Currently the dissemination of fake information/news (hoax) increasingly widespread. The Mastel 2017 survey revealed of people receive hoaxes every day and receive more than once. The most widely used channel in hoax distribution is social media. The phenomenon of hoaxes in Indonesia raises doubts about the information received and confuses the public. It is utilized by irresponsible parties to inculcate slander and hatred. Therefore, this study aims to get a picture of the interactivity of hoax communication in social media and how to anticipate it. The research method used is a qualitative approach by highlighting three cases of viral hoax in the community regarding the government of President Jokowi and the Governor of DKI Jakarta, Ahok. The result of this research concludes that communication interactivity is very dynamic. The sender / recipient of the hoax message, is a party that does not like the government. Other recipients of the message are also disagreeing and refuting the hoax as support for the government. Political motive is very strong in this case and there is a goal to bring down the government in power or prevent Ahok from becoming governor of DKI Jakarta again. Hoax that is massively deployed and repeated through social media can form public opinion that the news is true. There are three important approaches to anticipate the spread of hoaxes in the community, namely institutional, technological and literacy approaches.

News aggregation is the process of taking news from published sources, reshaping it, and publishing it as a new news. News aggregation becomes an important part of journalism. This research intends to examine whether the news aggregation complies with journalistic principles in Indonesia or not. The significance of this research for the Indonesian community is that they understand the news aggregation in the context of Indonesian journalism. This research used a qualitative approach in the post-positivist paradigm. Data was collected by narrative literature review and interviews. The informants were the expert from the Indonesia Press Council. In addition, to see trends in the qualitative use of news aggregations, interviews were conducted with three news aggregation users. The analysis resulted that the news aggregator is not a journalistic media, because it has not yet met the criteria of Indonesian Law no. 40 of 1999 concerning the Press, as well as the Cyber Media guidelines. The news aggregator content are news and opinions those were collected from the press media and social media. Even though the news aggregators content was not believed to be true, smartphone users will continue to use it.

The availability of Web Service is the most important thing to be guaranteed, but there are many threats to the Web Service particularly from the internet, one of the famous methods is Slow HTTP DoS Attack. There are many research projects about this topic before, but there is always the possibility to increase the accuracy rate and minimizing the False Positive Rate and should be considered to use it at the small and medium scale of network infrastructure. In this research, another IDS method was used to find a better result for Slow HTTP DoS Attack detection through modeling HTTP Request based on Regular Expression. Detection patterns made from HTTP Request Traffic of some popular Web Browsers then looked for the similarity of the HTTP Request Traffic using Needleman Wunsch algorithm. This pattern was negated at the important part of HTTP Request headers, then converted to Regular Expression. New Pattern in Regular Expression was inserted to the L7-Filter that part of Netfilter. This method has been proved to detect Slow HTTP DoS Attack with 100% accuracy and False Positive Rate 0%.

Every region in Indonesia has a traditional clothes that is characteristic of each region, especially the Tanah Toraja that located in the province of South Sulawesi. The Rantepao Art Center building is one of the art buildings located in Tana Toraja, precisely in downtown Rantepao, North Toraja district. The problem is that during this time, the Rantepao art center building only introduces Toraja traditional clothes by means of dialogue, beside of books or catalogs those available there. Efforts are needed on how to present a model of introduction of Toraja traditional clothing and accessories in a more attractive and interactive three-dimensional form. Thus the tourists can easily understand each of the Toraja traditional clothing model and its accessories. We use marker based tracking with Augmented Reality technology. Augmented Reality is a technology that combines marker objects into a real three-dimensional environment and displays them in real time. The results of this study are by displaying three-dimensional images of toraja traditional clothes by using a mobile device to capture images on smartphones, so that visitors of North Toraja regency's art center, both local and international, can see the more attractive appearance of toraja traditional clothes.

The use of the internet today has become a necessity, the most commonly used media to connect to the internet is a Wireless LAN network. For easy access to the network, DHCP service become a standard feature that must exist, because ordinary users no longer need to think about procedures for configuring IP addresses, all of which have been done automatically by the DHCP service. But it turns out that there is a security threat to DHCP service, namely DHCP Starvation attacks that can be exhausting the availability of IP addresses in DHCP service so that the configuration of IP address automatically can no longer be done on the client. Various methods such as authentication, cryptography, and machine learning are used by researchers in preventing DHCP Starvation attacks, but the issue of effectiveness and efficiency still opens up further research opportunities. In this research, packet filtering methods based on DSCP code applied to the Netfilter system are used to do prevention of DHCP Starvation attacks, this method has proven to be very effective in making prevention and more efficient when applied on small scale wireless networks such as at office networks and internet cafe.

The problem of measuring vehicle speed on roads is difficult to be one of the problems in the Department of Transportation. Through this research, alternative methods of measurement on road segments proposed by using GPS through vehicle speed calculations are measured based on latitude and longitude displacement applied to mobile applications. The method used to calculate vehicle speed is using the method of calculating the distance between Euclidean Distance coordinates, the acquisition of the speed results is then used to determine the determination of the congestion status. The result of distance calculation is still in units of degree, therefore it is necessary to convert from coordinate unit (degree) to unit distance (km) by multiplying the distance of one degree of earth based on latitude. Based on the test results, there are three phases when taking measurements: pre-measurement, measurement, and post-measurement.

Todays, digital image processing is widely used in various fields to facilitate humans in doing work by analyzing videos or images for use in decision making in the industrial world. The use of industrial machine technology is one of the most important factors in efforts to facilitate human work, but an industrial machine is inseparable from work failure that can hinder the production process and cause harm to the industry. This study aims to detect a failure in industrial machinery by using video data of industrial machine movements recorded using a webcam camera. For the preprocessing stage, the image is resized then converted to grayscale imagery and segmented using the thresholding method, then morphological operations are performed with an opening operation, feature extraction is done by changing the binary image into a vector data that is used as input data in the classification process using the Learning Vector Quantization Neural Network Algorithm (LVQ NN) version 1. The results showed the results of the detection of machine working errors can be done well with an accuracy value of 94.24% in training and 92.38% in the testing phase.

Research institutions as well as other organizations have core business in science and technology research and development have many external and internal constraints to actively engage their researchers. Internal problems that become obstacles faced by research institutions is that individual productivity is not the same as the productivity of the organization, so there is a distance that becomes the factors causing the researcher's job involvement on organization. The purpose of research is to see the relationship between organization-based self-esteem (OBSE) and organizational communication with job involvement in a research institute to increase science and technology productivity. The research question is how the role of organization-based self-esteem towards the job involvement and how the role of organizational communication to the job involvement of researchers in X institution research. We used mix method by quantitative approach of relationship analysis to measure organization-based self-esteem with the job involvement, while to see organizational communication with job involvement with qualitative case study approach. The results obtained that organization-based self-esteem has been shown to be significantly associated with the job involvement of researchers in research institutions. In addition, organizational communication also affects the job involvement of researchers in research institutions. It shows that individual factors can collectively impact on organizational success in achieving the targets.
