Abstract

Spent Mushroom Substrate (SMS) or remaining mushroom media is agro-residue and the remaining mesillium fungus after harvesting mushroom. SMS has several types of polymers such as lignin, cellulose and hemiselulose degraded by mycelium due to the fungal growth process which is then converted into simpler molecules to use as biosorbent that can be used to set aside Cu metals. Abstract

This study aims to determine the cost of production facilities, wages, and other expenses in one year to obtain the feasibility rate of rice farming in the Bunga Raya District. This research was conducted in 5 villages in Bunga Raya sub-district which have a fairly advanced farmer group. The collected data in this study are primary and secondary data analyzed using the BCR (Benefit Cost Ratio) concepts. Result research shows that rice farming run by farmers in Bunga Raya District is overall feasible to continue, but there are several inhibiting factors that cause a decrease in production. Based on the research of average farmers' net income is Rp. 16,000,000 to Rp. 20,000,000 for planting seasons (four months). Because the production and income of farmers start to increase with the development of irrigation facilities, this raises the interest of farmers who once converted rice fields into oil palm plantations to re-cultivate rice fields for rice farming. Abstract

Solar cells as one of the new renewable energy sources have an important role in terms of meeting the needs of energy. For this reason, solar cells are employed as an alternative source of electricity generation, both in an off-grid or on-grid state. In this papers presents a step-by-step simulation of a three-phase circuit connected to a network with a solar cell source. The capacity of the solar cell to be simulated is 100 kWp. In this study, solar cells as an alternative generator that will generate three-phase AC loads. This requires a DC-DC boost converter to increase the output voltage of the solar cell and keep the voltage stable during the generation process by tracking the maximum power point using MPPT to extract the maximum power obtained from solar irradiation and channel it to the network. In systems based on solar cells, the inverter is a very critical component for controlling the flow of electricity by converting DC voltage to AC voltage and a grid load of 20 kV. In this case the distribution transformer load is 20 kV. Based on the simulation results with different levels of solar irradiation the voltage obtained is 19,473 V, then the expected voltage to generate a three-phase AC load that is the distribution load of the 20 kV transformer is reached. Abstract

This study aims to determine the data generation, composition, physical and chemical characteristics of domestic waste and the potential for recycling in the Development Area I of Pekanbaru City based on the level of income levels of the High Income, Medium Income and Low Income. The data generated can be used for planning and development for waste management systems. Determination of waste generation is done based on SNI 19-3964-1994 method. The results showed that Sukajadi District's solid waste generation was in the weight unit of 0.407 kg / o / day and a volume unit of 2.86 l / o / day, Senapelan District in the weight unit of 0.383 kg / o / day and a volume unit of 2.64 l / o / day, Pekanbaru City District in units of weight 0.396 kg / o / day and volume units 2.61 l / o / h, Lima Puluh District in weight units 0.373 kg / o / day and volume units 2.13 l / o / day and Sail District in weight units 0.383 kg / o / day and volume unit 2.53 l / o / day. Waste composition in Pekanbaru City Development Area I is dominated by organic waste by 48%. Physical characteristics of brupa gravity specific gravity is 0.09 kg / l and compaction factor is 1.07 l / day. Chemical characteristics for water content are 35.80%, volatile content is 58.73%, ash content is 1.64% and fixed carbon is 3.83%. potential for waste recycling Domestic Development Region I Pekanbaru City is divided into two types of recycling, namely composting final product at 462.738 kg / day and Recyclable at 131.08 kg / day. Abstract

We propose the prototype of microcontroller-based frequency detection system by using the Arduino to capture the frequencies around it or frequencies feeding from the signal source. The reading counter is carried out by IC 74hc393. This prototype is capable to capture up to a frequency of 50 MHz then result will be displayed to the LCD display. Meanwhile, when testing the prototype validation using the direct measurements method by comparing the frequency readings using a multifunction counter and the result shows the average frequency reading of the prototype is likely accurate by 0.27 kHz.Keyword : frequency, microcontroler, frequency counter, direct measurements.

Abstract

People in ancient times when visiting someone's home by calling the owner of the house. But that way is not right to do, if the homeowner is not at home, so the homeowner cannot hear the voice of the guest calling. Therefore, a guest monitoring system was created, this system is placed on the front wall of the house. This system sends a short message to the Telegram Application that is on the homeowner's Smartphone. Using Esp32 as a microcontroller, four Passive Infrared Sensor (PIR) sensors are used as guest detectors. The Internet Protocol (IP) camera is directed to guests, so homeowners can find out who guests are visiting. Every visiting guest has a voltage difference, on the pir sensor 1 if there are guests, the voltage on the pir sensor is 3.38v, pir 2 if there are guests, the voltage on the pir sensor is 3.36v, pir 3 if there are guests, the voltage on the pir sensor is 3.37v, and all pir sensors are zero if there are no guests. The purpose of research is how to design a guest monitoring system. The research results make it easy for homeowners to monitor guests visiting their homes. The homeowner reads the incoming message to the Telegram application when the PIR sensor detects the infrared existence of the guests, then opens the IP camera app to find out who guests are visiting.Keywords: Esp32, Sensor Pir, Motor Servo, Telegrambot.

Abstract

The conveyor belt is one of the most widely used material conveyances in industry. In addition to the distance that can be traveled quite far, this tool also has a large enough carrying capacity. In this study, the belt conveyor was designed using two standards, namely CEMA and DIN. From the calculation results, the dimensions of the components and the motor power on the conveyor belt are obtained. The results of the calculation of the standard CEMA belt width 457.2 mm, idler diameter 152.4 mm, motor power 23.86 kW, pulley diameter 355.6 mm and DIN calculation results are belt width 400 mm, idler diameter 102 mm, motor power 22, 36 kW, pulley diameter 355.6 mm. From the calculation results, it is known that all components in the CEMA standard have dimensions and motor power that is greater than the DIN standard, in general this is because the CEMA standard uses more safety factors so that the motor power required in the CEMA standard is greater than the DIN standard. In the calculation results, the maximum yield stress on the pulley is 15.62 MPa and at the idler roller is 0.393 MPa, so based on the yield stress of the material, namely ASTM A36 of 400 Mpa, it can be ascertained that the structure is able to withstand the given load. Meanwhile, the maximum deflection at the pulley is 0.0138 mm and at the idler roller is 0.00019 mm. Keyword : belt conveyor, belt, roller idler, drive motor.

Abstract

The center of medicinal plants is a center that accommodates facilities in the form of educational and recreational facilities related to the cultivation and development of herbal or traditional medicinal plants. . Lately, in modern life, there are unhealthy habits such as consuming ready-to-eat foods that have an adverse effect on those foods that have preservatives, when sick people go to doctors whose medicines are derived from chemicals. So that the center of this medicinal plant is an effort to preserve ancestral culture in an effort to utilize medicinal plants in Pekanbaru as a safe traditional treatment without side effects. The center of medicinal plants in Pekanbaru uses an organic architecture approach which is an architectural philosophy that promotes harmony between human habitation and nature, so that in the center of this medicinal plant the building uses materials from nature, colors in harmony with nature, maximizing the potential of the site, not changing the nature ingredients. The center of medicinal plants in Pekanbaru uses the concept of life from nature which is applied in harmony with the theme. Abstract

This study aims to obtain optimum welding results on low carbon steel with variations in electrode angle and reverse polarity direct current welding current with SMAW welding machine with adaptive sliding system two axis with speed control. Welding is done automatically and the welding speed is adjusted using the Speed Control. The method used is experimental by varying the electrode angle of 45°, 70°, 90° and the welding current strength of 90 A, 100 A, 120 A in order to determine the optimization of the welding results from the SMAW welding machine using a sliding adaptive two axis system with speed control. From the results of tests carried out with reverse polarity, the stressed tensile strength is obtained at an angle of 70° with a current strength of 100 A and for the lowest tensile strength test, namely at a letrode angle of 45° with a current strength of 100 A. Abstract

Humans will experience 5 stages of life starting from the stage of nothingness, the stages of the womb stage, the stages of life in the world, the stages of the barzakh realm, and finally, the stages of the afterlife Museum is an institution that is intended for the general public. A museum refers to a building that holds ancient history, cultural heritage, and various types of living and non-living objects. In this plan, a museum of the development of life will be designed, which will display 5 phases of the history of the development of human life so that people can catch up. The museum will be a media for documentation, education, and recreation. This end-of-time museum planning uses an architectural utopia approach that is by the function of the design. This is because life after death is a very perfect and real delusion. Architectural utopia is a contradiction in reality that has continuity with the design function.
