Abstract

This study aims to examine and describe the influence of firm size (size), asset growth (growth of assets), profitability (profitability) and the structure of assets (asset structure) of the capital structure (capital structure) to the manufacturing company went public on stock exchanges Indonesia. Research technique used was purposive sampling method. Mechanical testing data used in this study include classical and Assumption Testing Normality and Regression Analysis. The analysis and discussion of this study indicate that the variable size and assets structure proved to be positively and significantly to the capital structure variable, the variable growth of assets not proven to have positive and significant impact on capital structure variables and variable profitability and significant negative effect on capital structure variables. simultaneously the size, growth of assets, profitability and assets structure significantly influence the capital structure. Abstract

This study examines the effect of assets structure, growth, profitability, risk and firm size to leverage in manufacture companies. The population of this research is 140 manufacture company which its listed in Indonesian Stock Exchange period 2008-2010. Sampling technique used here is purposive sampling on criterian the company that listed in Indonesian Stock Exchange 2008-2010 and represent their finacial report period 2003-2010, continually have debts during period 2008-2010, continually have operating income during period 2003-2010, and continually have operating income before tax during period 2008-2010. The data is obtained based on Indonesian Capital Market Directory (ICMD) period report 2003-2010. It is gained sample amount of 57 companies. The analysis technique used here is multiple regression with the least square difference and hypothesis test usingt-stastitic to examine partial regression coefficient and F-statistic to examine the mean of mutual effect with level of significane 5 %. This research result that assets structure, growth, and risk gives posititive not significant effect on leverage, while profitability gives negative significant to leverage. Firm size has negative not significant to leverage. Simultaneously assets structure, growth, profitability, risk and firm size proof significantly influent leverage in level less than 5 %.   Keywords : assets structure, growth, profitability, risk, firm size and leverage

Abstract

The objective of this research is to determine any factors affecting to the stock return. This research uses debt to equity ratio, dividend payout ratio, ownership and liquidity (current ratio) as a proxies of independent variable. Stock return uses actual return from closing price end of December of current year and three days after Income Statement publishing. The samples of the research are listed companies in manufacturing industries that actively trading between 2008-2010 in Indonesian Stock Exchange. The sampling method used is purposive sampling and the results are 45 companies according to the criteria of the sample. The test used are : Regression Analysis. The research finds that debt to equity ratio (DER) dan dividend payout ratio (DPR) have a positive and significant effect to the stock return. The other factors :Ownership and Liquidity do not have any impact to the stock return. In general, it’s discovered that all of the factors have weak influence in explaining stock return variation, which means that stock return mostly determined by other various factors. Abstract

The objective of this research is to analyze the effect of discipline and locus of control on the performance of employees with motivation as mediation. The research methodology used is quantitative explanative with a path analysis model, to test the coefficient of determination, and looking for a correlation coefficient. The research was conducted at the General Hospital Batang, with a sample of 148 employees. Sampling using purposive sampling method sampling with specified criteria. The results of this research are as follows: (1) Disciplinary has direct effect and significant on work motivation; (2) Locus of control has direct effect  and a significant on work motivation; (3) Disciplinary has direct effect  and significant on employee Performance; (4) Locus of control has a direct and significant impact on employee performance, and Locus of control also has an indirect effect on employee performance through the mediation of Work Motivation; (5) Work motivation has a direct and significant impact on employee performance. Therefore, employee performance improvement can be done through increased discipline, locus of controll, and work motivation. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine and analyze whether there is influence of Job Stress and Leadership Style on Job Satisfaction with mediation motivation. the Regional Secretariat Batang. Engineering test data used in this study include validity, reliability testing, regression analysis, Model Test (Test F and R2) and the mediation test to prove the research hypothesis. Data collected was tested for validity by factor analysis method and tested reliability with coefficient alpha (Cronbach alpha). The data is valid and reliability test results showed the number 0.928 to the variable Job Stress, 0,880 for Leadership Style variable, 0.916 to 0.931 for the variable Motivation and Job Satisfaction variable. The results of the analysis and discussion showed that the negative effect on Occupational Stress Motivation, Leadership Styles positive effect on motivation and motivation is not proven to mediate the effect of Job Stress and Leadership Style on Job Satisfaction. Abstract

This study is performed to examine the effect of profitability, institutional ownership, insider ownership, and liquidity toward company value  in companies that is listed in BEI over period 2009-2011. Sampling technique used here is purposive sampling on criterion (1) the company that trade their stocks in Indonesian Stock Exchange; (2) the company having insider ownership per December 2009-2011; and (3) the company that continually share their profit per December 2009-2011. The data is obtained based on Indonesian Capital Market Directory (ICMD 2012) publication.  It is gained sample amount of 93 companies from 129 companies those are listed in BEI. The analysis technique used here is multiple regression with the least square difference and hypothesis test using t-statistic to examine partial regression coefficient and f-statistic to examine the mean of mutual effect with level of significance 5%. In addition, classical assumption is also performed including normality test, multicolinearity test, heteroscedasticity test and autocorrelation test. During 2009-2011 period show as deviation has not founded this indicate clasiccal assumption that the available data has fulfill the condition to use multi linier regression model. Empirical evidence show institutional ownership and insider ownership to have influence toward company value at level of significance less than 5%. Abstract

This research aim to analyze the influence of Net Interest Margin (NIM), Non Performing Loan (NPL), Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Cash Ratio (CR), Loan To Deposit Ratio (LDR), Kualitas Aktiva Produktif (KAP) on the financial performance (ROA) of the general banking in Indonesia. Samples of this research was taken in the 71 banks which publishing  financial report from 2007 up to 2010, the data analyzed by multiple regression test whith normality test and the assumption of casssical test by multicollinerrity, autocorrelation and heteroscadasticity than hypothesis test by f-test and t-test, also test of coefficient determinations. The results is known that variable NIM, CAR, KAP has positive significant influence to ROA than NPL, CR has negative significant influence to ROA and variable LDR hasnegative  not significant to ROA at 5% confidence level. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine and analyze the effect of compensation and organizational culture on performance by mediating organizational commitment and job satisfaction of nurses. In this study, the population was all nurses inpatient in the Civil Hospital X Tegal City. The sampling method using purposive sampling. Retrieval of data using questionnaires. Tests conducted by the research instrument validity and reliability, statistical test equipment being used is multiple regression analysis, R2 test and t-test, to test the significance of regression coefficients generated. The results showed that compensation is positive and significant effect on affective commitment, job satisfaction and commitment continuants, but had no effect on performance. Organizational culture of innovation and risk-taking has positive influence on affective commitment and performance. Results-oriented organizational culture has a positive effect on job satisfaction and performance. People-oriented organizational culture has a positive effect on job satisfaction. Affective commitment and commitment continuants positive effect on job satisfaction but had no effect on performance. Job satisfaction has a positive effect on performance. Affective commitment, job satisfaction and commitment continuants is purely capable of mediating variables to explain the effect of indirect compensation to performance. Affective commitment and job satisfaction are not able to explain the indirect effect of organizational culture of innovation and risk-taking on the performance of nurses in hospitals X Tegal City. Abstract

Target of this research to analyze Price Book Value to influence (PBV), Earning per Share (EPS), Price Earning Ratio (PER), rate, rate of interest and inflation to share return. Pursuant to the mentioned hence this research take title ”Pengaruh Kinerja Pasar Dan Makro Ekonomi Terhadap Return Saham (Studi Empiris Pada Perusahaan Manufaktur Yang Terdaftar di BEI Tahun 2008-2011)”. Population in this research is manufacturing business which enlist in Effect Exchange Indonesia during year 2008 until year 2011 amounting to 153 company. In election of sample done with sampling purposive method with manufacturing business criterion which enlist in BEI before year 2005 and compile annual financial statement by successively year 2008 - 2011 is so that obtained by counted 88 company. Pursuant to result of research which have been done by hence can know by Price Book Value to (PBV) have an effect on positive and significant to share return. Earning per Share (EPS) have an effect on positive and do not significant to share return. Price Earning Ratio (PER) have an effect on positive and do not significant to share return. Rupiah rate to dollar have an effect on significant and negativity to share return. Rate of interest have an effect on do not significant and negativity to share return and Inflation have an effect on positive and do not significant to share return. Abstract

Target of this research to test influence personality of motivation and lecturer to lecturer performance with mediation by satisfaction work lecturer in is Polytechnic of Navigation Semarang. Pursuant to the mentioned hence this research take title ”Pengaruh Kepribadian Dosen Dan Motivasi Kerja Terhadap Kinerja Dosen Dengan Dimediasi Oleh Kepuasan Kerja (Studi Kasus Pada Dosen  Politeknik Ilmu Pelayaran Semarang)”. In this research take Polytechnic Lecturer population of Navigation Semarang amounting to 93 people with sampling census method technique taking all existing population. Used by data is primary data and data analysis use doubled linear regression. Pursuant to result of research which have been done by hence can know by personality have an effect on to satisfaction of job, motivation have an effect on to satisfaction of job, personality have an effect on to lecturer performance, motivation have an effect on to lecturer performance and satisfaction of job have an effect on to lecturer performance. Satisfaction work personality mediation to lecturer performance because indirect influence bigger than at direct influence and satisfaction work mediation motivate to lecturer performance because indirect influence bigger than at direct influence.
