Abstract

The aim of this study is to describe the planning and development of lecturers human resources in AMPTA Tourism School as well as to know the professionalism of lecturers and quality assurance in the AMPTA Tourism School of Yogyakarta. From this study, it can be concluded that, in general, the human resource planning and development of lecturers, as well as quality assurance in AMPTA Tourism School, have not been fully implemented in accordance with the existing regulations and legislation.However, AMPTA Tourism School is on the right track in terms of lecturers professionalism development and networking establishment with external stakeholders. Implementation of human resources development is carried out through formal and informal ways.

Abstract

Issues and awareness of resource conservation and the environment must be able to motivate companies to compete in the marketplace. Conservation and environmental sustainability issues should force companies to adapt the strategic planning process at a new socioeconomic need. Ecological considerations are relevant variables to achieve economic objectives through strategic green marketing concept (GMS) in the tourism business in a sustainable manner. In order to focus the development of green tourism is significant, it is the responsibility of the environment should be part of the agenda of the company, as well as an increased concern for environmental damage should be the concern of travellers, government and non-governmental organizations with a way to put pressure on the industry to have a framework that is environmentally responsible, establish codes of conduct, certification, ecolabelling, awards, and an alliance of green products. Green Marketing Strategic significant effect and can improve the quality of the environment, corporate profitability and economic growth of local communities. Personal values take effect in the company and can significantly improve the quality of the environment, corporate profitability and economic growth of local communities.Environmental values and significantly influential organizations can improve the quality of the human environment, corporate profitability and economic growth of local communities. Abstract

This research aims to investigate the influence of the lecturers’ conceptual skills, the lecturers’ interpersonal skills, and the lecturers’ technical skills on the students’ learning achievement. The sample was the students of the Administration Hotel program study. The result of the t-test using SPSS 17 for all of the independent variables (conceptual skill= 0.000, interpersonal skill= 0.001, and technical skill= 0.044) showed that hypothesis 1 was proven. It means that the lecturers’ conceptual skills, interpersonal skills, and technical skills influenced the students’ learning achievement. The result of the t-test was supported by the result of the F-test which was very significant (=0.000). The influence of the independent variables (X) on the dependent variable (Y) was 68.7%. The result of the t-test showed that hypothesis 2, where the lecturers’ conceptual skill influenced the students’ learning achievement significantly, was also proven.

Abstract

The abundance of bamboo tree inventory in Indonesia it can be used as a new business opportunity that is promising for Brajan tourist village. To be more recognized by the public, both nationally and internationally, the need for the development of the potential in the tourist village Brajan. The purpose of this study was to determine the potential development strategies Brajan tourist village. This study used a qualitative descriptive method. Based on the research results, development of rural tourism Brajan strategy can be formulated by using SWOT and strategy alisis SO, ST, WO, WT. Strategy development potential tourist village Brajan with participatory planning in the development of tourism in the tourist village Brajan by implementing Community Based Tourism as an approach to tourism development.

Abstract

MICE (Meeting, Incentive, Conference, Exhibition) in this time still represent the potential market of tourism in Yogyakarta. At the moment more‘s a lot of activity of MICE performed in Yogyakarta, is so that expected in a period to coming to Yogyakarta become the target of MICE after Bali. With the existence of the growing tourism MICE, hence hotel in Yogyakarta of both for have there is and also which in the process of out for development make the meeting room (Ballroom) which can accommodate until 2.500 visitors. Some hotelss are ready to for example Prodigal of Ambarruko Hotel, Sahid Rich Hotel, propose the readily Tentrem Hotel becoming Yogyakarta as the town of target MICE, with the goal of 65% activity MICE and 35% guests from Travel Agent (Kompas com. 28 June 2014).

Abstract

Yaqowiyu is one syncretism practice that still survives to this day in Indonesia. Rituals held every “Sapar” evolved since the days of Islamic Mataram. The purpose of the ritual is to remember the great merit of Ki Ageng Gribig, one of the missionaries of Islam in Jatinom Klaten during the reign of the “Sultan Agung Hanyokrokusumo”. Yaqowiyu ritual uniqueness lies in deployment “apem” in peak ceremony, which is a round cake made of rice flour with coconut pieces in the middle. This research aims to reveal the meaning of Yaqowiyu. Research methods used are observation, life history interviews and historical methods are to do an analysis of the documents. The results showed that Javanese people still strongly believe in animism. Yaqowiyu is interpreted as a ritual to maintain the safety and peace embodied by the behaviour of “ngalap berkah”. “Apem” cake meant as a tool to realize their request. But on the other hand, Yaqowiyu also is used as a propaganda strategy to spread the religion of Islam. At this point, Yaqowiyu also is interpreted as a tourist commodity that can be sold.

Abstract

The purpose of the authors conducted research to determine the effectiveness of E-Marketing Interests Against Tourist Visits in Gorontalo Saronde Island and can be beneficial for the institutions, the object of research, author and upcoming research. The location of the research is Saronde Island in Gorontalo. E-Marketing is one of the factors that play an important role in running a marketing business. E-marketing or Electronic Marketing is one of the breakthroughs that are quite reliable in marketing a tourism product. Saronde Island as one of the tourist attractions managed by GAB (Natural Gorontalo Maritime) uses the concept of E-Marketing as one way powerful enough to market their products. This research uses quantitative, measurement data in the form of numbers. Variables examined include Facebook marketing, email marketing, web marketing and blackberry messenger marketing. The number of samples from the total sample is 60 respondents to the normality test, autocorrelation test results and test multilinear data formula that relies on the analysis of the results of Durbin Watson and VIF (Variance Inflation Factor). With the technique of multiple regression analysis. The analysis result showed Blackberry Messenger is the most effective changer variable, which conducted to influent visiting of tourists, than others variable. The results showed a significant effect on the interest in visiting tourists at Saronde island of Gorontalo. The implications of this study are to be helpful to the reader, or for anyone who wants to continue the same thing in future research. Hypothesis Testing depends variable to the independent variable, the probability value is < 0.01.
