Abstract

High speed computer networks with a large waiting time is a common from of network in the future. In this network are commonly used TCP algorithms have difficullty in sending data. There are several algorithms that has used the BIC, CUBIC and HTCP. These algorithms needs to be tested to determine its performance when apllied to the network topology with two dumbbells, and simple network. Teh results obtained testing the algorithms is best HTCP performance by having the smallest value.

Abstract

This research is based on the needs of a tool which can help farmers in identifying of pests and disease in vegetables/palawija crop, and also  controlling it in order to give the right peptiside. The tool is an expert system capable of not only diagnose, but also to give the operation suggestion. Basically this tool consists of 2 bodyworks, that is, a part for inputting  knowledge bases, and a part for consultancy. The decision making is implemented in terms of production rules. The use of fuzzy inference method and the type of defuzzifier are max-min and center average respectively. Output from this tool is crop pest/disease type and its operation suggestion  according to the level damage of the crop.Penelitian ini dilakukan berdasarkan atas kebutuhan akan adanya alat bantu bagi petani dalam menentukan hama/penyakit pada tanaman sayuran/palawija serta bagaimana mengendalikannya agar tidak keliru dalam memakai peptisida. Alat bantu tersebut merupakan sistem pakar yang selain untuk mendiagnosis, sistem ini diharapkan mampu memberikan saran-saran pengendalian. Pada dasarnya perangkat lunak ini terdiri atas 2 bagian utama, yaitu bagian input basis pengetahuan, dan bagian konsultasi. Keputusan yang diambil dengan menggunakan metode aturan. Metode inferensi yang digunakan adalah metode inferensi fuzzy dengan defuzzifikasi menggunakan metode max-min dan center average. Keluaran dari perangkat lunak ini adalah jenis hama/penyakit yang menyerang tanaman dan saran pengendaliannya sesuai dengan besar kerusakan yang dialami oleh tanaman tersebut.

Abstract

Currently there are many online stores to facilitate sellers to promote their products as well as expand the scope of its work. Online store (webstore) or web e-commerce sales transactions emphasizing that can take place in real time from anywhere as long as it is connected to the net and service orientation to customer / community as its focus. Amazon, Ebay, and Commission Junction is an example webstore. As a burgeoning webstore, they provide many products, ranging from electronic goods, clothing, automotive, jewelry, to books. Sometimes a little trouble if the buyer must access their pages one by one. To that made a sales application designed using webservice technology in order to reduce the problem of data integration from multiple sales sites (Amazon, Commission Junction, and Ebay) so prospective buyers can easily compare various products and prices offered in a market segment. This online sales application created using the PHP programming language and MySQL as the database with data collection methods used in this application is the study of literature and methodology for system development using Waterfall. Resulting software could help the process of integrating data from multiple sales sites (Amazon, Commission Junction, and Ebay). The software also handles the process of adding, changing, and deletion of data products that have been stored in the database. This software is used by 2 users ie visitors / buyers and admin.

Abstract

Communication is the key to conquering this globalization era. And there is no doubtthat the language is the most important part of communication. One can communicate wellwhen using the same language or understanding the language used to each other.Signlanguage is the language of communication priority manually, body language and lip motion incommunicating. Sign language has been standardized by the name Sibi (Cue SystemIndonesian). Sibi is one of the media in the form of books, can help communication among thedeaf in the community. His form is setting a systematic set of fingers, hands, and othermovements that symbolize Indonesian vocabulary. Abstract

PT.Inalum is a manufacturing company engaged in the aluminum smelting industry. PT.Inalum pengendaliaan system requires an inventory of spare parts to conduct maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO). CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) is a computerized maintenance system running on a LAN (Local Area Network). CMMS is influenced by three variables, namely an integrated maintenance, inventory and procurement so as to create a good maintenance should be supported by the inventory control of spare parts used in maintenance. CMMS aims to make the work more efficient and effective, especially in matters relating to maintenance. That as a benchmark to measure the performance of CMMs for spare parts inventory control is a key performance indicator (KPI). This study aims to evaluate and compare key performance indicators before and after implementation of CMMS for the implementation of MRO activities. Another goal to be achieved is to determine the factors that affect the value of the inventory of spare parts. Based on the results of data processing and analysis can be seen that by looking at a comparison of before and after implementation of CMMS on key performance indicators, it appears that there is an improvement in every parameter, one of which is the value of the inventory prior to the implementation of CMMS for $ 34,790,000.00 compared to after the application of the inventory value fell to $ 19,632,000.00. Factors that affect the value of the inventory is the inventory of spare parts, maintenance, procurement, and human resources.

Abstract

Some restaurants are to develop the concept by placing the gazebo-gazebo that were located far apart. With a large area and a place to eat with the amount that more and more the restaurant must provide the waitresses in considerable amounts. Often when the waiter is still busy serving the other guests, then there will be visitors restaurants that can not be served well. In addition, the number of waiters that too many would economically burden the employers because it would result in expenditure will be even greater. Then it can be developed an information system involving hardware and software to apply the reservation system that can be done from the tables or places to eat at a restaurant. Systems built using hardware and software. The hardware is built by using the AVR microcontroller device comprising an IC (Integrated Circuit) which is supported by the power supply, as well as some passive and active components. Software on a microcontroller using C language development tool using CodeVision of AVR. While the computer software using Visual Basic 6.0 programming language. Food ordering system that created it can improve services for consumers in terms of booking. Buyers can make a reservation at the dinner table without going through the waitress who had approached the table and write whatever menu you want to order. Additional bookings can also be done through the table without leaving the place or the waiter.

Competition in today's banking world is getting heavier and tighter. This is because theproducts of the bank with the other banks can be said to be the same. So the competition forgood customers to obtain product deposits and loans (mortgages) increasingly difficult. But thebanking world are now widely utilize information technology to banking activities. Abstract

The development of information systems at the Department of Marine and Fisheries (Dislautkan) DIY basically developed but not optimally yet. Information systems that developed is not integrated for the purpose of establishing a relationship between the customer service in this case the general public, fishermen, fish farmers and partners associated with Department of Marine and Fisheries. Web based information system has not been providing information and services to the public, especially fishermen, limited support facilities services also make the interaction between Department of Marine and Fisheries Customer is not going well and the lack of time to prepare human resources who actually prepared and understanding of e-government by applying CRM models so that the development of e-government towards good governance is achieved

Abstract

Layanan hotline Universitas Pembangunan Nasional “Veteran” Yogyakarta merupakan layanan yang dapat digunakan oleh semua orang. Layanan tersebut digunakan dosen dan pegawai untuk berbagi informasi dengan bagian-bagian yang berlokasi di gedung rektorat. Penelepon dapat berkomunikasi dengan bagian yang dituju apabila telah teridentifikasi oleh petugas layanan hotline. Terminologi identitas yang terdiri dari nama, jabatan serta asal jurusan atau bagian ditanyakan saat proses identifikasi. Tidak terdapat catatan hasil identifikasi penelepon baik dalam bentuk fisik maupun basis data yang terekam pada komputer. Hal tersebut mengakibatkan tidak adanya dokumentasi yang dapat dijadikan barang bukti untuk menindak lanjuti kasus kesalahan identifikasi.  Penelitian ini fokus untuk mengurangi resiko kesalahan identifikasi penelepon menggunakan teknologi speaker recognition. Frekuensi suara diekstraksi menggunakan metode Mel-Frequency Cepstral Coefficient (MFCC) sehingga dihasilkan nilai Mel Frequency Cepstrum Coefficients. Nilai Mel Frequency Cepstrum Coefficients dari semua data latih suara  pegawai Universitas Pembangunan Nasional “Veteran” Yogyakarta kemudian dibandingkan dengan sinyal suara penelpon menggunakan metode Vector Quantization (VQ). Aplikasi pengenalan penutur mampu mengidentifikasi suara penelepon dengan tingkat akurasi 80% pada nilai ambang (threshold) 25.

Abstract

Purpose: This research makes an application to simplify the Boolean function using Quine-McCluskey, because length of the Boolean function complicates the digital circuit, so that it can be simplified by finding other functions that are equivalent and more efficient, making digital circuits easier, and less cost.Design/methodology/approach: The canonical form is Sum-of-Product/Product-of-Sum and is in the form of a file, while the output is in the form of a raw and in the form of a file. Applications can receive the same minterm/maksterm input and do not have to be sequential. The method has been applied by Idempoten, Petrick, Selection Sort, and classification, so that simplification is maximized.Findings/result: As a result, the application can simplify more optimally than previous studies, can receive the same minterm/maksterm input, Product-of-Sum canonical form, and has been verified by simplifying and calculating manually.Originality/value/state of the art: Research that applies the petrick method to applications combined with being able to receive the same minterm/maksterm input has never been done before. The calculation is only up to the intermediate stage of the Quine-McCluskey method or has not been able to receive the same minterm/maksterm input.
