Abstract

Film is a medium of communication which contains a lot of messages and meanings. Film is not only serves merely for entertainment but also as a medium of messenger. One form of messages that can be conveyed through the film is a social critique. Don’t Hug Me I’m Scared 4 is one of those films that use the theme of social criticism which is about the use of new media. This study aims to determine the meaning of denotation, connotation, and the myth of the Don’t Hug Me I’m Scared 4 film which represents the negative impact of new media.This study’s method is qualitative research methods with semiotic approach of Roland Barthes which consist of denotation, connotation, and myth meaning. Data was collected through documentation technique. In accordance with Barthes semiotic theory, the data analysis techniques of this study conducted in accordance with Barthes semiotic analysis framework consisting of denotation, connotation, and also myth meaning. The unit of data analysis in this study consisted of three scenes that contained in the Don’t Hug Me I’m Scared 4 film.According to denotation meaning, the negative impact of new media that represented on Don’t Hug Me I’m Scared 4 are new media has degrade privacy value of user’s personal data, new media has a tendency to give information that is not accurate, new media as a self representation medium potentially drive the users to a spoil habit, new media potentially make users trapped in overuse of entertainment and also change or even dismiss the form of interaction and socialization in real life. According to connotation meaning, the negative impact of new media that represented are new media dismiss the privacy of user’s personal data, new media has a tendency to drive users to misinformation, new media potentially raise the narcissistic behavior, new media potentially give raise to addictive effect and also make users to be alienated from their real social space. According to myth meaning, the negative impact of new media that represented are new media create a new perspective that is value of user’s personal data is no longer considered as an important thing to keep, new media cause information exceed its function limit, New media uses has a tendency to raise boasting attitude and a need to be noticed excessively within user, the using of new media give rise to psychology health problems that is Internet Addiction Disorder (IAD) and also make users be a less empathy and less sensitive toward their real society.Key Words : Representation, Semiotic, Barthes’ Semiotic, Don’t Hug Me I’m Scared 4.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the effectiveness of the World Food Programme (WFP) in addressing the food insecurity in Sierrra Leone. Sierra Leone is a country in West Africa which has the potential of natural resources. In 2009 the World Food Programme (WFP) establish a program to address the food crisis in Sierra Leone nature. Programs created aims to rehabilitate livelihoods and improve the nutrition of children and pregnant women in Sierra Leone.This study is a qualitative research with the study of literature. describe and explain the program of the World Food Programme (WFP), which is engaged in food aid. In this study, the authors use the analysis of the level of international organizations used theory is the theory of the role, perspective used in this study is the perspective of pluralism.This study addressed the World Food Programme (WFP) was able to reduce wishful crisis that occurred in sierra leone. Rebuilding livelihoods and reduce malnutrition of mothers and children through the mechanism of food-for-training, food-for-work, cash-for-work..Keywords: food insecurity, food-for-training, food-for-work, cash-for-work. Abstract

This thesis is submitted in order to quality holds a bachelor of sociology. With the title”The role of the center for study and child’s protection (PKPA) in the process of assisting victims of child sexual exploitation in city medan province north sumatera. Realities of everday life, criem of sexual esploitation of children is happening. Children are the group most vulnerable to. Child victim is often overlooked by various parties. Legal instruments in addressing the issue of sexual explotation is still minim. As children they also have the right to get the award and the best interests of her. For example, children have the right to be heard or been rewarded for her. For example, children have the right to be heard or been rewarded for his opinion it is intended thah the growth can be achieved to the maximum. Issues raised in this research is “ How the role of role of the center for study and child’s protection (PKPA) in the process of assisting victims of child sexual exploitation in city medan province north sumatera. This research aims to determine how the role of role of the center for study and child’s protection (PKPA) in the process of assisting victims of child sexual exploitation in city medan province north sumatera. Methods in this research using the case study method with qualitative approach. This research conducted center for study and child’s protection (PKPA) Province of north sumatera area surrounding child victims of sexual explotation. The data collection techniques with in depth interviwa and field observations. Then narrated the data obtained qualitatively using an inductive approach. Fact sheets on child victims of sexual explotation in disguise in research for the sake of the child protection. Abstract

Queen Star Waterpark Siak is the only water playground in Siak Regency. This Queen Star Waterpark has several attractions, visitors can swim, play, and relax enjoying a pleasant experience while on this object. To measure what the appeal of Queen Star Waterpark has met the standard of attraction at a tourist destination, and this is measured from 3 components, namely: Something To See (something to see), Something To Do (something to do), and Something To Buy (something to buy). This research will be measured and known by quantitative methods with data collection techniques of observation,interviews, documentation and questionnaires. Samples or respondents taken as many as 100 respondents. Based on the research that has been done, it shows that the characteristics of visitors are mostly women, at the age characteristics of 21-30 years, most of them are students or students and come from local visitors. The results of processed data carried out resulted in a tourist attraction score in the excellent category with a score range of 2998.  Keywords: attractiveness, visitors

Abstract

This study aims to determine the Effect Of Internally Profitability, Leverage, and Liquidity On Dividends In Plastic and Packaging Industry Companies Listed On The Indonesian. The ratio used to measure dividend is the net profit margin, return on investment, return on equity, debt to asset ratio, debt to equity ratio, current ratio, dividend payout ratio. The method used to observe the Effect Of Internally Profitability, Leverage, and Liquidity On Dividends is to use simple linear regression.    The data used in this study are secondary data, namely financial statements and annual reports. The data recorded on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for 5 years from the period 2012 to 2016. Sampling was done by purposive sampling, which used simple linear regression analysis, t test and f test. Data analysis uses several linear regression analysis with SPSS 25.      The results of the analysis show that profitability, leverage, liquidity have a significant effect on the dividend of plastic and packaging industry companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange.  Keywords: Profitability, Leverage, Liquidity, Dividends

Abstract

The Gubano Badikiu art is a traditional art must be kept. The Parit Baru desa people is a heir. They should know, care and maintain tradition art. To diagnose society perceptions about Gubano Badiku Art and what extend the Gubano Badikiu admitted by society. The society should find out Gubano Badikiu art deeply such as value and function as guidance and reference for people in daily life. The society should admit that Gubano Badikiu be able knit a communication when people usually see Gubano Badikiu art. In order Gubano Badikiu art always exist around people, so that the people should look for the way to solves the obstacle factors to lessen people interest. Toward Gubano Badikiu art. The ways to solve it involves all society, traditional leaders and goverment. Abstract

Not a few private vehicles that are used as public vehicles are operated in Kuantan Singingi Regency which is not in accordance with the established rules, as set out in Law Number 2 of 2009. Some private cars are not licensed as public transportation.Unlicensed transport routes are private / private cars with black plates.The formulation of this research problem is how the supervision of public transport route permit in Kuantan Singingi Regency in 2016 .This study aims to determine the supervisionpublic transport route permitin Kuantan Singingi Regency .This research uses qualitative research method with descriptive research type.This method aims to get a true picture of the route permit monitoring.This research finds that direct supervision conducted by the Department of Transportation Kuantan Singingi Regency done by working together with the police conduct razia street.The vehicles that were caught in the raid were given ticket and then followed up in court for termination of sanction in accordance with the violation committed.Indirect supervision by the Department of Transportation Kuantan Singingi District conducted by way of data collection public transportation operating in Kuantan Singingi.In addition, the Department of Transportation conducts evaluations and reports that are conducted every month as a form of accountabilityanswers to the tasks performed.Keywords:Monitoring, Route Permit,PublicTransport

Abstract

Development of Village Community Institutions (LKD) aims to improve communitycapacity in institutions, increase community participation in rural development, empowercommunities in all aspects of life, improve the welfare of the community and realize qualityfamilies. The Community Empowerment Institute (LPM) is a partner institution of the Villageand Sub-District Governments in the aspects of planning, implementation and control ofcommunity-based development. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of stress and work conflict on employee performance at the independent Islamic bank PT. Pekanbaru Panam. Where two independent variables and one dependent variable are proposed, namely work stress and work conflict as independent variables and employee performance as dependent variables. This research method is descriptive and quantitative by using the SPSS 21 program, where the sample used is the employee of Mandiri Syariah Bank PT. Pekanbaru Panam with 33 respondents. For sampling technique using census method. Techniques of data collection through questionnaires and interview. The result of the analysis using validity test, reliability test, determination test, simple regretion test, multiple linear regression test, t test, and f test, so that it can be seen that work stress has negative and significant effect on employee performance, that work conflict has negative and significant effect on employee performance, and that stress and work conflict have a significant effect on employee performanceKeywords : work stress, work conflict, and employee performance

Abstract

Society Sub District of Kuantan Mudik sasuku prohibit marriage, because marriage is sasuku customs that should not be done by local people, but now has anyone done the sasuku marriage. The occurrence of marriage in the District of Kuantan Mudik sasuku raises a variety of meanings partner about why they do sasuku marriage. The purpose of this study was to determine the motive of the couple to marital sasuku, to know how to interpret marriage couples sasuku, to find a marriage partner communications experience sasuku in Sub District Kuantan Mudik District Kuantan Singingi Riau Province.This study uses qualitative research methods with the presentation of descriptive analysis. informants of this research is a marriage partner sasuku, traditional leaders, parents and those closest partner, chosen by purposive sampling. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and documentation. technical validity of the data used in this study is an extension of participation and triangulation..The results obtained show that the motive for the couple to marital sasuku in Sub District Kuantan Mudik consists of motifs past the mutual love between both spouses, consent obtained from both parents, and promiscuity, while the motif future of the desire not excluded from tribes, accepted by society, and niniak mamak not hold a marriage certificate. Couple sasuku interpret marriage in the District of Kuantan Mudik as a wedding performed by couples of the same tribe, but legitimate customs violations by religion, customs penglanggaran who will be penalized, it is taboo to do. Sasuku marriage partner communications experience in the district of Kuantan Mudik consists of the positive experience they have never experienced and negative experiences that they often become the topic of conversation, in the event of their violation rate is often used as measures that are not exemplary
