Abstract

Political parties cannot give up power, interests, and also position, to achieve this all political parties need a strategy to win contestation or succession in every political event such as regional elections, legislative elections, or elections. This can also be seen from the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle to be able to get the most votes in the 2019 Legislative Election in Rokan Hilir Regency. Rokan Hilir Regency. The purpose of this research is to describe the winning strategy of the PDIP party in preparation for the legislative election and to describe the factors that influence the strategy of the PDIP party is competing for seats in the DPRD Rokan Hilir Regency.This study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. In the data interview, the writer used techniques and documentation. The results of this study found that the winning strategy of the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle in obtaining the most votes in the 2019 legislative elections in Rokan Hilir Regency used a Defensive and Offensive strategy, then it has achieved maximum results but is not by what has been arranged, where the parties are 9 group seats in the upcoming regional head elections can carry a single candidate without a coalition with other parties, but the results obtained are only a few seats.  Keywords: Winning Strategy, Legislative Election, Strategy, Factors

Abstract

CHS is a program proposed by Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy during the Covid-19 pandemic in the form of implementing health protocols based on Clean (Cleanliness), Health (Health), and Safety (Safety). This research aims to determine the implementation of the CHS protocol that is applied to the tourist attraction which is Pulau Cinta Teluk Jering. This research uses a mixed method of quantitative and qualitative approaches. The sample of this research were aquired from 100 respondents and one other informant, namely the tourist attraction manager of Pulau Cinta Teluk Jering. The data collection techniques which were used in this researche are questionnaires, interviews, observations, documentation and literature studies. And so using the Likert scale as a measuring tool to determine the length of the short interval. Based on the research conducted, the results of the Clean sub-variable with a score of 1,973 in the good category, the Health sub-variable with a score of 2,362 in the relatively good category, and the Safety sub-variable with a score of 3,978 in the relatively good category too. According to these results, the recapitulation of the three sub-variables has a score of 8,313, with that score the implementation of the CHS protocol in Pulau Cinta Teluk Jering is in the good category. Although it is placed in the good category, the managers must remain disciplined in the implementation of the CHS protocol in effort to make visitors who visit the object feel safe in the time of their visits even in this Covid-19 pandemic situation.Keywords: CHS protocol, implementation, Covid-19, tourist attraction

Abstract

The problems on the management of Rawa Mekar Jaya's mangrove ecotourism area is interesting to study because this mangrove ecotourism area has great potential to be developed however the management has not been optimal. The purpose of this study was to determine the management of mangrove ecotourism in Rawa Mekar Jaya Village, Sungai Apit District, Siak Regency. This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods through data collection techniques by observation,interviews, and documentation in the form of pictures or tables. The results of this study are based on management theory according to Geroge R. Terry, which includes planning, organizing, implementing, monitoring. As for the informants in this study were the Village Head, POKDARWIS, Community, and Tourism Office of Siak Regency. The implementation of Rawa Mekar Jaya mangrove ecotourism management has not been going well such as organizing is still not optimal seen from many people who are no longer active in management, government oversight has not been routinely obstacles are also found in the implementation of ecotourism management, namely budget constraints, lack of government participation, lack of human resource capabilities in the field of tourism and lack of facilities and infrastructure.Keywords: Management, Ecotourism, human Resources

Abstract

This research uses descriptive qualitative method or research which the end result gives a deep understanding. The source of the data used are primary and secondary data obtained through interviews conducted by researchers, as well as presented by the city information committee as a reinforcement of the research result. Data will be analyzed by descriptive analysis method. With social action theory and role theory as a theoretical foundation in research.The results of this study are the role of fathers as single parents in caring for their children in the ward sialang sakti namely: 2 single parent fathers apply democratic parenting, and 2 single parent parents apply permissive parenting and 1 single parent apply otoriter parenting. Parenting that is applied differently to children gives rise to different behaviors in children, children who are cared for by democratic parenting are more responsible, warmer and more independent, children in foster care with permissive parenting are less responsible and rebellious and children in fosten care with otoriter parenting are more quite, shy and obedient.  Keywords: rule, parenting, single parent father, child.

Abstract

The quality of college is in line with the quality of its library. Riau University continues to strive for improve the quality of its library. Riau University Libraries has received Accreditation A in 2013 and is getting it again accreditation A in December 2019. In addition, Riau University Library as well received ISO 9001: 2008 in 2018 and updated to ISO 9001: 2015 in 2019. However, with accreditation A said, Riau University Library still does not comply with the Head's Regulation National Library No. 13 of 2017 concerning National Standards for College Libraries. This study aims to describe (1) implementation of the National Standards for College Libraries at the University Riau in 2018-2019 and (2) factors affecting the implementation of the National Standard for College Libraries at Riau University in 2018-2019. The research method used is qualitative descriptive research type. Research location at Riau University Library. Sources of data in this study are informants, mass media and documents. The data collection technique through  documentation and interviews. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of the National Standard for College Libraries at Riau University in 2018-2019 is not optimal yet. There are several indicators that have not been fulfilled in these standards, such as the number of book and magazine collections that are still lacking, additional collections in a year less than 3% of the total collection existing, building area not up to standards, unqualified library staff standard, and the total budget which is only 0,8% of the total budget of Riau University. Based on Edward III's theory of Policy Implementation, communication, disposition and organizational structure has been achieved. However the resource  factor has not yet been achieved. This causes the lack of student’s interest to visit UNRI library. The number of visitors to the UNRI Library is not comparable with the number of students at the University of Riau. Average number of visitors Riau University Libraries in 2018 as many as 5,200 people and in 2019 as many as 4,169 people. Meanwhile, the number of students at Riau University that year about 35,000 people.Keyword: Implementation, National Standards for Libraries

Abstract

Thesis with the title "Student Compliance Level of Karimun Putri Panam Dormitory". This research was conducted at Jalan Bagau Sakti Gang Kuantan, Panam, Pekanbaru, Riau. This is to find out how the level of compliance of female Karimun dormitory students in complying with the rules in the dormitory and what are the factors that affect the level of compliance of female Karimun dormitory students. The data collection technique used a questionnaire with a total sample size of 60 people. The data analysis technique uses Statistical Product and Service Solution (SPPS), the processed data is presented in tabulated form and then analyzed using descriptive quantitative analysis. The results of the study stated that the overall level of compliance with social manners in the Karimun female dormitory was 100% classified as obedient, based on compliance with the adab visiting the Karimun female dormitory, the respondents who obeyed were 93.3%, while the respondents who were less obedient were 6.6%, Based on the compliance of rights and obligations in the Karimun female hostel, 100% of respondents were classified as obedient, while the overall level of compliance based on licensing compliance of respondents who obeyed was 96.6% of respondents, while those who were less obedient were 3.3% of respondents. The influencing factor was being obedient because of the public's actions amounting to 93.3% of respondents, while those who had no effect were being obedient because they wanted to be praised amounting to 100% of respondents.Keywords: Dormitory Compliance, Compliance Level, Dormitory Residents

Abstract

This study aims to determine the financial performance of the Village Transfer Cooperative District Enok District Indragiri Hilir in 2014 to 2018 by using the ratio of liquidity, solvency and profitability. This type of research conducted in the form of secondary data which data from the financial statements. Data collection techniques used were the method of observation, interviews and documentation methods. The data analysis technique used is by collecting and grouping financial statement data and evaluating financial performance. Based on the results of the analysis of the financial data of the Artha Prima Cooperative in Pengransfer Village, Enok Subdistrict, Indragiri Regency, it was concluded that the level of liquidity in 2014-2018 in terms of the current ratio gets bad results (bad) and cash ratio gets bad results (bad). The level of solvency in 2014-2018 in terms of DAR and DER showed very good results. The level of profitability in 2014-2018 in terms of ROA, ROE and NPM showed good results. Judging from the calculation of the analysis of liquidity ratios, solvency and profitability, it is said that the financial performance of the Artha Prima Cooperative, Desa Pengransfer, Enok District needs to be improved so that it can be even better in the future.Keywords: liquidity, solvency and rentability

Abstract

This study describes the trade liberalization which causes a Threat of loss for the domestic industries. Hence, the country implements protectionism policies against its industry from the Threat of imports. This research discusses the interests of Indonesia in imposing an import duty policy of trade safeguard measures on the import of ceramic tiles (case study: the import of ceramic tiles from Tiongkok).This qualitative research uses the descriptive explanative method, in which the data sources were taken from; books, journals, official articles, mass media, and official websites. The perspective used by the writer in this thesis is the perspective of Mercantilism with the the nation-state level of analysis and the theory used is the theory of protectionism, it can be seen from the efforts of the country to protect the domestic ceramic tiles industries from the threat of ceramic tiles imports from Tiongkok by implementing import duty policy of trade safeguards measures.The results of this study decribes that Indonesia imposed an import duty policy of trade safeguards measures against the import of ceramic tiles is to protect the ceramic tile industries from threat of imports which are cheaper than local ceramic tiles, which causes domestic industries to be threatened in the form of serious losses that is financial losses.  Keywords : Import Duty, Safeguard Measures, National Interest, Protectionism, Mercantilism Perspective

Abstract

The existence of TNBT is considered detrimental by the surrounding population because with the existence of TNBT they cannot reclaim their ancestral land, whether it is still in the form of forests, gardens and also the tombs of their ancestors who are included in the TNBT area. The problems that occur include land conflicts between Sungai Akar Village, Batang Gansal District and Bukit Tiga Puluh National Park. The community claims that 3,994 ha of land is included in the TNBT area and there is a misunderstanding about the boundaries. This study aims to describe the causes of land conflicts between Sungai Akar Village and TNBT and to describe the process of resolving land conflicts between Sungai Akar Village and TNBT by the Indragiri Hulu Regency Government. The research approach used is a qualitative approach and the type of descriptive research. The location of this research was in Sungai Akar Village and Bukit Tiga Puluh National Park Hall, and data collection techniques were carried out by interview and documentation.               The cause of the conflict between Sungai Akar Village and TNBT is caused by human interests or needs, and transformation. The result of this research is that the settlement of the land conflict between Sungai Akar Village and TNBT organized by the Inhu Regency Government has not been able to be resolved with what the Sungai Akar Village party wants because the TNBT has not been able to respond or issue the customary land because the decision is based on the Center or the Ministry of Forestry.  Keywords: Land Conflict, Conflict Resolution

Abstract

This research aims to determine how much effect the Filosofi Kopi 2 : Ben & Jody film on the interest in doing coffee shop business among barista’s in Pekanbaru City. The research method used is quantitative explanation with the positivism paradigm with the theoretical model used namely S-O-R (Stimulus – Organism – Response) theory. Researcher must be objective by first testing wheter the limitations of the concept and measuring instrument have met the standards of realibility and validity. Meanwhile, the explanation is intended to explain the generalization of the sample to the population or to explaint the differences and effect of a variable with others. The population in this study is the barista’s spread across 104 coffee shop in Pekanbaru City. The sampling technique in this study using accidental sampling (samples from easy to find people) and the guest have watched Filosofi Kopi 2: Ben & Jody film, with a total of 50 respondents. Data collection technique in this study used a questionnaire and documentation. The data in this study were measured on a likert scale. Data analysis performed was descriptive analysis, simple linear regression, data normality test and coefficient of determination.The result of the study based on the significance value is 0,000 which is smaller than the probability of 0,05, meaning that Ho is reject and Ha is accepted, which means there is a significant effect between Filosofi Kopi 2 : Ben & Jody film on the interest in doing coffee shop business among barista’s in Pekanbaru City. The linear regression equation obtained is Y=1,025 + 0,944 X. Meanwhile, based on coefficient of determination (R2) test of 0,646. Means the independent variable (Film) has an effect proportion of 64,6% on the dependent  variabel (interest). Keywords : effect film, coffee shop, barista, the interest in doing business
