Abstract

This research discusses the measurement of the relative efficiency of the supplier’s performance using Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) . The supplier’s perfor-mance variable is modificated from research . Input variable is the total purchase price. The out-put variables are the ability to fulfill the order quantity, the quality of shrimp, delivery performance, and supplier’s track record. There are 10 suppliers used in this research. 4 suppliers have good performance (efficiency score = 1) are B, C, D, and F. The best supplier is D who has 1.21 super efficiency’s score.

Abstract

The research in corrosion rate and mechanical properties for submerged arc welding of Steel construction through heat treatment, was done to study the effectiveness of the use of Post-Weld Heat Treatment (PWHT) using flame oxy aceteline. Its used for reducing the residual stress which may cause reduction in corrosion of resistance. Based on the study, it can be concluded that the release of residual stresses in submerged arc welding by PWHT can reduce current densities up to 43.88 μA/cm2 at the specimen T300, and also reduce the rate of corrosion that sea water by concentration of 3.3% NaCl. The slowest of corrosion rate occurs in spesimen T300, i.e. 0.311 mm/year compared to the TT specimen that has corrosion rate of 0.377 mm/year. In general, the microstructure of a welding is ferrite of grain boundaries that form structure of the pillar (columnar) with acicular ferrite be inside the columnar grains. The specimens T300 reached optimum hardness value 222.240 VHN but get the lowest value of tensile strength i.e only 54.5 kg/mm2.

Abstract

The high demand and limited availability of meat meat on the market, making the price of meat to be expensive, and more and more traders are mixing meat rotten meat into fresh meat. To avoid the risk, the public as consumers must beware and know the characteristics of rotten meat and the difference with the fresh meat. This research developed a tool detection fresh meat using RGB color sensor TCS3200-DB. Instrument works by measuring the composition of the RGB color in meat is identified and compared with the composition of the reference RGB color of fresh meat. The study begins by taking the composition of the RGB color of fresh meat samples as reference. RGB color composition is then recorded in the main program listing in the microcontroller. The instrument works by comparing the RGB color composition in meat detected by the reference RGB color composition. The microcontroller will determine the power of RGB color values ​​identified meat and then display it via an LCD. The results of this study indicate that fresh meat, G and B values ​​are closer to each other, respectively 3-38 and 3-29 to 4-27 and 4-25 G and for B the only difference being the value of R, which is the largest value of R is 58.

Abstract

Various irregularities among learners such as drugs, fights, and free sex show low values ​​of life (living values) learners. Learning physics that utilize local potentials can be a solution to improve the living values​​, especially high school students in Wonosobo regency. This study was conducted to determine 1) how the development of physics-based learning tools that can improve the local potential values ​​living high school students in Wonosobo regency and 2) how the results/implementation of high school physics learning tools developed in Wonosobo regency.This study design in the form of research and development using the model of Borg & Gall which contains seven steps of research: (1) collecting information, (2) do the design, (3) developing the initial product form, (4) conduct field trials beginning, (5) revise the main product, (6) to test the main field, and (7) revise the main field test. The products will be produced in the form of physics-based device which includes living local potential values ​​for high school students in Wonosobo regency include: syllabi, lesson plans, textbooks, student activity sheet, and assessment sheets.There are two conclusions from the research. 1) The device physics learning developed by utilizing local potential can improve the living values ​​high school students in the district of Wonosobo. 2). There is a significant difference between living values learners who use the local potential of physics-based learning to the learners who learn without using the local potential based learning.

Abstract

Various types of ceramic materials are mostly found in Indonesia which have different common properties, so lab experiments are needed to determine the natures of the breakdown voltages, capacities, and factors which determine the performance of each ceramic insulator. Type of ceramic tile studied were of diferent platinum, ceramic tile brands. The experiments sho that, the average breakdown voltage of ceramic platinum is 8.12kV, the room conditions during testing were 29.70C, 989mB air pressure and humidity 77%, while the average breakdown voltage of ceramic milan was 9.12kV, where condition during the test was 29.10C, 990 mB air pressure, relative humidity 79% and for brands essenza average breakdown voltage 39.68kV, under a testing temperature of 29.90C, pressure 989 mB air and 66% humidity. Of the three types the ceramic platinum brand was most easily penetrated by the voltage. This is do caused by the existing cavities in the ceramics and does not meet the standard ceramic or solid materials and most of them have the ability to withstand the breakdown voltage ceramic materials essenza brands.

Abstract

Conventional faucet by twisting operation can be replaced with automation systems for the purpose of easy operation and to save water. Solutions to these can be solved utilizing electronic technology. With the use of sensors on the electronic switch circuit faucet and filling water in the reservoir will work automatically according to the expected circumstances. Thus the tap to remove the water and do not need to stop playing, because tap water out if a member body directed to the front of the sensor and stop the flow water if it is not directed at members of the body. While in the reservoir, water will always be awake capacity so there is no excess water runs out or when charging. In detecting the presence or absence hand directed towards utilizing sensor ultrasonic and as overall system control using AVR microcontroller atmega16. While on the test results show that there are differences in the amount of water volume released on automatic washing appliance less the regular tool so that there is efficient use of water. Based on the testing tool can be run well and as a tool in this thesis is a simulation then to apply it in real conditions necessary adjustments to take into account such things as the distance between the electrodes used in the reservois, the distance between sensor ultrasonic and distances between each faucet. This system will work automatically turn on the faucet using ultrasonic sensors as an object detector.

Abstract

This research is do to make Very Low Pressure Phase-II Project which be expected to not like the last project which have not appropriate between plan and implementation. It is because the increase of activity which is not planned before and student’s syndrome behavior. Student’s syndrome like spin out time is occur because the safety time in every activity and when a project have a problem, with the result that the estimation time and cost is bigger. Therefore, it be made a plan with applied Critical Chain Project Management method. From primer data and secondary data be treated with microsoft project software. This method is to hide safety time in every activity and change with buffer time. Increase buffer time with using cut and paste method is add project buffer half of critical chain duration at the end of chain and put feeding buffer with half activity to activity at not critical chain which bring it to critical chain. The result of research is when a project is already start and no changes, so the project can finish during 370 day with cost 3,558,232.73 USD. When the project is not appropriate, then buffer time can be consumed about 185 day with resource buffer cost about 334,767.27 USD and total of finished project is 555 day, a safety time for Very Low Pressure Phase-II project.

Abstract

Welding is a joining technique in production process which weld two metals or more using heat energy Physical property near welding zone changes in microstructure, deformation and thermal stress in order to minimize a negative effects, it is required a correct procedure in welding, selection of optimum welding current and heat input. Welding joint in steel countruction or pressure vessel has to fullfill the welding standard such as, high stress property 27 joule for temperature – 50oC and 100 joule for 0oC. The aim of this research is to investigate the Effect of variation in welding current, welding speed and heat input on microstructure of main metal and HAZ. Experimental work is done using optic microscope, hardness test and univercal machine. The purpose of the research is to obtain optimum welding parameter related which micro structure and mechanical properties of weld metal and HAZ. The variation in heat input are 2 kg/mm, 3kg/mm, 4kg/mm. The variation of welding speed are 7 mm/s, 4,7 mm/s and 3,5 mm/s at current of 400 Ampere,mean while at 600 Ampere the variation in welding speed are 10,5mm/s, 7mm/s, 5,25mm/s. The result shaws that microstructure is dominated by ferit size and ferit Widmanstatten. The highest hardness of 164,98 VHN is found at welding zone of specimen A with welding current of 400 Amper, welding speet of 7 mm/s and heat input of 2kg/mm. Tension and yielding stress of 567 and 472 MP occur for specimen A1 with 600 Ampere welding speed of 7 mm/s and heat input of 2kg/mm.

Abstract

Karangmojo village, District Weru, Sukoharjo regency Central Java, during the dry season drought range.The purpose of this study was to determine the hydrogeological conditions of the data, so it can be estimated groundwater potential areas prone to dry. Aquifer in the area carefully situations with flow in the aquifer system of the space between the grains, and the nature of its production being keterdapatannya locally - local.The method used is the estimation of subsurface geology using the data obtained geoelectric tools hold value types, geological mapping and hydrogeological mapping.Advance the depth of groundwater in wells dug around the village Weru, depth of groundwater in the face of population ranged dug 11 meters from the local ground level. Based on geophysical data obtained, the maximum volume of 330 m3/day of water obtained on the west and on the west timur1 timur2 178 m3/day.
