Abstract

Various disasters that happened in urban area in Indonesia has led human behavior to organize their surroundings in which they live. Islam as the guidance and way of life for mankind has given the instructions how to keep their surroundings in order to create the harmony. The moral crisis following the bad attitudes toward invironment  has caused those divergences. In this case, we need awareness to create the perceptive city as one of belief manifestations. Therefore, it can grow on in human life. This article tries to talk about the relations of construction which creates perceptive city and design the city which is based on Islamic norms.

Abstract

Dalam era globalisasi kesadaran akan identitas pribadi maupun persekutuan semakin menonjol. Hal ini merupakan suatu "paradoks". Sebab ketika dunia semakin menyatu, semakin mejemuk pula bentuk-bentuk ekspresinya. kemajemukan merupakan kenyataan sosiologis yang tidak dapat dihindari. Ditengah manfaatnya proses globalisasi yang ternyata juga memperkuat kemajemukan dalam kehidupan masyarakat, pendidikan memiliki perang penting dalam mentransformasikan nilai-yang positif-kontruktif sehingga masyarakat tidak kaku dalam menghadapinya. Dalam konteks inilah pendidikan Islam memiliki tradisi panjang dalam berhadapan dengan isyu-isyu demokrasi.

Abstract

Greedy is a desire in one’s self to get more than what he or she has had for their own sake. Greedy is a very bad attitude. The desire to get and collect wealth is not forbidden as long as the wealth is earned based on Islamic teaching. In addition, the wealth is not only for him or her but for others in terms of social activity as well. How is greedy perceived in the view of hadits? And what are its effects on live? This paper provides an answer to every aspects of greedy which is a very bad attitude.

Abstract

The soul, it is so called maujud can be comprehended as the thing of physical matter which is related to human. It is invisible and unhiding. In other aspects, the soul can have specific meanings as non-material. It flows in human body as substiansial which is unrelated to others. The word of al-nafs is mentioned in Al-Qur’an which is amount about 250 times much more than the word of al-ruh. The word of al-nafs is sometimes defined as ruh and it is not on the contrary. It means that the element of soul (al-nafs) is emanated from ruh. Ruh is the core and soul is the part of ruh. The soul is immortal and will feel torture and suffering. The immortal soul which is defined by Moslem philosophy can be confronted with the truth of Al-Qur’an which is talking about the human resurrection in some ways. First, it is suggested that the philosophy of human soul is the highest level, the soul is the core of immortal soul and human body will get destruction.

Abstract

The increasing number of elderly can cause a variety of problems, especially in terms of health and well-being of the elderly. The study aimed to determine the correlation of cardio respiratory fitness and physical health quality of the elderly in PSTW Gau Mabaji Gowa. The research design was a non-experimental (observational design) with the type of cross-sectional type. This research findings that almost elderly had good and very poor VO2 max (25, 8%). On other hand, almost elderly had bad quality of physical health (59, 7%). Cardio respiratory fitness had significant correlations with the physical health (p=0,001). The most influential variable on the physical health was the variable of maximum oxygen consumption (OR: 8.333).

Abstract

The Hadith of Prophet Muhammad saw, as a source of Islamic teachings, covers almost all aspects of human life. It contains the teachings of a religious ritual as well as the teachings and information related to the daily lifes of human beings. Even the information of some bad behavior happened in the Age of Jahiliyah had become part of the subject that is narrated in the hadith of the Prophet saw. In this paper, the author raise issues about traditions associated with people who lived in the Age of Jahiliyah in hadiths that are prohibited in Islam. Among these traditions was a gambling, harming animals, and drinking the wine, such as the reason for revelation about the prohibition of drinking alcohol, drinking alcohol it self, as well as sanctions for wine drinkers. This study will determine the accuracy all of those hadiths, especially the accuracy in historical perspective. If those hadiths meet the criteria for the validity of the hadith, then they can be used as a source of Islam.

Abstract

Arabic language is a language used in al-Quran, thus, it is always used in ritual worship by all moslems throught out the world. For al-Quran is considered as the way of life, Arabic also functions as remainding language. In 1973, Arabic language was officially used in United Nation Organization. Not only is it as religious language, but it is as civilization language as well. Due to its functions, Arabian scientist have developed it as they have got some experiences from the great civilized countries. On their efforts, there had been some books or references translated into Arabic language, and thus broadened worldview of Arabians.  In Indonesia, Arabic developes in line with Islamic progress. Arabic is used/spoken in ulama community, boarding school, religious school, even it was integrated in Indonesian language at least in vocabulary building

Abstract

Organisasi Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) merupakan mitra sejajar pemerintah dalam menyelenggarakan pendidikan nasional yang mempunyai kesempatan yang sangat luas untuk berperan serta dalam mewujudkan tujuan organisasi, pendidikan sebagaimana disebut dalam Undang-undang RI. No. 20 tahun 2003 tentang pendidikan Nasional. Para penanggungjawab penyelenggaraan pendidikan di lingkungan NU harus memiliki komitmen yang untuk terlaksananya proses pendidikan dan pembelajaran yang bermutu, yang senantiasa mendapat dukungan dari masyarakat dan pemerintah.

Abstract

This paper aims at explaining the Islamization conducted through cultural form. Using descriptive method, this research tries to illustrate three froms of Islamization through literary from conducted in Indonesia during pre-colonization, colonization and modernization. The Islamization during pre-colonialisation was marked by the rise of literary from adapted from Middle East or from local tradition. In the second period, during colonial period, literary from occurred as the response of political struggle between the colonizer and colonized. This condition continued after the colonization ended. Yet, the rise of literature which has Islamic background nowadays seems to be a new phenomenon. How is this new phenomena explained?

Abstract

AbstractThis research aimed to describe and compare the patient engagement quality of the four basic specialist services in the in-patient installation in Haji Local General Hospital of South Sulawesi Province. This research was a comparative descriptive research. The research sample comprised the group respondents of in-patients the four basic specialist services. The result of the research revealed that patient engagement quality as perceived by the patients was categorized as good (73,9%); the patient engagement related to the doctor's capacity to listen to  and  encourage  the  patients  to  ask  questions  was  categorized  as  good (78,4%); in making a decisions was not good (63,6%); the ability of the doctor to  give  and  explain  the  information  to  patients  was  good  (63,1%).  The duration of consultation was good (56,8%); while the empathy given to the patients was categorized as good (83,5%). As for the quality of the patient engagement in the four sub-parts of the basic specialist services, the quality of the patient engagement was significantly different from one another (p=0,000).
