Abstract

ABSTRAKPerkembangan teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi (ICTs) melahirkan formasi sosial dalam bentuk budaya digital. Bentuk komunikasi yang lahir dari era ini merujuk pada model CMC (computermediated communication). Gangguan komunikasi yang selama ini hadir karena adanya perbedaangeografis dan praktis budaya serta afiliasi ekonomi, politik dan sosial dapat diatasi dengan pertemuanpertemuandalam forum-forum virtual. Bentukruang masyarakat tanpa sekat ini–sering disebut dengan cyber space- melahirkan bentuk, model dan komunikasi yang idiosinkratik ala komunitas internet. Penggunaan ruang-ruang digital tersebut dimanfaatkan dalam berbagai dimensi seperti ekonomi (cyber marketing), politik (cyber campaign) pun dalam aktivitas sosial dan kedermawanan (filantropi).Salah satu kegiatan kedermawanan yang dilakukan oleh para perempuan (motherhood philanthrophy)diinisiasikan dengan menggunakan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine how the meaning of the look and content of the online game “Garuda Mas”. This game contains aspects of politically charged designations so that it can become a propaganda technique. The subject of this study is the game “Garuda Mas” which has been input on social media Facebook.Methods of data collection using documentary and literature. Data analysis using descriptive techniques. Data validity checking techniques using triangulation source.The results showed that the game “MAS GARUDA” can form the perspective of the players against Mas Garuda as a superhero figure hopes the Indonesian people who are able to overcome all the problems that exist in Indonesia. This game is a form of creative campaigns using propaganda techniques inserted in the game that has the power to change the mindset of every player. Change of mindset occurs because the player did not have an opportunity to think critically on aspects marking contained in the game. By indirectly the players will feel the emotional of this game and assume characterizations “Garuda Mas” in this game is a truth that can be believed.Keywords: Descriptive, Online Games, Mas Garuda, Partai Gerindra

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis research was conducted in District of Babadan Regency of Ponorogo East Java Province, to 62 chilli farmers and cattle farmers selected by simple random sampling. The purpose of this research is to know the influence of video usage and video message packaging elements to farmer perception about Trichokompos production and usage. The research design is One-Shot Case Study, independent variable used is narration, material, picture, music, time, and text, while the dependent variable is farmer perception on making and using Trichokompos. Information gathering on this is obtained through a structured questionnaire. Influence of video packaging element was analyzed by multiple regression statistic test, while farmer perception toward Trichokompos was analyzed using class interval model. The results showed that the perception of farmers about the making and use of Trichokompos influenced by independent variables of 52.1%, and the influence of instructional video message design partially indicates that the narrative, material, image, music, and text variables significantly influence farmers’ and the use of Trichokompos. However, time variables do not significantly influence farmers’ perceptions. Meanwhile, the perception of farmers about the making and use of Trichokompos shows that as many as 36 respondents or 58.1% claimed to receive Trichokompos innovation and perceived that the making and use of Trichokompos characteristic of innovation in accordance with that required by farmers, have the advantage, easy to apply by farmers, and materials standard available.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini ingin mengetahui peran public relations dan metode pendekatan public relations BPWS dalam menghadapi resistensi masyarakat Madura di Kabupaten Bangkalan terhadap kehadiranlembaganya. Dengan mengkaji peran dan model pendekatannya, diharapkan dapat mengetahui jugabagaimana public relations BPWS mengatasi manajemen krisis. Karena jika perbedaan kepentinganantara BPWS dengan masyarakat Madura terus dibiarkan, bukan tidak mungkin masalah ini akanmenjadi krisis berkepanjangan yang mengancam eksistensi BPWS. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kulitatif, metode ini lebih menekankan pada kedalamanyang diteliti (kualitas) data yang telah di peroleh, bukan pada banyaknya (kuantitas) data. Teknikpengumpulan data mencakup informan atau narasumber yang paham dan terlibat secara langsungdalam kasus ini. Pengumpulan datanya menggunakan data primer dan skunder. Teknik analisis datamenggunakan teknik analisis data kualitatif, untuk validitas datanya menggunakan triangulasi datadan triangulasi sumber. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, Peran public relations dalam menghadapi resistensi masyarakatMadura di Kabupaten Bangkalan terhadap BPWS lebih berperan sebagai fasilitator komunikasi.Model pendekatan yang diterapkan adalah model public relations pengaruh personal (personalinfluence model) yang di kategorikan kedalam model publik relations asimetris dua arah. Tahapantahapanmanajemen krisis untuk mengatasikasus ini, terdiridari tiga tahapan.Yaitutahapanprakrisis,meresponkrisis, dan pasca-krisis.Kata Kunci: Manajemen Krisis, Public relations BPWS, resistensi masyarakat Madura di KabupatenBangkalan.

Democratization in every aspect of life as well as the impact of the demandsof the process of political change is considered positive or negative impactfor changes in society, especially for developing countries, which are intransition to developed countries to be desired, which characterized theopenness of society. A country that is also expected to provide assurance andcompliance for penyejahteraan society (welfare state). Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study attempts to explore how the reception of the audiences after watching Preman Pensiun (PP) soap opera, a comedy soap opera by Aris Nugraha which has aired up to three series. The problematization of this study comes when PP soap opera raises a question, how do audiences’response in the city other than Bandung? This study tries to understand how receptive thugs who are retired or ex-thugs after watched PP soap operas in their daily lives. For data collection, researchers conducted in-depth interviews after approaching three informants as former thugs in Yogyakarta. The result of this study is the communication of former thugs in daily life after they  have constructed and reproduced values adopted from PP soap opera. Last, PP soap opera gives pleasure for the ex-thugs in providing entertainment, but also it gives ironic pleasure and paradoxwhen they feel away with the pleasure.

Abstract

ABSTRACTPenelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui dan menjelaskan pengaruh promosi melalui media sosial dan word of mouth terhadap keputusan pembelian konsumen di kedai Bontacos baik secara parsial ataupun simultan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Sampel penelitian ini adalah 100 konsumen kedai Bontacos dengan menggunakan metode non probability sampling serta teknikaccidental sampling. Instrumen penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner dan dianalisis menggunakananalisis regresi berganda.Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa promosi menggunakan media sosialdan word of mouthsecatraparsial dan simultan memiliki pengaruh terhadap keputusan pembelian.Penelitian ini memberikankonstribusi bagi Pemasar kedai Bontacos terkait strategi promosi di media sosial dan word of mouthyang efektif.Kata kunci : Promosi, media sosial, word of mouth, keputusan pembelian

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan di kawasan Kampung Ampel Semampir Surabaya yang multikultur. Wilayah ini sejak lama sudah dikenal sebagai wilayah dengan keragaman etnisitas, budaya yang tinggi. Jenis penelitian adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik  pengumpulan data melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa di wilayah ini terjadi relasi antaretnis yang intens antara tiga etnis disana, yaitu Arab, Jawa dan Madura. Masing-masing etnis memiliki persepsi yang berbeda terhadap etnis lainnya baik yang positif maupun negatif. Pesan verbal nonverbal juga terjadi dalam interaksi antaretnis dengan beragam pemaknaan sesuai dengan latar belakang budaya masing-masing. Hal ini tidak jarang menimbulkan friksi dan pertentangan antarwarga.

AbstractCommunication strategy as an activity or communication campagne used toinformation or persuades to build understanding and forced an idea or cases,product or service that is planned. Batam tourism increasing is by Visit Batam. One strategy would be communicated by the Department of Tourism and Culture Batam namely Arrangement and Infrastructure Improvement. The approachused in structuring and improving the infrastructure and the revitalization ofJodoh and Nongsa structuring, development and upgrading of roads Batamcity, and the management and urban utility increasing. This research as aqualitative research with descriptif-case study approaching. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatifdengan pendekatan studi kasus yang bersifat deskriptif.
