Abstract

Global warming is an issue that is currently often discussed by many people. One of the causes of global warming can be seen from the use of quite a lot of electrical energy in a building or building. This pressures the architects to play a role in designing a building that can save energy by paying attention and utilizing the surrounding climate conditions. Energy saving architecture is a concept that is offered to reduce excessive energy use. The object under study is the phinisi tower by collecting descriptive qualitative data. The purpose of this research is to find out the concept of applying energy saving phinisi towers that we can see with designs that make better use of climate in the context of natural ventilation.

Abstract

One of the companies engaged in beauty products is Millionaire Club Indonesia (MCI). The products offered are beauty products without chemicals and are certainly safe for women's bodies. The product is called Nano spray and Magic Stick. The MCI company applies a purchase order system in product marketing. So that the MCI company to stock the sales. Consumers can order in advance to get the goods. The purpose of this research is to find out the amount of fluctuation of Nano Spray and Magic Stick sales and to know the minimum purchase order of Nano Spray and Magic Stick in 2019 with mathematical modeling methods and linear programs. The results of the study are as follows: (1) There was a fluctuation (increase or decrease) in sales of Nano Spray and Magic Stick. Nano Spray sales are always more than Magic Stick sales. This proves that Nano Spray enthusiasts are more numerous than Magic Stick enthusiasts. Nano Spray and Magic Stick products, the most sales occurred in the month of 4 (April) and the lowest sales in the month of 12 (December). (2) The form of modeling to minimize Nano Spray and Magic Stick purchase orders in 2019 that is, for is the number of Nano Spray purchase orders in the month-to-month and is the number of Magic Stick purchase orders in the month-to-month. The minimum number of Nano Spray and Magic Stick purchase orders in 2019 is 15,552 units with the number of Nano Spray and Magic Stick purchase orders in 2019 respectively being 8337 units and 7215 units.

Abstract

This work was aimed to review not only variations and defenition of functional food as well as its positive impact on health but also diseases which correspond with poor diet and its correlation to certain health status, consumers’ attitude and perception on functional food and potential of food from farm-based become functional food.  There are 14 groups of bioactive as ingridient of food which have strong correlation toward status and sort of helath for instance, prebiotics and probiotics. As an effort to avoid the occurence of some diseases due to low nutrient diet, community development in terms of advocation and education play pivotal role on the impotance of functional food consumption. Yet, it is need support from local government as nearest authority to community and other stakeholders. Involving all stakelholders would be maximizing functional food production and it could be maintained its sustainability.

Abstract

The aim of this study was to determine the effect of Gracilaria gigas raw liquid organic fertilizer, eggshell and banana peel on the growth and production of mustard caisim plants and to find out the most optimal concentration on the growth and production of mustard greens .. Liquid organic fertilizer made with the composition of Gracilaria gigas 2.5 kg, egg shell 1 kg, banana peel 2.5 kg, water 8 liters, sugar 2 kg and EM4 1 liter. This study used four treatments with a concentration of each treatment that is 0% as control, 5%, 10%, 15%, 20%, for 30 days after the cabbage plant is treated. The design used in this study was a Completely Randomized Design consisting of 4 treatments with 6 replications. The results showed that administration of liquid organic fertilizer from Gracilaria gigas, eggshells and banana peels had a significant effect (p <0.05) on plant height, number of leaves, and wet weight of mustard greens. The conclusion generated in this study is the use of liquid organic fertilizer from Gracilaria gigas, egg shells and banana peel with a concentration of 10% can increase the growth and production of cabbage caisim plants well.

Abstract

Tekanan operasi pada sistem Rotating Filter dapat mempengaruhi laju aliran penyaringan. Seksi uji penelitian menggunakan dua silinder konsentris yang silinder bagian dalam berputar berfungsi sebagai membran. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui pengaruh tekanan operasi terhadap laju aliran penyaringan. Penelitian dilakukan dengan cara mengubah tekanan masuk ke dalam seksi uji dengan mengatur gate valve pada Rotating filter. Gate valve digunakan untuk mengontrol variasi tekanan operasi sesuai yang divariasikan. Variasi tekanan operasi yaitu: 77 kPa, 70 kPa, 58 kPa, 47 kPa, dan 39 kPa dilakukan pada kondisi suhu campuran fluida 14oC. Porousitas membran yang digunakan 1 μm dengan debit umpan Qfeed = 0,2 gpm. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada tekanan 39 kPa: 6,661 L/m2.mnt, 47 kPa: 6,777 L/m2.mnt, 58 kPa; 6.864 L/m2.mnt, 70 kPa: 6.950 L/m2.mnt, 77 kPa: 7.066 L/m2.mnt. Laju aliran meningkat saat tekanan operasi naik dan menurun saat waktu penyaringan bertambah. Laju aliran bertambah karena tekanan operasi naik menyebabkan daya dorong meningkat sehingga jumlah partikel yang terhambat semakin sedikit. Sedangkan laju aliran menurun karena jumlah partikel semakin meningkat sehingga terjadi fouling/pengendapan yang dapat menyebabkan efisiensi membran menurun.

Abstract

Slum area is an area with a high population density in a city that is generally inhabited by poor people. Slums can be found in various major cities in the world. Slums are generally associated with high levels of poverty and unemployment. The rapid development of urban settlements is caused by population growth and urbanization which has resulted in slums. One of the slums in Makassar is located on Jl. Maccini Kelurahan Maccini Sombala, Makassar City. Residents who live in groups and build houses without thinking about space for housing support facilities. The houses in this settlement are semi-permanent and not permanent. Most are in the form of houses on stilts with very limited infrastructure, such as lack of road facilities, environmental drainage, clean water, waste water, and solid waste. The level of income of the population is very low where most residents work as fishermen, small traders, and artisans. The purpose of this study was to identify the characteristics of slums in Maccini Sombala Village. The benefits of this research are input for the Regional Government and the local community to formulate slum reduction policies, develop slum settlement structuring strategies by reviewing current conditions and alternative structuring in the future. From the results of primary and secondary data acquisition, the author uses a qualitative analysis method that is describing the data which is then followed by interpretation and conclusions. Presentation of data descriptively is by explaining, describing, and solving problems that are closely related to this research. The results of identification of residential buildings, the technical requirements of the building is known that 81% of buildings are not in accordance with the requirements in terms of safety, comfort, and health and 19% of livable buildings (according to building standards).

Abstract

Phylogenetics is known as a study related to biological science. Phylogenetics provides facilities in the fields of human epidemiology, ecology, and evolutionary biology. In evolutionary science, this field of science is used to integrate spatial data in detecting the journey of living things over time. In health biology, the development of this science is also used to detect the spread of disease/pathogens from a region to the global direction. Phylogenetic analysis is able to describe the origin of the disease, the pattern of distribution, and speciation. In the pandemic analysis, several diseases that have been analyzed are the Chikungunya virus outbreak in 2007, Ebola and H3N2 influenza virus in 2014, and the SARS-CoV-2 virus in 2020. The study results reveal that the SARS-CoV-2 virus has three variants of lineage groups, namely types A, B, and C. The Covid-19 virus type A was first discovered in Wuhan City, China. Meanwhile, the type A virus mutation is seen in the United States and most of these viruses have also been found in corona positive patients from Australia. The Covid-19 type B virus was detected in patients living in East Asia, while the Covid-19 type was concentrated in the European region.

Abstract

Perkembangan kawasan dan aktivitas warga kampus yang signifikan mendorong penataan lanskap kurang memadai. Salah satunya adalah permasalahan reklame yang mengurangi citra visual dan lanskap kawasan. Sebagian besar reklame terpasang tanpa adanya pengawasan dari pihak kampus, sehingga pada momentum tertentu misalnya pada saat penerimaan mahasiswa baru akan terjadi overlapping pemasangan reklame. Selain itu terdapat kebiasaan mahasiswa yang menampilkan visual reklame yang kurang sesuai dengan tatanan akademik di UIN Alauddin Makassar. Sejauh ini perkembangan teknologi telekomunikasi dan informatika (telematika) sangat dimungkinkan untuk melakukan integrasi teknologi dan penataan reklame dalam kampus. Langkah awal yang dapat dilakukan adalah mengidentifikasi lokasi di dalam Kampus UIN Alauddin Makassar yang prioritas untuk dijadikan sebagai lokasi pemasangan  reklame kampus. Rancangan dan pelaksanaan penelitian dilakukan dengan metode deskriptif dengan jenis metode studi kasus dengan menggunakan data sekunder dan data primer. Teknik analisis yang digunakan mencakup analisis secara kualitatif dan analisis hirarki proses. Hasil penelitian diperoleh pemasangan reklame cenderung tidak beraturan dan tidak sesuai dengan teknis pemasangan terhadap kondisi lingkungan sekitar. Kondisi ini mendorong munculnya visual negatif pada 4 segmen yang mempunyai fungsi bangunan penting dan nilai vital dalam lingkungan kampus.

Abstract

Penelitian ini tentang Analisis Mitigasi Permukiman Kumuh di Sekitar Sungai Je'neberang Kelurahan Sungguminasa Kabupaten Gowa. Pokok permasalahannya adalah Bagaimana konsep mitigasi permukiman kumuh di sekitar tanggul Sungai Je’neberang Kelurahan Sungguminasa Kabupaten Gowa? Masalah ini dilihat dengan kondisi Secara fisik permasalahan yang muncul di permukiman sekitar Sungai Je’neberang Kelurahan Sungguminasa Kabupaten Gowa adalah merebaknya hunian dengan kondisi semi permanen yang menempel pada sisi tanggul Sungai Je’neberang. Maka, dengan demikian penelitian ini menggunakan analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Alat analisis ini digunakan untuk menganalisis kondisi fisik dasar di lokasi penelitian yakni analisa data yang bertujuan untuk menggambarkan keadaan wilayah pengamatan atau sesuai data yang diperoleh yaitu mengklasifikasikan dan menyajikan data dalam bentuk tabel, penguraian dan gambar dan analisis ini dilakukan untuk mempertimbangkan kondisi fisik yang ada di lokasi penelitian guna mengantisipasi berkembangnya permukiman kumuh di sekitar sungai Je’neberang.

Abstract

Ekosistem hutan mangrove sejatinya memiliki potensial produksi yang sangat tinggi. Tidak diragukan lagi bahwa hutan mangrove mampu meredam kecepatan dan kekuatan gelombang. Ekosistem mangrove sangat rentang jika dihadapkan dengan perkembangan kota. Kenyataannya, proyek tersebut terkadang bersinggungan langsung dengan masyarakat. Masyarakat yang merasakan dampak yang paling besar adalah nelayan. Pemerintah terkadang secara paksa memperoleh hak atas wilayah pesisir dari masyarakat, kemudian membuka hutan mangrove, lalu menimbunnya dengan pasir untuk kepentingan pembangunan proyek. Penelitian terbaru mengenai kematian spesies mangrove menjelaskan bahwa spesies yang tergolong dalam mangrove mungkin terpengaruh oleh perubahan iklim dunia. Rehabilitasi merupakan strategi kunci untuk mengimbangi deforestasi mangrove yang terus berlanjut di seluruh wilayah tropis.
