Abstract

In this research, the writer found some Problems based on a phenomena in the field is the women who are anxious to get a couple who can not make ends meet any women who worry about getting at domestic violence (domestic violence), the researchers raised concerns about the level of anxiety research women who are in a period early adulthood in entering marriage in Nagari Inderapura Pura Kecamatan Air Pura Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan. The purpose of this study is to describe: (1) women who are in early adulthood to meet physiological needs, (2) The level of anxiety women who are in early adulthood in meeting the psychological needs. This research is a descriptive study that sought to describe the situation for what it is. The overall study population was adult women who enter marriage early in the Nagari Inderapura Kecamatan Air Pura Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan, techniques used in sampling is total sampling 86 people. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire, while the percentage of data analysis techniques used. The results revealed that: (1) Rate women who are in early adulthood in meeting the physiological needs as much as 50 % in the high category. (2) The level of anxiety women who are in early adulthood in meeting the psychological needs as much as 87 % in the very high category. Based on the results of the study authors suggest in adult women enter marriage early in order to know and understand what the purpose of a wedding. Business courses so that students knowledge about the professionalism of marriage and further research in order to follow up on these results from a wider aspect.

Abstract

This research was motivated by utilization of facilities and infrastructure guidance and counseling are not effective by counselor at school. This study aimed to look at how utilize of facilities and infrastructure were done by counselor to make effective service activities at SMP Negeri se-Kecamatan Lengayang Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan. The research objectives are: 1) Describe the form of utilization of  facilities guidance and counseling by counselor at SMP Negeri se-Kecamatan Lengayang Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan, 2) Describe form of infrastructure utilization by counselor at SMP Negeri se-Kecamatan Lengayang Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan. This research was qualitative research. This research took six existing counselor at SMP Negeri  se-Kecamatan Lengayang Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan, as research informants they were: SMP N 1, 2, 3 and 4 Lengayang. Data were collected through interviews and observation and documentation of the utilization of counseling and guidance facilities and infrastructure  by counselor. From the analysis of interviews and observations revealed that counselor difficulty carrying out activities with utilization guidance and counseling  facilities and infrastructure. The existing facilities: data collection tool, tool storage, administrative supplies and complete support  was not complete  while infrastructure that provide there like: workspace counselor, living and individual counseling.

Abstract

Based of phenomenon which researcher  found out in the field, the researcher considered that was found students whose majors were not suitable with their psychology. Therefore, the researcher took it as a case to study: How internal and external factors  influenced students when they chose their majors in SMA Negeri 1 Solok. This research wanted to deseribe: the factors which influenced students when they chose their majors in SMA Negeri 1 Solok. This research was decripsive research with population werw 333 students. Sample of this research was purposive random sampling. The data of this research were pimer and secunder. Instrument that used in collecting the data was questionaire and it technique was percentage formula.With refesence to finding of the research, so students talent factor in choosing that was enough criteria, interest was enough, intelligence was good, motivation was good, ability was enough, care was good and dream was good. Nevertheles, students family factor in choosing that was good criteria, scool was enough, facility was enough and society was good. This means that students who chose their majors related to external factor was good.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the implementation of individual counseling services conducted counselor teacher. Based on the initial survey found students still problem and has not appointed its independence after doing individual counseling with counselor teacher. This study aimed to look at how the effectiveness of individual counseling services are performed in the attainment of independence counselor teacher learners, the research problem definition, namely :1) Effectiveness of individual counseling services are conducted on understanding and self-acceptance in a positive and dynamic, 2) Effectiveness of individual counseling services towards understanding and acceptance objectively and dynamic environment, 3) Effectiveness of individual counseling services to the appropriate decision-making, 4) Effectiveness of individual counseling services for self-direction in accordance with the decision taken, 5) Effectiveness of individual counseling services for optimal self-realization. This research is a descriptive study. Sampling was done by using purposive sampling. As the sample of students who have done individual counseling with counselor teachers. Data were collected through filling questionnaires by learners. The data were processed by using percentages. The findings of the study revealed that the effectiveness of individual counseling services are performed in the attainment of independence counselor teacher learners effective.

Abstract

Family is the main principle in forming children’s act. Walking on their live, children need their parents support like parenting and support to a better live. In this case, to form well students’ self adjustment in school, it is also need well parenting of parents at home. Because of that, this research was conducted to discover how the parents’ parenting was able to build up students’ self adjustment. This research was designed by descriptive correlation. The population was students of XI class in Senior High School 16 Padang. The sampling was taken by using random sampling, which the total number of sampling was 70 students. The instrument of the research was questionnaire. To analyze the data, the researcher used pattern of product moment correlation coefficient, which issued by Karl Pearson, in form of windows release 17.0 program, called statistical product and service solution. Generally, the result of research showed that there was a significant relationship between parents’ parenting with students’ self adjustment in school. Thus, as the conclusion, it can be said that the parents’ parenting and students’ self adjustment were on powerful level of significance

Abstract

This study is based on field problem, which is still a counseling student are less skilled in socializing and interacting with the environment. the researchers raised concerns about the research: how the interpersonal intelligence counseling students in STKIP PGRI Sumatera Barat. The purpose of this study was to describe the ability of students to socialize and empathize. This research is a descriptive study. The study population was all students counseling class of 2011 in STKIP PGRI Sumatera Barat and sampling technique is proportional rondom sampling, sample size was 51 of 330 students. The instrument used was a questionnaire and techniques to analyze the data by percentage. Results of this study, in general the interpersonal intelligence counseling students class of 2011 are smart, social skills and empathy as well as smart. However, ability to speak and communicative empathy  is smart enough and the habit of hearing less smart. Based on the study results, the authors suggest counseling students to improve his interpersonal intelligence. The manager of guidance and counseling department in STKIP PGRI Sumatera Barat to further enhance students competence.

Abstract

This research was motivated by parents’ roles in receiving of physically disabled adolescent. This research focuses on: (1) Parents’ role in the social adjustment of adolescents with physical disabilities, (2) Parents’ role in self- concept development of adolescents with physical disabilities. This research was a descriptive qualitative research. The sample was taken by using snowball sampling technique. This research took the parents of teenagers with physical disabilities as key informants. Additional informants were physically disabled adolescents and adolescents with physical disabilities neighbors. Based on the results of research on parents’ role in adolescent social adjustment with physical disabilities, in which the parents have a role in giving attention, motivation, attention of sadness feelings, complain, and bring teens to seek the treatment, meanwhile motivational support in the form of a spirit not to be shy and accept who she/he is. Parents’ role in the development of self-concept look of a parenting parents teach children gratitude, freedom does not prohibit children to play, giving their needs, while support in the form of the spirit do not despair, acceptance is shown by giving attention to youth, the intimacy of the relationship and communication is established with good.

Abstract

Problems studied the teacher providing counseling services counseling information monotonous because master class teacher, teacher counseling while providing less obvious questions so that the students could not answer. The purpose of this study: 1) Perception of students on communication skills in counseling teacher explains the material information services. 2) Perception of students on communication skills in providing counseling teacher question to students in the provision of information services. 3) Perception of students on communication skills in counseling teacher gives strength in the service information. This research is a descriptive study. The study population of students of SMP Negeri 20 Padang. Stratified sampling technique was rondom Sampling. Samples were taken from each class VIII and class IX through lottery. Number of samples 66 people. The research instrument was a questionnaire, data analysis techniques used percentages. The results in SMP Negeri 20 Padang in general is a very good. The results according to the lowest sub-variables, namely: 1) Describe the service material unfavorable category is 1.51%. 2) Asking the question in a category quite well with the percentage of 15.15%. 3) Provide reinforcement in the category quite well with the percentage of 16.66%. Based on the results of the study authors suggest counseling teacher further improve communication skills in the delivery of information services so that students can understand the material content of the service.

Abstract

The research looked at the phenomenon of persistence of students who fail to learn even live classes due to lack of student interest in learning, lack of interest in following the lesson, do not the work assigned by the teacher. The problem in this student is how the tutor efforts in increasing the motivation of learners staying in SMP Negeri Kecamatan Ranah Pesisir. This students aims to describe the efforts tutor in improving learners intrinsic motivation and extrinsic motivation to learn and stay in the classroom. This research is a descriptive students’ that tried to describe a situation for what it is. The population in this students’ was the stayed in SMP Negeri Kecamatan Ranah Pesisir totaling 20 peoples. Samples were from the number of population. Sampling techniques, namely: total samplings are all populations. Sources of data in this research is primary data and secondary data. Association engineering data in this study using a questionnaire. The results of the data in this study were processed using techniques percentage. The findings of research that attempts tutor in improving learners intrinsic motivation to stay in the classroom learning with unfavorable criteria and guidance counselor efforts in improving the extrinsic motivation of learners in the classroom learning live on fewer criterions. The author suggests the guidance counselor for more openly and thoroughly to improve intrinsic and extrinsic motivation in SMP Negeri Kecamatan Ranah Pesisir achieve a good motivation to learn to get a good learning outcomes.

Abstract

This research was based on students’ problem, which was top rank students and have lack of social skill, in Junior High School 4 Payakumbuh like; they tended to be quiet, arrogant, and through instrument of discovering common problems was found that they had problems in social interaction. This research was conducted in Junior High School 4 Payakumbuh by using descriptive design. The population of this research was all the top rank students of Junior High School 4 Payakumbuh. The sampling was taken by using purposive sampling which was only top rank student of VII and IX class. The total sampling was 54 top rank students or all of students which was on 1st rank until 3rd of 18 classes in Junior High School 4 Payakumbuh. According to data analysis, it was concluded that the interaction social of top rank students to individual and group was well. Interaction social of top rank students to individuals was well with percentage of 74.53%, beside the interaction social of top rank students to group was well with percentage of 74.24%.
