Abstract

This study was conducted to investigate the effect of quality of work life on job satisfaction, organiSational commitment, turnover intention and job stress among the employees of Baitul Mal wat Tamwil (BMT) in Kudus Regency, Central Java, Indonesia. The study uses a sample of 150 employees from 13 institutions of BMT. The empirical testing indicates that quality of work life has positive effects on both job satisfaction and organizational commitment; whereas there is no significant evidence of the effect of quality of work life on turnover intention and job stress. Implication, limitation and suggestion for future research are discussed.

Abstract

Leadership skills . learn to have a strong personality , then someone will have the skills to lead yourself . 4 . Abstract

This research investigates the effect of psychological attachment on the information system usage behaviors. This research is different from previous studies by integrating the variable of psychological attachment (internalization, identification and compliance) with Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). There are eight variables in this study, namely the perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, psychological attachment (internalization, identification and compliance), attitude toward using, behavioral intention and actual use.This research is a type of survey research by using a quantitative approach. The research data are obtained from 117 students in Yogyakarta, by using random sampling technique. For research model testing technique, it used the multiple linear regression approach. The researchs findings include three items. First, perceived ease of use, identification and compliance are positively and significantly effect on attitude toward using. Second, attitude toward using, identification and compliance are positively and significantly effect on behavioral intention. Third, behavioral intention is positively and significantly effect on information system usage behaviors. Finally, the research findings suggested that psychological attachment (identification and compliance) are the important variables that effect on information system usage behaviors.Keywords: Psychological attachment, technology acceptance model, information system.Penelitian ini menganalisis pengaruh psychological attachment terhadap perilaku penggunaan sistem informasi. Penelitian ini berbeda dengan riset terdahulu dengan mengintegrasikan variabel psychological attachment (internalization, identification dan compliance) dengan Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). Terdapat 8 variabel dalam penelitian ini, yaitu perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, psychological attachment (internalization, identification dan compliance), attitude toward using, behavioral intention dan actual use.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian survey dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Data penelitian dikumpulkan dari sebanyak 117 mahasiswa di Yogyakarta dengan menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Sementara itu, teknik analisis datanya menggunakan uji regresi linier berganda.Temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: 1) perceived ease of use, identification dan compliance berpengaruh secara positif dan signifikan terhadap sikap; (2) attitude toward using, identification dan compliance berpengaruh secara positif dan signifikan terhadap minat perilaku; (3) Minat perilaku berpengaruh secara positif dan signifikan terhadap perilaku penggunaan sistem informasi. Dengan demikian, temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa psychological attachment (identification dan compliance) merupakan variabel penting yang mempengaruhi perilaku penggunaan sistem informasi.Kata Kunci :  Psychological attachment, technology acceptance model, sistem informasi.

Abstract

Multilevel marketing is a marketing strategy that utilized customers to promote a certain product using multiple levels. This Approach is popular due to the increasing of the accessibility of modern social networks. However, because of this popularity, this method used to deceived customer, by using MLM they cheat customers so its impact on people distrust. Multilevel marketing often received criticism from the community. This is due to most of the people who pursue MLM is not understand the characteristics of the MLM business as a whole, whether in business it contains elements that is forbidden or not, and whether the business marketing system in accordance with Islamic law. This study examines the foundation for the study of the legal status of the clarity of MLM business in the perspective of Islamic law.Keywords: Multilevel marketing; Business; Islamic lawMultilevel marketing merupakan strategi pemasaran yang memanfaatkan konsumen untuk menyalurkan suatu produk tertentu dengan menggunakan beberapa level. Strategi ini sangat populer karena adanya dukungan akses jaringan sosial modern. Namun demikian, dalam perkembangannya, muncul penipuan bisnis yang berkedok MLM sehingga membuat citra bisnis MLM ini menjadi buruk di mata masyarakat. Akibatnya, bisnis MLM ini sering menerima kritik dari masyarakat. Abstract

This paper describes the concept and functions of money in the Islamic economics perspective and analyze the role of money in monetary policy in Islam. The review was interesting to be discussed because there are fundamental differences between the concepts and functions of money in the modern economy and Islamic economics perspectives. In Islam, money is a flow concept and public goods, while capital is a stock concept and private goods. Instead, the concept of money in a modern economy is often interpreted as interchangeability that money as money and money as capital. The presence of money in the economic system will affect the economy of a country, which is usually associated with monetary policy. However, differences in the prevailing economic system, would have a different view about money and monetary policy.

Abstract

This paper will prove a thesis that, in a religious community culture was influenced by three phenomena; modernity, religion and culture of ancestors. That case also happen especially in Kudus in strengthening of spiritual enterprenership that was known as gusjigang as Sunan Kudus’ heritages. This paper analyzed by ethnoarchaeology combined with a semitic approach. Sunan Kudus predicates which, among other known as waliyyul ilmy and also as an Islamic merchants has spawned a cultural communication that reproduces gusjigang culture (bagus/ noble-character, ngaji/ scientific orientation, dagang/ entrepreneurship). Gusjigang culture is part of a local genius who planted by Sunan Kudus is so relevant enough to be developed as the basis of spiritual entrepreneurship or religious capitalism in the coastal areas. The development of Shariah economic studies and also its implementation in order to find a clear distinction needs to pay attention to social and cultural foundation such as the spirit of religious capitalism, that is guided by the principles, values, and religious ethics are built on the basis of justice and goodness (al-Adl wal ihsan) to humanity. In some cases gusjigang culture in Kudus in line with spiritual entrepreneurship ethos and the spirit of religious capitalisme.Paper ini akan membuktikan tesis bahwa budaya masyarakat agama dipengaruhi oleh tiga fenomena yaitu; modernitas, agama dan budaya nenek moyang. Gejala tersebut  juga terjadi di Kudus dalam penguatan spiritual enterprenership yang dikenal dengan gusjigang sebagai warisan Sunan Kudus. Pembahasan tulisan ini dianalisis dengan pendekatan etnoarkeologi dikombinasikan dengan pendekatan Semiotik. Predikat Sunan Kudus yang dikenal sebagai waliyyul ilmy dan juga sebagai pedagang Islam telah melahirkan komunikasi budaya yang mereproduksi budaya gusjigang (baGus, ngaJi, daGang). Budaya Gusjigang merupakan bagian dari kearifan lokal yang ditanamkan oleh Sunan Kudus begitu relevan sebagai dasar pengembangan spiritual enterprenership atau kapitalisme religius di daerah pesisir. Perkembangan studi ekonomi syariah dan juga implementasinya yang distingtif perlu memperhatikan modal sosial dan budaya seperti semangat kapitalisme religius, yang dipandu oleh prinsip-prinsip, nilai-nilai, dan etika universal Islam seperti nilai-nilai keadilan dan kebaikan (al-Adl wal ihsan) bagi umat manusia. Dalam kasus tertentu, budaya gusjigang di Kudus sejalan dengan etos kewirausahaan spiritual dan semangat kapitalisme agama sehingga hal ini bisa dijadikan sebagai landasan budaya dalam membumikan ekonomi syari’ah di pesisir ini.Kata Kunci: Spiritual entrepreneurship, Sunan Kudus, gusjigang, religious capitalism

Abstract

Inequality is a universal problem faced by all modern economic systems. The economic injustice and income inequality of wealth which is the beginning of the emergence of the problem of poverty. The emergence of the concept of thinking about distributive justice in an Islamic economy is motivated by the fact that the economic theories that already exist are not able to resolve the problems of poverty and inequality of income and wealth. Therefore, studies on the distribution of discourse always be attract interest in Islamic economics. This paper describes the concept of distribution in the Islamic economics perspective and analyze the issues of inequality in the distribution system of Indonesia, criticism of the distribution in capitalist economies and concludes with the study of the distribution of Islamic economics in distributive justice as well as the mechanism of distribution in Islam as a solution to the justice and public welfare.

Abstract

Tujuan diadakannya perdagangan ASEAN adalah untuk mengurangi hambatan tarif dan nontarif barang-barang yang diproduksi oleh negara-negara anggota. Oleh karena itu, penting untuk menentukan apakah anggota Asean untung atau rugi dalam transaksi perdagangan mereka. Makalah ini membahas keuntungan dan kerugian dari keunggulan komparatif (comparative advantage)  antara Asean-6. Penulis menggunakan data sekunder dari keunggulan komparatif terungkap (Revealed Comparative Advantage) untuk Asean-6. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa semua Asean-6 negara memperoleh keuntungan dari perdagangan mereka.The aim of ASEAN trade is to reduce tariff and nontariff barriers to goods produced in member countries. Therefore, it is significant to determine whether Asean members gain or loss from their trade. This paper examines the gain and loss of comparative advantage among Asean-6. We employ secondary data of revealed comparative advantage (RCA) for Asean-6. The results obviously indicate that all Asean-6 countries gain from their trade. Abstract

UU. No. 41 Tahun 2004 tentang wakaf dan PP. No. 42 Tahun 2006 tentang pelaksanaan UU. tersebut menjadi pijakan pelaksanaan wakaf uang dalam praktek perwakafan di Indonesia. Wakaf uang diatur dalam pembahasan khusus yang menandakan bahwa pengembangan wakaf uang perlu mendapatkan perhatian serius dalam meningkatkan perekonomian Indonesia. Jadi secara ekonomi, wakaf Islam adalah membangun harta produktif melalui kegiatan investasi dan produksi saat ini, untuk dimanfaatkan hasil bagi generasi yang akan datang. Wakaf juga mengorbankan kepentingan sekarang untuk konsumsi demi tercapainya pengembangan harta produktif yang berorientasi pada sosial, dan hasilnya juga akan dirasakan secara bersama oleh masyarakat. Investasi harta melalui wakaf dalam tatanan Islam sebenarnya merupakan sesuatu yang sangat unik yang berbeda dengan investasi di sektor pemerintah (public sector) maupun sektor swasta (private sector). Praktik wakaf uang sebenarnya telah berjalan di beberapa negara Muslim seperti Mesir dan Tunis. Di Indonesia, wakaf uang berkembang pesat setelah diakui secara legal formal melalui Undang-Undang tentang wakaf tersebut. Kata Kunci: Ekonomi, Wakaf Uang, Manajemen, Investasi Abstract: The Government Regulation on endowments under Act. No. 41 of 2004 on and Regulation No. 42 of 2006 on the implementation of the Act became the foundation a practice of cash waqf in Indonesia. cash waqf need to get serious attention in improving the economy of Indonesia. The goal of waqf in Islam is to build productive assets through investment and production activities which have benefit for the next generations. Waqf are also sacrificing someone not to consumption now in order to achieve productive property for social development and also society. The endowment property through wakf in Islamic is different from the investment in the public sector (public sector) and the private sector (private sector). Practice Cash waqf has actually been working in several Muslim countries like Egypt and Tunis. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of organizational justice on work outcomes. The work outcomes can be viewed from organizational commitment, job satisfaction and employees’ turnover intention in Islamic microfinance institutions in Central Java, Indonesia. This study used three dimensions of organizational justice namely distributive, procedural, and interactional justice. Using self-administrated questionnaire 370 employees from 60 Islamic microfinance institutions were surveyed in order to test nine hypothesis of this study. SEM analysis of data indicates that distributive, procedural and interactional justice have positively significant effect on organizational commitment and job satisfaction. All three dimensions of justice also had negative significant impacted on employees’ turnover intention. Implication, limitation and suggestion for future research are discussed.
