Abstract

The increasing online business in Indonesia is due to the increasingly widespread changes in consumer behavior and the increasing development of the internet. Based on data released by the Ministry of Communication and Informatics the number of internet users in Indonesia in 2017 reached 143.26 million people, equivalent to 54.68% of the total population of Indonesia. This number experienced an increase compared to 2016 of 10.56 million people based on survey results. Promotion through social media is one of the powerful tools used by online shop businesses, because with good, consistent and continuous promotion, the businesses offered to consumers as end users / users will be accepted so that consumers can continue to make transactions through social media. The research conducted is descriptive research that is by using the literature study method. Where library research is carried out by gathering relevant information, the data sources obtained are: observation, documentation, information, interviews, which are related to research. The incessant promotion carried out by Uwais Collection so far has made Uwais Collection increasingly known by the people of Lampung for the use of social networks, especially social media through Facebook and Instagram. because by utilizing social media as a promotional media it will make it easier for buyers to make online transactions where the phenomena that occur at the community level tend to like online purchases without the hassle of spending time such as conducting offline transactions.Keywords : Promotion, Social Media, Facebook, Instagram

Abstract

The District in Karang Agung Village, the report of production results by the foreman is still done by making regular reports in the foreman's order, supervision of production by the assistant head of the region is still done by looking at reports from the foreman who is  still in the form of regular records in the foreman's book and there are still many rubber plants that are not well developed due to lack of knowledge about how to preserve the rubber plants. The methods used have weaknesses, including foremen having difficulty reporting production data because of the distance of plantations and remote plantation offices. In addition, the assistant head of the region was able to find it difficult to monitor production results because the data provided was still in the form of records and is often late by the foreman. The algorithm analysis used the classification method, K-Nearest Neighbor algorithm. A classification method for a set of data based on previously classified data learning. The nearest Neighbor was an approach to finding a case by calculating the proximity between a new case and an old case. It was based on matching the weights of a number of features. Abstract

Universities hold a strategic role in society as the teaching university, the research university, and the bastion of civilization. In this decade, the challenges of the universities become more complex where a paradigm shift in the universities occur such as: (1) the shifting of the role of the universities due to the influence of the globalization; (2) the scarcity of resources in response to changes with the proper way; (3) the development of the science and technology which accelerates rapidly; and (4) the development of the rapid entrepreneurial culture. Some important and fundamental issues facing the universities college in Indonesia today is that the existence of the universities college in Indonesia still faces a number of obstacles in the policy, the implementation, the monitoring, and the evaluation. Moreover, the issue of quality and the relevance of outputs of the universities have not contributed optimally in the world of industry and society. The universities have not optimally been able to become the important sectorwhich can produce a significant number of entrepreneurs with the orientation of job creation and self-reliance. Based on the background of this grant research above, it can be concluded that the strategy of private universities towards the world class or high quality is studied. The method used was a qualitative research consisting of studying literature, conducting interviews, and distributing questionnaires to the informants in the universities in four provinces or cities in the area of The coordinator of The Private UniversitiesII of the southern sumatra and the analysis models. The following method used a quantitative method to measure the parameters of the performance of the universities and entrepreneurial growths of the universities. According to the results of the research in the first, second, and third year, a model to improve the e-governance-based quality to the universities through the research focus, the entrepreneurship, and the development of the resources was developed in the area of The coordinator of The Private Universities II of the southern sumatra. Abstract

The development of this technology is very fast, one of the media that utilizes technology such as knowledge management application is media for documentation of knowledge and facilities that can support knowledge sharing culture in PDAM Lampung. The use of interactive online knowledge management can facilitate the company's activities to achieve the project objectives. The utilization of this technology connects computerized technology with the application of appropriate system development methods in order to make the information-sharing relationships of enterprise activities can be stored and well controlled. By applying the first 7 step method described in prototype design the knowledge management application is expected to facilitate the implementation of research and other development support methods such as waterfall method. Abstract

I-bike motorcycle rental was the considerable and well-known business entity in China. The problem statement of this study was that this i-bike motorcycle rental system at Tian Qi Diandong Che Xing, in Nantong, Jiangsu Province was not effective. It was because the booking system was still done manually and most of local Chinese people was not able to speak English so that it caused difficulty for foreigners who wanted to rent this i-bike motorcycle. The objective of this study was designing the website-based system for the i-bike motorcycle. The application was designed through Adobe Dreamweaver CS5 and My SQL. This application was expected to provide detailed and accurate information about this i-bike motorcycle rented to the prospective tenants online from whom the companies were assisted to promote their motorbikes to foreigners with a website-based application system in English and to process the transactions, the data management, and the company reports.Keyword: I-bike motorcycle rental, China, Adobe Dreamweaver CS5, and My SQL

Abstract

The result of the path analysis showed that the significant value of the reward, the punishment, and the work discipline was smaller than the significant level (α = 0.05). Therefore, it was concluded that the reward and the punishment had thesignificant effect on the employee performance through the work discipline at Pelabuhan Indonesia II (Persero) Ltd., Panjang. It indicated that the high rewards brought employees aware of and improved the employees’ quality so that the employees were more disciplined. Moreover, the punishment (firm sanction) also brought employees to be more disciplined and to follow the company rules so that the employee performance improved. Keywords: Reward, Punishment, Work Discipline, Performance

Abstract

This study aims to find evidence of the influence of leadership style and organizational culture to employee performance through job satisfaction as intervening variable. The sample in this research are employees of IIB Darmajaya that are 122 respondents. Data collection was done through the distribution of questionnaires to the respondents. This research uses Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) path analysis approach. The result of the test using path analysis shows that there are the influence of leadership style to work satisfaction, organizational culture affects to work satisfaction, the influence of leadership style to employee performance, organizational culture affects to employee performance, organizational culture has effect to employee performance, the influence of work satisfaction to employee performance. Based on the test results, they have positive effect to employees performance, from the highest to the lowest effect respectively that are work satisfaction, leadership style, and organizational culture. The results indicate that is needed to improve the leadership style in order to get high work satisfaction and good employee performance. In addition, it also needs to improve the organizational culture to improve high job satisfaction and good performance of employee. The results of this study can be used as material for the management in optimizing employee performance. Employee performance in this case includes organizational culture, leadership style and job satisfaction.Keywords : Leadership Style, Organizational Culture, Job Satisfaction and Employee Performance

Abstract

Mobile technology that is much-loved today is a smartphone. This is due to the ability and intelligence of these mobile devices in helping human life. One area of life that can use mobile devices to help get things done is the world of agriculture. In the agricultural world, one of the problems faced is determining the quality of agricultural crops, especially rice crops. Sometimes it is difficult to see the quality of the rice crop. The disease in rice suffered is one of the main factors to inhibit the production and quality of rice harvest. It takes a long time to detect rice diseases using traditional diagnostic approaches, so farmers often lost the best time to prevent and treat disease. The introduction of rice disease by image is an important research topic in the field of computer vision, where the main task is to find an effective way to represent the sick rice image. In this study, based on image processing techniques and pattern recognition methods, the method of introducing rice disease is proposed. The color transformation structure for RGB input (Red, Green and Blue) is designed first and then the RGB model is converted to HSI (Hue, Saturation and Intensity), YUV and gray models. Thebackgroundwasremovedbasedonaspecific threshold value, and then the disease spot image was segmented with region growing algorithm (RGA).   Thirty-eight classifying features of color, texture and shape were extracted from each spot image. To reduce the dimensions of the feature space and improve the accuracy of the most valuable feature rice disease identification is selected by combining genetic algorithms (GA) and selection of correlation-based features (CFS).
