Abstract

The purpose of this study to determine the test several varieties of peanut (Arachis hypogaea  L.) against organic fertilizer fish, using a plot design Divided (RPT) which consists of two factors, namely, varieties factor (V) as the main plot that consists of 2 levels : V1 = varieties Elephant, V2 = varieties rabbits and Fish fertilizer factor (I) as a subplot which consists of 4 levels: I0 = Without fertilizer application (control), I1 = 10 tonnes / ha = 1 kg / plot, I2 = 30 ton / ha = 3 kg / plot, I3= 50 tonnes / ha = 5 kg / plot, and one each in repeat three times. The parameters observed among others: plant height (cm), number of branches (branch), number of pods per plant samples (pods), number of pods per plot (pod), seed weight per plant sample (g), seed weight per plot (g ), and the weight of 100 seeds (g). The results showed that the factors giving Variety shows Elephant better varieties of varieties Rabbits of all parameters were observed. As for the factors giving the best Organic Fertilizer Fish on giving I2 = 30 tonnes / ha = 3 kg / plot.Keywords: Variety, Fertilizers Fish, Peanut, Growth, Production

Abstract

The research to determine the role of lipase of rice bran as a catalyst in the reaction gliserolisis palm kernel oil and RBD Stearin has been carried out. Process glysrolysis was done by mixed glycerol: palm kernel oil: RBD Stearin with a mole ratio 1: 1: 4, 2: 2: 4, 3: 3: 4 and 4: 4: 4. Further results of gliserolisis by determination of monoglyseride content and the highest yield  monoglycerides characterized by FT-IR. The results showed that the enzyme lipase from rice bran can be used as catalysts in the reaction mixture monoglycerides glyserolysis forming compound at a ratio of 2: 2: 4, namely 8.9% and FT-IR analysis shows the presence of OH groups in the wavelength range of 3500 cm‑1.Keywords: rice bran, lipase, catalyst, monoglyseride, palm oil

Abstract

The aim of this study was to determine the effect of urea fertilizer and cow manure to increase crop growth aloe (Aloe vera L.). This study was conducted in farmer group Advanced Together Hamlet IX Saentis Village, District Percut Sei Tuan, Deli Serdang implemented in the month of January 2015 until April 2015. The parameters measured were plant height (cm), number of leaves (pieces), leaf length (cm), stem diameter (mm), leaf thickness (mm), leaf weight (g) , This study uses a randomized block design factorial with two factors, ie dose of Urea (N0 = 0 g / polybag (control), N1 = 3 g / polybag, N2 = 6 g / polybag, N3 = 9 g / polybag) and Dose Manure Cows (K0 = 0 g / polybag (control), K1 = 150 g / polybag, K2 = 300 g / polybag, K3 = 450 g / polybag) treatment was repeated three times. Data were analyzed using analysis of variance followed by different test Mean according to Duncan (DMRT) at 5%. The results showed that doses of urea effect on plant height, number of leaves, leaf length, stem diameter, leaf thickness, and weight of the leaves. While cow manure on the growth of the aloe vera plant has no effect on all parameters were observed. There is no interaction between the provision of urea fertilizer and cow manure for all parameters observed.Keywords : aloe vera growth, urea, cow manure

Abstract

Economic development is increasingly pushing human necessities of life so that agricultural development is directed to agribusiness activities. As the Government of the city of Medan set area agribusiness and one of them is Medan Marelan flagship commodities with vegetable soup. The study aimed to find out how the economic diversity  and marketing pattern of vegetable farmer. Sample research are farmers vegetable soup in Medan Marelan taken in purposive sampling. Note the average age of respondents 57 years of age, educational level or equivalent to 8 years class II middle school (Junior High School), the number of members of the family of 4 people, the experience of the farmer of 12.8 years, extensive farm farmer 800 m2 as for the respondent's own tenure with 26 respondents and land annual rent 14 respondents.Types of vegetables planted are spinach, Kale, mustard greens, sweet Pakchoy, Kai-and long beans. Financially is known to the average farmer cost IDR 4,957,750 average total acceptance of farmer respondents from all commodity vegetable is IDR 13,472,102 and the average profit earned farmers at one time production of vegetables is IDR 8,514,352 Vegetable marketing agencies in the know:a). Abstract

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the response of organic fertilizer granules (POG) and pruning on the growth and production of watermelon (Citruluss Schard vulgaris). This research use Random Divided (RPT) consisting of two factors namely Pruning studied (P) as the main plots and Organic Fertilizer granules (G) as a subplot, for this study using two factor without trimming (P0) and pruning (P1 ), for a dose of organic fertilizer granules are G0 (without treatment), G1 (1.5 kg / plot), G2 (3 kg / plot) and G3 (4.5 kg / plot), there are 8 combination treatment was repeated 3 times produce 24 units experiment with a whole number of plants per plot 384 plants where 5 plants with plant samples 3 plants and has 72 plant samples to the whole. The parameters observed were plant height, flowering age, harvesting age, number of fruit crops, the number of perplot fruit, fruit diameter planting, planting fruit weight, fruit weight perplot. The results showed that treatment without pruning significant effect on the number of fruit per plot, while pruning effect on growth of watermelon on the largest fruit diameter 45.10 cm while for the production of more 10.25 fruit without pruning. Organic fertilizer granules while not affect the growth of watermelon, while the largest fruit production 46.44 cm, 2.97 kg and the heaviest pieces of fruit per plot toughest 21.43 kg. Interactions between factors organic fertilizer granules (POG) and pruning showed significantly different results.Keywords: pruning, organic fertilizer granules (POG), watermelon production and growth

Abstract

The aim of this study was to determine the effect of socio-economic factors (age, capital, experience, number of dependents and level of education) against income women vegetable vendors and to find out how much revenue the woman vegetable vendor to total household income. The study's hypotheses were tested using multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS. Results showed that simultaneously (synchronously) no influence of age, capital, experience, number of dependents and level of education on income women vegetable vendors. Partially capital and experience affect the earnings of women vegetable vendors, while age, number of dependents and level of education no effect. Income women vegetable vendors contribute fairly high on household income that is equal to 58.47 percent.Keywords: Women Vegetable Vendors, Household Income

Abstract

The research of the effect bio-organic fertilizer ABG on the growth and production of sweet corn (Zea mays saccharata Sturt) has been carried out by using a randomized block design (RAK) factorial with 2 factors and 3 replicates, namely: bio-organic liquid ABG fertilizer (A), compost (K) with a combination of treatments. The analytical methods used to conclute from the analysis of data using linear mathematical models. Observed parameters: plant height, stem diameter, number of leaves, leaf area, weight of cobs per sample and the length of the cob. ABG fertilizer application had no significant effect on all parameters were observed. Giving compost significant effect on plant height, number of leaves, leaf area and length of the cob, but did not significantly affect the stem diameter and weight of fruit per sample. Interaction ABG and compost fertilizer treatment had no significant effect on all parameters were observed.Keywords: bio-organic fertilizer, growth, production, corn

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat zeolit alam ukuran nanopartikel sebagai pengisi pada foam poliuretan. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh terhadapjenis zeolit alam sarulla adalah mendekati zeolit jenis Mordenit. Karakterisasi yang dilakukan adalah kandungan alam pada zeolit alam dengan menggunakan Difraksi Sinar-X dan morfologi nanozeolit alam dengan menggunakan Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM). Hasil diffraktogram dari zeolit alam yang diperoleh mempunyai intensitas terbesar pada sudut 2 theta sekitar 29,76; 23; 27,92, sedangkan hasil SEM menunjukkan bahwa permukaan nanozeolit alam yang terbentuk adalah sangat halus dengan pori-pori yang sangat kecil sehingga dapat dijadikan sebagai pengisi (filler) pada pembuatan foam poliuretan.Kata Kunci : Nanozeolit, foam poliuretan, dan sarulla

Abstract

The aims og this study was to investigate the response of several varieties and bio-organic fertilizer application on the growth and production of watermelon (Citrullus vulgaris Schard). The design used was a factorial randomized block design (RAK-F) with the two factors studied, namely: Factor watermelon varieties (V) consists of a 3-stage treatment that V1 = Varieties Sun Dragon F1, V2 = Varieties Funggawa, and V3 = Varieties Sire F1. Factors giving bio-organic fertilizer (B) consists of 4 levels ie B0 = Without treatment, B1 = 2 cc / l of water, B2 = 4 cc / l of water, and B3 = 6 cc / l of water. The parameters measured were plant height, days to flowering, number of fruits per plant, number of fruit per plot, weight of fruit per plant, fruit weight per plot.The results showed that administration of watermelon varieties can have real impact on the parameters of plant height 2MST. The best varieties are V2 = Variety funggawa. Organic bio fertilizer application significantly affected the parameters of age start flowering, number of fruits per plant, number of fruit per plot, weight of fruit per plant and fruit weight per plot. Concentration of bio-organic fertilizer is best to B3 = 6 cc / l of water. The interaction between varieties and the provision of bio-organic fertilizer giving real effect on plant height parameters 2 MST.Keywords: response, growth, bio-organic fertilizer, watermelon

Abstract

The aim of this study was to determine the content of phenol in the liquid smoke palm kernel shells produced at a temperature 600ᵒC, 700ᵒC, 800ᵒC. Pyrolysis process was carried out by using a furnice that surrounding covered with fire-resistant white cement so that the smoke does not escape into the air and liquid smoke produced more leverage. Temperatures used 600ᵒC, 700ᵒC, 800ᵒC use with condenser-type spiral coil number of turns 30. Liquid smoke produced in deposited for 7 days and in the centrifuge with a rotation speed of 3800 rpm for 60 minutes, filtered and distilled at 125ᵒC temperature for 60 minutes. Liquid smoke analyzed (characterization) using GC-MS and phenol identified for each temperature 600ᵒC is 35.09%, the temperature 700ᵒC is 37.962% and 37.494% temperature 800ᵒC is.Keywords: Liquid Smoke, Phenol compounds, GC-MS
