Abstract

This research means to know about The Relationship between parent caring pattern with the adolescent social habit in area Sungai Janiah district Gunung Talang sub-province Solok. The kind of research that be used is descriptive correlation. Population in this research are all adolescents of area Sungai Janiah district Gunung Talang. Sample of population are taken by random sampling method which is from the counting, the amount of sample must be 51 people. The instrument in this research is enquette. That enquette concist of two kind of enquette, there are parent caring pattern enquette and adolescent’s social habit enquette. Then, these enquette is tested the validity and reliability. To analyze it, used the equation of  product moment correlation coefisien karl pearson. The result of counting then is compared with product moment value r table and then doing t test which also be compared with t value table and last determinant coefisien counting of those two variable. The result of research show that there are a significant and strong relationship between The Relationship of parent caring pattern with the adolescent habit in area Sungai Janiah district Gunung Talang sub-province Solok, where rhitung about 0,73 >  rtabel about 0,279 at df 50 with significant value 5%.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the pattern of parent and adolescent communication in families at RT IV Fountain District Urban Village South Padang, with the aim of the study is 1). Stimulus-response model describes the pattern of parental communication with adolescents in the family and 2). Interactional models to describe the patterns of parent-adolescent communication in families at RT IV Fountain District Urban Village South Padang. This research is a descriptive study. Researchers took the study population was elderly and adolescents. This study uses total sampling technique. Analysis of the data used is to create a table for each variable and cross tables and bar charts among variables to describe patterns of parent-adolescent communication in families. Data analysis using the percentage formula. Results of research conducted can be described as follows: 1) The application of the communication patterns of parents and adolescents in families with stimulus-response models included in both categories with a percentage of 56%, 2) Application of communication patterns of parents and adolescents in families with Interactional models included into categories with a percentage of 62%, 3) Application of communication patterns teens and parents in families with stimulus-response models included in both categories with a percentage of 61% and 4) Application of communication patterns teens and parents in families with Interactional models included in both categories with a percentage of 60%. The author suggests that parents of adolescent communication should run well, parents should use gentle words in communicating with teens to avoid things that are not desirable, and vice versa teens want to show good communication to parents.

Abstract

Presenting of problem’s research is to describe learning skill of students to improving good attitude and learning habit in SMPN 2 Pulau Punjung Dharmasraya. This research was done in SMPN 2 with total sample  are 92 students. The instrument which  is used is questionnaire the result of research found that generally learning skill of students is learning skill that mean (1) The reading skill is 63,04%. This category is good, (a) 42,39% is good in survey (b) 35,87% is good in question (c) 43,88% is good in read (d) 46,74% is good in recite (e) 35,87%  is good in review (2) 64,13% is good category in implementation of assignment orientation (a) 59,78% is very good in schedule arrange (b) 63,04% is good in avoid the  things which disturb activities learning (c) 48,91% is good in asking auxiliaries (d) 36,96% is good in prepared the materials to make assignment (3) 67,39% is good in implementation to follow the examination (a) 67,39% is good to keep physical condition (b) 52,17% is good in calm attitude (c) 47,03% is good in self confidance (d) 56,52% is good in more understanding (e) 36,96% is good in focus thinking and  feeling (f) 44,57% is good enough in understanding all examination  skill (g) 50,00% is good in be careful and accurate. From the description above can be concluded that implementation of learning skill of students improving good attitude and learning habit in SMPN 2 in order it can be defended and increased.  Therefore the students’ more understanding about learning skill, improving skill and good learning hablt.

Abstract

Problem in this study is how the efforts of counselor help students who gain low learning outcong. This study alms to reveal: (1) an attempt totur helps learners im prove learning motivation, (2) guldance counselor attempts to help in improving the way of effective learning. This researchis a desviptive study that attempted to describe about a real situation. Population in this study were junior high school students grade VIII SMP N Pulau Punjung Kab. Dharmasraya there were 44 students. This sample taken from the population, therefor the sample collection technique is total random sampling. All population were sampled out come data were analyzed by using the tech nique of presentation. This study found that counselor’s effort to help students in improving motivation learning categorized unsatisfled because they onley get 52,3% and the datas also shows that supervison’s efreetively also unsitisfleed that is 84,1%. The ralter suggest to superviser and all teacher in SMP N 1 Pulau Punjung Kab. Dharmasraya more foends to students who gor a problem in specially who get low scone study learning.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the study of Profiles in Learning Skills Learners develop an excellent learning skills in SMA N 1 Painan. The study was descriptive. The research was conducted in SMA N 1 Painan with a sample of 87 students. The instrument used was a questionnaire and interview guides. The research results revealed that: (1) the skills profile of learners before teaching and learning process in both categories with a percentage of 64.95%. (2) Info skills of learners in the teaching and learning process in both categories with a percentage of 70.90%. (3) The skills profile of learners after the teaching and learning process in both categories with a percentage of 68.6%. Based on the research findings, it is suggested to mentor teachers in order to improve learning skills to students about how to improve the skills of learners before starting the lesson, during the process of learning takes place and before the learning process takes place. For parents, in order to provide care and guidance to the children in improving learning skills. For principals to be able to observe how the skills learned before PBM took place, took place during and after the PBM lasts. From the above it can be concluded that the skills students learn in high school N 1 Painan that need more role of teachers and counselors to assist students in the learning process.

Abstract

Based on the observation that researchers do the students STKIP PGRI  Sumatera Barat, especially student guidance and counseling that many students who have not completed a thesis which should have finished working on the thesis, there is still a student class of 2006 and 2007 who have not completed the thesis. The problem in this study is what are the factors that influence student motivation in the completion of the thesis. This study aimed to describe: (1) Intrinsic factors that influence student motivation in the completion of thesis (2) extrinsic factors that influence student motivation in the completion of the thesis. This research is a descriptive study sought to describe a situation for what it is. The population in this study were all students of guidance and counseling 2006-2007 forces numbering 25 students. Techniques used in sampling is sampling in which the total amount of the entire population sampled in the study. So the total sample of 25 people. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire. While the data used for the analysis of the percentage formula. Results of this study found that (1) the intrinsic factors that influence student motivation in the completion of the thesis is in many categories, as many as 22 students or 88% of the students expressed a lot of factors that affect motivation. (2) Extrinsic factors that influence student motivation in the completion of the thesis is in many categories, as many as 20 students or 80% of the students expressed a lot of factors that affect motivation.

Abstract

Achievement motivation is influenced by several factors, one of which is the concept of self. This study aims to determine whether there is a relationship between self-concept and achievement motivation of students in Senior High School 1 Kecamatan Kapur IX Kabupaten Lima Puluh Kota. This reseach is a quantitative correlation is the relationship between self-concept and achievement motivation of students in Senior High School 1 Kecamatan Kapur IX Kabupaten Lima Puluh Kota. The study population numbered 329 people who registered the 2012-2013 school year, with a total sample of 77 people were taken using random sampling techniques sratified. Collecting data using questionnaires about self-concept and achievement motivation. The data obtained were analyzed using percentage formula. Results of research conducted can be described as follows: 1) students in Senior High School 1 District 50 District IX Limestone City has a good self-concept, 2) learners at SMA Negeri 1 Kecamatan Kapur IX Kabupaten Lima Puluh Kota has a good achievement motivation, 3 ) there is a significant relationship between self-concept and achievement motivation of learners in SMA Negeri 1 Kecamatan Kapur IX Kabupaten Lima Puluh Kota with count  of 0.410 at a significance level of 0.00 and r table is 0.227. Based on the findings of this study are expected to guidance and conceling teachers to be able to design a program appropriate services for students in the handling of issues related to self-concept and improve student achievement motivation in learning.

Abstract

The study findings revealed that the learners learning activities in the learning process is still lacking to follow, due to the lack of motivation of learners in the learning process to follow, not the material readiness of the students in the following study, the lack of completeness of the study aids learners in the learning process to follow, less comfortably learners learning environment, learners conditions unfavorable in the following learning activities, teachers and teaching styles that are not liked by the students, and the students can not use the facilities that have been provided by the school so as not to create an atmosphere of learning or study room comfortable and conducive as possible, this is because the students are not concentrating when learning activities attributable often feel sleepy, lethargic and not in the spirit of research in the learn. The result is recommended to the various parties involved, namely the learners are expected to be able to utilize the facilities provided at the school so that learning activities can be followed properly, setting the room where the study well and clean up the place and did not chide learning in the classroom, students are also expected to be able to maintain the health conditions in the following lesson so do not bother to follow the concentration of students in learning activities in the classroom.

Abstract

The problem in this study is how the efforts of parents children develop talents in the arts. This study aims to describe how efforts to develop the talents of children of parents in the arts can be seen from (1) the efforts of parents in understanding the characteristics of young talent in the arts. (2) the efforts of parents to guide and develop young talent in the arts. This research is a descriptive study sought to describe a situation for what it is or the truth. The population in this study were the parents of the students at SDN 22 Tanah Keras Kecamatan Bayang Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan, amounting to 96 people from classes I-VI. This study uses a sampling technique with purposive sampling based sampling considerations by researchers sampled only the upper class IV-VI which amounted to 51 people. The type of data in this study is the data interval, while the source of the data in this study were the parents of the students at SDN 22 Tanah Keras. Results of this study found that parents in an effort to understand the characteristics of young talent in both art categorized, and the efforts of parents in guiding and developing young talent in the arts well categorized. So it can be described in general of the research effort to develop the talents of children of parents in the arts well categorized. The authors suggest to students may always be a child who is full of creativity and develop talents and interests that exist in the child in accordance with their capabilities, as well as to parents increase effort has been given to children to encourage children to be more advanced in developing talent and creativity.

Abstract

Implementation of information services by students practical field experience integrated guidance and counseling to adolescents aims to provide new knowledge and experience in accordance with the needs of the young. In Air Pacah revealed that the implementation of services students practice guidance and counseling field experience integrated rudimentary noted that less enthusiastic in participating in these activities. This study describes: 1. Perceptions of adolescents in urban Air Pacah of materials provided students in the implementation of information services, 2. Perceptions of adolescents in the village Air Pacah  about the methods used in the implementation of information services, 3. Perceptions of adolescents in the village Air Pacah about media used in the implementation of information services. This type of research is descriptive with a population of 33 teenagers have a population of less than 100 people, the population sample used in this study by using total sampling. Data collection tool is questionnaire data analysis techniques using a percentage formula. Show study findings: 1. Perceptions of young people in villages Air Pacah on the material provided in the implementation of students information service are the less important criterion, 2. Perceptions of young people in villages Air Pacah about the methods used in the implementation of information service on a less suitable criteria, 3. Perceptions of young people in  villages Air Pacah of media used in the implementation of information service in the category which not appropriate. Based on the findings of the study are expected to guidance and counseling students which implement to be more selective in the choice of methods and the media to be used in the implementation of management information service and to continue to implement a program of study in order face to face meetings with students to know the developments in the field.
