Abstract

Cosmetic products that do not have a notification or illegal number that is not in accordance with the applicable regulations are still a problem for the people of Pekanbaru. This result can be seen by the fact that there are cosmetic distribution facilities selling illegal cosmetics that have not been controlled by BBPOM in Pekanbaru. The study discusses the controlling of illegal cosmetics circulation by BBPOM in Pekanbaru. The purpose of this study was to find out how the controlling carried out by BBPOM on the circulation of cosmetics in Pekanbaru City. This study uses descriptive qualitative methods. This study uses Stoner, Freeman and Gilbert’s controlling theory with standard setting indicators and performance appraisal methods, performance appraisal, comparing performance with standards, taking corrective actions. The results of the research show that BBPOM’s controlling of the circulation of illegal cosmetics products in Pekanbaru has not been effective due to the lack of human resources to conduct supervision, the cost of controlling that must be regulated or planned and the participation of the public in controlling is still lacking. Therefore, in order for controlling to be effective it is necessary to increase the number of employees, plann costs in controlling and provide guidance to business actors and also to consumers. Abstract

Sungai Hijau is one of the Natural Tourism Objects located in Salo Village, Salo District, Kampar Regency. Sungai Hijau is a small river with clear water and filled with small rocks along its base. Moss that grows in a number of small rocks and aquatic plants that grow on the banks of the river make this river more green. The Sungai Hijau Natural Tourism Object is divided into four tourist attraction locations, namely Sungai Hijau 1, 2, 3 and 4. The number of locations of the Sungai Hijau Natural Tourism Object resulted in competition among the owners of the Sungai Hijau Nature Tourism Object. The purpose of this study was to determine the forms of competition in the management of the Sungai Hijau Natural Tourism Object and the impact of competition on the management of the Sungai Hijau Natural Tourism. This study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive analysis. The selection of informants in this study was carried out with a purposive sampling technique that is taking data from informants based on certain criteria. These criteria are the owners of each of the Sungai Hijau Natural Tourism Objects who also participated in managing the Sungai Hijau Natural Tourism Object. Data collection techniques used in this study were interviews, observation, documentation. The results of this study state that the forms of competition in the management of the Sungai Hijau Natural Tourism Object include competition in terms of economy, culture and political. Abstract

The 86 program on NET TV shows the duties of police officers and their daily activities in carrying out their duties such as curbing traffic violators, fostering people who have violated the rules of order, and disclosing drug syndicates in various regions. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of program 86 on NET TV on the image of the Republic of Indonesia Police in Pekanbaru Satuna Vocational School students as well as how much influence the 86 TV program on the image of the Republic of Indonesia Police on SMK Satuna Pekanbaru students.The method used in this research was quantitative explanatory. Questionnaires was used for collecting the data of the research.  The study was conducted at SMK Taruna Satria Pekanbaru. There were 166 respondents as the sample of this research. The sampling technique used accidental sampling. The theory used in this study was the Stimulus Response theory. The analysis test used in this study was simple linear regression analysis and to processed the questionnaire data, carried out by using SPSS for Windows version 19. The results obtained from the simple linear regression analysis in this study are that there is a significant effect between Program 86 Impressions on Net TV Against Republic of Indonesia Police Images to Students of SMK Taruna Satria Pekanbaru and the magnitude of the influence between 86 Program Impressions on Net TV Against the Indonesian Police at the Students of SMK Taruna Satria Pekanbaru amounting to 60.7% which is categorized as a strong influence, while the remaining 39.3% is influenced by other factors not used in this study. Keywords: Impressions, , 86, The Image Of Police, SMK Taruna Satria Pekanbaru

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim to find out the Effect of Service Performance and Price Pieces on Consumer Loyalty (Case Study on Simply Fresh Laundry- Pekanbaru). This study uses quantitative research and a sample of 92 respondents who are consumers of simply fresh laundry - pekanbaru. Data collection methods used in this study were questionnaires with purposive sampling technique. The results showed that service performance variables directly influence the price discount variable, the price discount variable directly influences the consumer loyalty variable, the service performance variable has a direct effect on consumer loyalty, and the service performance variable has an indirect effect on consumer loyalty variables. Keywords: Service Performance, Price Discounts and Consumer Loyalty.

Abstract

Public service is basically an effort carried out by a person, group or bureaucracy to provide assistance and facilities to the community in achieving a certain goal. The purpose of a public service in general is to be able to satisfy the public regardless of anything. The background of this research is that the staff of the Long Ikis Sub-District Office in public services lacked discipline so that the services provided at the Camat's Office were not optimal. The formulation of the problem from this research is How is the application of employee discipline in public services at the Office of the Long Ikis Sub-District of Paser Regency, East Kalimantan in 2016?This study aims to determine the application of employee discipline in public services at the Office of the Long Ikis Sub-District of Paser Regency, East Kalimantan Province in 2016 and to find out the causes of indiscipline in public services at the Office of the Long Ikis Sub-District in East Kalimantan Paser Regency in 2016. This study uses qualitative with descriptive research types. Data collection techniques used were interviews and documentation. Data analysis was carried out in a descriptive manner on the Discipline of Employees in Public Service in the Office of the Long Ikis District Head of 2016 obtained from written documents and interviews.The results showed that the discipline of employees in public service at the Long Ikis Sub-District Office in 2016 had not run optimally, this was seen from several problems such as time discipline, task discipline and behavioral discipline. The reasons for the low discipline of employees in public services at the Office of the Long Ikis Sub-District of Paser Regency in East Kalimantan in 2016 are due to goals and abilities, role models, inherent supervision, legal sanctions and firmness. Keywords: Local Government, Public Service, Discipline

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the marketing mix and the quality of service on purchasing decisions (study in the semoga sukses cell Pekanbaru) partially and simultaneously. Marketing mix and service quality as independent variables () while purchasing decisions as the dependent variable (Y). this research was conducted at semoga sukses cell Pekanbaru which is located at Jalan Lembaga Permasyarakatan No. 15 B Pekanbaru. In this study the methodology used was descriptive and quantitative with the SPSS program, where the sample in this study were customers of semoga sukses cell Pekanbaru many as 100 respondents. To determine the sample using the Slovin formula, the sampling technique with accidental sampling. Techniques for collecting data through questionnaires. From data analysis which includes validity test, reliability test, classic assumption test, simple linear analysis, multiple linear analysis, determination analysis and significance test by testing t test (partial) and f test (simultaneous). The results of this study indicate that the results of testing the first t test hypothesis, marketing mix of purchasing decisions is tarithmetic (15,089) > ttabel  (1,984) means that the marketing mix has a significant effect on purchasing decisions. Second, the quality of service to purchasing decisions is tarithmetic (10,817) > ttabel  (1,984), which means that service quality has a significant effect on purchasing decisions. Test results F marketing mix and service quality on purchasing decisions are (163,044) >  (3,09).  This means that the marketing mix and service quality simultaneously have a significant effect on purchasing decisions.  Keywords: Marketing Mix, Service Quality, Purchase Decision

Abstract

This study aims to determine how much influence organizational culture and organizational commitment to turnover intention. The sample in this study was taken as many as 56 respondents and the measurement technique used was simple random sampling technique. The data in this study used a survey through questionnaires diidi by employees. Data obtained using simple regression analysis and multiple regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that organizational culture has a significant negative effect on turnover intention. Organizational commitment has a negative and significant effect on turnover intention. And simultaneously organizational culture and organizational commitment have a significant effect on turnover intention. Further researchers are advised to use other methods in researching turnover intention, for example through in-depth interviews with respondents.  Keywords: Organizational Culture, Organizational Commitment and Turnover intention

Abstract

Street vendors are economic activities that operate in the informal sector which have a negative and positive impact. Pekanbaru City Government overcomes the problem of street vendors who sell on the shoulder of the road by carrying out fostering. At present, fostering of street vendor is being carried out in stages, one of which is by building the Teratai Higienis Madani. The purpose of this research was to find out the fostering management of street vendors by Trade and Industry Agency in Teratai Higienis Madani Market Area Pekanbaru City and the inhibiting factors of management of street vendors. The research uses the theory of management function concepts according to Terry dalam (Torang, 2016) which has an indicator of Planning, organizing, actuating, and controlling. This research method uses a qualitative method of case study approach, with data collection techniques including: observation, interviews, and documentation. The research informants were selected through purposive sampling and snowball sampling techniques. Research results show that the fostering management of street vendors is not optimal so that traders do not last long selling in the Market. The inhibiting factors in the Management of Coaching of Street Vendors are public policy, control, participation of traders, facilities and infrastructure, budget. Suggested as the government can optimize the management of the management of street vendors by more assertive and active in controlling and fostering.Keyword: Management, Fostering, Street Vendors

Abstract

 Division of tasks within an organization is important because it can affect the results of the performance of an organization are the same as the unit of Polis Pamong Praja Kora the weekend's new Division of labor, working hours, hours of operation already in the field Please specify in order to produce quality employees and quantity. The question of quality, quantity and availability of a number of agencies also issue, number of apparatus which are limited and not balanced with the workload of each employee fits the responsibilities in the gariskan organizational unit of the Pamong Praja police. It is each of the predefined target volume of work is reached. This research issue is how the police workload analysis of Pamong Praja (Satpol PP) town of Pekanbaru. the purpose of this research is to analyze the workload of police Pamong Praja (Satpol PP) town of Pekanbaru and to analyse what factors affect the workload of the police unit of Pamong Praja (Satpol PP) town of Pekanbaru. the concept of theory used in the study is the analysis of the workload by Moekijat (2008) which starts from the calculation of the effective working time, the time of completion of the tasks, and the needs of employees. This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods. In this study researchers using the technique of observation and interviews.  The results of this research resulted in the conclusion that the police have a number of Municipal Teachers ' workload is 1,516 hours per year. It is above the total productive time for CIVIL SERVANTS i.e. 1,440 hours per year. Thus it can be concluded that the number of workload and availability of Pamong Praja Police manpower is not balanced.  There are several factors that affect the workload of police Unit (Satpol PP) Pekanbaru city, namely: motivation, motivation owned by Satpol PP Personi must be able to move, direct and sustain the individual determination to provide the best results of a completed task. Budget workloads, attitudes displayed by personnel or groups of people will reflect the perception they have. Job satisfaction, research conducted, the average personnel of Satpol PP feel quite comfortable in carrying out the task charged. Attitude towards the task, in performing the task, the relationship between fellow personnel Satpol PP is very guarded. This is the type of task provided requires a different technique in its completion. Working organization, Satpol PP work system is not shift based, but the workload given often the time that the Satpol PP is deficient in downtime. Keywords: Workload Analysis, Satpol PP

Abstract

Tjokro Pekanbaru Hotel is a company engaged in hospitality services that aims to improve and maximize achievement in its business. For this reason, in order to face competition that is quite difficult, companies must pay attention to work motivation and employee organizational climate in order to create high organizational commitment. But in the company there are still employees who have low commitment, such as the phenomenon of the existence of employees who lack full responsibility for work. For this reason, a study was conducted on how the influence of work motivation and organizational climate on organizational commitment at Tjokro Pekanbaru Hotel. This study aims to analyze work motivation and organizational climate and its effect on organizational commitment to employees of Tjokro Pekanbaru Hotels. Work Motivation as a variable (X1), Organizational Climate as a variable (X2), and Organizational Commitment as a variable (Y). The method in this study is descriptive and quantitative using the SPSS 23 program, 43 samples were used by census methods and data collection techniques through questionnaires. The results of the analysis used the validity test, reliability test, simple linear regression test, determination coefficient test (R2), multiple linear regression test, t test and F test          From the results of data analysis it is known that work motivation has a significant effect on organizational commitment to employees of Tjokro Pekanbaru Hotels, organizational climate has a significant effect on organizational commitment to employees of Tjokro Pekanbaru Hotels, and work motivation and organizational climate have a significant effect on organizational commitment to employees of Tjokro Pekanbaru Hotels. Keywords: Work Motivation, Organizational Climate, and Organizational Commitment
