Abstract

 ABSTRACT This study aimed to obtain the data, process, analyze and discuss the socich-economic conditions of freshwater fish farmers in Rao Selatan district Pasaman Region views of: 1) Income, 2) Basic Need Fulfillment, 3) family education and 4) Family health. This research is a descriptive. Population was all the house hold of freshwater fish farmers in Rao Selatan district Pasaman Region totaling 1,248 households. Samples were taken with a proportional random sampling with a proportion of 10%, so that the respondent amounted to 129 households. Collecting data using guided inquiry, statistical analysis used was descriptive using percentage formula. Tne results showed as follows ; 1) The land area of 0.75 hectares owned by farmers, average income of Rp 2,000,000 - Rp 2.999.000/harvest time, spending Rp 1.500.000 to Rp 1.999.000/month, dependents 4 people, a side job shop, work at home and use the income to childrens education, 2) Freshwater Fish Farmers in Rao Selatan district Pasaman Region providing staple foods 3 times daily, complementary foods and vegetable side dishes, family clothing needs 2 x year, met at the nearest clothing store, the type of house most permanent and the property it self 3) childrens education is generally located at the elementary, junior high, high school and college, school dropouts average 1 person in l family, where education in the neighborhood, the cost average of Rp 300.000 - Rp 500.000/month, resource costs come from the expense of education itself and 4) place of treatment to health centers, health facilities distance of 250 m - 500 m, the source comes from a family cost family nutrition good condition, dispose of waste in landfills and location of basic sanitation is at home

Abstract

ABSTRACT  This study aimed to obtain information , analyze problems and efforts transportation of oil palm plantations ofthe community in Sungai Tanang Sungai Aua village Sungai Aua district Pasaman Barat Region.This study is a qualitative, conducted in Sungai Tanang Sungai Aua village Sungai Aua district Pasaman Barat Region. Informants in this study were taken purrposive sampling that farmers are already harvesting oil palm , because farmers who have crops that are having problems in transporting crops .Results showed : 1) Constraints in terms of the distance that causes the transport / transportation of oil palm plantations can only be done one time only in a single tide water, in terms of time constraints due to long distances and what means of transportation used (canoe, pontoon or motorcycle) in the transportation of oil palm plantations is done, the constraints in terms of cost due to the price of palm oil is cheap and cost less , as well as a considerable distance and what means of transportation used (canoe, pontoon or motorcycle) in transportation of oil palm plantations and constraints in terms of transportation . The use of different means of transport such as canoes, pontoon or motorcycle will affect the cost and time required in the one-time transportation and (2) efforts can be done to optimize the transportation of oil palm up to the point of sale that is by collecting advance oil that has been harvested and brought in large quantities

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to obtain data , information and description of the Plant Patchouli (Pogostemon cablin Benth) in Makalo village Pagai Selatan District Mentawai Islands Region seen from: 1) the maintenance and care and 2) marketing.This type of research is descriptive. Population of all farmers in the village of patchouli in Makalo villageare 568 households. Samples were taken with a proportional random sampling technique with the proportion of 15% so that the sample was 84 farmers.The results of the study found : 1 ) Patchouli crop management techniques in Makalo village Mentawai Islands Region, farmer doing embroidery at age < 1 month until the age of 3 months, conducted during the morning and afternoon. Fertilization patchouli farmers in Makalo villade generally use NPK fertilizers and performed at the age of 1 month after planting. For the first weeding patchouli performed at the age of 1 month and weeding done 3 times. While farmers in the Makalo village generally never do and 2) Marketing patchouli plants generally use system sales by an estimated per kg of oil and the buyer is a big toke and some are directly sold to the market. Constraints patchouli farmers in Makalo village Pagai Selatan District Mentawai Islands Region in transport due to the Makalo transportati system is not smooth and more farmers using a speed boat in the sale and issue onof transport costs are expensive. Frequency selling patchouli oil generally uncertain. Results of patchouli oil obtained by farmers in the last one year depending on the weather and the land area. In 1 year, farmers usually harvest 4 times and average the results obtained in 1 Ha patchouli ranged from 5-10 kg

Abstract

ABSTRACK             The phenomena of rubber’s production infact that the rubber’s production in 2009, 2010, and 2011 had decreased of every years and was giving an impact to the economic system of farmer’s in Pasarbaru Pangean villlage, Pangean subdistrict, Kuantan Singingi district. The purpose of this vesearch is to analyze 1) The full fillment of basic needed of rubber’s farmer (basic, conventional need, clothing). In Pasarbaru village Pangean subdistrict Kuantan Singingi district, 2) the rubber’s farmer’s work experience in Pasarbaru village Pangean subdistrict Kuantan Singingi district, 3) the rubber’s farmer’s income in Pasarbaru village Pangean subdistrict Kuantan Singingi district. The result of this research are 1) basic needed of food basic neded is rice (100%), basic food as tofu and tempe (42%), and the cost of basic needed for 1 day is < Rp. 100.000 (69,6%), then for cloth’s rubber’s farmer’s is bought once for every six month (49,3%), and outcome for every year is Rp. 500.000-1.000.000 (40,6%), confentional needed is seen by the type of house a half complete and complete (43,5%), the wide of that house is 7x9 meters (33,3%). 2) work experience based on the level of knowledge of rubbers farmers (49,3%) and the last graduated of rubbers farmers is elementary school (46,4%), the time of the are spend to take the rubbers is about 7 hours (34,8%), their skill can see from the experience as a rubbers farmer is from self taught (37,7%). 3) the income from the wide of rubber land is about Rp. 1.000.000 (50,7%), and a little incoming from rubbers land when rainy season (27,5%).

Abstracts                                                                                                                                                   The aims of ithis study to look at the cracker business in the Kenagarian Tarung - Tarung Pasaman Rao . The problem that often ariset are a lack of capital , production processes and products . The low production of crackers can be seen from the lack of quality of produced goods and raw materials that are difficult to get . This research is a descriptive study used, a method of research / troubleshooting procedure melakskan investigated by describing the state of the business and industry based on the facts that appear or as they are. The sample used a total of 20 sampling cracker industry entrepreneurs . Data were collected through observation and questionnaires were used to look at the existing industrial business crackers in Kenagarian Tarung-Tarung. Availability of capital cracker industry in Kenagarian Tarung - Tarung craftsmen with a percentage of 40% . Industrial processes crackers bambang seen from the production process is one week , the manufacturing process using the mold as much as 65 % of the respondents . And industrial results Bambang crackers can be seen from the amount of production in the production of as much as 100-200 times 1 pack per day , with a 75 % sales gain from the sale of crackers .

Abstract

ABSTRACT Creating a clean and healthy environment is a shared responsibility, especially people that are around the environment. Communities have an important role in keeping the environment as well as creating a culture of a clean and healthy environment. This study aims to obtain, information, and an overview of Public Culture In Maintaining Environmental Cleanliness around the Village Market Saber Saber Duri subdistrict East Bengkalis views of: : 1) the habit of taking out the trash, 2) the habit of cleaning up the environment, 3) infrastructure utilization habits.This research method is descriptive. Descriptive research is intended to make plans about situations or events that are interconnected. The location of this research is in the East Village District of Saber Duri Bengkalis, this area of research is in RW I, RW II, III RW, RW IV. Sampling was done with the method: proportional random sampling, 15% of 631 people as many as 96 respondents.Based on the research results, it can be concluded as follows: 1. In view of the habit of taking out the trash is still much to throw it on the curb is equal to 46.9%, people still use plastic as trash, as well as the lack of public attention to the cleanliness of their neighborhood, 2. In view of the habits of the community in cleaning up the environment in general public only occasionally keeping the environment 52%, and also rarely made public mutual cooperation, to contribute, even meeting the environmental hygiene, so that the people themselves have not been keeping the environment in which they live well, 3.Di view of habits in the use of infrastructure in general hygiene sometimes people just trash properly utilize 53.1%, when the government already provides a means garbage and janitor.

Abstracts  This Research aim to for the description of Study Mount Prosperity of Farmer of Paddy rice field in Kenagarian Ranah Pantai cermin  District Of Sangir Batang Hari Sub-Province of Solok South, seen of 1) requirement of clothing, 2) requirement of food and 3) requirement of board. This Research method is descriptive, this research population is all family head farmer of rice field paddy who live in Coastal Kenagarian Ranah Pantai cermin  District Of Sangir Batang Hari  Sub-Province of Solok South amounting to 58 KK.. Data collecting by using enquette, with Technique Analysis, using percentaSe formula and Storey Level Attainment Of Responder ( TCR). Result of research cover 1) Requirement of family clothing farmer of rice field paddy in Coastal Kenagarian Ranah Pantai cermin  District Of Sangir Batang Hari Sub-Province of Solok South in obtaining mean score 2,18 with storey level attainment of responder equal to 54,59% staying in bad category 2) Requirement of family food farmer of rice field paddy in Coastal Kenagarian Ranah Pantai cermin  District Of Sangir Batang Hari Sub-Province of Solok South in obtaining mean score 2,58 with storey level attainment of responder equal to 64,5% staying in unfavourable category 3) Requirement of family board farmer of rice field paddy in Coastal Kenagarian Ranah Pantai cermin  District Of Sangir Batang Hari Sub-Province of Solok South in obtaining mean score 3,13 with storey level attainment of responder equal to 78,28% staying in good enough category.

Abstract

ABSTRACT  This study aimed to obtain the data, analyze and discuss the socio-economic conditions Farmers Cloves in Goisooinan Village Sipora Utara District Kepulauan Mentawai Region. This type of research is classified as descriptive. Population is the entire population of the Goisooinan village are 1.035 with 212 head of family. Samples were taken in two ways, the samples were taken with the area proportional random sampling technique, namely Pogari, Atduru, Kaliou each with a proportion of 50 % of the sample size of the number of families representing 86 families (KK) data was collected using a questionnaire guided analysis used is Descriptive statistics using percentage formula. The results showed as follows; (1) Revenue clove farmers in Goisooinan Village Sipora Utara District Kepulauan Mentawai Region generally Rp 1.000.000/month, condition good income in the year 2013, on the side of Rp 1.000.000, income of other family members of the wifes income and number of family members Rp 1.000.000, (2) the condition of education of clove farmers in Goisooinan Village Sipora Utara District Kepulauan Mentawai Region are generally complete primary school, generally the wife finished primary school, elementary school children generally 1, junior high school children generally 1, child the high school is generally one person, and generally there are no dropouts. Children mostly around the residence and source of the family s own educational expenses, (3) health condition clove farmers in Goisooinan Village Sipora Utara District Kepulauan Mentawai Region, a good physical health condition, type of illness usually fever, the treatment is a health center, general hospital distance of 20 km from the house and family members in the year 2013 is generally a mild illness, (4) housing conditions clove farmers in Goisooinan Village Sipora Utara District Kepulauan Mentawai Region, building area > 8,7 m, the condition of the building semi-permanent houses 50%, number of bedrooms generally 4 rooms , number of bathrooms and number is 1 piece 1 piece of kitchen space generally and (5) social relations social clove farmers in Goisooinan Village Sipora Utara District Kepulauan Mentawai Region including quite well

Abstract

ABSTRACK This study aims to determine the factors Habits Affecting Disposal of Waste Area Community Bank in Kanagarian Beach Fire - Fire District of South Coastal District shadow This research is a descriptive correlational . The population in this study were all families ( KK ) is located on the outskirts of the District Shaded Beach South Coastal District , amounting to 593 households . Samples were taken proportional random sampling technique with a proportion of 10 % for the sample areas so that the sample of respondents amounted to 58 families .The results of the study found that : ( a ) . The influence of environmental knowledge to the people throw garbage on the beach area at Api-Api Kenagarian District of South Coastal District shadow because of t > t table ( 2.002 > 1.672 ) , the effect of low ( r = 0.258 ) and a very small contribution ( 6.7 % ) , ( two ) . Influence of education on littering public beach area at Api- Api Kenagarian District of South Coastal District shadow because of t > t table ( 2.489 > 1.672 ) , the effect of low ( r = 0.316 and a very small contribution ( 10.0 % ) and ( three ) . influence of the number of family members towards people throw garbage on the beach area at Api-Api Kenagarian District of South coastal District shadow because of F > F table ( 5.289 > 2.712 ) , the magnitude of the effect of two variables on people throwing garbage in coastal areas in Kanagarian Fire - fire District of South Coastal District Bayang medium category ( r = 0.402 ) , whereas the contribution of including quite large ( 16.2 % ) .

Abstract

 ABSTRACT This research aimed to obtain, analyze and discuss the data the behavior of the public about the existence of the forest in Harau Regency Harau District Lima puluh Kota Region views of : 1 ) the destruction of forests , 2 ) preservation of forests and 3 ) forest turned into fields. This type of research is classified as descriptive. Population was all the heads of families residing in Harau regency totaling 761 households. Samples were taken in two ways, sample areas were taken by purposive sampling technique, taking Jorong Harau due to close and surrounded by forests, sample respondents drawn with proportional random sampling technique with a proportion of 25 % , so that the respondent amounted to 82 households. Collecting data using guided inquiry, statistical analysis used was descriptive using percentage formula.The results showed as follows: 1 ) the behavior of the public about the destruction of forests in Harau Regency Harau District Lima puluh Kota Region average score was 2.45 with 61,2 % of respondents achievement levels that are in fairly good criteria, (2) peoples behavior about forest conservation in in Harau Regency Harau District Lima puluh Kota Region average score was 1,97 with 49,1% of respondents achievement levels that are less well on the criteria and (3) the behavior of the public the forest turned into fields in Harau Regency Harau District Lima puluh Kota Region average score was 1,71 with 40,4% of respondents rate the performance criteria are not good                                                                    Â
