Abstract

This research is motivated by the problems in many emerging areas of practice mounting braces illegally because it did not have permission from related institutions on the establishment of this office and the personnel who handle was not derived from the experts that dentist and orthodontic specialist. The price offered was very cheap in comparison to prices offered by dentists so as to make people more interested in coming to this place compared to the dentist. Seeing the enormous interest in the communities terhapat existence of this practice makes the existence of such practices have sprung up everywhere. The purpose of this penelitaian to know how the business activities and the mounting braces to know the advantages and disadvantages derived from running this business. This study used qualitative research methods. The selected research locations are in Keluraahan Simpang Tiga subdistrict Bukit rayaKota Pekanbaru. This study determines the main subject amounted to 7 people. Data collection techniques, among others, the method of observation and interviews as well as dokumentasi.Adapun results of research on the business activities of the installation of these braces is the installation of braces illegal activity in the district of Bukit Raya has been running from 2010 and mushroomed across the region due to numerous requests from the public (consumers ) will be the installation of braces. Installation of braces illegal conducted by business owners with self-taught skills mempuni without harm consumers in terms of health and very dangerous for the health of your teeth and mouth. Therefore, for Pekanbaru City Health Department in order to curb illegal businesses braces installation operating in Bukit Raya subdistrict and other environment sub-kecaatan Pekanbaru. And expected business owners illegal installation of braces in order to obtain a business license and provide physician practices Orthodontist in order not to harm consumers.Keywords : Illegal, Orthodontist

Abstract

This research aimed to describe the changing of Iran nuclear policy era President Hassan Rouhani. This research aims to look at the different policy of the President Iran, be-tween Mahmoud Ahmadinejad (2005-2013) and Hassan Rouhan 2013-present). In 2012, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has rejected the agreement with P5+1 (America, Russia, England, France, China plus Germany) to stop their uranium enrichment. It cause some sanctions for Iran from United Nations Security Council. The the impact of sanctions on Iran including high inflation, low growth, and coagulation asset in foreign state.The perspective that applied in this research is behavioralist , level analysis of indi-vidual, and also use theory from William D. Coplin about of foreign policy-making, there are three things to be considered by a leader in taking a foreign policy; the domestic political conditions, economic and military conditions, and international context.Hassan Rouhani as a new president of Iran tries to rebuild the economy of Iran, by undertake a nuclear talks with P5+1 state. These negotiations resulted an interim deal for six months (since November 2013 until May 2014). Which Iran agreed to suspend uranium enrichment, willing to dilute the uranium up to five percent of maximum limit, and not build-ing new centrifuges for uranium enrichment. In return, Iran would get liquefaction in foreign asset amounted to US$ 7 billion, their right to export and import oil, and acknowledgment in their nuclear for peace programme.Keywords: Behavioralist, foregin policy-making, Iran, nuclear, P5+1

Abstract

The high level of "Abstentions" on the implementation of the elections had a warm conversation today. The purpose of this study was to determine the attitude of the form "Abstentions" and factor in the emergence of an attitude "Abstentions" Governor elections in the first round in 2013 in the village Ridan Permai Bangkinang City of Kampar District. This research used descriptive quantitative method. The sampling method that used was "Simple Random Sampling". Obtained a number of 123 respondents. For collecting data, the researcher used interview and documentation, for processing the data using descriptive quantitative method. Results of "Abstentions" in community has the following forms, namely attitude, the attitude of alienation, anomie, cynicism and apathy. The factors that encourage the emergence of an attitude "Abstentions" was a factor instrumental rational action, value of rational action, affective actions, as well as traditional measures. This study concluded that there should the improvement of public confidence towards the implementation of the elections by the committee that the Commission and political parties as participants in the elections, as candidates, leaders of political parties are carried.Keywords: Gubri Elections In 2013

Abstract

This research aims to find out the efforts of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) against drug problems in Indonesia. UNODC is one of organizations under the UN Security Council which responsible for fighting various forms of drug trafficking and international crime. UNODC declared drug problems as serious problems for the international community. The effects of drugs can contribute to poor health and death. Not only that, the drug problem also involves the wearer as a drug courier who makes circulation more widespread. These results indicate that the efforts of the UNODC against drug problems in Indonesia by implementing UNODC programs. Some efforts are made the UNODC through alternative development programs to replace the marijuana plants, the global launch of the SMART program as a source of information exchange for Indonesia, implement the program country Indonesia and support pilot rehabilitation projects in Indonesia.Keyword : United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), drugs problem, Alternative Development, Global SMART Programme, Country Programme Indonesia, Pilot Project.

Abstract

This Study almed to determine the role of Kampar district head in coordinate security and public order inthe district of Kampar, Kampar regency. This study is focused on the district head of the Kampar because considering the dostrict head given task is to coordinate the security and order. The issues of security and order in the district of Kampar had increase from 2012 to 2013. The role of district head’s in coordinating security and public order in the distric of Kampar which is based on the basic tasks of district head whhich has been mandated by law. In the implementation, there are still constraints faced by the district head in coordinating security an public order with the relevan agencies. Based on this background, the study and public order in the district of Kampar, and what are the factors of less optimal of district head’srole in coordinating the implementation of security and public order in the district of Kampar, Kampar regency.This research is descriptive in wich research provides a description or picture of the phenomenon or social phenomenom studied by describing the independent variables systematically and accurately. Method of data collection is with In-depth interview and study documentation. The result of study indicate that the role of tge district head’s in coordinating security and public order in the district of Kampar, Kampar regency based on task assignment regulated by law. In the implementation inter-agency between the agencies found that there are lack of coordination with each other. Whereas, the synergy of each agency is required in the administration of public security and order in the district of kampar, Kampar regency.Keywords : Role, District, Security and Public Order

Abstract

Humans and the environment is essentially a building that should be mutually reinforcing because humans are extremely dependent on its environment while the environment also depends on the activity and human activity. But seen from the human side, the environment is something that is passive, while humans are active, so that environmental quality is very dependent on human qualities.Coastal pollution is one form of ecological crisis and one form of damage to the water resources of the river and the sea caused by the removal of industrial waste and household waste into the river. The relationship between the city with the waterfront area has existed since the beginning of human civilization. Where in the past the development of civilization city water body is the only one of the most efficient transport infrastructure, so that the transportation factor into a key contributing factor to the development of a city.This research was conducted in RW 07 is housed in the village of Tanjung Rhu, District Fifty Pekanbaru. The purpose of this study was to determine the socio-economic and cultural conditions of communities on the outskirts of the Siak River in the village of Tanjung Rhu RW 07 Fifty District of Pekanbaru city, as well as To To know how to survive on the fringes of society in RW 07 Siak River Village Tanjung Rhu District of Fifty Cities Pekanbaru.This research is a qualitative descriptive study, the subjects in this study were residents of RW 07 which is housed in the village of Tanjung Rhu, District Fifty Pekanbaru many as eight families. The sampling technique research is purposive sampling technique, which the researchers have determined the subject of research based on the characteristics desired by the researchers according to the issues to be investigated. The number of study subjects were determined based on the following criteria : Location Research is a densely populated area, including flood and disaster-prone domiciled research subjects above 10 years.Based on the survey results revealed that the adaptation of rural communities in the Siak river study sites, namely the more often people Village Tanjung Rhu RW 07, District of Pekanbaru City Fifty adaptation action, more action adjustment is made public with the environment in order to survive. Most of livelihood as day laborers and the income earned is uncertain. Abstract

Institutions of economic unit village savings and loans ( EUD – SP ) beimbai timber bay village districts bunian pelangeran kabupaten Indragiri downstream are microfinance institutions ( MFIS) which is in the form of the village / village though consensus to manage the funds of rural enterprises ( DUD ) and funds derived of the activities of savings and loan society beimbai wood bunian.ada bay village was doing agency business in the economic unit village savings and loans ( UED – SP ) beimbai timber bay village bunian is managing the funds of rural enterprises and lending money to people who do business either indivudually economy or even in groups. as an institutions – based community empowerment such as savings and loan institution economy unit village / village savings and loans ( UED – SP ) paddle beimbai bay village bunian become a frontline in helping economic enterprise communities for more admanced and independentin achieving welfare, also has the function to economic empowerment of the poor so that they com out for the vicious circle of poverty. Abstract

This study entitled University Students as Social Media Users (A Study on The Social Media Function for Students of Social and Political Sciences Faculty, Riau University). This study interested to conduct this topic because of the phenomenon of social media usage arround the writer. Afterwards, this study wanted to find out what the most popular social media in Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Riau University. It related to the reason in choosing the social media for university students.To find out the result of this study, the writer used data collect technique by using observation, and questionnaire. The way how the writer took the sample or respondent is quota sampling technique. In determining quota sampling as many as 10 people for each International Relationship, Public Administration, Bussiness Administration, and Tourism major. Then as many as 15 people for each Sciences of Government, Communication, and Sociology. So that, gets the total respondent was 85 people. The method used is descriptive quantitative.The result of this study showed that the most popular social media for university students of Faculty of Social and Political Sciences was instagram. Because they tended to keep abreast of the times and easier to use than other kind of social media. Whereas besides the function of social media was forming cybercommunity, for university students the function of social media was the source of information and entertain. The result of this study is expected to be able to provide and overview to all those who need information about University Students as Social Media Users.Keywords : University Students, User, Social Media

Abstract

The research is was conducted to test effect of capital structure to profitability in industry of textile and garment company listed at indonesian stock exchange. Which is indicated by the capital structure of Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) and profitability as indicated by Return On Equity (ROE). The research population is the industry of textile and garment companies listed on the indonesian stock exchange during the period 2008-2012. In financial statements include the value of financial ratios examined included DER and ROE. Which have fluctuated during financial statement period 2008-2012. Obtained a total sample of 30 financial statements obtained throught sampling technique is purposive sampling.Analytical techniques data used is simple regresi linier and hipotesis test used t-statistics, to relationship test by correlation, and kooefecience determination to determine the effect of DER toward ROE by using SPSS program.The result of the analysis indicate that DER significant negative effect on ROE industry of textile and garment companies listed on the indonesian stock exchange period 2008-2012. At level of significance is less than 5% (0,000%). DER contribution to ROE is 66%, as indicated by the R-square of 66%, while the remaining 44%, are influenced by other factors not included in the research model.Key words: Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) and Return On Equity (ROE)

Execution of Promotion is networking of target and target, policy and order giving direction to effort marketing of company from time to time, at every level and reference and also its location, especially as response of company in face of environment and circumstance of emulation changing. Minatpasien grow because an motif of pursuant to attribute suit fancy and its requirement in using an service activities, pursuant to the mentioned hence the company have to precisely design strategy of marketing to draw enthusiasm from within x'self of consumer is in order to interested to product of service which on the market so that if consumer have had an interest in the product hence there will be decision to buy the product and generate decision of consumer buy.This research is conducted in Hotel of Ratu Mayang Garden Pekanbaru which have location in road street of General Sudirman, Pekanbaru. Target of this Research is conducted to know influence of execution of promotion to decision of buy of at Hotel Ratu Mayang Garden Pekanbaru.In this research is methodologies used by quantitative and descriptive with program SPSS, where sampel used by that is patient of visitor of Hotel Ratu Mayang Garden Pekanbaru and as source of information is HRD, Front of Office and Manager marketing. To determine sampel use formula Slovin, method of sampling by accidental sampling. Technics of data collecting of through interview, observation and kuesioner.From result analyse data covering validity test, reabilitas, and linear regresi modestly, execution of promotion in research of inimeliputi 4 that good component is advertisement, publicity, sales promotion, and the personal sale.
