Jurnal Administrasi Bisnis (JAB) is the biannual scientific journal of Business Administration, published by the Center for Business Studies (CeBiS), Business Administration Study Program, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Parahyangan Catholic University. Jurnal Administrasi Bisnis is issued two (2) times a year, every March and September, which contains essays or research results in Business Administration. Abstract

Empowerment of Human Resources through the correct management procedures to be one way in managing the existing Human Resources. Through the process of Talent Management as a way to identify to recruit, to develop, to retain and to maintain human resources can be managed properly and correctly. The type of research is descriptive research, which aims to describe how the state of the company today, then to conduct the process of identifying how a talent can be managed by the company. Data was collected from observations, interviews, surveys, and data record of directly from the company. Researcher began by looking for ways in which talent can be identified, how to process and how to recruit, develop, and retain employees in the company.The results describe the process of formulating and identifying the criteria of a talent, and how to recruit and select talents, as well as to propose talent development programs, and ways to retain talent. Specifically, this research takes cases for positions in the human resource and human capital divisions.The researcher gives suggestions for Talent Management implementation in the company, starting with the socialization of Talent Management and Talent Management model of Retail X. Furthermore, it is necessary to develop talent criteria formulation, for special competency competencies for positions outside the human resource and human capital divisions. Followed by an assessment and development program for selected talents.

Abstract

ABSTRACTIndonesian people have a variety of hobbies and activities. Today, a hobby that is being cultivated is one of the hobbies related to outdoor activities In carrying out hobbies and outdoor activities, supporting equipment is needed to carry out these activities. Because of this it creates an outdoor business opportunity, one of them is a tactical equipment business. PT. S is one company that sells tactical equipment. PT. S has problems in purchasing procedures, especially in making purchasing decisions. Therefore PT. S requires an information system that is a management control system. The system development process carried out publishes system analysis and system design.The research method used in this study is descriPT.ive analytical. Data analysis techniques use Laudon diagrams, five strength porters, SWOT analysis to analyze external and internal considerations. The Business Challenge Bundle is used to map needs related to the system design needed by PT. S.After determining the system analysis, the system design used by researcher is Business Process Modeling and Notation (BPMN), User Interface, and Decision Tree. Business Process Modeling and Notation (BPMN) to evaluate actual business processes and proposed business process. User interface to help users access information systems. Abstract

Salon Strawberry adalah salon dengan konsep „rumahan‟ yang membuat pelanggan merasa nyaman layaknya melakukan perawatan di rumah. Karyawan salon harus mengingat kebutuhan masing-masing pelanggan sehingga pelanggan puas dan kembali melakukan perawatan berkelanjutan di Salon Strawberry. Akan tetapi hal tersebut menjadi permasalahan apabila karyawan yang bersangkutan tidak hadir dan karyawan lain tidak tahu kebutuhan pelanggan.Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif analitik. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui studi lapangan, wawancara, dokumentasi dan literatur tentang sistem informasi, salon pengembangan bisnis, dan proses bisnis salon. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan BCB, Kerangka MIT 90‟s dan BPMN untuk menggambarkan proses bisnis yang ada dan saran untuk peningkatan proses bisnis Strawberry Salon.Hasil penelitian ini berupa desain sistem pengingat yang dapat diusulkan ke salon untuk memberikan peringatan perawatan berkelanjutan sesuai dengan preferensi pelanggan seperti telepon, SMS atau email. Sistem dibuat dengan mengumpulkan data pelanggan, menganalisis pola pembelian masing-masing pelanggan, pengelompokan pelanggan, dan menentukan metode pengingat yang tepat untuk pelanggan.

Abstract

Niche marketing has not been the first choice for companies in carrying out their marketing strategy. Most companies prefer to fight in the mainstream market even though the opportunities are not very good. Niche marketing has long been implemented by several companies and achieved success, for example, the Apple company when pioneering the PC business. Nowadays, niche marketing is not only done by small companies but also by large companies. Companies aiming at smaller markets are expected to provide a greater chance of success because the level of competition is not as tight as the mainstream market. A smaller niche market makes the company more focus on that specific market.

Abstract

This research attempted to analyze financial performance of PT Trans Power Marine TBK that made initial public offering (IPO) in 2013. The research was done by analyzing the 5 years financial reports (2011-2015) and later compared the company’s financial performance before and after initial public offering (IPO).This research took a descriptive-analysis method. Financial reports were analyzed using financial ratios well known as relative valuation, while difference in financial performance analyzed using non-parametric statistical method “Wilcoxon”.The result from data processing and ratio analysis showed us a degradation in Trans Power Marine’s financial performance. The fact was strengthen by the result of statistical test that show us there was a difference in company’s financial performance before and after initial public offering (IPO)In the last section of this research, a recommendation to keep monitoring company’s performance is given for the company. Keywords – Financial Performance, Financial Ratio, Initial Public Offering, IPO

Abstract

Determination of government regulation number 46 of 2013 on the final income tax for SMEs aims to facilitate taxpayers in calculating the amount of tax to be paid, but the determination of government regulation number 46 of 2013 has not run smoothly, there is still noncompliance indicated by the taxpayer for that regulation, especially among SMEs. This study aims to determine the level of understanding of the rights and obligations of SMEs and final income tax liability in meeting tax compliance. The type of research used in this study is exploratory. Data were collected by conducting interviews and distributing questionnaires to 52 SMEs. The analysis technique used by writer in this research is descriptive analysis.The results of this study show that there is a lack of insight into the rights of SME as a taxpayer. However, SME taxpayers quite understand their obligations a taxpayer and they quite comply with the tax regulations.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe training will provide opportunities for employees to develop existing skills, learn new things so that to improve a good employee performance is certainly needed training. This study aims to investigate the relationship of employee attitude towards training and employee performance at Hotel Grand Royal Panghegar in Bandung. The type of the research used in this study is Rank Spearman correlational. Data were collected by conducting interviews to manager HRD and distributing questioners to 37 housekeeping employee at Hotel Grand Royal Panghegar. Analysis technique that used by writer in this study is descriptive analysis. The result of testing based on hypothesis the variable employee attitude towards training and performance employee Housekeeping Department have significant relationship as evidenced by the value significance t 4,050 > 2,028 (t table), and correlation coefficient > 0.5 – 0.75 which means the employee attitude on training and employee performance have a high relationship level.The conclusion of this study is that better the attitude of employees towards training then the better the performance produced. Within employee training system, the employee performance produced at Hotel Grand Royal Panghegar Bandung is good and in accordance with what is needed by the company.Keywords: training, employee performance

Abstract

Conventional travel agents have declining sales over the past few months. The decline is caused by the number of an online travel agent that has sprung up. Contrary to the decline in the sales of conventional travel agencies, online travel sales continue to increase to date. Although it is well known that the online travel business has the prospect of growing, but there are some things to consider before running a business.Before opening an online travel business, a business feasibility study needs to be done so that this new business can run well. Based on feasibility studies that have been done, it can be seen that the online travel business can be considered feasible. On the legal, technical, and management aspects, all needs can be met by the online travel business. There are emerging market opportunities in the market aspect and determined that its target market is the backpacker segment. In the financial aspect, the business is considered feasible in the optimistic and most likely scenario. In contrast, in the pessimistic scenario, it is not feasible because it does not meet the three criteria of assessment.

Abstract

Dynamic capability is an idea initiated by Teece in 1997 based on the result of discussions with his students in the MBA Program at Stanford and Berkeley. Dynamic capability has been discussed for more than 20 years but dynamic capability has not been a popular study until now. Dynamic capability articles written by several experts are usually presented in terms and languages that are difficult for readers to understand. Some experts even asked and criticized the concept of dynamic capabilitiy. Whatever, dynamic capability can be carried out by a companiy as a way to have a competitive advantage. Company must take three steps according to Teece (2009), namely, sense, seize opportunities, and reconfigure company knowledge, competencies, and resources.
