Abstract

This research aims to determine the implementation of knowledge management (KM) in energy companies such as PT. Pertamina (Persero) and PT. Medco EnergiInternasionalTbk., to know the critical success factors of KM implementation, and impact of KM implementation for the organization, and to formulate models of KM implementation in the organization. This research is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach. The data collected was used the literature study technique. This research is an extension of previous research on the proposed model of Organizational Knowledge Management System (OKMS).The results of this research indicate the implementation of KM in both energy companies includes: developing a corporate culture based on knowledge, innovation or products / services / solutions based on knowledge, maximize the companys intellectual capital, knowledge sharing or create an environment to share the knowledge with collaborative way, leadership-leadership factor which fully supports the KM activities, and learning- the methods of application which lead the company as a learning organization. The critical factors in the success implementation of KM is human (people), including leadership, infrastructure, process (learning), culture, and technology. Leadership and cultural factors are the main factors of success of KM implementation in the organization. The KM products as a result of the KM implementation is the process of learning (organizational learning) and the ability of innovation which is the value for the company to be able to kept the competitiveness. It is recommended that further research through questionnaires and in-depth interviews to test the model of KM implementation formulation. Keywords: Knowledge Management,Organizational Learning, Organizational Knowledge Management System (OKMS)

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of environmental factors work terhadapa employee productivity. Environmental factors examined in this study is the coloring, cleanliness, ventilation, lighting, security and noise. The results showed that the factor is a variable coloration coloring dominant influence on the productivity of employees. Respondents are employees working in the functional part Polytechnic functional Batam.Karyawan are employees who work as educators. Abstract

The purpose of this theoretical study is to examine the theoretical basis of Technopreneurship in drop-shipping which compared with the theory of traditional distribution channels as well as linkages with the theory of supply chain management and inventory investment risk perspective. Furthermore, an analysis of the number of the previous research and then be concluded that drop-shipping at level of e-tailer to be breakthrough in the distribution channel for its used in blackberry messenger applications encourage entrepreneurship desires even though with the limited capital. Ease of running business with a lower risk than conventional channels made the drop-shipping as an alternative business option based technology by using the smartphone.Keywords: Technopreneurship, Drop-shipping, E-Tailer, RisikoInvestasidanPersediaan, Blackberry Messenger.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to investigate the effect of mobile marketing and customer perception on brand equity. This study use purposive sampling technique to collect 60 respondents. Abstract

A leader must be able to precisely direct individual goals to organizational goals. Leadership Style is one aspect of leadership in optimizing the ability of natural resources, financial and human resources to achieve organizational goals. The most appropriate leadership style will depend on the function of the leader, subordinates and the situation. Leadership effectiveness can be achieved if the leadership style can adjust to the level of development of the subordinate to the existing situation.In this study, the tool used is a situational leadership style that conveyed by Hersey and Blanchard. Situational leadership model, it can measure the extent of the effectiveness of leadership styles used by the leadership. The method used is descriptive survey. Data obtained, using questionnaires, interviews, and other internal data that is needed.The results of these studies indicate that leadership style and development level of subordinates are not on the same level, still has not been effective results. Thus, it can be concluded that the effectiveness of leadership style that is used is still low, amounting to 57%. With these results it is, the level of employee satisfaction is low there is a leadership shown by the percentage by 56%. Keyword: leader, subordinates, situational leadership, Leadership effectiveness

Abstract

This research was aimed to know difference of the financial performance of the conventional banking and the syariah banking. Financial measured by using ratios: ratio of capital to asset deliberated by according to risk , ratio of earning asset which classified to earning asset (KAP. I), ratio of allowance for possible earning losses to classified earning asset ( KAP.II), ratio of net operating income to operating income (NPM) representing proxy from management, ratio of profit before interest and tax to total asset ( ROA), ratio of operating expenses to operating income (BOPO), ratio of current assets to current liabilities and ratio of loan to deposit (LDR). This research use the saturated simple, that all bank of state of the public ownerships (BUMN) and bank of the Muamalat Indonesia, by using data of the secondary publicized by the Bank Indonesia each of semester, between period 1999 - 2003. The analysis instruments used was Multivariate Discriminant Analysis ( MDA).Results of this research indicate that the CAMEL approach can determine banking financial performance. Pursuant to statistical test really there was financial performance difference between conventional banking and syariah banking, where conventional banking have better finance performance from syariah banking . This research found that asset quality (KAP.I), LDR and ROA, significantly differentiate conventional banking finance performance and syariah banking, in which the KAP.
