Abstract

The concept of good governance is one of the current paradigm of development inpublic sector that enables to overcome development problems and enables to motivatethe acceleration in achieving the objectives more quickly. This matter particularlyrefers to the rise of development challenges, which must be faced by the state and itsgovernment. It relates to internal demands in terms of the fulfillment of society needs,service improvement, problems handling and solving, and also global challenge interms of the increase of competitive ability.The above-mentioned concept implies that there is a shift of paradigm and con-cept in the state role to fulfill the needs and service to the society from the welfarestate, which gives greater role to the state in fulfilling all the main needs to its citizensthat is burdening and stressing as it creates inefficiency and uneconomical.The concept of good governance implies paradigm that government matters,especially in fulfilling public needs, must be handled together with other domains oflife beside government, namely: domain of entrepreneurs and domain of society.In terms of manpower sector in Indonesia, the concept of good governance hasbeen stipulated as the policy in various matters, such as in expanding employmentand job opportunities, in improving the quality of manpower, in industrial relationsphenomena, and in protecting manpower.This matter is conceptually influenced by the failure in determining the devel-opment choices, particularly the model choices in implementing state administrationin terms of economic, technology and politic. Therefore, development model thatis oriented to human resource is considered to be the most appropriate model inimplementing the concept and the policy of good governance.Keywords: good governance, public services, welfare state

Abstract

PT X is a smartphone retail company that distributing and selling smartphone from China and Hongkong to Indonesia. The length of their supply chain has a big potential risk on getting crushed by incidents that can stop their business process. The potential risk that will affect PT X is the risk of goods lost and broken as distributed from China and Hongkong. The separated distribution method, use of expeditions, and unpredictable weather could endangered those smartphone. Business Continuity Plan proposal for PT X focused on their ability to mitigate risks and incidents that might occur in their supply chain. Based on analysis, there are three options that PT X can apply, its (1) suppliers backup, (2) critical resources arrangement method, and (3) financial management systems. As the condition of PT X at the moment, suppliers back up and critical arrangement method assessed as their top implementable priority. Supported by AHP calculation, the two options chosen by PT X are the best options. Based on accumulation of those three options, option 1, Suppliers Back Up (43%) becomes their first priority with option 2 (35%) option 3 (22%) on their next list. Abstract

In this decade, hospitality is an industry that grows rapidly in Indonesia, notably inBandung. New Sany Rosa Hotel Bandung is among the most popular hotels. Fac-ing tough industry, transformation at this hotel was enforced. The new managementdelivered a change in customer satisfaction valuation, from suggestions or criticsto service quality. The objective is to identify if five dimensions of service qualityimpact the customer satisfaction and which dimension has most influence on cus-tomer satisfaction. Interview was conducted and questionnaires were disseminatedto a hundred guests who stayed overnight. Result indicates that tangibility, empathy,reliability, responsiveness, and assurance have simultaneously and partially affectedthe satisfaction. Abstract

Partnership becomes one of the main asset which used by the enterprise to achievea sustainable competitive advantage. Through the partnership, the enterprise can de-velop their capabilities which cannot be developed by their own. A strategic allianceand joint venture is a popular way used by the enterprises in developing their partner-ship. Some researcher also mentioned about merger and acquisition as another formof partnership but more permanent in nature.This article specifically aim to measure a potency of partnership as a vehicle inincreasing innovation capabilities and technology within an enterprise in their effortto set up competitiveness. Abstract

This paper is the extension study of the relationship between perception of organiza-tion politics (POP), and commitment. This study investigates how trust explained therelation between these relationships. Mediation effect of trust was used to explainhow this perception was related to commitment. Moderation effect was used forfurther explanation on investigation the complexities of these relationships.The result showed that the model was adequacy fit. PoP has negative correlationwith commitment. Trust has fully mediated the relationship between PoP and com-mitment. In order to the moderation, the result showed that employee who has higherof trust was seen stronger POP-Commitment relationship than those who has lowerones.Implication of the findings for organizations and suggestions for future researchare discussed.Keywords: perception of organizational politics, perception of equity, trust, Com-mitment

Abstract

Success or fail in a study at university can be affected by some factors. Entry selectionprocess can be an initial stage in success prediction, up to graduation. Have theentry selection examination detected this appropriately ? Or have other evaluationmechanism within their study set early warning ? These are a focus question in thisarticle.According to academic data of year 1998 through 2006, found that entry selectionexamination give a prediction of success proportion of student finishing theirstudy. Meanwhile their second semester grade point academic gave a significant indicationof the success and failure. And also found that second semester grade pointacademic had a significant contribution for their achievement in first stage evaluationresult at fourth semester.Keywords: logistic regression, correlation analysis

Abstract

Labor productivity is one measure of corporate performance. In this article, the levelof labor productivity is calculated based on the normal time per worker in completingthe work. The level of labor productivity can be affected by demographic factors,such as gender and age. This study aims to analyze the relationship between laborproductivity with demographic factors. This research was conducted at the companyconvection in the Bandung city. The research was done by observing the level oflabor productivity of 12 people, for 3 days, with 6 observations per day. The resultsof the calculation of the index of labor productivity on average by 149.18%, which isabove the average. Productivity index does not have a difference between male andfemale worker. While the variable age has a negative relationship with productivity,but statistically is not significance.Keywords: Labor productivity, demographic factors, productivity measurement.

Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this research are to know reaction of training participant,effectiveness, and efficiency of classical and e-learning training method. By usedthe comparison descriptive research method and the research object is PerformanceBased Budgeting Training Program organized by Budgeting and Treasury TrainingCenter in 2014. The evaluation for training program as obligatory phase to measureeffectiveness training program. The result show that reaction of training participantwith e-learning method higher than classical method. The participant argue thattime used for learn the materials in the e-learning method is more flexible. On theother hand, such reaction is not accompanied by satisfying result. This appearsthe second level evaluation where the e-learning method is considered lower thanclassical method in the level of effectiveness due to the misconducting of materialdelivery techniques in Framing RKA-KL material. Metode yang di-gunakan dalampenelitian ini adalah deskriptif dengan jenis komparatif dengan objekpenelitian Diklat Penyusunan Anggaran Berbasis Kinerja yang diselenggarakan diPusdiklat Anggaran dan Perbendaaharaan pada tahun 2014. Proses evaluasi suatudiklat adalah bagian yang tidak terpisahkan dari penyelenggaraan diklat itu sendiri.Evaluasi merupakan tahapan yang wajib dilakukan untuk mengukur sejauh manatingkat efektivitas dan efisiensi dari penyelenggaraan suatu programdiklat. Berdasar-kan evaluasi yang dilakukan, reaksi positif dari peserta diklat dengan metode diklate-learning lebih tinggi daripada peserta diklat dengan metode diklat klasikal (class-room). Hal ini dikarenakan peserta diklat berpendapat bahwa waktu yang digunakanuntuk mempelajari materi diklat dengan metode e-learning lebih fleksibel. Disisi lain,reaksi positif tersebut tidak diimbangi dengan hasil yang maksimal. Hal ini dapat dili-hat dari hasil evaluasi tahap kedua yang menunjukan bahwa metode diklat e-learning memiliki tingkat efektivitas yang lebih rendah apabila dibandingkan dengan metodediklat klasikal (classroom). Rendahnya tingkat efektivitas diklat dengan metode e-learning, dikarenakan adanya ketidaktepatan penggunaan teknik penyampaian materidalam materi Penyusunan RKA-K/L. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan perbaikan dalampenyampaian materi Penyusunan RKA-K/L dengan menggunakan simulasi secaraaudio visual.Kata kunci: evaluasi, pelatihan, reaksi, efektifitas, e-learning

Abstract

Basically derivative transactions carried out for the divertion of risks that may arise,either the exchange rate risk, interest rate and stock price fluctuations. Derivativetransactions is then evolved rapidly. This increase is due to many benefits and profitsderived from derivative transactions. The benefits in the form of tools for risk man-agement and price discovery, so appear protection (hedging) of assets. The profit isincreasing the income of the. transactors. In fact, derivative transactions more oftenused to make a profit from speculative activities, not for protection (hedging). Nowthe derivative transactions are set out in the Income Tax Act, is inserted into one of theobjects of Income Tax.
