Abstract

This research was conducted at Mandiri Mart KUD Karya Bersama, located in Kerubung Jaya Village, Batang Cenaku District, Indragiri Hulu Regency. The problem in this study is the decrease in the level of sales and the failure to achieve the target for the past two years, this is allegedly due to problems in purchasing decisions. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of product diversity and service quality on consumer purchasing decisions at Mandiri Mart KUD Karya Bersama. In this study the method used was quantitative descriptive with the SPSS program. The sample of this study was 100 people from a population of 67,655 obtained from the calculation of Slovin formula. Data obtained from the results of the questionnaire were then processed to then be tested through the SPSS 20. The testing of multiple linear regression analysis from this study was    Y = 4.113 + 0.537 X1 + 0.175X2. The research that has been done shows the results that respondents' responses to product diversity and service quality are in a good category while those with consumer purchasing decisions are in the category quite agree. While the t test that has been done shows that the variable product diversity and service quality partially have a significant effect on consumer purchasing decisions. The results of the F test show that simultaneously variable product diversity and service quality have a significant effect on consumer purchasing decisions. While the calculation of the coefficient of determination (R2) obtained a value of 0.495. This shows that product diversity and service quality have an effect of 49.5% on consumer purchasing decisions on Mandiri Mart KUD Karya Bersama, while the remaining 50.5% is influenced by other variables not included in this study. Keywords: Product Diversity, Service Quality, Consumer Purchase Decision

Abstract

This research was motivated by the arrangement and guidance of Street Vendors in Simpang Baru Village, Tampan District, Pekanbaru City. Based on the Regional Regulation of Pekanbaru City Number 11 of 2001 concerning the Arrangement and Development of Street Vendors is one of the potential national development is the informal sector business, including the street vendors need to get guarantees including protection, guidance and regulation in making efforts to be efficient and effective and improve their welfare. This study directs how the evaluation of Regional Regulation No. 11 of 2001 concerning the Arrangement and Development of Street Vendors was carried out in Tampan Subdistrict, Pekanbaru City and the factors that influenced the Street Vendor Arrangement and Coaching conducted in Tampan District, Pekanbaru City. This research is a qualitative approach research, this research was conducted in Kuantan Singingi District, the technique used to collect data in this study was interviews and documentation. Based on the results of the previous research and discussion, several conclusions can be taken, namely the concept of coaching in Article 7 of Perda Number 11 of 2001 focused only on efforts to provide guidance and counseling. The pattern of guidance and counseling is not explained in detail, and does not move on how to create empowered street vendors and obtain legal protection. While the concept of supervision carried out by the Pekanbaru City Government does not also mention which agencies are authorized to supervise and how the supervision pattern will be carried out.Keywords: Policies and Street Vendors

Abstract

Japan signed a peace treaty in September 1951 with member states of the United Nations (UN) and at the same time Japan also signed a military agreement with the U.S (Japan-U.S Security Agreement). After that the role of the Japanese military in the International World was reduced, in 2015 during the reign of Prime Minister Shinzo Abe issued a new Japanese security bill, which according to Abe, the Japanese New Security Bill had a positive impact both inside and outside the country, and also increased its role in the alliance with the United States. The United States warmly welcomed the proposal and ratification of the Japan New Security Bill, the United States hoped that by implementing Japan's Japan New Security Bill it could help put the burden on Security and Defense.This research uses Realism as the Perspective by Paul.R.Viotti and Mark V.Kauppi. Realism holds that peace is formed because of the balance of power . This research use regionalization for level of analysisby Mohtar Mas’oed. This research also use using the concept of national interest by Alex Mint and the concept of foreign policy decision-making. The sources in this study were obtained from library research and internet research. Japan's New Security bill became the first step for Japan to increase its role in the defense sector and its cooperation with the United States, due to the increasing role of the Japanese military, it made a symmetrical situation in the alliance relations between Japan and the United StatesKey words : Japan New Scurity Bill, Security, Japan, Military Cooperation.

Abstract

Indonesia is working to improve its country's defense strength. Indonesian defense equipment is currently is not in a optimal condition to support Indonesia's defense. In addition to striving to improve its defense systems, Indonesia also strives to increase the independence of its defense industry to creat an independent country and reduce dependency with other countries. The sources of this research were obtained through literature reviews, books, websites, and others. The source of analysis is qualitative methods. This study uses the level of analysis of the nation state, neorealism perspective that illustrates that every country does not have to pursue strength but also must work together and the theory of International Cooperation as an answer for countries of the world international. To increase its defense strength, Indonesia is conducting defense cooperation with other countries, one of the countries that is Indonesia's defense cooperation partner, is the Czech Republic. This aims of thesis is to explain the existence of this collaboration is expected to improve Indonesia's defense capabilities and create an independent defense industry. Key Words: International Cooperation, Defense, Minimum Essential Force,  Indonesian Defense Industry.

Abstract

Companies that run their business in the midst of society is inseparable from the obligation to implement Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) that can make a meaningful contribution to the community. This study attempts to provide the effect of a corporate social responsibility (CSR) conducted by PT. PLN Persero to company image.The theory tested in this study is the SR theory, while the stimulus referred to in this study is the corporate social responsibility program implemented by PT PLN (Persero), while the response comes from the public (community). The response will show whether the CSR program has an effect positive or negative image of the company. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative. Quantitative research is research in the form of data obtained from the respondents that had been collected, processed and analyzed using statistical theory as a means of solving problems, so this method will provide certainty in decision making. Collecting data using questionnaires and documentation. Total population of as many as 8227 respondents. The sample in this study of 100 people who obtained based on the formula slovin while the sampling technique used is accidental sampling. Measurement data using a Likert scale. Data analysis techniques used in this study is a simple linear regression. The results showed sig. 0,000 obtained by measurement through SPSS version 24.0 is smaller than the probability of 0.05, thus it can be concluded that the independent variable (Corporate Social Responsibility) significantly influence the dependent variable (Corporate Image) or Ha accepted and H0 is rejected. Corporate Social Responsibility (X) has a proportion of 40.2% against the influence of Citra PT. PLN (Persero) Area Pekanbaru while the remaining 59.8% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study as the quality of human resources, corporate culture, work facilities and equipment, management systems and indormasi used, top management leadership, types and qualities, the target market, the translation of the vision and mission of the company, or the welfare of employees.

Abstract

Disaster land and forest fires are a serious problem that must faced in Riau Province nearly every year during the dry season. as part of efforts to reduce the level of forest fire in the area around PT, PT RAPP units APRIL GROUP Company initiated Fire Free Village Program ( FFVP) which began in 2015. The aim of this study is to explain how the performance of PT RAPP in prevention through FFVP in District Merbau, Meranti Islands. And explain what are the factors supporting PT RAPP performance in the prevention of forest fires and land through FFVP in District Merbau, Meranti Islands. The concept of the theory is the measurement of organizational performance by Muhammad Mahsun in (Lijen Poltak Sinambela, 2016) consisting of: set goals, objectives and strategies, formulate indicators / measures of performance, achievement of the objectives, performance evaluation. The method used is a qualitative research with case study approach, the selection of informants using purposive sampling technique. The technique of collecting data through observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this study explained that the performance of PT RAPP in the prevention of forest fires and land in the District Merbau is optimal, this is evidenced by the level of land and forest fires decreased even within the last 2 years did not fire. it is not independent of the supporting factors such as community participation, budget, socialization and communication. * Keywords :Organizational Performance, Prevention, Programs

Abstract

                Domestic violence or more commonly referred to as domestic violence is a social problem, which can hamper national development programs, which should be felt equally between men and women without discrimination. This attracted the attention of researchers with the title "The Role of Integrated Service Centers for Women and Children Empowerment (P2TP2A) in Pekanbaru City in Handling Domestic Violence in Pekanbaru City in 2016-2017", The purpose of this study was to determine the role of Pekanbaru P2TP2A in handling domestic violence cases in Pekanbaru City 2016-2017.     This study uses a qualitative research approach. While this type of research is descriptive. The types of data used are primary and secondary data and supported by the results of interviews and other supporting documents for this study, the data will be analyzed in a qualitative descriptive way. The theoretical foundation used is role theory and coordination theory                Based on the analysis of the data obtained, the conclusion is the role of the Integrated Service Center for Women and Children Protection (P2TP2A) in Pekanbaru City in handling cases of domestic violence where the role of P2TP2A in handling domestic violence is still not optimal, namely; Facilitating the outreach of victims handling community complaints, Organizing temporary shelter services for victims, and Facilitating the return of victims to their home areas and family environment, this is due to budget constraints, human resources owned by Pekanbaru P2TP2A and still lack of cooperative attitude from reporters victims so that the process of handling cases of violence has not been optimal. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to test partially and simultaneously the effect of financial leverage and company growth on financial pressures. Where the independent variable in this study is financial leverage and company growth, while the dependent variable is financial distress. This study used 9 chemical sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the 2013-2017 period, with the determination of samples using the purposive sampling method. The data in this study uses secondary data from the company's financial statements. Data analysis using simple and multiple linear regression analysis, t test, F test, and test coefficient of determination using SPSS 23 software. The results of this study indicate that the financial leverage variable partially (t test) has an effect on financial distress, the company's growth partially (t test) has an effect on financial distress in the chemical sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The test results (F) show that there is an influence between financial leverage and company growth on financial distress in the chemical sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange.  Keywords: Financial Leverage, Company Growth, Financial Distress

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to explain how the effectiveness of E-Government Implementation through Integrated Licensing Service Information System (SIPPADU) in Kuantan Singingi Regency. And explain what are the factors that hinder it. The theoretical concept used is the measurement of effectiveness by Siagian in (Wiraperdana, 2015). The research method used is a phenomenological approach to qualitative research, the selection of informants using purposive sampling technique. The technique of collecting data through observation, interviews and documentation. Research Results on the Effectiveness of E-Government Applications Through Integrated Licensing Services Information System (SIPPADU) in Kuantan Singingi District has not been effective due to several factors inhibiting network disruption, lack of training in employees, and lack of socialization to the community. It is better to achieve the success of the implementation of SIPPADU in Kuantan Singingi District, the government will increase what is the barrier to the implementation of SIPPADU.Keywords: Effectiveness, E-Government, Licensing Services

Abstract

The marriage law of the Toba Batak indigenous people regulates the role of Dalihan Na Tolu. The role of Dalihan Na Tolu is something that cannot be separated from the culture of society in the Toba Batak tradition. In a legitimade marriage, Dalihan Na Tolu has outlined and stipuled rules and regulations regarding various social relations, both  between husband and wife, between parents and siblings from each of them either party. The problems that will be discussed in this paper are about the social actors included in the Dalihan Na Tolu Toba Batak kinship system and the role of Dalihan Na Tolu in the marriage ceremony of the Toba Batak people. The approach method used in this research in descriptive qualitative research method. The data used are primary data and secondary data, and data collection is done by conducting interviews, observation and documentation. The results showed that the life of the Toba Batak indigenous people were very concerned with the collaboration between the roles of the Dalihan Na Tolu elements themselves, namely Hula-hula, Dongan Tubu, and Boru. This is also inseparable from the proverbial meaning of Dalihan Na Tolu  which unites Somba Marhula-hula, Manat Mardongan Tubu, and Elek Marboru because they contain a deep meaning and muthlak must be done if they want to prosper their lives. As fot the duty and role of Dalihan Na Tolu it began to appear at the stages of the Marhata Sinamot, Martuppol, Manjalo Pasu-Pasu Parbogason and Pesta Unjuk. In addition, the results of the study also showed that both Hula-hula. Dongan Tubu, and Boru worked together in carrying out their duties and roles.Keywords :Dalihan Na Tolu, Batak Marriage
