregate planning, capacity requirements planning resources (Resource Requirement Planning), master production scheduling (MPS), MPS validation (Rough Cut Capacity Planning), and Bill of Material to Material Requirement Planning (MPR). Forecasting data are taken from best forecasting results with Linear Regression forecasting method. Aggregate planning is conducted after forecast with least cost analysis, namely the chase method which can be continuously used to MRP. Best forecasting results with the smallest error will be taken from the forecast of the next 3 periods for base calculation of materials. This study concluded that the company can apply MRP II, to ensure steady flow of production and in the process also better in meeting consumer demand.

Abstract

The research discusses the influencing factors for customers in choosinghandphone. Todays globalization era causes handphones as a primary needs for people. New Innovation of handpone technology is created to attract customers interested by handphone industries. However, to attract customers interested to use it, handphone industries need to consider some factors that influence customers in choosing handphone. The result shows some factors that influence the customers in choosing handphone are design, feature, and price.

Abstract

Limited resources in developing small and middle industries in DKI Jakarta have made the growth of these industries to be slow. Small and middle industries must be subsidized by the government and investment companies. The industry itself is a complex system which consists of elements that are related each other so it produces a certain corporate character. Therefore, it is necessary to make a policy pattern of partnership between small and middle industry, government and investment companies. The approach in developing small and middle industries in DKI Jakarta is a system approach which is used System Dynamic tool. The system gives solution to the problem faced by industry by the following steps of problem identification, designing causal loop diagram, model development, simulation, test of sensitivity, and strategic efficiency analysis. The result yielded from the implementation of the dynamic system is to increase the development of small and middle industries in DKI Jakarta by using the pattern of partnership with government and investment companies.

Abstract

Production planning is an activity to make decison amount product that have to be produce for periods. Production planning is devided by into agregat planning and disagregat planning. Agregat planning is planning on Type and Family level, Disagregat planning on end item level. Disagregat planning used in manufacturing process that have some variance product.
