Abstract

This study explains the motivation of Singapore in making the Botanic Garden a World Heritage site. There are many tourist sites that are had by the state of Singapore, namely the Singapore Botanic Garden which has been appointed by UNESCO as one of the world Heritage sites. The Singapore Botanic Garden was inaugurated in July 2015 because it meets the criteria and requirements of UNESCO to be registered as a World Heritage site.This study used the Neorealis perspective in international relations and state-of-the-nation analysis level supported by foreign policy theory This study used the concept of national interests. This research is a qualitative study with the method of deductive analysis. The research scope is the motivation of Singapore in making the Botanic Garden a World Heritage site.The study stated that motivation Singapore in making the Botanic Garden as a World Heritage site is because the Singapore Botanic Garden has the first value of history, aesthetic value, and the Singapore Botanic Garden as a research place and Conservation. The efforts made by Singapore Botanic Garden to enter the UNESCO World Heritage Site began from 2011 to 2015.Keywords: Singapore, Singapore Botanic Garden, UNESCO, World Heritage Site.

Abstract

 The handling of psychotic homeless social problems in the border and urban areas is carried out to find out how far the management efforts of psychotic larvae sufferers in order not to become homeless by the technical service and the community itself. Psychotic bums are people who experience psychiatric disorders roaming the streets. The Handsome Mental Hospital of Pekanbaru City has a duty of community service, and carries out the duty as a Mental Hospital to treat Mental Disorders and all of that has been regulated in Riau Province Regulation No. 18 of 2002, concerning the Establishment of the Organization and Work Procedures of the Handsome Mental Hospital of Pekanbaru City. The phenomena that occur are there are still many mental psychotic patients roaming the streets and crowded centers, and other facts in the field that there are still psychotic patients in their families at home so that they are not ashamed of their neighbors, and facts in the field others still lack the comparison of the number of nurses with the number of psychotic patients themselves. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the implementation of the Psychotic Disorders Program at the Handsome Mental Hospital of Riau Province. This research was conducted at the Tampan Mental Hospital of Riau Province with a descriptive method, the data collected through observation and interviews. This research was conducted by using Gibson's theory in Abdul Sadad where variables in measuring effectiveness consist of Input, Process and Output. The results of the study showed that the effectiveness of the implementation of the Psychotic Disorders Management Program in the Handsome Mental Hospital of Riau Province was less effective. It was seen from the effectiveness inputs that there were deficiencies in the process, namely program socialization which was still not felt by the community at the time the program was implemented. Abstract

Competition for the selection of ambassadors is currently rife in various fields, such as education, tourism, to the environment. These events are one of the most popular competitions for the younger generation. Through this competition, the younger generation has the opportunity to develop their potential, and this competition can be a place to seek popularity. Seeing the deteriorating environmental conditions, especially in Pekanbaru City, Dinas Lingkungan Hidup dan Kebersihan Kota Pekanbaru formed Duta Lingkungan Pekanbaru. Duta Lingkungan Pekanbaru is a representation of a group of young people selected through various selections who are expected to be at the forefront of voicing the environmental care movement and become role models for other young generations in the environmental field. This study aims to determine the front and backstage life of Duta Lingkungan Pekanbaru using Ervin Goffman's dramaturgy theory and to find out how the role of Duta Lingkungan Pekanbaru in campaigning for environmental issues. The author uses qualitative research method and uses purposive sampling technique. The data instruments are observation, interview and documentation. Based on dramaturgy analysis, the results of this study can be concluded that there are no contrasting differences between the front and backstage of Duta Lingkungan Pekanbaru. This means that Duta Lingkungan Pekanbaru is doing their job well, not just seeking popularity through this event. In carrying out its role, Duta Lingkungan Pekanbaru established a personal work program and a joint work program, namely #GenZHeTikYuk. Keyword: Duta Lingkungan Pekanbaru, Dramaturgy

Abstract

The rapid population growth will add to the complexity of the development problems being faced, especially those related to settlements. Due to limited land, people with low incomes are unable to obtain adequate land and housing, and therefore illegal settlements have emerged. In order to overcome this, the city government of Pekanbaru issued a policy in the form of a Simple Rental Flats (Rusunawa) program that can solve the problem of illegal housing that often occurs in cities and can help Low-Income Communities (MBR) in meeting the needs of a place to live that is decent and healthy. The purpose of this research is to find out how to evaluate Yos Sudarso Pekanbaru City Rental Flats program and to find out the inhibiting factors in achieving Yos Sudarso Pekanbaru City Rental Flats Program. This study used a qualitative method with a case study approach, in which the determination of the informants used purposive sampling technique and the required data, both primary and secondary data, were obtained through observation, interviews and documentation and then analyzed based on the research problem. The results showed that: Yos Sudarso's Simple Rental Flats (Rusunawa) in Pekanbaru City has not been not run optimally. It can be seen from the input evaluation that there are still shortcomings such as the lack of facilities provided by the manager. There are still obstacles in the evaluation process, the are residents who are not target, the are still many Rusunawa residents who are in arrears to pay rent. Inhibiting factors in this study were limited costs and occupants’ level of awareness. Keywords: Program, Evaluation

Abstract

Tepian Bandar Sungai Jantan Area in Siak District is one of the new tourist attractions in Siak District. As one of the new tourist attractions in Siak District, it is necessary to do an assessment of the attraction of existing attractions to be able to attract visitors. The response in the world of tourism is the opinion or perspective of visitors in understanding a tourist destination. This study aims to find out how tourists respond about the new attraction of Tepian Bandar Sungai Jantan Siak District. This research is using descriptive quantitative methods to examine the issues raised. The sample used was 100 people taken using accidental sampling. While the data collection techniques in this research used observation, interviews, and questionnaires using a Likert scale as a measurement tool. Based on the results of the research, Tourist Attraction of Tepian Bandar Sungai Jantan Siak District with the conclusion of the research in the good category. Keywords : Tourism, Attraction, Area, Visitors.

Abstract

The study was conducted in 2020 in Pekanbaru City, Riau Province, Pekanbaru City was faced with health problems, namely the spread of COVID-19 cases, in handling COVID-19 in Pekanbaru City with the implementation of PSBB in Pekanbaru City followed up by Riau Province in the Riau Governor's decision Number: Kpts. 1351/IX/2020 concerning the Formation of the Task Force for the Acceleration of Handling COVID-19 and the City of Pekanbaru in the Decree of the Mayor of Pekanbaru Number: 284 of 2020 concerning the Formation of the Task Force for the Acceleration of Handling COVID-19 in the City of Pekanbaru. The purpose of this study is to find out how the Intergovernmental Relations and Intergovernmental Relations Model of the Pekanbaru City government in handling the spread of COVID-19.The approach used in this study is a qualitative approach. This type of research is descriptive. This research is located in Pekanbaru City. The type of data in this study is divided into primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques using interviews, observations and documentation as well as data analysis techniques in this study were qualitative.The results of the research obtained by the author of coordination and cooperation between Pekanbaru City and Riau Province did not go well and the lack of coordination and cooperation between Pekanbaru City government agencies and the Riau Province Government. The findings of the research conducted by the authors in the field of intergovernmental relations between the Pekanbaru City Government and the Riau Provincial Government were not going well due to weak coordination and cooperation, as well as the intergovernmental relations model that occurred, namely an imperfect government relationship model or a pseudo inclusive authority where the relationship between the Pekanbaru City government and Riau Province (Pekanbaru City government as implementer in Pekanbaru City and Riau Provincial Government as director in Riau Province) in carrying out PSBB in handling COVID-19.  Kata Kunci: Intergovernmental Relations, Handling COVID-19.

Abstract

The level of community welfare can be identified, one of which is the economic capacity to support their daily needs in one month. To find out the amount needed by each individual, a Decent Living Needs (KHL) survey was carried out by the Wage Council in each district. For this reason, the roles of various elements are needed to formulate policies to increase the minimum wage in each district. In determining the minimum wage increase policy is adopted by the Wage Council. The Wage Council must be able to take the best policy for increasing the Minimum Wage rate. The formulation taken is How the District / City Minimum Wage (Umk) Determination Policy Formulation by the Indragiri Hulu Regency Wage Council 2018-2019 and what are the factors that influence determining the Regency / City Minimum Wage (UMK) in Indragiri Hulu Regency in 2019. The purpose of this research is first to describe the Policy Formulation of the Indragiri Hulu Regency Wage Council in determining the Regency / City Minimum Wage (UMK) in 2019. The second is to determine the factors that influence determining the Regency Minimum Wage / KMUMK) in Indragiri Hulu Regency in 2019. Methods The research used is qualitative research. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The location of this research is in the Manpower Office of Indragiri Hulu Regency. Data collection techniques by means of interviews, literature study and documentation study. Data analysis techniques by means of data reduction, data presentation and data verification. The results of the research show that in the formulation of the district / city minimum wage (UMK) determination by the Wage Council of Indragiri Hulu Regency, there are several stages that must be fulfilled. 4) Recommendations are submitted to the Governor by the Provincial Wage Councils and / or Regents / Mayors, through the Provincial Work Units Responsible for Manpower Affairs (Article 12 paragraph 3) and the Governor determines the UMK. Article 12 paragraph 2). The factors that influence the determination of the Regency / City Minimum Wage (UMK) in Indragiri Hulu Regency are the influence and pressure from outside parties and the influence from outside groups.  Keywords: Policy Formulation. Abstract

Kuantan Singingi Regency is one of the regencies that has excellent tourism, namely the well-known track runway culture. Pacu Jalur cultural tourism is a canoe race that is competed in the Kuantan River every year in order to commemorate the Birthday of the Republic of Indonesia. This study aims to determine how the pathway tourism development strategy towards the National event in Kuantan Singingi Regency. Then, to find out the inhibiting factors in tourism development, drive the path to the National event. The location of this research was conducted in Kuantan Singingi Regency, at the Department of Tourism and Culture of Kuantan Singingi Regency. Furthermore, data collection techniques are carried out by interviews, documentation and literature study. The result of this research is the tourism development strategy on the pathway to the national event in Kuantan Singingi Regency is still not optimal. this is caused by several factors such as lack of budget and human resources.Keywords: Strategy, Development, Pace Path

Abstract

Education is an important aspect to build a decent life in a world full of competition, so that many students or students are competing to get the best education even to places far away and foreign to themselves. Therefore, it is no longer strange to hear that a student or student has migrated from their home region to a different area where they study. Likewise experienced Papuan students who are studying at Riaudan University must adapt to their new environment.This research uses communication accommodation theory and symbolic interaction theory as a support. In this study, a qualitative descriptive method was used with a data collection technique approach consisting of observation, in-depth interviews and documentation. Subjects were taken by using purposive technique, namely 4 Papuan students and 2 Minang students. For data analysis techniques using the Miles and Huberman method. The results of this study indicate that communication accommodation that occurs between Papuan students and Minang students is by adjusting communication using Indonesian and showing natural behavior without changing the form of communication, Papuan students also do not pay attention to distance when communicating but they do pay attention. In communicating, Papuan students do not appear different, and remain with the image of Papuan culture in general. Papuan students also try to adapt their conversations to Minang language and nicknames in Minang language but they are viewed as exaggerated. Papuan students also experience communication barriers in terms of the language their interlocutors use, they have difficulty understanding and their voice volume when speaking is also different, so sometimes they are considered angry when communicating.   Keyword: Acomodation Communication, symbolic interaction,  adik

Abstract

This study aims to examine the extent to which the development of sharia business over the past 10 years, besides that there are many factors that the majority of Muslims carry the theme of Islamic sharia in business activities, for example such as trading services in accordance with Islamic sharia. This triggers the existence of associations or communities that carry the theme of Islamic sharia in its business activities. One of them is Kpmi Indonesian Muslim Entrepreneurs Community. which must be known about their motives and meanings in conducting Islamic business, after leaving the conventional business.          This study uses qualitative research methods with a phenomenological approach. The research subjects consisted of six people consisting of chairpersons, secretaries, treasurers, and members of the Muslim Entrepreneurs Community in the city of Pekanbaru (KPMI) selected using snowball sampling techniques. Data collection was carried out through in-depth interviews, observation and documentation. To validate the data, the writer uses the technique of extending participation, perseverance of observation and triangulation.           The results showed that the motives of KPMI members in conducting sharia business in their business activities consisted of motives which included drawing closer to Allah, the motives to stay away from usury, muamalah motives, Al-Qur'an love motives, family support motives. Various motives because it is the background of Indonesian Muslim entrepreneurs in the city of Pekanbaru in implementing business based on Islamic sharia. The purpose or expectation motive (in order to motive) which is the objective of informants' participation in implementing syraiah business, which consists of expectations for the motive for ukhuwah Islamiyah. Get guidance, open up jobs, share knowledge with fellow Muslim entrepreneurs. Whereas the meaning of sharia business is explained to Indonesian Muslim entrepreneurs in the city of Pekanbaru, which includes profit-material and non-material benefits, Sustainability. Meaningful blessings, favors and gratitude that we get from our hard work, this we can get by running a halal business, with that Allah gives blessings to the people he wants.               Keywords: Community, motives, Meaning.
