Abstract

Using the study of international political economy, a country which has a big economic power, in this case China, may affect the international system, particularly affecting poor countries. China has played an important role in the system of governance and the economy in Zimbabwe, a country located area of Africa. At the moment Zimbabwe is experiencing economic slump since 2008 and trade relations with Western countries stopped, the Chinese appear to be a Zimbabwe‟s trading and political partner to curb the sanction of the international community to Zimbabwe. The political crisis was also experienced by Zimbabwe, by the announcement of the Zimbabwe Democracy and Economic Recovery Act (ZDERA) by the United States and European countries. But China actually use his voting rights in the UN Security Council to block sanctions. China's next role is to help the economy of Zimbabwe by offering fresh loans, credit facilities, investment projects, and a wide range of economic cooperation. The offer was made because China has a great power in the global financial structure, in which China has the largest foreign exchange reserves compared with any country. Hyperinflation that occurred resulted in Zimbabwe should abandon its currency can no longer be used. This makes the Zimbabwean government introduce the use of multiple currencies in 2009. doubted the consistency and stability of the dollar as an international currency, making China's yuan currency offer alternatives as a means of international trade transactions. Abstract

This study aims to find out and analyze how the performance of a young person who already has a job and is able to be professional in working. This research was conducted in Pekanbaru City because it is a metropolitan city and has a high number of workers. This type of research is qualitative descriptive by using observation, interview and documentation techniques. In determining the subject of research using purposive sampling technique that is predetermined based on criteria. The number of informants from this study were 5 people. The theory used is the self-concept of Mead and the lifestyle of Baudlliard. The results of the research found by researchers were that a young worker in order to have a professional attitude must have a mature self-concept. The mature self concept found by researchers is that the informant has a plan for the future, understands the strengths and weaknesses that exist in him, and is able to adjust himself to what he is facing. As a young person who already has his own income and lives in a modern era with a high consumptive pattern, the informants found by researchers have a modern lifestyle with characteristics that are like hanging out and shopping for needs that prioritize brands rather than quality, although there are some informants who do not prioritizing brand but also quality. In this study it was found that workers must be able to distinguish attitudes and ways of interacting between fellow coworkers and their daily environment. Professionalism is needed in work because according to informants in this study, they will feel very satisfied when they have worked hard and will affect the relationship between the boss and employees.Keywords: Professionalism, Young Workers, Self Concept

Abstract

This research is in the background by the poverty of traditional fishermen in Bagan Cempedak Village. Traditional fishermen who use only canoes and paddles to search for fish are unable to compete with modern fishermen using motorized boats with sophisticated fishing gear, to meet the needs of traditional fisherman life doing side job which is done by every family member of traditional fisherman. With the formulation of the problem to know the socio-economic condition of traditional imagery at the present time and to know the strategy in the household of traditional fishermen in fulfilling their life needs. The theory used is the economic moral theory of farmer James C.Scott. This research uses descriptive Quantitative research method, where the population and samples taken in homogeneous. The sampling technique is Simple Random Sampling, the researcher gives the same right to each subject to get the chance to be selected as sample, with the number of traditional fisherman 42 respondents. From the results of research in the field that the socio-economic conditions of traditional fishermen in the Village Bagan Cempedak at the present time is very concern low their income due to technological limitations, low education and lack of capital and fishing equipment is very simple to make them have to work harder for their needs of life Fulfilled, and the traditional household fishermen's strategy is to do such as active, passive / reducing strategy and network strategy. Active is to increase or extend working hours, passive / reduces the reduced expenditure when fish miss the fish and do not save when the season is difficult at work, and network strategy is to lend to neighbors relatives or with toke, and owe to as business capital by traditional fishermen So that poverty in their household can be overcome. Then the reason for the fisherman to survive working as a traditional fisherman is due to low education, difficulty finding jobs, and old age who can not work hard.Keywords: Poverty, Traditional Fisherman, Strategy Survive

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of customer value and corporate image on customer satisfaction Alpha Hotel Pekanbaru. Customer value as variable (X1) corporate image as variable (X2) and customer satisfaction as (Y).The method in this research is descriptive and quantitative by using SPSS program, where the sample used is guest who stay more than 2 times in Alpha Hotel Pekanbaru with 100 0rang respondents. To determine the amount of smpel used slovin formula, as well as sampling techniques by accidental sampling. Data collection techniques through questionnaires and interviews.The result of analysis use multiple linear regression, t test, and f test so that it can be seen that customer value variable have positive effect to customer satisfaction, that giving image of company has a significant effect to customer satisfaction, and significant influence between customer value and company image to customer satisfaction

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know work ethos of transportation service entrepreneurs, economic behavior of transportation service entrepreneurs, and factors influencing work ethic of transportation service employers. Working ethos is according to Sukriyanto (2000) is a morale that is owned by the community to be able to work better in order to obtain the value of their lives. Someone who has a good work ethic will certainly enjoy the process of their work without much complaints so that the results obtained from his job feels more satisfying. This research was conducted at terminal of Bandar Raya Payung Sekaki Pekanbaru City. The population of this research is all transportation service business leaders, while the sample in this research is the leader of the awarded transportation service business. There are several elements of analysis in this study, the first work ethic that includes morale, future orientation, discipline, responsibility, diligence, and healthy competition. Second, economic behavior that is seen from saving, saving, and time management. Third, factors affecting work ethos are Religion, culture, social politics, environmental or geographical conditions, educational background, economic structure, and intrinsic motivation of individuals. This research technique is qualitative is a research procedure that produce descriptive data in the form of writing and behavior that can be observed from the subject itself. Based on research in the field found that the leader of the transportation service business is considered to have a high work ethic and good economic behavior, then the most dominant factors affect the work ethic of transportation service business leaders is the religion, culture and intrinsic motivation of individuals, while the no effect is the social factor political.Keywords: Ethos, Work, Entrepreneur

Abstract

This research supposed to know the the influence of work characteristics and job satisfaction on organizational citizenship behavior. This study used a questionnaire as a data collection tool that was distributed to 77 respondents at nurse in the hospital Pekanbaru Medical Center. And then, the data is processed with descriptive analysis and statistical analysis using SPSS 22.0 by conducting validity, reliability testing, simple linear regression analysis, multiple linear analysis, determination analysis (R2) and hypothesis testing with t test (partial test) and F test (simultaneous test).The results showed that the first hypothesis testing, Job Characteristics of Organizational Citizenship Behavior is t arithmetic (5.952) > t table (1.992), meaning Job Characteristics significantly influence Organizational Citizenship Behavior. Second Job Satisfaction of Organizational Citizenship Behavior is t count (5,788) > t table (1,992), meaning that Job Satisfaction has a significant effect on Organizational Citizenship Behavior. Test results F arithmetic (35,421) > F table (3.12), meaning that the Work Characteristics and Job Satisfaction simultaneously have a significant effect on Organizational Citizenship Behavior.  Keywords: work characteristics,  job satisfaction, organizational citizenship behavior.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of relationship marketing and after sales service to the consumer car brand kepusan Nissan Consumer Nissan Dealer PT. Wahana Wirawan Pekanbaru, where proposed two independent variables and one dependent variable, namely relationship marketing and after-sales service as an independent variable and customer satisfaction acts as a dependent variable.This research method is descriptive and quantitative by using SPSS 21 program, where the sample used is consumer of Nissan Dealer PT. Wahana Wirawan Pekanbaru with 100 respondents. For sampling technique using snowball method. Technique of collecting data through kusioner and interview.The results of analysis using the validity test, reliability test, detemination test, simple linear ujiregresi, multiple linear expressions, t test, and f test so that it can be seen that Relationship Marketing has a significant effect on customer satisfaction, that after sales service significantly influence consumer satisfaction, Relationship marketing and post-sale services have a significant effect on customer satisfaction.Keywords: Relationship Marketing, After Sales Service and Consumer Satisfaction

Abstract

This research aimed to determine the shift in the meaning of Rewang tradition in Tambusai village Rumbio Jaya sub-regency Kampar regency. A few years ago tradition of Rewang in Tambusai village began to experience signs of shift. This research was qualitative method. This research used theory of social change and social action theory of Weber. This research used 7 people as informants consisted of 2 key informnts and 5 informants. With technique of sampling technique purposive sampling. The results of research obtained is a shift of tradition Rewang from the past with Rewang tradition in the present. Where in the past the meaning of the Rewang tradition is to ease the burden of the owner of the party, has a high economic value, and social capital to continue social relations. While the meaning of Rewang current tradition is to increase the burden of the owner of the intent, the materialist value on the Rewang tradition, the diminished intensity of community interaction, the meaning of Rewang for the social status of the owner, the economic meaning in Rewang tradition. As for the factors behind the shifting meaning of Rewang tradition that is the presence of cooking services and packaging change of Kenduri, interest in practicality, the attitude of the teenagers who are less enthusiastic about the Rewangan tradition,the reluctance of the owners to make trouble for the neighbors, and high confidence the chef. Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Kecamatan Tampan Kota Pekanbaru. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui faktor apa saja yang mempengaruhi perilaku menyimpang pengendara sepeda motor dalam berkendara di wilayah hukum polsek Tampan Kota Pekanbaru. Topik fokus penelitian ini adalah mengenai perilaku pengendara sepeda motor dalam berkendara di wilayah hukum polsek Tampan Kota Pekanbaru. Teknik penentuan sampel secara accidental sampling. dan menetapkan jumlah sampel sebanyak 94 orang. Penulis menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif dan Instrumen data adalah observasi dan kuesioner. Penelitian yang dilakukan menemukan beberapa perilaku pengendara sepeda motor dalam berkendara di Kecamatan Tampan, yaitu: Mengabaikan rambu-rambu lalu lintas, Penelitian yang dilakukan menemukan responden jarang/kurang mengetahui makna dan fungsi dari rambu lalu lintas (62,8%). Mengabaikan aturan sikap dalam berkendara, Penelitian yang dilakukan menemukan bahwa kebanyakan pelanggaran aturan sikap yang dilakukan oleh responden adalah berkendara dengan melawan arus (48,95%). Mengubah standar keadaan sepeda motor, Penelitian menemukan bahwa 18,1% responden sering merubah standarisasi kendaraan bermotornya. Tidak melengkapi atribut berkendara, Penelitian juga menemukan bahwa tidak semua responden tidak menggunakan helm ketika berkendara (23,4%). Penelitian yang dilakukan juga menemukan bahwa terdapat beberapa faktor yang mempengaruhi perilaku pengendara sepeda motor dalam berkendara di Kecamatan Tampan, yaitu sebagai berikut: Pengetahuan, Penelitian menemukan rata-rata responden mengetahui segala marka/rambu lalu lintas secara keseluruhan. Sikap, Penelitian menemukan bahwa 87,2% responden mengetahui bagaimana sikap yang baik dalam berkendara. Keterampilan, Penelitian menemukan bahwa tidak semua responden mengetahui cara menggunakan semua jenis kendaraan bermotor atau beberapa jenis kendaraan bermotor (59,6%).Kata Kunci: Perilaku, Sikap, Tindakan Sosial

Abstract

Dalang Collection rubbish Bank is a rubbish recycling center in the city of Pekanbaru, it is useful to recycle therubbishbecomes some economical things and marketable so that it can help the communities’economy. The purpose of this research was to find out the communication innovation process of Dalang Collection rubbish bankin empowering communities through creativity treatment and determine the impact of innovation in the communications community empowerment through creativity in Rejosari kulim subdistrict pekanbaru.This study was a qualitative research method that emphasizes the descriptive approach. The subject of this studywere four informants who consisting of managers, employees, customers and RW were selected through purposive sampling technique. Technique authenticity of data in this study using the extension of participation, triangulation and the adequacy of triangulation.The results of this study show that first, the communication innovation process of Dalang Collection rubbish bank in empowering communities through creativity sewage treatment has three stages as disseminate to the public, to convey the message about the mechanisms of rubbish management, then monitoring and evaluation. Second, the impact of innovation in the communitis communications empowerment through creativity in the Rejosari kulim subdistrict pekanbaru which were consisted of social impact and economic impact. The conclusion of this study is Dalang Collection rubbish bank has been successfully utilized in disseminating the communication innovation to the public of Pekanbaru city, especially in Rejosari kulim subdistrict.
