Abstract

Penelitian ini menjelaskan peranan Soft Skill dan Minat baca terhadap kemampuan Menulis Eksposisi pada Mata Pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia.Subyek penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI Adan XI B SMA Al-Ikhlas Kota Bekasi, sebanyak 44 siswa. Metode penelitian ini memakai analisis statistik deskriptif. Pengolahan data dengan memakai SPSS 22. Teknik pengambilan data memakai Sampel Random Sampling. Pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, angket dan Tes. Soft Skill dapat mempengaruhi kemampuan Menulis. Kemampuan menulis Eksposisi tergambar siswa yang mempunyai soft skill katagori baik sebesar 45.5%.19 siswa katagori cukup (43.1 %) dan siswa katagori kurang sebanyak 5 siswa (11.4%). Siswa yang mempunyai minat baca katagori baik sebanyak 11 siswa (25 %), 4 siswa katagori cukup (9.1 %) dan 29 siswa kategori kurang (65,9%). Pada kemampuan menulis siswa yang mempunyai kemampuan menulis katagori baik sebanyak 18 siswa (41 %), cukup sebanyak 13 siswa (29.5 %) dan kurang sebanyak 13 siswa (29,5%).

Abstract

Vocalization is the most important and difficult aspect to be explained in correlation with its role in evocating literary facts and also its term complexity for understanding a work. Mieke Bal explains his theory in three parts, namely fabula, story, and text. Vocalization includes in a story. The result description (1) by understanding a developing-set of events and accompanying dialogue, NAM is a narrative text. This novel is a kind of framing text (wrapped story in a story). (2) The vocalized objects, that are the characters and space presentation. (3) The existence of riddles and treatment is one of the tensions in the novel.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsi karakteristik kebutuhan media pop culture up rumah adat Jawa untuk pembelajaran menyusun teks deskripsi pada peserta didik SMP kelas VII, mengembangkan media, dan mendeskripsikan penilaian ahli terhadap media pop culture up rumah adat Jawa untuk pembelajaran menyusun teks deskripsi pada peserta didik SMP kelas VII. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan Research and Development (R&D). Sumber data penelitian ini adalah siswa, guru, dan dosen ahli. Teknik pengumpulan data kebutuhan penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini adalah didapatkannya karakteristik kebutuhan media pop culture up rumah adat Jawa untuk pembelajaran menyusun teks deskripsi: (1) aspek penyajian isi/materi adalah penyajian gambar pop up beserta keterangan bagian-bagianya dan cara menyusun teks deskripsi; (2) aspek bahasa dan keterbacaan disesuaikan dengan kemampuan peserta didik; (3) aspek tampilan 2D, perpaduan warna, serta jenis huruf disesuaikan. Penilaian terhadap media pop culture up rumah adat Jawa: (1) aspek grafika mendapat nilai 79,1 dengan kategori baik, (2) aspek penyajian isi/materi mendapat nilai 75,2 dengan kategori baik, dan  (3) aspek bahasa dan keterbacaan mendapat nilai 81,6 dengan kategori sangat baik.

Abstract

This paper discussed Bahasa Indonesia as one of the general course in higher education. In the university, this subject includes in personality development. Therefore, the purpose of this subject is not limited to the ability to use the rules of language in communication. This paper aims to show that at the level of langue, Indonesian can be used to develop student creativity. The concept of this langue as proposed by Saussure. Within this concept, there are syntagmatic and associative relationships that can be used to develop student creativity through scientific papers. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. Based on the analysis that already conducted, found that through a search of constituents which have syntagmatic and associative relations in the form of words, phrases, and sentences, then we can found the new ideas and creativity can be developed and contained in the form of scientific papers.

Abstract

Children’s low interest in reading storybook is caused by the lack of variety of books in the markets. One of the effort to increase the variety of books is to use the settings of a Scout’s Raiser activity. The aim of this study is to find out the quality of the books in the markets, the needs of storybooks based on the Scout’s Raiser activity, and to design a storybook based on the setting of Scout’s Raiser Activity. The data was collected through observation, interview, and questionnaires. The result of the study was a children’s storybook with a Scout’s Raiser activity as the background of the story. The students want a storybook about adventure, which is using a communicative language, contains an illustration that describes the story, and also a cheerful color that can attract them. The design of the storybook based on the settings of Scout’s Raiser activity was arranged based on the questionnaires.
