Abstract

Observations result through, students force themselves to follow trends such as: often change the handphone, exaggerated dress, lingerie model, students with a speaking style that candidates should not educators or guidance counselor. Also found students more obedient to the friends group, so that they can be accepted in the group. This research is a descriptive study attempted to describe the situation as it is. The study population was all students of Force Guidance and Counseling, 2009, 2010 and 2011 STKIP PGRI West Sumatra, a population of as many as 846 people. Samples were selected by proportional stratified random sampling technique, sampling of members of the population at random and stratified proportionally. Sample was 89 students guidance and counseling, using questionnaire data collection, statistical analysis used is descriptive by using a percentage formula. The results showed: 1) The level of conformity blind student guidance and counseling STKIP PGRI West Sumatra can categorized as high, 2) The level of conformity internalization Guidance and Counselling students STKIP PGRI West Sumatra in general can be categorized as high, and 3) The level of conformity internalization of student guidance and counseling STKIP PGRI West Sumatra is generally categorized as high. Observations result through could see that the level of conformity student guidance and counseling, including high and should be reduced for the foreseeable future

Abstract

The problems studied by the researchers based on a phenomenon in the field was parents who think that kids game is just a wasting of time, parents who do not know the role of a game for children, even parents do not allow their children to play when the boy approached his friend, let children play on their own, parents who have less knowledge in the development of the game, besides the parents are deliberately throwing child play thing. The purpose of this research was to describe: 1) Parents’ roles in participating for children while playing a game. 2) Parents’ roles in facilitating childrens games. This research is a descriptive research that produced quantitative data. Population of this research is the overall of parents who have young children (0-6 years), amounting to 101 people. Technique used in sampling is proportional random sampling, in which total sample is 50 people. The instrument was a questionnaire, while for analysis the data used the percentage formula. The results of this research revealed that; 1) Parents’ roles in participating for children while doing games were categorized well. 2) Parents’ roles in facilitating childrens games were categorized well. Based on the results of the research, the researcher suggests to the parents in the Bukit Mindawa, Kecamatan Pulau Punjung, Kabupaten Dharmasraya in order to increase its roles in the development of early childhood game.

Abstract

In this research, the writer found some Problems based on a phenomena in the field is the women who are anxious to get a couple who can not make ends meet any women who worry about getting at domestic violence (domestic violence), the researchers raised concerns about the level of anxiety research women who are in a period early adulthood in entering marriage in Nagari Inderapura Pura Kecamatan Air Pura Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan. The purpose of this study is to describe: (1) women who are in early adulthood to meet physiological needs, (2) The level of anxiety women who are in early adulthood in meeting the psychological needs. This research is a descriptive study that sought to describe the situation for what it is. The overall study population was adult women who enter marriage early in the Nagari Inderapura Kecamatan Air Pura Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan, techniques used in sampling is total sampling 86 people. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire, while the percentage of data analysis techniques used. The results revealed that: (1) Rate women who are in early adulthood in meeting the physiological needs as much as 50 % in the high category. (2) The level of anxiety women who are in early adulthood in meeting the psychological needs as much as 87 % in the very high category. Based on the results of the study authors suggest in adult women enter marriage early in order to know and understand what the purpose of a wedding. Business courses so that students knowledge about the professionalism of marriage and further research in order to follow up on these results from a wider aspect.

Abstract

The students’ aims to examine the factors that influence smoking behavior of students at SMA Negeri 12 Padang, by describing the following factors 1). Factors influence parental attention in smoking behavior of students in 12 high schools in Padang. 2). Factor of peer influence on smoking behavior of students at SMA Negeri 12 Padang, 3). Personality factors influence the smoking behavior of students at SMA Negeri 12 Padang and 4) tobacco advertising influence factors in smoking behavior of students at SMA Negeri 12 Padang. This research is a descriptive study. The study population was all students of SMA Negeri 12 Padang in the academic year 2011/2012 who smokes. Total sampling techniques sampling as many as 36 people. Source of data used are primary data obtained from the respondents surveyed are learners. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire. As for the use of data analysis techniques percentage. The results of this study can be described as follows: 1) factors influence parental attention to smoking behavior of students at SMA Negeri 12 Padang is included in many categories, namely the average percentage of 68.56%, 2) factors influence the behavior of peers smoking students in 12 high schools in Padang is included in many categories, namely with an average percentage of 68.43%, 3) personality factors influence the smoking behavior of students at SMA Negeri 12 Padang is included in many categories, namely the percentage average of 68.44% and 5) factors influence tobacco advertising in smoking behavior of students at SMA Negeri 12 Padang is included in many categories, namely with an average percentage of 71.30%. This means that: Factors that influence the smoking behavior of students at SMA Negeri 12 Padang included in many categories. Based on the above results the authors suggest to parents and teachers in schools to provide information about the dangers of smoking to the learners.

Abstract

Parenting is one of factor affecting student’s motivation. Provision of appropriate parenting should also followed the good motivation of students to study. But infact that students are lack of motivation. Therefore, it is necessary to having research on relationship of parenting with the sutdent’s motivation. This study were aimed to describe : (1) description of student’s parenting. (2) description of student’s learning motivation. (3) relationships of parenting with student’s learning motivation in Class VIII SMPN 23 Padang. Type of research was quantitative descriptive correlational study with population of all the eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 23 Padang, total of 222 people. Sample were taken in proportional random sampling total of 56 samples people. Data were collected through questionnaire. Data were analyzed using percentage analytical technique, while hypothesis testing to see the relationship of parenting with student’s motivation to study using Pearson Product Moment Correlation formula, the calculation using computer with Microsoft Excel and SPSS version 17.00. Results of data analysis : (1) description of parenting of students is in good category with percentage of 83.93 %. (2) description of motivation of students is in high category with percentage of 58.93 %. (3) relationship of parenting student’s motivation obtained rcount 0,580 > and rtable 0.2632 at df 54 with significance level of 0.000 (sig < 0.05). So research result found that the relationship of parenting with student’s motivate to study of eighth grade students of SMPN 23 Padang is a quite strong significant level.

Abstract

A child  have special requirement to frequently assumed to differ from normal , they seen as not powered and require to feel pity . Not only that, they tend to to get treatment of discriminative, education service to child with functional growth resistance stand in need of serious than teacher in social interaction. All teacher are often given on to the problem of giving of special service. Hence, this research aim to describe to study of teacher strategy in forming child independence of tunagrahita in Extraordinary School 1 Padang. Type Research which used in this research is qualitative research with research location SLB Country 1 Field town. As informan in this research, the reasearcher amount are 3 people learn SLB, including Headmaster. Documentation study of this research are technique, observation, and interview. Accuracy of data tested by using sampling snowball, of gathered to be data to be analysed which consist of data collecting, result of interview, and observation to be made conclusion. The result of this research indicate that : seen that school have conducted classification of child of tunagrahita with two way. First, they can train, educated, and take care. Secondly it can seen by  weight, normal and low.  That classification also strenghtened with result of inspection of IQ which have been conducted by doctor. Teacher and other school also used variety strategy such as; strategy study of cooperative, competitive and individually with aim to increase achievement, recall, grow motivation learn, improving child socialization of tunagrahita with other normal child. Some note found development of seldevelopment of every Saturday has strategic time to develop potency had by educative participant. Besides researcher also find made by handicrafts educative by participant. Its quality is equal to residing in marketing, so that, it can be concluded that the skill have economic valuable. The researcher hope,Expected of school can continued to develop variety method which give appropriate education for the child have special requirement.

Abstract

Keberhasilan guru dan siswa dalam pembelajaran di kelas didukung oleh banyak faktor seperti kompetensi guru, kelengkapan bahan ajar, sarana prasarana dan yang tak kalah penting adalah model pembelajaran. Melalui model pembelajaran guru dan siswa memiliki kerangka konseptual dalam proses pembelajaran dari awal sampai akhir. Dari hasil penelitian selama dua tahun, model yang efektif dan efesien untuk tercapainya tujuan belajar dan hasil belajar yang tepat adalah model pembelajaran Contektual Teaching and Learning (CTL). Model CTL membantu guru dan siswa mengaitkan materi yang diajarkan dengan dunia nyata yang dihadapi siswa, dengan kata lain model CTL ini membangu jembatan antara pengetahuan siswa dengan kehidupan mereka sehari hari dalam keluarga dan masyarakat. Model pembelajaran CTL ini perlu disosialisasikan ke guru dan siswa sehingga layak dijadikan pengabdian pada masyarakat terutama ke sekolah. Setelah melalui beberapa pertimbangan maka sekolah yang dijadikan lokasi adalah SMA 2 Sipora Kab. Kepulauan Mentawai. SMA 2 Sipora berada dekat dengan Ibu Kota Kabupaten yaitu Tua Pejat di pulau Sipora salah satu tiga pulai besar di Kepulauan Mentawai. Dengan sosialisasi model pembelajaran CTL di SMA 2 Sipora dapat menjadi sekolah model untuk mutu pendidikan SMA di kepulauan Mentawai. Kita memahami mutu pembelajaran di SMA ini serta umumnya sekolah di Kepulauan Mentawai masih tertinggal dari daeerah lain di Sumatera Barat. Sosialisasi model pembelajaran CTL kepada siswa di SMA 2 Sipora berupa komponen model CTL yaitu konstuksivisme, inquiry, questioning, learning commbaby, modeling, reflection dan authentic assesment. Kegiatan sosialisasi ini mendapat sambutan meriah dan menjadi pemicu semangat belajar bagi siswa SMA 2 Sipora untuk mengaitkan materi pelajaran dengan dunia nyata mereka, sehingga terasa sekali bagi mereka manfaat belajar di sekolah ketika meraka berada di rumah atau dalam lingkungan tempat tinggal mereka. Sosialisasi ini juga di sambut dengan senang hati oleh kepala sekolah dan guru SMA 2 Sipora, karena pengabdi dan tim datang dengan suka rela dan juga telah berjuang menerjang ombak Samudera Hindia untuk sampai di SMA 2 Sipora.

Abstract

Modules can be used independently in learning by students. The Antiradicalism and Terrorism Islamic Religious Education Module is a module intended for PGRI West Sumatra teacher and tertiary high school students, specifically and specifically for students throughout Indonesia who need learning resources in Islamic Religious Education lectures at General Higher Education. This module is expected to assist students in studying Islamic Religious Education courses, according to the material needed in the module so that it can be used in real life in the midst of society. The module is a module that is easily made by students because the module is a learning tool that students can use independently in learning. This module is well equipped to meet Indonesian grammar, in this case the choice of words or diction used is important to support the practicality of student understanding. Based on the results of using the usage module, this module has been approved practically. This is inseparable from the important role of grammar and data choices or diction used.AbstrakModul dapat digunakan secara mandiri dalam pembelajaran oleh siswa. Modul Pendidikan Agama Islam Antiradikalisme dan Terorisme adalah modul yang diperuntukkan bagi guru dan siswa SMA PGRI Sumatera Barat, secara khusus dan khusus bagi siswa di seluruh Indonesia yang membutuhkan sumber belajar dalam perkuliahan Pendidikan Agama Islam di Perguruan Tinggi Umum. Modul ini diharapkan dapat membantu mahasiswa dalam mempelajari mata kuliah Pendidikan Agama Islam, sesuai dengan materi yang dibutuhkan dalam modul agar dapat digunakan dalam kehidupan nyata di tengah-tengah masyarakat. Modul merupakan modul yang mudah dibuat oleh siswa karena modul merupakan sarana pembelajaran yang dapat digunakan siswa secara mandiri dalam pembelajaran. Modul ini dilengkapi dengan baik untuk memenuhi tata bahasa Indonesia, dalam hal ini pemilihan kata atau diksi yang digunakan penting untuk mendukung kepraktisan pemahaman siswa. Berdasarkan hasil penggunaan modul penggunaan, modul ini telah disetujui secara praktis. Hal ini tidak terlepas dari peran penting tata bahasa dan pilihan data atau diksi yang digunakan

Abstract

Penelitian ini di latarbelakangi oleh rendahnya semangat peserta didik dalam belajar, hal ini terlihat dari adanya peserta didik yang kurang memiliki semangat dan kerja keras dalam menekuni setiap kegiatan yang ada di sekolah. Penelitian di kelas VIII SMPIT Adzkia Padang bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan : 1) Kegiatan mentoring peserta didik. 2) Karakter kerja keras peserta didik. 3) Menguji seberapa besar kontribusi kegiatan kegiatan mentoring terhadap pembentukan karakter kerja keras peserta didik. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik dikelas VIII berjumlah 127 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan propotional random sampling yaitu sebanyak 56 orang. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui angket dan diolah menggunakan teknik persentase dan regresi linear sederhana. Hasil penelitian di kelas VIII di SMPIT Adzkia Padang menunjukkan 1) Gambaran kegiatan mentoring peserta didik berada pada kategori baik. 2) gambaran pembentukan karakter kerja keras berada pada kategori tinggi. 3) terdapat pengaruh kegiatan mentoring berkontribusi dalam pembentukan karakter kerja keras sebesar 27%. Artinya 73% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain. Untuk itu direkomendasikan kepada mentor dan guru untuk meningkatkan bagaimana proses kegiatan mentoring yang akan dilakukan kepada peserta didik di awal pertemuan kegiatan mentoring.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the existence of students who have not planned their careers after graduating from SMK. The research aims to: 1) Describe the self awareness of the XII grade students of SMK Semen Padang. 2) Describe the career planning of the students of SMK Semen Padang. 3) To see the relationship between self awareness and career planning. This type of research is descriptive quantitative correlation. The population of this study was the students of SMK Semen Padang as many as 97 students. The sampling technique was carried out by total sampling, that is, all of the population was sampled, amounting to 97 people. The instrument used in this study is a questionnaire, data analysis techniques using the Pearson Product Moment Correlation formula using the SPSS version 22 application. The results of research on student career planning are in the high category. Self awareness of students is in the very high category. The data analysis categories obtained the following results: There is a significant positive relationship between self awareness and career planning of students with a correlation or rcount of 0.273 and rtable of 0.2 df 95 at a significance level of 0.05 or a 95% confidence level. rcount rtable, it can be concluded that the working hypothesis (Ha) is accepted and there is a significant relationship between self awareness and students' career planning. For this reason, it is recommended that BK teacher education provide counseling services related to increasing self-awareness and career planning, which is specifically for students who are in the medium and low categories to become high
