Abstract

This study was conducted in May 2015 during the dry season in Kampar Kiri river Gunung Sahilan village, Gunung Sahilan district, Kampar regency, province of Riau. Purpose of this study was to obtain data on environmental parameters become the benchmark fishing grounds and fishing activity. Environmental parameters measured are temperature, current speed, brightness, depth, acidity (pH) and dissolved oxygen. After doing this research is that the condition of the Kampar Kiri river Gunung Sahilan village still quite good and still support for life of organisms that were in it and deserves to fishing activities in these waters.Keyword : fishing ground, environmental parameters, kampar kiri river

Abstract

This research was conducted in Mei 2015 in Kampar river, Merangin village,Kuok district, Province of Riau. Purpose of this study was to obtain data onenvironmental parameters become the benchmark fishing grounds and fishingactivity. Abstract

This research was conducted on 3-14 may 2015. The purpose of this research is to know the development the fish hatchery. Start from the wide of pull the number of production development, the income, and extension of region trade for Sejahtera Group. This research was used survey method. The determination responded was taken with a simple random sampling the population in research was the member of Sejahtera Group who has their own job as hatchery. The number of member is 22 persons. Remembering the characteristic the job of population is relative homogeny so in taking in responden was enough 50% for is hatchery.The result of this research showed that the fish hatchery was done by the member of Sejahtera Group has a good development after accepting the assist from government. The wide of pool before accepting the assist in 2011 was around 909 m² but after get the assist in 2014 the wide of pool becomes 2,672 m², the number of seeds of production which gotten before getting the assist was around 68,091 seeds per year after got the assist from government the number of production increased become 200,454 per year. The income fish hatchery before get the assist 15.403.773,- and after got the assist from government the income is increased to be 47.378.745,- the wide of trade region before got the assist just to region they were Siantar, Balige, Parapat, Porsea, Haranggaol, and Salbe.Key Word : The Impact Of Government Assist, The Business Development, And Fish Hatchery

Abstract

The coastal waters of the Kepenghuluan Serusa village was inhabit bynumerous fish species. Information about it, however, is almost none. Tounderstand the type of fish present in that area, a study has been conducted fromMarch to April 2015. The purpose of this research is to identify the fish speciescaught by fishermen in the Kepenghuluan Serusa village. Samplings were donefour times, once a week, using scraping nets (mesh size 1-2 cm) and gillnet (meshsize 1,5-2 inch). The fish sampled were then identified based on Saanin (1968),Kottelat et al, (1993) and Matsuura et al,(2011). Results shown that there were787 fishes captured, consist of 20 fish species and they were belonged to 17genera, 15 families and 8 order. They were Congresox talabon, Setipinna taty,Stolephorus baganensis, Hemipimelodus borneesis, Harpadon nehereus,Hemirhamphus far, Strongylura strongylura, Terapon theraps, Johnius coitor,Panna microdon, Liza parmata, Liza tade, Eleutheronema tetradactylum,Taenioides anguillaris, Trichiurus savala, Cynoglossus cynoglossus, Cynoglossuslingua, Cynoglossus microlepis, Zebrias zebra and Gastrophysus oblongus. Themost common species was Eleutheronema tetradactylum (211 fishes) and Pannamicrodon (132) and Stolephorus baganensis (124).Keyword: Fish identification, Coastal waters, Serusa.

Abstract

Helostoma temmincki is a type of fish that inhabit swamp area in the Bencah Kelubi Village. This fish has high economical value, around Rp 25,000-30,000/Kg. Information on biological aspects of this fish, including morphometric and meristic and is rare. To understand the morphometrical, meristical characteristics and growth pattern of this fish, a research had been conducted from June to August 2015. There were 141 fishes (60-121 mm SL and 10.18-87.56 gr BW) captured from the swamp area in the Bencah Kelubi Village. There were 26 morphological characteristics measured and 6 meristical characteristics studied. Results shown that all of morphometrical characteristics were almost isometric as the fish growing. The meristical characteristic of the fish were as follow: D.XVI-XVIII.13-16; A.XIII-XV.17-19; P.10-11; C. 13-16 and lateral line scale was 44-48. All of morphological characteristics measured were then compared with SL to understand the growth pattern. The Lenght-Weight relationship shown that the growth of male and female H. temmincki was isometric. The water quality parameter shown that temperature 28-31°C, transparency 17-46.5 cm, pH 5-6, DO 2-3.8 mg/L and CO2 14-20 mg/L. Data on water quality parameters indicate that water quality from the swamp area in the Bencah Kelubi Village is able to support the life of the H. temmincki.Keywords : Helostoma temmincki, swamp, morphometric, meristic, growth patterns

Abstract

This Research is about The Evaluation Of The Aid Programme Floating Cage And Fish Seed In Sungai Paku Village, Sub-District of Kampar Kiri, Kampar District, Riau Province. It was conducted on March 2015 in the Sungai Paku Village Kampar Kiri District Kampar regency Riau Province. This study aimed to evaluate the process of aid programs floating cage and fish seeds in the Sungai Paku Village. Evaluate the result of assistance programs floating cage and seeds fish in the Sungai Paku. Based the result of research I that the submission and the aid receipt of assistance, the identification of the candidates fish farmer of the fish recipients, of delivering aid by the and fishery, supervision and extension of the provincial department of fisheries and marine riau. For evaluation of the results, the aid progamme to help the economy recipients, develop the cultivation of fish cried sustainable and can supply of fish in the region fulfilled.keywords: evaluation , Dinas helps programme, Kampar regency.

Abstract

This research was conduted on September 2015 in the Ujungbatu Village,District of Ujungbatu that located in Regent of RokanHulu Riau Province. Thisresearch was determined purposively with survey method. The respondents wastaken by census amounting to 12 people. The purpose of this researchwere1)toknowfish farmers characteristics in the Ujungbatu Village, 2) to know perceptionsof fish farmer of ex quarry sand land utilization for aquaculture business, 3) and toknow relationship fish farmer characteristics between perception of fish farmerthe ex quarry sand land utilization used the Spearman Rank CorrelationCoefficienttest.The results of this research indicated that the fish farmer perceptions of theex quarry sand land utilization as a whole was in the category of "Good Enough"in the middle categories, with a score of 2.065. Internal factors which havesignificant affect to respondents perception in Ujungbatu Village are age andeducation and did not have significant affect to respondents perception areincome, family members, and experience of aquaculture bussiness.The results relationship between characteristics to perception, that are :correlation between age to fish farmer perceptions is very significant (0,040≤ rs,),correlation between education to fish farmer perceptions is very significant(0,032≤ rs,), correlation between family members is not significant (0,521 > rs),correlation between income to fish farmer perceptions is not significant (0,375 >rs), and correlation between experience of aquaculture bussiness to fish farmerperceptions is very significant (0,056 ≤ rs).Keywords:Perception, Ujungbatu Village, Ex quarry sand

Abstract

This study was conducted in June 2015 which is located in PPS Bungus the Province of West Sumatra. Research aims to analyze changed fishing ground, time of fishing and fishing frequency, the operational cost which issued, and income the owner and crew members a lift net ship 21 GT and 30 GT with the rising fuel oil prices (diesel fuel). The method used in this research is a case study. The diesel fuel prices used in this research are Rp 6.900,-/litres and Rp 6.900,-/litres.The result showed that the price of diesel fuel oil does not cause changed fishing ground, time of fishing and fishing frecuency so that the number of diesel fuel (litres) and ice (stem) used the lift net fishermen also unchanged. However, the increase in the price of diesel is causing a rise in operating costs of lift net ship 21 GT, an average of Rp 117.000,-/trip (7,8 %) and the lift net ship 30 GT, an average of Rp 616.000,-/trip (7,0 %). Trip catching lift net ship done for 5 days, so that in one day lift net fishermen 30 GT increased operational cost an average of Rp 123.200,-/day. On the other side, the increase in operating costs due to rising diesel prices led to a decrease in revenues of each fisherman. Lift net fisherman with ship 21 GT decreased average income of Rp 58.500,-/trip (11,9%) for each fisherman crew and owner. Meanwhile, lift net fishermen 30 GT decreased average income of Rp 308.000,-/trip (10,6%), or an average of Rp 61.600,-/day.Keywords: impact, fuel oil price increases, diesel fuel, cost, income

Abstract

This research was conduted on April 2015. The purpose of this research was to identity production and factor of production, fish farmer income and ekspenditure, and to identity the impact of assistance P4S program to the state of the effort aquaqultur in cages. This research was analyzes factors of production, increasing production, fish farmer income and ekspenditure after the implementation of P4S program. The method used in this research is the survey method. Sampling design in this research uses purposive sampling to determine research location and for the intake of sample in every sample villages using the area sampling, so that the research locations are obtained at 7 villages in one same sub district, i.e. sub district of Kampar, Kampar Regency Of Riau Province, and then taken 14 people sample to be used as respondents.The results of the research shows the that P4S program could cause total of production increased and factors production could be better than before, and as well can improve the income of fish farmer, it means that P4S program give a positive impact to the state of the effort. The research also shows the utilization of the time the fish farmer can be more productive and the effort of aquaqulture can be growth than before, so prosperty levels of life can be increased.Keywords : Assistance, Program P4S, production, Fish Farmer Income

Abstract

This research was condud at Sungai Nipah village, IV Jurai ditrict, Pesisir Selatan Regency, West Sumatera Province on july 2015. This research aimed to know characteristics and walfare fishermen society at Sungai Nipah village, IV Jurai, District Pesisir Selatan regency, West Sumatera Pronce, The mothed use was survey mothed, The respondets were 38 fisherman depend on sensus methed The result from this research, showed that walfare average by BPS with eight indicator, such as income, consumption, home condition, home facility, familyhealth, health facility, education family, transfortation family. Walfare fisherman sociely in the Sungai Nipah villageis moderate category with amounting 37 fisherman (97,37%) and the other walfare fisherman so society is low category amounting fisherman (2,63%) so walfare fishermen society at Sungai Nipahvillage in the” high categoty” is nothing.
