Abstract

Problems in the research are the role of mentor teachers in improving student learning outcomes superior class. This study aims to reveal: (1) The role of a tutor to improve learning outcomes through the superior grade student guidance and counseling services, (2) The role of a tutor to improve learning outcomes of students excel class through increased motivation to learn. Type of research is descriptive, which describes a situation with what it is. The population in this study was superior grade students VII.A, VIII.B, XI.A, XI.H totaling 123 people. The samples in this study were drawn from the population, and therefore the sample collection techniques, namely: proportional randomsampling, samples are drawn proportional to the number of population in each class has been defined and numbered 30 people. Data results of the study were processed using techniques percentage. The research found that the role of a tutor to improve learning outcomes through the superior grade student guidance and counseling services classified in either category (73.3%) and the role of tutor to improve learning outcomes through the superior grade students learning motivation belong to the poor category (93.3%). The authors suggested that counselors and teachers all teachers who teach in Padang for SMP N 14 does not distinguish between whether or not a superior grade excels in the provision of counseling services, because each learner has the right to the same education.

Abstract

Based on problem studied that researcher found from the phenomenon that researcher seen in the field was limited given of information about sex and the manner in which the righ to adolescents by counceling. Besed on the phenomenonthat the researchers raised concerns abuot : 1) Persepsion of students about sex education materials 2) Persepsion of students about sex education methods 3) Persepsion of students about implemeting sex education 4) Persepsion of students about the importance of sex education. This researched was quantitative deskriptive research that seeks to describe the situation for what it is. The study populations were all students of class XII are numbered 258. The technique used in this sampling was simple random sampling the sample taken was class XII and XII IS 2 IA 3, amounting to 59 people. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire. As for the use of data analysis is techniques percentage. The researched resultsrevealed that : 1) Perception of students about sex education materials were classified as good 2) Perception of students about sex education methods were classified as good 3) Perception of students about sex education executive was fair 4) Perception of students about the importance of education peseta sex was good.

Abstract

The problem in this study is: What is the profile assignment elderly development in Tambun Jorong Ijuk Koto Tangah Stone Marijuana District Akabiluru District Fifty Cities. This study aimed to describe: 1) seniors developmental task of adjusting to decreasing physical strength and health 2) seniors developmental task of adjusting to the death of a spouse. This research is a descriptive study describes a real situation. The populations are 36 people. Sampling in this study uses total sampling technique because when the subject is less than a hundred, better grab all the samples. Data collection tool used was a questionnaire, while the technique analyzed using percentages. The results obtained showed that the task of development of seniors in adjusting to decreasing physical strength and health are at the unfavorable category as much as 36.11% and seniors developmental task of adjusting to the death of a spouse is in the unfavorable category as much as 41.66%. Based on these results it can be concluded that the profile of the development tasks can be categorized as poor seniors. Recommended for seniors to be able to add insight or knowledge about the developmental tasks that must be accomplished when entering old age and to the families of seniors in order to pay attention to the needs of seniors are required to achieve development tasks.

Abstract

Education should be basically starting from process to outcome. Education is a life activities in the community to achieve the full realization of human last a lifetime. The problem in this study is what are the barriers that prevent students practical field experience in school guidance and counseling in the provision of information services to become professional teachers. This study aimed to describe: (1) barriers experienced by students in explaining the material PPLBKS information services (2) barriers experienced PPLBKS student in classroom management while providing information services. This research is a descriptive study sought to describe a situation for what it is. The population in this study were all students practice guidance and counseling period 2012-2013, amounting to 130 students. While the sample in this study was 56 students. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire. While the data used for the analysis of the percentage formula. Results of this study found that (1) the barriers experienced by students PPLBKS in explaining the material is in the category of information services pretty much obstacles, as many as 44 students or 78.57% of the students expressed a fair amount of resistance (2) barriers experienced by students in classroom management PPLBKS time of service quite a lot of information on the category of barriers, as many as 43 students or 76.78% of the students expressed a fair amount of resistance.

Abstract

The problem in this research is: How can a tutor attempt to overcome the problem of social relations students in learning in SMP N 4 SUTERA?, Views of: 1). Guidance counselor effort to overcome the problems experienced by students who are not accepted into the study, 2). Guidance counselor effort to overcome the problems experienced by students who tend to learn by themselves, 3). Guidance counselor effort to overcome the problems experienced by students who tend to choose friends in learning. This research is a descriptive study that attempted to portray the situation as it is. This study population is students of SMP N 4 SUTERA, a population of 428 people. Samples were selected by purposive random sampling technique, is the students who have problems in social relationships in learning. The tools used in data collection was a questionnaire and data analysis techniques using a percentage formula. The results are as follows: 1). Efforts to overcome problems guidance counselor experienced learners who are not accepted into the study were in the good category, 2) The guidance counselor to overcome the problems experienced by students who tend to learn on their own are in the good category, 3) The guidance counselor to overcome the problems experienced by the learners tend to choose friends who are learning the good category. Based on the above results the researchers to conclude that the business tutor solve social problems of students in SMP N 4 SUTERA can be categorized either. Here, the researchers suggested that a tutor to maintain and further enhance efforts to address problems of social relations students in learning and provide the kind of service that suits your needs and problems of learners.

Abstract

Based on the observations of research Practical Experience Filed Tuition and Counseling School at SMP Negeri 17 Padang, especially when researchers overseen activities semester exams, it is clear that there are students not ready physically, mentally and not ready to discipline for the exam looks less good. The aimed his study to describe: How readiness physical, mentally and discipline of students to the class VIII to confront the semester exam at SMP Negeri 17 Padang. This research is a descriptive qualitative to got obtaining information in the form of a statement, explaining, words, picture of language. Source of the data is students of the class VIII at SMP Negeri 17 Padang. Total data source is 238 students. In this research Simple Random Sampling done by lottery or lottere was applied. Total of sources research the data 70 students. Research instruments such as questionnaires and interviews, used the technique analysis percentage of engineering analysis interviews. Results of this research said that: (1) Readiness physical to the students for the exam criteria very good is 64.29%. (2) the readiness mentally of the students for the exam the criteria very good is 51.43%. (3) The discipline of students in the exam, including the criteria that is either 55.71%, to addition information from the interview to headmaster and three people guardian class any students not discipline to exam, especially in the discipline of time students still have exams coming late. Based on the found of the research, so the students to recommended the exam and comply with maintaining readiness criteria very well, to headmaster, guardian class and teacher counselor for more attention to discipline students for exams.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the causes of absenteeism of students in teaching and learning at Junior High School 11 in Padang, the purpose of the study was to describe 1). The cause of absenteeism of students seen from itself (internal) at Junior High School 11 Padang and 2). The cause of absenteeism of students seen from outside (external) at Junior High School 11 in Padang. This research is descriptive. With a population of learners in grade VIII, and IX which totaled 62 people. The techniques used in the collection of data on research in the form of non-test instrument is questionnaire were processed using a percentage formula. Results of research conducted can be described as follows: 1). The cause of absenteeism of students seen from itself (internal) at Junior High School 11 Padang fall into many categories, namely the average percentage of 14,6% and 2). Peyebab absence learners viewed from outside himself (external) at Junior High School 11 Padang fall into many categories, namely the average percentage of 13,2%. Based on the study is expected to teachers or the school, family and more attention to the problem of absenteeism of students to teaching and learning activities can be carried out and organized well and provide guidance and direction to students continuing to always pay attention to the activities of learners in the school.

Abstract

This study profiles describe about healthy adolescent heterosexual behavior in Junior High School 4 Hiliran Gumanti District. Focused on sexual feelings shown to the opposite sex and sexual interest in the opposite sex shown in this study is a population of students numbering 68 people, sampling in this study uses total sampling technique. Data collection instruments used questionnaires and the data processed using the percentage formula. The findings of the study revealed that healthy heterosexual adolescent behaviors include: (1) Acquire knowledge and sex roles conformed to gender, including the pretty good category, (2) Develop a positive attitude toward sex, including the pretty good category, (3) Learning to behave according to the heterosexual norm, including the pretty good category, (4) Setting the values in choosing a life partner, including the fair category, (5) Learning to express love, including the pretty good category, (6) development of heterosexuals, including the category quite well, (7) a new heterosexual pattern, including both categories. This study is expected to provide an overview of the types of service in developing a healthy heterosexual behavior in school counselor. Add new insights regarding the development of learners heterosexual adolescents. Parents can develop adolescent heterosexual behavior in Kanagarian Sariak Alahan Tigo into a more positive direction. Niniak Mamak Kanagarian Sariak Alahan Tigo Jorong Talaok can assist youth in developing as well as the development of heterosexual heterosexual behavior can be a good example for young people in kanagarian in Junior High School 4 Hiliran Gumanti District.

Abstract

Problems that occur in learners’ selves who come from a broken home among adolescents from time to time tend to increase, both qualitatively and quantitatively. The problem in this research is: How do the techniques used by a teacher counselor in helping broken home learners’ problem through personal counseling in SMA 11 Padang. The purpose of this study was to determine how far of the techniques used by the teacher counselor in helping students broken home in overcoming their problems through personal counseling. This research was a descriptive research; it was describe of things as it is. The population of this study was a broken home students, the number of the students was 43 students. This study used total sampling technique that taken sample from the entire population because fewer than 100 people. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire. Meanwhile, for analyzing the data the researcher used percentages technique. The results of this study showed that (1) Teacher efforts in expressing their students in very well category with the percentage of 32.56%. (2) Teacher counselor revealed the personal experiences of students to the problems being faced in the category very well with the percentage of 41.86%. (3) Teacher counselor brought positive idea of learners was in the good category with the percentage 58.14%. Based on the results above, the researcher suggested that a teacher counselor should care in shaping students’ good behavior.

Abstract

These  research     initiation and  background    by  implementation  service  on channel and placement with counselor in developing  selves  extracurricular action at  Senior High School  Negeri 12  Padang, these  research is  purposed  for  description  been doing by counselor at   Senior High School   Negeri 12 Padang. These  research   is purposed  for  seeing    how   is   assignment   service program  on channel and placement  extracurricular action  at  Senior  High School  Negeri  12 Padang, with   lay out research  that is  (1)  Assignment and planning   service program   on channel and placement by doing counselor extracurricular  action. (2)  Implementation   service program on channel and placement extracurricular action.  (3) Evaluation/Assessment. These research face off research qualitative, the research consist of all informant counselor at Senior High School Negeri 12 Padang.  The collecting data by doing   with   document and questioner upon   implementation   on channel and placement service by counselor extracurricular action. The  resulting   research  have  found  out  that is 1)  assignment and  planning   service  program   on channel and placement  extracurricular action  have   implemented  with  good category, 2) Implementation   service program  on channel and  placement  extracurricular act   have implemented   with good category, 3) Evaluation/assessment  of  implementation  service program  on channel and  placement  extracurricular act  into  good category.
