Abstract

Inventory and Ulin (Eusideroxylon zwageri Teijsm. Et Binn.) Mapping at Botanic Gardens of Unmul Samarinda (KRUS) East Kalimantan Province.The purpose of this study was to determined the diversity of flora especially Ulin trees species (E. zwageri), knowing the potential of Ulin trees species in the plots study and mapping the distribution of the presence of Ulin trees species so that can be basic for KRUS managers to implementing the policy.The object of research in the plots study in KRUS with transects method. Transects were made along each ± 1.000 m, width 20 m, which begins by taking the initial point. The data collected were of primary data at the level inventory of Ulin poles and tree trunks that were ≥ 10 cm in diameter. The data includes the number of individuals captured, the diameter of the tree trunk, bole height and total tree height, while secondary data was obtained directly from the results of previous studies, literature, and writing reports from the relevant agencies that include the location of the area, soil conditions, geogarafi conditions, climate, rainfall and vegetation. As well as interview methods used to obtain the data and information from officers in the field, officials concerned agencies and local residents that has to do with the activities of research and literature support.The results of the research are 1) The diameter of the largest Ulin was 86.1 cm with a total volume of 8.31 m³ found on transect A, while the smallest diameter was 11.3 cm with a total volume of 0.04 m³ which found on transect C. The potential of Ulin can be seen from the number of bole height that found in the observation area in 6 ha were 27.65 m³, while the total volume amounted to 55.86 m³; 2) Distribution of Ulin at KRUS most common in conservation zone covering an area of 3.48 hectares with 11 trees, at collection zone enrichment covering an area 2.24 ha with 10 trees and at recreation zone covering an area 0.28 ha with 8 trees.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk : (1) mengetahui pengaruh pupuk organik Procal dan pupuk kandang kambing serta interaksinya terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil produksi tanaman tomat Varietas Timoty F1; dan (2) mengetahui dosis pupuk organik Procal dan pupuk kandang kambing yang tepat untuk memperoleh produksi tanaman tomat Varietas Timoty F1 yang maksimal.Penelitian menggunakan Percobaan Faktorial 4 x 4 dalam Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) yang diulang sebanyak 3 kali.   Faktor pertama adalah dosis pupuk Procal (P) yang terdiri atas 4 taraf : tanpa pupuk Procal (p0),  5 g polibag-1 (p1). 10 g polibag-1 (p2); dan 15 g polibag-1 (p3).   Faktor kedua adalah dosis pupuk kandang kambing (K) terdiri atas 4 taraf : tanpa pupuk kandang kambing (k0), 300 g polibag-1 (k1),  600 g polibag-1 (k2), dan 900 g polibag-1 (k3).Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa : (1) pemberian pupuk Procal berpengaruh nyata sampai berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman pada umur 14 dan 40 hari setelah tanam dan pada saat panen, lingkar batang pada umur 14 hari setelah tanam dan pada saat panen, jumlah buah per tanaman, dan berat buah per tanaman.  Berat buah paling tinggi dihasilkan pada perlakuan 15 g polibag-1 (p3) yaitu 3,07 kg tanaman-1, sedangkan yang paling rendah dihasilkan pada perlakuan tanpa pupuk organik Procal (p0) yaitu 2,04 kg tanaman-1; (2) pemberian pupuk kandang kambing berpengaruh nyata sampai berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman pada umur 40 hari setelah tanam dan pada saat panen, lingkar batang pada umur 14 hari setelah tanam dan pada saat panen, jumlah buah per tanaman, dan berat buah per tanaman.  Berat buah paling tinggi dihasilkan pada perlakuan 900 g polibag-1 (k3) yaitu 2,97 kg tanaman-1, sedangkan yang paling rendah dihasilkan pada perlakuan tanpa pupuk kandang kambing (k0) yaitu 1,98 kg tanaman-1; dan (3) interaksi antara pupuk Procal dan pupuk kandang kambing berpengaruh tidak nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman pada umur 14 dan 40 hari setelah tanam dan pada saat panen, lingkar batang pada umur 14 dan 40 hari setelah tanam dan pada saat panen, dan berat buah per tanaman, tetapi berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap jumlah buah per tanaman.

PENGARUH PEMBERIAN PUPUK BOKASHI JERAMI PADI DAN JARAK TANAM TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN DAN HASIL TANAMAN PADI SAWAH (Oryza sativa L.) Effect of Paddy Straw Bokashi and Spacing on the Growth and Yield of Lowland Rice IR 64 Cultivare (Oryza sativa L.)HamidahFakultas Kehutanan, Universitas Widyagama Mahakam (UWGM) SamarindaSamarinda ABSTRACTThe research aimed at determining the effect of rate of paddy straw bokashi and plant spacing on the growth and yield of lowland rice. The research was conducted at Loh Sumber Village, Loa Kulu district, Kutai Kartanegara regency, from may to august 2008.The research design was split plot design arranged in Randomized Blok Design with 3 replications. The main plot was plant spacing consisted of 2 levels: J1 = 30 cm x 30 cm and J2 = 50 cm x 50 cm. The sub plot was paddy straw bokashi consisted of 5 levels: bo = no fertilizer application (control), b1 = 1,05 Kg bokashi square-1, b2 = 2,11 Kg bokashi square-1, b3 = 3,16 Kg bokashi square-1, b4 = 4,22 Kg bokashi square-1. Result of the research indicated that plant spacing treatment was significantly different on yield and highly significant different on plant height at 30 DAP, number of tiller per hill, number of filled grains, but it was not significantly different on plant height at 15 DAP, 45 DAP, time of harvest and weight of 1000 grains. The paddy straw bokashi treatment was significantly different on plant height at 30 DAP. The heighest yield was observed on the plant spacing treatment at 30 cm x 30 cm (j1) with 3.70 mgha-1. Key words : Paddy straw bokashi, Spacing, Lowland rice.

Abstract

Tinjauan Beberapa Komoditas Pertanian Strategis Sebagai Basis Penetapan Produk Unggulan Daerah Tingkat Desa Di Kabupaten Paser Provinsi Kalimantan Timur. Tujuan penelitian adalah : (1) mengidentifikasi komoditi pertanian dan bentuk produk yang dipasarkan di lokasi studi yang memiliki potensi untuk ditingkatkan daya saingnya;, (2) membuat ranking komoditi pertanian dan bentuk produk yang teridentifikasi di lokasi studi untuk ditetapkan sebagai sektor komoditi yang diunggulkan daya saingnya; (3) membuat daftar one village one product (OVOP) dan sebarannya pada lokasi studi sebagai usulan komoditas yang diunggulkan daya saingnya; (4) menganalisis faktor-faktor yang turut memberikan pengaruh dalam rencana pengembangan OVOP di Kabupaten Paser; dan (5) merekomendasikan alternatif strategi dalam rangka program percepatan pengembangan OVOP di Kabupaten Paser.Penelitian dilaksanakan di wilayah Kabupaten Paser Provinsi Kalimantan Timur dengan dua desa pada setiap kecamatan sebagai sampel. Penelitian dilaksanakan dalam rentang waktu selama kurang lebih delapan bulan sampai akhir pembuatan laporan.Data yang dikumpulkan meliputi : (1) data primer bersumber dari hasil wawancara dengan responden (tingkat rumah tangga/ kelompok dan/atau pelaku usaha) di lokasi penelitian; dan (2) data sekunder diperoleh dari instansi terkait seperti Dinas/Instansi yang menangani sektor komoditaspertanian tanaman pangan dankomoditas perkebunan, Dinas Perindustrian dan Perdagangan, Bappeda, BPS di lingkup Kabupaten Paser dan Provinsi Kalimantan Timur. Metoda pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui survei, wawancara dengan informan kunci dan penelaahan data sekunder. Jumlah responden di setiap kecamatan sebanyak ± 10 pelaku usaha.  Alat analisis yang digunakan adalah model LocationQuotient (LQ) dan Shift-Share, khususnya dalam rangka untuk mengidentifikasi jenis sektor komoditas atau produk yang akan diunggulkan pada setiap kecamatan.  Hasil dari analisis ini akan menjadi pijakan dasar dalam melakukan kajian berikutnya, yaitu penetapan OVOP pada setiap kecamatan. Untuk merumuskan strategi dan kebijakan yang direkomendasikan untuk penerapan Program OVOP digunakan analisis SWOT.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Kecamatan-kecamatan yang paling dominan di Kabupaten Paser untuk komoditas dari sub-sektor tanaman pangan dan palawija adalah kecamatan Kuaro, Muara Samu, Long Kali, dan Tanjung Harapan; dan (2)kecamatan-kecamatan yang paling dominan di Kabupaten Paser untuk komoditas dari sub-sektor perkebunan adalah kecamatan Muara Komam, Tanah Grogot, Tanjung Harapan, dan Kuaro.

Abstract

This study is to find closure on the land and floor area KHDTK Samboja changes and to find out the cause. Results from this study is expected to enrich the reference about the closing conditions far beyond the land especially for those in need especially for writers.. This study uses the interpretation method on screen digitization of Landsat 7 ETM + imagery coverage in 2010 and 2013 . Results from the interpretation then dioverlaykan the forest map and a map of East Kalimantan government administration .From the results showed that over the period 2010 to 2013, the change of land based on the calculation of the closure of changing area of 104.8 ha ( 3.38 % ) of the total area of 3206.2 ha area can be compared . Slowly closing the mengalai class changes in the form of addition of secondary forests dry land size 19.6 ha ( 0.61% ) , shrub size 14.0 ha ( 0.44 % ) , Agriculture plus tick size of 17.1 ha ( 0.53 % ) , Garden of 3.5 ha ( 0.11 % ) , and change the form of reductions in class extents occurred slowly closing the open land about the size of 54.2 ha ( 1.69 % ) . While that did not happen in the classroom changed slowly closing retreat and Transmigration .Monitoring of forest resources must continue to be done in support of sustainable forest planning pengelolaaan better and suitable provisions.

Abstract

Feasibility Study of Curly Chilli Farming (Capsicum annum L.) in the urban village of Lempake, North Samarinda sub district, Samarinda Municipality.  The purpose of this study were: (1) To determine the revenue and profit economically curly chili farming and (2) to determine the withdrawal or efensiensi curly chili farm in the Village District Lempake North Samarinda.The study was conducted from September to October 2012 in the Village district Lempake North Samarinda.Sampling for the study were calculated using proportional Stratiefied Random Sampling, respondents selected the peasant farming chili seeking kinky as 10 farmers. Data collected consists of: primary data and secondary data. The data include: total cost, Revenue, Revenue, break even point and efensiensi their farm.The result showed that: (1) income curly chili farming in one growing season is Rp73.902,149,- with an average of Rp 7.390,215,/ha, (2) the cost of production significantly affect the income generated by farming chilli curls and (3) R/C ratio 2,39 average which means that for every expenditure of Rp 15,000- you will get a revenue of  Rp 38,350,-

Abstract

This experiment aims to: (1) to study of the effect of guano walet fertilizer and Ratu Biogen foliar fertilizeras well as their interaction on the growth and yield of tomato plants; and (2) to find proper dosage of guano walet fertilizer and proper concentration of Ratu Biogen foliar fertilizer for better growth and yield of tomato plants.The research carried out from May 2014 to July 2014, in the Village Melak Ulu RT.20 Subdistrict Melak, West Kutai. It applied Completely Randomized Design with factorial experiment 4 x 4 and five replications.  The first factor is the dosage of the guano walet fertilizer (G) consists of 4 levels, namely: no fertilizer application guano walet (g0), 10 Mg ha ̵ ¹, or 100 g of polybag ̵ ¹ (g1), 15 Mg ha ̵ ¹ or 150 g polibag ̵ ¹ (g2), 20 Mg ha ̵ ¹ or 200 g polybag ̵ ¹   (g3). The second factor is the concentration of Ratu Biogen (B) consists of 4 levels: without POC Ratu Biogen (b0), 1 ml 1 ̵ ¹ water (b1), 2 ml 1 ̵ ¹ water (b2), 3 ml 1 ̵ ¹  water (b3).Result of the research revealed that : (1) application of guano walet fertilizer affect very significantly on plant height at 14, 28, 42 days after planting, the number of fruits per plant, and weight of fruit per plant, but the effect is not significant on the days of plant flowered and days of plant harvest.  The best production is attained by the 200 g polybag-1 fertilizer guano walet (g3), namely 282,50 plant-1, In reverse, the least production is attained by without fertilizer guano walet (g0), namely 227,25 g plant ̵ ¹; (2) application of Ratu Biogen foliar fertilizer after significantly to very significantly on the plant height at 14 days after planting  and the number of fruits per plant, but the effect is no significant on the plant height at 28 and 42 days after planting, days of plant flowered, days of plant harvest, and weight of fruit per plant; and (3) interaction between guano walet fertilizer and Ratu Biogen foliar fertilizer no significantly on the plant height at 14, 28, and 42 days after planting, days of plant flowered, days of plant harvest, number of fruit per plant, and fruit weight per plant.

Abstract

Optimization Of Input Farming Rice  (Case Study Clumprit Rural District of Pagelaran Malang). This research aims to know (1) the effect of output factor use for the optimization of rice farming business input (2) to know the economic efficiency of rice farming business factor.This research is conducted on October 2013 until March 2014 in Clumprit village, Pagelaran District, Malang Regency.  The data collection is done by survey method namely by observation, group discussion and interview; the Secondary data is collected from the documents namely: village monograph. The data analysis method used is production function analysis of Douglass and Marginal Product Value analysis.The research result shows that ; (1) the affecting factors to the rice farming business are fertilizer and seed in each stratum, so the use of the input factor is more for the necessary portion; (2) The farmer income in the 2nd planting period is higher tan the 1st planting period; and (3) The rice farming business in Clumprit Village, for the Marginal Product Value analysis for each stratum both in the 1st and 2nd periods is inefficient.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui pengaruh jenis dan dosis pupuk organik serta interaksinya terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman terong, serta untuk mengetahui jenis dan dosis pupuk organik yang tepat untuk menghasilkan tanaman terung yang tinggi.Penelitian dilaksanakan selama ± 4 bulan, yaitu mulai akhir bulan Februari 2017 sampai dengan bulan Mei 2017, di Kecamatan Sangatta Utara, Kabupaten Kutai Timur, Kalimantan Timur. Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL), dalam percobaan faktorial 3 x 3, dengan 4 ulangan. Terdiri atas 2 faktor perlakuan. Faktor I adalah jenis pupuk organik (K), terdiri atas 3 taraf, yaitu : pupuk kompos (k1), pupuk kandang sapi (k2), dan pupuk kandang ayam (k3). Faktor II adalah dosis pupuk organik (D), terdiri atas 3 taraf, yaitu : dosis pupuk 5 ton/ha setara 50 g/tanaman (d1), dosis pupuk 10 ton/ha setara 100 g/tanaman (d2), dan dosis pupuk 15 ton/ha setara 150 g/tanaman (d3).Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan jenis pupuk organik (K) tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman umur 15 dan 30 hari setelah tanam, dan umur saat berbunga.  Berpengaruh nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman umur 45 hari setelah tanam, Berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap jumlah buah per tanaman dan berat buah per tanaman. Berat buah terung tertinggi terdapat pada perlakuan k3 (pupuk kandang ayam), yaitu 1,62 kg/tanaman, sedangkan yang terendah terdapat pada perlakuan k1 (pupuk kompos), yaitu 1,14 kg/tanaman.

Abstract

The aims of research were to determine the effect Bokashi fertilizers and varietas as well as their interaction on the growth and yield of sweet corn, and to determine the proper dosage of Bokashi fertilizer to produce maximum production on certain varieties.The research was conducted starting from March 2016 to July 2016, from land preparation up to the last data collection. It was carried out at Jl. Pendidikan, North Sangatta sub district, East Kutai District. The research using Random Block Design (RBD), with 2 factorial and 3 replications. The  first factor was Bokashi Fertilizers (B), consisting of four levels, namaly : no Bokashi application or control (b0), 10 tons/ha equal to 3,5 kg/plot (b1), 15 tons/ha equal to 5,25 kg/plot (b2), and 20 ton/ha equal to 7 kg/plot (b3). The second factor was the maize varieties (V), consisting  of there varieties, namaly : Bonanza F1 (v1), Sweet Boy (v2), and Sweet Corn (v3).Results of the research showed that the Bokashi fertilizer treatment has no significant effect on the age of male flowers and female flowers emerge. But it had significant effect on the production of cobs per hectare. And it had very significant effect on the plant height at ages 15 days, 30 days and 45 days affer planting, cob lenght and cob diameter. The highest cobs production was attained at the b1 treatment with 7,68 tonnes/ha, while the lowest one was attained at the b0 treatment with only 7,48 tonnes/ha.Treatment of varieties did not affect significanttly on the plant height at ages of 15 days, 30 days and 45 days after planting, age of male flowers and female flowers emerge, cob length, cob diameter and production of cobs per hectare.Interaction treatment had no significand effect on the plant height at ages of 15 days, 30 days and 45 days after planting, age of male flowers and female flowers emerge, cob lenght, cob diameter and production of cobs per hectare.
