Abstract

Selection of appropriate teaching strategies must be in various. It is good and should be in accordance with the purpose of teaching - should be achievable. Teaching strategy is the first step that must be taken by a teacher in achieving the learning objectives. The conducted research on improving fifth grade student learning outcomes in Civics (PKn) through a strategy of Index Card Match (Material: Respect and Comply the Joint Decision) in MIN Pembantanan. This research was conducted through Class Action Research (PTK). This class action research aims to improve and enhance learning outcomes of subjects Civics on “Respect and Comply the Joint Decision” material for students in class VA MIN Pembantanan Sungai Tabuk Banjar district. PTK is implemented through two cycles to see the increasing of student learning outcomes and activities in subjects Civics on “respect and Compley the Joint together” material through Index Card Match strategy. The subjects in this class action research is graders VA MIN Pembantanan , 27 students consists of 14 male students and 13 female students. The object of this study is the implementation of learning strategy : “Index Card Match” in improving students’ learning outcomes in class VA on subjects Civics on Respect and Comply joint decisions material in MIN Pembantanan Sungai Tabuk. The type of data is divided into two parts, namely quantitative and qualitative data. The source of the data in this study were drawn from several sources, they are the students, teachers, and colleagues and collaborators. Research instruments in this research include tests, interviews, questionnaires, and discussions. This study revealed unacceptable or in other words, this study declared successful.

Abstract

The aim of study was to describe the application of Talking Stick model, student activity when applied Talking Stick model, and student learning result after applied Talking Stick model. This study uses a classroom action research design (PTK) with two cycles and each cycle has two meetings. The data were collected by observation techniques and field notes. The data collection instrument uses observation and test sheets. The collected data is analyzed descriptively qualitative and quantitative. The results showed that the application of Talking Stick model can improve student activity and learning outcomes in learning IPS material Preparation of Indonesian Independence SDN 1 Randuagung. Class V student learning activity in IPS study increased by 10.1%. The learning outcomes of grade V students in IPS study increased after applied Talking Stick model. Students who have completed learning criteria successively in the first cycle of meeting 1 to cycle II meeting 2 as many as 17 students or 63%, 20 students or 74%, 22 students or 81.4%, and 25 students or 92.5%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan kegiatan ice breaking dan motivasi belajar peserta didik dalam proses pembelajaran tematik, serta korelasi antara kegiatan ice breaking dengan motivasi belajar peserta didik dalam proses pembelajaran tematik di MI Nurul Islam Gambut. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian lapangan yang menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif serta metode penelitian korelasional. Populasi dan sampel pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas IV di MI Nurul Islam Gambut berjumlah 11 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini diambil dengan cara angket, observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Selanjutnya dianalisis menggunakan analisis korelasi pearson product moment. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kegiatan ice breaking di MI Nurul Islam Gambut dapat dikatakan berjalan dengan sangat baik. Hal ini terlihat dari data hasil observasi dan data angket yang memperoleh persentase sebesar 75,7% dan 83,6%. Motivasi belajar peserta didik dalam proses pembelajaran tematik di MI Nurul Islam Gambut tergolong sangat baik. Hal ini terlihat dari data angket yang memperoleh persentase sebesar 81,8%. Terdapat korelasi yang signifikan antara kegiatan ice breaking dengan motivasi belajar peserta didik dalam proses pembelajaran tematik di MI Nurul Islam Gambut. Hal tersebut terlihat dari rxy  >  rtabel  yaitu 0,864 > 0,735 dengan taraf signifikan 1% atau 0,864 > 0,602 dengan taraf signifikan 5%.

Abstract

This study aimed to identify the profile and relevance of curriculum or courses in Primary Teacher Education and Training Department of State Institute for Islamic Studies Antasari Banjramasin to occupation competence. The research method is a survey approach and the type is descriptive exploratory study. The subject of research are graduates in Primary Teacher Education and Training Department in 2011-2013, academic users and non-academic users. The results showed: 1. Profile of a graduate in primary that has become part of society show that: (a) 75.76% of graduates have been very ready to enter the job market; (B) 60.61% is very easy to get a job; (C) 75.76% has the ability to create the job market (d) 78.79% worked as a temporary teacher in Islamic Primary School; (E) Competence with very high criteria is 48.48% (pedagogical competence), 54.54% (personal competence), 54.55% (professional competence), and 84.85% (social competence). 2. Courses in the 2007 curriculum had some subjects that are less relevant, they are need to be revised. 3. the necessary competence is pedagogical, professional, personal, and social competence; job readiness; the seriousness of the work; communications; cooperation; independence; creativity; the use of foreign languages; use of information technology; the attitude of the leadership; willingness fast forward; analysis; writing reports; acceptance of new things; self-development; ductility; science-based expertise and integrity. 4. In the opinion of users academics and non-academics competence of graduates has been very satisfactory, fairly competent and have sufficient capability.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of Point-Counterpoint strategy on learning VII C grade in MIN 13 Banjar District and the factors that influence the implementation of counterpoint strategy on learning VII C grade in MIN 13 Banjar District. Subject in the study was 1 teacher of civic education subject. Data collection techniques used in this study observation, interviews, and study documents. The data processing techniques used data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. Data that has been processed and interpreted then analyzed to descriptive qualitative. After that in taking the conclusion the author took the inductive method of conclusions that are specific to the general conclusions. From the results of this study can be concluded that the implementation of Point-Counteroint strategy on learning VII C grade in MIN 13 Banjar Regency in general is well done with the making of the lesson plan (or RPP) where the RPP made by the teacher in accordance with the steps of Point-Counterpoint strategy and at the time of execution of teaching in accordance with steps of Point-Counterpoint strategy. This can be known from the teacher's educational background, teacher experience, and adequate facilities and infrastructure.

Abstract

Local contain of Al Quran education is learning which give opportunity students to learn, applicative and do all Al Quran doctrines. The focus that is process and knowing about reading, writing, and Al Quran understanding useful for life. In fact, the local contain Al Quran education at year 2009 that first published Province Regulation. By published Province Regulation South Kalimantan No. 3 year 2009 about Al Quran education in South Kalimantan The aims of Al Quran education is every students can be read, write Al Quran character well, understand and use full all doctrine Al Quran for life. Development curriculum in this study are action of perfecting based element Al Quran education has use by Province Government. And every school program development to increase student ability with learn school activities to get vision an purpose of  school. This research aims to describe curriculum development Al Quran education in Islamic Elementary Darul Azhar and State Elementary School 1 Tungkalan Pangeran Simpang Empat South Kalimantan. This research use a qualitative approach with planning multi case study. Methods of data collection through interviews, observation, and documentation. And the research informer is head school, vice head curriculum, Al Quran education teacher supervisor. All data be analysed in this case  and cross analysis. While data validity use triangulation source and method. The results from this research is: (1) curriculum plan envelop background, source idea, purpose, principle, content analysis, evaluation. (2) curriculum realization is envelop intra curricular, extracurricular  and for example. (3) curriculum evaluation is envelop programme, realization, and assessor. (4) curriculum development model of local contain Al Quran education have characteristic top an down.

Abstract

Lecture method is applied lecturers are less varied and often use the method of discussion and seminars, it can be considered to be the cause of poor performance and activity of students in learning, especially in subjects in primary Fiqh MI in the majors. Classroom Action Research is done to improve student academic achievement and activity in primary department at the Faculty of Tarbiyah fiqh MI subject matter. Hypothesis action in this classroom action research is: by implementing jigsaw cooperative strategies can increase academic achievement and student activities in learning fiqh MI Classroom. Action research was conducted on the fifth semester of university students majoring in primary education academic year 2013/2014, as many as 35 people. This research was conducted as many as three cycles, each cycle meeting.the techinics of data collection are done by observation, interview and test learning outcomes. The findings of this study is the application of cooperative strategies in primary jigsaw fifth semester student of the Tarbiyah Faculty IAIN Antasari Banjarmasin in the academic year 2013/2014 on the subject matter of fiqh MI declared a success by the results of the activities of faculty and students at the end of the cycle that is good once. The implementation strategy jigsaw cooperative learning can improve student achievement in the fifth semester in primary department Faculty of Tarbiyah IAIN Antasari Banjarmasin academic year 2013/2014 on the subject matter of Fiqh MI. There are three factors that affect the implementation of cooperative learning strategies on the course material jigsaw Fiqh MI for fifth semester Faculty of IAIN Tarbiyah Antasari Banjarmasin academic year 2013/2014, namely: 1) a lecturer in the learning activities went well and increases every cycle. 2) the activity is more active and enthusiastic student each meeting. 3) improved student learning outcomes of each meeting and has achieved Complete Standard Minimum set.

Abstract

Implementation of Competency Based Islamic Education Curriculum on SDIT Ukhuwah, closely related to the role of Principal as a teacher of Islamic Religious Education competence and the readiness of Islamic Religious Education teachers to improve their competence as well as competence of students. Principal Competence as a coach is supported by academic education background and teaching experience. Furthermore, the success of developing the competence of Islamic Religious Education teachers has relevance to the role of the Principal as supervisor and supervisor, as well as the discipline of Islamic Education teachers in applying their competence in the learning process. The main issue of this research is how the Principal coaching efforts on the competence of Islamic Religious Education teachers in the implementation of Competency-based Islamic Religious Education curriculum, and how the competence of teachers of Islamic Religious Education on the aspects of professional competence, personality competence, social competence, and pedagogic competence at SDIT Ukhuwah Banjarmasin. This type of research is Field Research. This research is descriptive qualitative. Principal research subjects and 4 (four) teachers of Islamic Religious Education (or PAI), while the object of research is the efforts of the Principal in fostering the competence of teachers of Islamic Education on aspects of professional competence, personality competence, social competence, and pedagogic competence. as well as the performance of teacher competence of Islamic Religious Education in learning. Technique of data collection are with observation, interview and documentary. Further data presented in the form of exposure, then in qualitative analysis which in the end drawn a conclusion by using inductive methods. The results of the field research indicate that the Principals' guidance on the competence of PAI teachers in implementing competency-based Islamic Education curriculum in the form of training has been done well, while the guidance of competence in the application of learning PAI has not been fully implemented properly, because the headmaster has not intensive conduct supervision, supervision, and assessment of PAI teachers. Similarly, PAI teachers are not competent on the application of professional competence aspects, personality competence, social competence, and pedagogic competence, because PAI teachers are less disciplined in applying Competency Based Islamic Education curriculum in learning Islamic Education on SDIT Ukhuwah Banjarmasin.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi komputer yang pesat memungkinkan produk program komputer dapat digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran, salah satunya adalah VCD pembelajaran. VCD dapat dijadikan media pembelajaran sehingga menjadi lebih nyata dan lebih mudah dipahami. Penggunaan media ini dapat membawa siswa lebih aktif dan termotivasi dalam proses pembelajarannya, sehingga hasil belajarnya pun akan meningkat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses pembelajaran IPS dengan menggunakan media VCD dalam upaya peningkatan hasil belajar dan motivasi belajar siswa. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan tes tertulis, angket, observasi, wawancara. Analisis yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode penelitian eksperimen, yaitu pre-experimental one-group pretest-postest design. Kesimpulan yang diperoleh adalah bahwa dengan menggunakan media VCD dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar dan motivasi siswa. Kata kunci: Peningkatan Hasil Belajar, Motivasi, Media VCD IPS

Abstract

This research aims to increase the activity of teachers and students in teaching and learning of Mathematics “Addition Numbers Two Digits” without Saving and In Saving, as well as improving student learning outcomes in the fisrt grade of MIN KertakHanyar II in Mathematics through the teaching aids “straw of lemonade”. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method of classroom action research that conducted in two cycles. At each cycle (cycle 1 and cycle 2) consists of one session. The subjects were Mathematics teacher in the 1st grade and  1st grade students of MIN Kertak Hanyar II in the second semester of the academic year 2013-2014. The number of students are 32. Collecting data in this study were obtained through observation techniques, test, documentation; data analysis techniques were used are based on average and percentage. The results of this research indicates that the implementation of lemonade straws media on subjects Mathematics performing well. (1) The results of the first cycle of teacher activity at 76.66%, which is enough classification. In the second cycle increased to 93, 33% of which are in very good classification. (2) Activity student in first cycle at 70%, which is enough classification. In the second cycle increased to 90%, which is at a very good classification. (3) The results of the first cycle of student learning classical completeness initially acquire 68.75% in less classification. In the second cycle increased to 93.75% with an excellent classification.
