Abstract

This paper is the extension study of the relationship between perception of organiza-tion politics (POP), and commitment. This study investigates how trust explained therelation between these relationships. Mediation effect of trust was used to explainhow this perception was related to commitment. Moderation effect was used forfurther explanation on investigation the complexities of these relationships.The result showed that the model was adequacy fit. PoP has negative correlationwith commitment. Trust has fully mediated the relationship between PoP and com-mitment. In order to the moderation, the result showed that employee who has higherof trust was seen stronger POP-Commitment relationship than those who has lowerones.Implication of the findings for organizations and suggestions for future researchare discussed.Keywords: perception of organizational politics, perception of equity, trust, Com-mitment

Abstract

This study investigates the complexities effect of servant leadership and Work Design of Morgeson’s. This study proposed hypotheses on each dimension of servant leadership behavior and each dimension of knowledge characteristics of work design. This Study collected data from 537 employees from various businesses in Indonesia and Taiwan. The Structural Equation modeling was used to investigate the model of fit. The multiple regressions were also used to test the effect of each servant leadership dimension to the dimensions of knowledge characteristics. This study found that empowerment of servant leadership behavior has an effect to all dimensions of knowledge characteristics, significantly. The service behavior of leader has also significant effect on skill variety of work design. Implication of the findings for organizations and suggestions for future research are discussed.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the extent to which the application of archive learning based on the Kurikulum 2013 conducted by XII students in Office Administration at the SMK Negeri 1 Tepus. This is a evaluative study in which the methods used are Context, Input, Process and Product (CIPP). Data collection is obtained through interviews, observation, and documentation. The data analysis using interactive analysis by Miles and Huberman consists of data collection, data reduction (data reduction), data presentation (data display) and conclusions (conclusions / verification). The results of the study indicate that the implementation of archive learning is considered, starting with preparing syllabus and lesson plans (RPP) so that they can be implemented in the classroom starting from Opening Activities, Core Activities, and Closing Activities. However, in real practice, these activities are considered to be less in line with the implementation of the Kurikulum 2013 because there have been many obstacles felt by teachers, students, and school infrastructure.

Abstract

The aim of this study was to determine the effect of entrepreneurship laboratories (UNY Plaza) on the students’ interest. The research was conducted at the Faculty of Economics, Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta. The questionnaire was used as a data collection tool distributed to 240 respondents. The results showed that the value of t count of 3.489 and t table of 1.6 means tcount > ttable. Then this study succeeded in proving the hypothesis which states that the UNY Plaza entrepreneurial laboratory has a positive effect on the interest of entrepreneurial students of the Faculty of Economics, University of Yogyakarta. Based on the analysis results, 29.6 percent of students' interest in entrepreneurship is explained by entrepreneurial laboratory variables, while 70.4 percent are explained by other factors that are not the focus of research.

Abstract

This study aims to identify: (1) the effect of remittance of Indonesian workers on Indonesia's economic growth from 1998-2018; (2) the effect of Foreign Direct Investment on Indonesia's economic growth from 1998-2018; and (3) the effect of remittances of Indonesian workers and Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) on Indonesia's economic growth from 1998-2018. Based on previous studies found differences in the results of contributions. This study uses a quantitative model using remittances from Indonesian workers and FDI as independent variables, and the dependent variable is economic growth. The population of this study is all secondary data about the percentage of GDP and FDI remittances and the level of economic growth in Indonesia in 1998-2018. Tests conducted are prerequisite tests for multicollinearity, heteroscedasticity, autocorrelation, and multiple regression hypothesis testing using SPSS 21 to measure the effect of independent variables on the dependent variable partially and simultaneously. The results of this study stated that there was no significant effect on the remittance of Indonesian workers and FDI on Indonesia's economic growth from 1998-2018 because the receipt of remittances by Indonesian workers was used by households for food consumption and expenditure, not for investment or to open businesses. Meanwhile, Indonesia's FDI bureaucracy is still inefficient and there is a need for infrastructure development to increase foreign investor interest. In addition, Indonesia is still oriented towards imports rather than exports.

Abstract

This paperinvestigates how work design predicted Performance mediated by personal job Fit. This Study also explored difference of servant Leadership style moderate the model. 407 teachers from several schools in Indonesia were examined. The result indicates personal job fit mediate information processes ofknowledge characteristics related to /n role performance. Servant leadership moderate the relationship between knowledge characteristics and personal job fit, and moderate the relationship between personal job fit and in role performance. Servant leadership also found moderate these two relationships, differently. Implication of the findings for organizations and suggestions for future research are discussed. Abstract

AbstrakPemikiran strategis secara umum didefinisikan sebagai suatu proses mental atau berpikir yang diterapkan oleh seorang individu dalam konteks mencapai keberhasilan dalam permainan atau usaha lainnya. Manajer tingkat menengah seringkali gagal untuk menerjemahkan strategi perusahaan pada tugas strategisnya. Artikel ini memberikan gambaran pendekatan konseptual pemikiran strategis manajer menengah dalam rangka untuk menerjemahkan arah perusahaan ke dalam bentuk strategi operasional. Konsep Strength, Weakness, Opportunity and Threat (SWOT) dan Value, Rarity, Imitability, and Organization (VRIO) dianggap dapat membantu manajer tingkat menengah untuk menerjemahkan strategi perusahaan dengan menggunakan peran sumber daya yang dimiliki dan tingkat kemampuannya dalam bidang kewenangannya.Kata kunci: Pemikiran strategis, manajer tingkat menengah, SWOT, VRIO.
