Abstract

Advertising is the main source of information in decision making. Advertising activity is one of the main promotional tool that is often used to direct communications are persuaded to that is aim. Advertisements may use a lot of media, one is the television media. Celebrity endorser are widely used in magazine ads, as well as a TV commercial to support product. The ads Star (celebrity endorser) move as people are talking about a product that will influence the nature and behavior of consumers who refer to the products that it supports. This research aims to analyze the effect of visibility, credibility, attraction and the power Indomie purchasing decisions on student Unisbank in Semarang. Hypothesis is : Visibility, Credibility, Attraction and Power influential positive and significant to Purchasing Decision, as partially or simultanly.The population in this study are students of Unisbank, Semarang. The sample in this research is student Unisbank of 100 respondents. Type the data is the primary. A method of collecting data using a questionnaire. The techniceque analysis data used in this research is multiple regression. The result of this research showing that, visibility, credibility, attraction and power has significant and positive effect to purchasing decisions indomie as partially and simultanly. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to test the influences of advantage of product, competitive of price and competitive of not price about buying decision Honda motorcycle in Stikubank Semarang University student. SPSS software for data analysis. The result of the analysis showed that advantage of product significant influences about buying decision. While competitive of price and competitive of not price not significant influences about buying decision. This empirical result indicated that in order to increase buying decision should focus on factors such as:advantage of product, competitive of price, and competitive of not price, because its factors proven has influence toward degree of buying decision. Theoritical implications and suggestions for future research have been elaborated at the end of this study.Key words: advantage of product, competitive of price, competitive of not price, buying decision

Abstract

Penelitian ini menguji tentang pengaruh komunikasi, kepemimpinan dan budaya organisasi terhadiap kinerja karyawan pacia PDAM kabupaten Demak. Penelitian ini dilakukan di PDAM Kabupaten Demak. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah karyawan PDAM Kab. Demak yang berjumlah 60 pegawai. Tehnik pengambiian sampei ciaiam peneiitian ini  menggunakan teknik sensus yaitu seluruh populasi dijadikan sebagai sampel penelitian karena jumlahnya hanya 60 pegawai. Berdasarkan hasii uji hipotesis diketahui bahwa uji hipoiesis pertama diterima dimana komunikasi berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja pegawai PDAM Kabupaten Demak, hipotesis kedua diterima dimana kepemimpinan berpengaruh positif  dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai PDAM  Kabupaten Demak,  hipotesis ketiga diterima dimana budaya organisasi berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja pegawai PDAM Kabupaten Demak.Berdasarkan uji koefisien determinasi bahwa menunjukkan bahwa adjusted R Square sebesar 0.640, hal ini berarti 64 % perubahan dari variabel terikat atau kinerja dapat dijelaskan oleh variabel bebas yaitu komunikasi, kepemimpinan dan budaya organisasi sebesar 64% sedangkan sisanya yang 36% dijelaskan diluar model tersebut.Kata kunci : Komunikasi, Kepemimpinan, Budaya Organisasi dan Kinerja

Abstract

Based on observations made at the Office of Surveillance and the Customs and Excise Service Associate Study Holy Excise, efforts to improve the discipline of employees in the Office of Surveillance and the Customs and Excise Service Associate Study Holy Excise has been done one way to cut the State Finance Development Special Benefit (TKPKN). Efforts to further disciplinary action of employees can be done through the behavior of members of an organization (Organization Citizenship Behavior). Abstract

This study is to test the influence of leadership, communication, motivation, and promotion on employee performance. One attempt to improve quality of human resources is a good leadership, communication within the organization is good, high employee motivation and promotions based on employee perfomance. Perfomance assessment is an important factor in determining salary increase and employee career development. In this study, researchers used a validity test to measure the level of test validity and reliability of an instrument to measure the stability of a measuring instrument in measuring a symptom. After testing the validity and reliability, then the next step researchers formulate regression equations. As formulated the regression analysis that is oftenused to predict how big the effect of independent variables on the dependent variable. The result is a variable leadership, communication, motivation, and promotion has a positive value or improve employee performance. This means that the higher the influence of leadership, communication, motivation, and promotion the higher employee performance. This studies have limitations, namely a short sampling period and do not consider other key variables that can affect the perfomance of the employee. Therefore, further research is suggested to consider the other main variables and the time of the study need to be even longer so that it can be generalized. Abstract

PT AST merupakan salah satu organisasi bisnis yang bertujuan untuk memperoleh keuntungan. Di mana perusahaan ini bergerak di bidang produksi barang elektronik. Untuk mampu menghasilkan produk yang sesuai pesanan terkadang PT. AST memerlukan tambahan karyawan karena terkadang jumlah karyawan yang dimiliki belum mampu memenuhi pesanan dari pelanggan. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut mulai tahun 2008 PT. AST melakukan perekrutan karyawan dengan status karyawan kontrak. Perilaku karyawan yang cenderung individulis tersebut kurang mendukung tercapainya kinerja maksimal diindikasikan merupakan perilaku yang berbanding terbalik dengan OCB (Organizational Citizenship Behavior). Setelah lima tahun sejak diberlakukannya system kontrak, perusahaan melakukan evaluasi mengenai kecenderungan rendahnya kinerja dan OCB. Hasil wawancara dengan bagian sumber daya manusia menunjukkan bahwa selain tidak tertanamnya budaya organisasi sesuai yang diharapan manajemen, rendahnya kepuasan kerja serta motivasi kerja diduga menjadi faktor penghambat terciptanya OCB dan peningkatkan kinerja.  Berdasarkan fenomena yang terjadi di PT AST penelitian ini menguji “Pengaruh Kepuasan Kerja, Budaya Dan Motivasi Kerja terhadap  Kinerja Dengan Mediasi OCB (Organizational Citizenship Behavior) Pada Karyawan Kontrak di PT AST”. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh karyawan kontrak PT AST sebanyak 239 karyawan. Dari 239 karyawan diketahui 142 diantaranya adalah karyawan kontrak, dari dari 142 karyawan dietahui terdapat 114 yang memiliki masa kerja 1 tahun (atau lebih) sedangkan 28 lainnya memiliki masa kerja kurang dari 1 tahun saat penelitian dilakukan. Berdasarkan penyebaran terhadap 114 karyawan didapatkan 108 kuesioner kembali namun demikian terdapat 3 kuesioner yang banyak tidak diisi, sehingga didapatkan 105 kuesioner yang selanjutnya dijadikan sebagai bahan analisis. Untuk menguji hipotesis satu penelitian ini digunakan regresi linier berganda. Berdasarkan analisis yang dilakukan penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa: (1) Kepuasan kerja, budaya organisasi, dan motivasi kerja terbukti berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap OCB (2) Kepuasan kerja, budaya organisasi, motivasi kerja dan OCB berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan (3) Kepuasan kerja memiliki pengaruh yang lebih besar terhadap kinerja karyawan bila dibandingkan dengan budaya organisasi, motivasi kerja dan OCB. (4) Variasi perubahan OCB karyawan dapat dijelaskan oleh  kepuasan kerja, budaya organisasi dan motivasi kerja. (5)  Variasi perubahan kinerja dapat dijelaskan oleh kepuasan kerja, budaya organisasi, motivasi kerja. (6)  OCB tidak memediasi pengaruh kepuasan kerja, budaya organisasi, dan motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan Kata kunci: kepuasan kerja, budaya organisasi, motivasi kerja, OCB dan kinerja

Abstract

Penelitian ini ditujukan untuk menguji “Analisa Pengaruh Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) dan Komitmen Organisasional terhadap Kinerja dengan Mediasi Kepuasan Kerja” (Studi pada PT. BPR Nusamba Cepiring). Permasalahan yang ada di PT. BPR Nusamba Cepiring berkaitan dengan adanya indikasi rendahnya komitmen dan kepuasan kerja serta kinerja karyawan. Populasi penelitian ini adalah karyawan PT. BPR Nusamba Cepiring yang berjumlah 121 orang, karena terbatasnya jumlah maka penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan  metode  purposive sampling, diperoleh 116 orang pegawai yang memenuhi kriteria  sebagai responden. Uji hipotesis dilakukan guna mengetahui ada tidaknya pengaruh variabel OCB, Komitmen Organisasional    dan Kepuasan Kerja terhadap Kinerja serta mengetahui ada tidaknya efek    mediasi Kepuasan Kerja pada pengaruh OCB dan Komitmen Organisasional terhadap Kinerja. Berdasarkan hasil analisis disimpulkan bahwa: (1) OCB berpengaruh positif tetapi tidak signifikan terhadap Kepuasan Kerja, (2) Komitmen Organisasional berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Kepuasan Kerja, (3) OCB berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Kinerja, (4) Komitmen Organisasional berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Kinerja, (5) Kepuasan Kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Kinerja, (6) Kepuasan Kerja merupakan variabel mediasi yang lebih mampu untuk menjelaskan pengaruh secara tidak langsung pengaruh Komitmen Organisasional terhadap Kinerja. Kata kunci : Kepuasan Kerja, OCB dan Komitmen Organisasional

Abstract

The company's main objective is to enhance shareholder value through increased prosperity or shareholders. Prosperity shareholders will increase if the share price held up well. In this case, financial management plays an important role in order to maximize shareholder wealth. This study aims to, analyze the influence of the company's performance as intervening variables that mediate the effect of capital structure on firm value in the LQ-45 group companies in Indonesia Stock Exchange. The sample is a company listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) the LQ-45 from 2008 through 2010, in accordance with the criteria established and acquired as many as 19 companies. This study uses path analysis (path analysis) to determine the effect of the performance of the company as an intervening variable that mediates the effect of capital structure on firm value. The results show a negative effect of capital structure and significant impact on firm performance and corporate value. Performance of the company is not able to mediate the effects of capital structure on firm value. Keywords: capital structure, firm performance, firm value

Abstract

This study aims to examine and describe the influence of supervisor support and job characteristics on job satisfaction with the mediation of employee organizational commitment on Social Rehabilitation Center District Municipality Pemalang and Tegal. Research technique used is the census methods. engineering test data used in this study include Test Model Testing, Regression Analysis, Hypothesis Testing and Testing Mediation Effects. The results of the analysis and discussion of this study indicate that the characteristics of the job and employer support has a positive influence on organizational commitment. Job characteristics, supervisor support and organizational commitment have a positive effect on job satisfaction Keywords : job characteristics, supervisor support, organizational commitment and job satisfaction.

Abstract

Today the business world depends on all the funding issues, some experts agree that in order to get out of this economic crisis in the real sector should be mobilized to stimulate economic growth. However, many obstacles faced by the business, one of the most crucial is the problem of funding. The business world suffered a setback due to the credit crunch - credit given to the business regardless of the legal lending limit in the past by banks and credit worthiness issues approved. Therefore, both the management and the creditors are supposed to determine the factors associated with these funding issues. By knowing the factors that affect the capital structure is expected to be taken into consideration for management evaluation.
