Abstract

Restaurant is a building that provides food and drink. Especially in a hotel, restaurant is one of the part that adds a lot of hotel revenue. The research was conducted in All Day Dining Restaurant (Food Exchange)Novotel Hotel Pekanbaru. This hotel is chosen as a place of research because they have high occupancy and they have high user room service. This study aims to find out how the quality of service room service operations Novotel Hotel Pekanbaru. This research uses qualitative descriptive method which is researches tried to describe the real situation by collecting information and explain in detail way or make a prediction before. Data collection technique are used with observation, interview and documentation. The observation target of this researce are supervisor, captain and three of waiters. Based on research that has been done about quality of service then obtained at the operational room service is good and must be maintained or improved. Keywords: quality, service, room service

Abstract

Environmental cleanliness is an urgency for all countries, including Indonesia, because Indonesia is one of the second largest plastic waste contributor countries in the world after China. This study describes how the involvement of Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) in handling environmental hygiene in Indonesia is carried out by Let's Do It Indonesia. This study uses a qualitative method with the level of group analysis. The author uses the theory of Global Civil Society (GSC). To analyze this case, the authors collect data from books, journals, websites, interviews, annual reports on the activities of Let's Do It World and Let's Do It Indonesia and official documents from Let's Do It World and Let's Do It Indonesia regarding the implementation of Let's Do It World in Indonesia. celebrating World Cleaning Day in Indonesia. The findings of this study resulted in several things. First: Let's Do It World carries out the world's largest social movement with the World Cleanup Day campaign. Second: With the world's largest gotong royong movement held simultaneously throughout the world, Let's Do It embraces the government, society and community to be more concerned about environmental cleanliness in Indonesia. Third: Let's Do It implementation in implementing World Cleanup Day was carried out before WCD activities, WCD activities took place and after WCD activities, this activity became a synergy momentum in commemorating world cleaning day to realize a clean Indonesia. Fourth: World Cleanup Day as a Global Civil Society movement means that all who participate in WCD gotong royong activities are global civil society and World Cleanup Day as an effort to voice international values.  Keywords: Implementation Let’s Do It World, NGO, World Cleanup Day.

Abstract

Management of official cars is an implementation of management activities for government-owned cars and is used for the purpose of carrying out work for regional work units. Based on Mayor Regulation Number 118 of 2016 concerning Position, Composition, Organization, Duties and Functions and Work Procedures of the Regional Financial and Asset Management Agency (BPKAD), it has the authority to manage official cars in Pekanbaru City. The problem of this research is that the management of official cars in Pekanbaru City has not been optimal in 2018.The purpose of this study is to determine the management of official cars by the Regional Financial and Asset Management Agency of Pekanbaru City in 2018. The theoretical concept that the author uses for the management of official cars according to Mardiasmo in his book Autonomy and Regional Financial Management. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. In collecting data, the writer used interview and documentation techniquesThe results of this study are first, the management of official cars by BPKAD Kota Pekanbaru in 2018 has been carried out but is not optimal because first, official cars that are in a badly damaged condition can no longer be proposed for maintenance because the goods that are in a badly damaged condition must be submitted to the manager for immediate removal. . Second, there is an overlap in the number of proposed maintenance and the cost of maintaining the budgeted assets. Third, BPKAD has taken control of official cars controlled by former officials. However, even though BPKAD has carried out the control, there are still official cars that have not been successfully controlled.Furthermore, the factors inhibiting the management of official cars by the Regional Financial and Asset Management Agency of Pekanbaru City in 2018 are: First, the low competence of human resources (HR). Second, there is a lack of coordination between asset managers and users of goods. Abstract

This study aims to determine how much influence the work environment and career development have on job satisfaction of the Pekanbaru Tampan Mental Hospital employees. Work Environment as a variable (X1), Career Development as a variable (X2), and Job Satisfaction as a variable (Y). The method in this study is descriptive and quantitative using the SPSS ver 23 for windows program, where the sample in this study was taken as many as 40 respondents and the technique used was census. From the results of data analysis which includes validity test, reliability test, simple linear regression test, multiple linear regression test, determination test, t test, and f test. So it can be concluded that the work environment has a significant effect on employee job satisfaction. Career development has a significant effect on employee job satisfaction. Work environment and career development has an effect on job satisfaction of employees of the Pekanbaru Tampan Mental Hospital. Keywords: Work Environment, Career Development, Job Satisfaction

Abstract

Gold is one type of mining material that has very high economic value. Due to the economic value the villagers use as a livelihood, this activity involves dompeng or unauthorized gold mining (PETI) along the Kuantan Singi River. Lubuk Terentang Village is one of the villages located in Kuantan Singingi which is not entered by illegal gold mining activities (PETI) which have an impact on the surrounding environment. This occurs because ofthe  policy bottom-up  agreed by the village government and community to prohibit illegal activity shaped joint decree. This study aims to determine: (1). The formulation process for the prohibition of unlicensed gold mining activities in Lubuk Terentang village, (2). The success factor of the formulation of the prohibition of unlicensed gold mining activities in Lubuk Terentang village. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive case study approach. Informants were taken using purposive sampling method. Data collection was carried out by observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis used a qualitative descriptive method. The results showed that the formulation process of the joint decree was deliberation carried out by the village government and the community represented by Ninik / Mamak and village youth. The supporting factors are the role of people who are aware of the environment and the role of public actors who only become facilitators in the formulation process without any interest in it. Keywords : Public Policy, Policy Formulation,Policy Bottom-up

Abstract

This research discusses Indonesia's efforts with ASEAN to tackle the trafficking of women and children within the framework of the ASEAN Commission on the Promotion and Protection of the Rights of Women and Children. Indonesia has become a place of delivery, transit, and trafficking destinations for women and children. To tackle the trafficking of such people, Indonesia cooperates with acwc. What are the efforts made by Indonesia? And what is the result of cooperation between Indonesia and ACWC?This research uses qualitative research methods using the perspective of constitutional Neoliberalism with the analysis of international Organizational Theory to analyze cases. The findings of the study from indonesia and ACWC cooperation resulted in guidelines in the form of Regional Action Plan on the Elimination of Violence against women and Action Plan on The Elimination of Violence Against Children.Keyword: Trafficking, People, ACWC, Elimination of Violence, Gender sensitivity

Abstract

The Regional Office of the Ministry of Religion of Riau Province is one of the government agencies that uses the website as a source of information media for the public. Management of website thiswith the domain riau.kemenag.go.id is managed by the Information and Public Relations division or the so-called Inmas. Riau Ministry of Religion has many branches under it such as the Religion of the Regency / City Department office, for that Riau Ministry of Religion uses websites as sources of information. The purpose of this research is to find out how the management process starts from the process of finding data and facts to defining the problem, planning the program, implementing the program and the final stage, namely the evaluation. A good management process will produce what the public wants so that this website becomes a media of information and public services.This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. With his subject the Head of the Head of the Head of Inmas and 5 staff of Inmas in accordance with the criteria of thetechnique purposive and his object, namely the management of the website as a medium of information and public services. Data collection techniques used were interviews, observation, and documentation.data analysis techniques Miles and Huberman. To achieve the validity of the data in this study, the authors used an extension of participation and triangulation.The results showed that in managing the website of the Ministry of Religion of Riau Province, the Public Relations of the Ministry of Religion of Riau Province determine, namely: First: The Planning and Programming Phase, at this stage Planning a program must set the targets, strategies, and tactics needed in implementing a management program. Second, Information and Public Relations Implementation Stage carries out its duties as a manager of information and public services, this can be seen in the activities in running the government website, such as making news relating to the Ministry of Religion that is there are five fields, there are five subagents, and four advisors, all conditional reporting. Third, the Evaluation Phase, at this stage sets a number of standards and measuring tools that have been previously set in the program planning process as well as estimating work performance.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the efforts of the UN Women International Organization through the HeForShe Campaign in realizing gender equality through the HeForShe campaign in Indonesia in 2016-2019. The issue of gender equality in Indonesia is still an issue that is still being discussed at this time. For this reason, UN Women and the Government of Indonesia cooperate in dealing with the issue of gender equality caused by the patriarchal culture and the negative stigma of society towards women.             This study uses the theory of the role of International Organizations, Feminism perspective and level of group analysis. Literature research method, which utilizes secondary data obtained through library research obtained from various literatures such as books, journals, e-mail, newspapers, annual reports of several relevant agencies, documents, or valid websites.             The results of this study indicate that the efforts made by UN Women through the HeForShe campaign create a Three ends program, Safe cities, increase women's awareness (public awareness), and increase women's participation in politics also create a work environment that is safe from discrimination.Keywords: Indonesia, HeForShe Campaign, Gender Equality, UN Women.

Abstract

Recess is a period in which DPRD members carry out activities outside the session period, especially outside the DPRD building, whether carried out individually or in groups by DPRD members to carry out regular working visits to their electoral districts to absorb and gather constituent aspirations in order to realize a sense of justice and welfare. in the fields of development, governance, social and economic matters relating to people's lives. The organizers of the recess are the leaders and members of the Pekanbaru City DPRD as many as 45 people, facilitated by the Pekanbaru City DPRD secretariat. Dapil V (five) is an electoral district which includes the Umbrella Sekaki sub-district and the handsome sub-district and is one of the areas where the recess activities are carried out.The purpose of this study is to find out how the recess of members of the Pekanbaru City DPRD in the handsome Dapil V in 2019 is carried out and what are the factors supporting the implementation of the recess for members of the Pekanbaru City DPRD in the Handsome Dapil V in 2019. This study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. In collecting data, the author uses interview and documentation techniques.The results of this study are that the implementation of the recess carried out by members of the Pekanbaru City DPRD in the Handsome Dapil V in 2019 can be categorized as effective, because it has carried out the recess according to the set time and has made a report based on the aspirations absorbed in the V (five) electoral districts and has realized community aspirations conveyed during the recess. On the other hand, the supporting factors for the implementation of the recess for the Pekanbaru City DPRD members in the V (five) regions are the cost of implementing the recess, community participation, and facilities and infrastructure. Keywords: Mandate of People's Representatives, Legislation of Recess, Accommodating Aspiration.

Abstract

Tanah Datar Regency is one of the regencies in West Sumatra Province with the capital city of Batusangkar. Tanah Datar Regency is one of the developing areas and is known as Luhak Nan Tuo or the oldest area in the history of Minangkabau culture. Tanah Datar Regency is one of the main tourism sectors in West Sumatra Province because it has tours that have reached national and international scales such as the Basa Pagaruyung Palace and Pacu Jawi. In recent years, Tanah Datar Regency has echoed their tourism branding, namely Tanah Datar Authentic Minangkabau, which is one step in advancing tourism in the area. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to determine the process of tourism communication in developing the Brand Tanah Datar Authentic Minangkabau by the Department of Tourism, Youth and Sports, Tanah Datar Regency.This study uses qualitative research methods. Data collection techniques used in this study are interviews, observation, and documentation, with 7 research subjects. Technique of data analysis by reducing data, collecting data, presenting data, drawing conclusions and evaluating using data validity checking techniques, namely extension of participation and triangulation.The results of this study indicate in developing Brand Tanah Datar Authentic Minangkabau that the Source is the Tourism Sector, Departement Tourism, Youth and Sport of Tanah Datar Regency because it has the ability and credibility as well as the ability of the Brand Tanah Datar Authentic Minangkabau. The messages used are persuasive and interesting informative. Use of channels or media through social media, conventional media, online media and events. The received in this case are primary audience, secondary audience and tertiary audience.
