Abstract

Labor process is complex. Anatomically and physiologically must be monitored during labor process. Normal labor case is higher than labor with medical interventional. In Indonesia, labor process training still used conventional simulation media. The simulation can’t determined about labor process and monitoring during labor process. Thus, model that can simulate of labor process and monitoring during labor process in stage I and II must be provided This research expected to contribute in learning media to simulate normal labor process and monitored during labor process in stage I and II. Biomodeling expected to provide understanding about labor process, stage of labor, and monitoring during labor process. This research conducted with approach method scenario based model for simulate gameplay for normal labor process and monitoring in stage I and II. Based on literature about reproductive system organ and physiological, also must be monitored about physiological change during labor process with partograf  WHO standard and analyze parameter to determined labor process closely with the reality. Beside that, theory of labor process and pushing in contraction also be analyze  to find the basic formula from physic and mathematical concept. From the basic formula, modified basic formula for scenario gameplay simulation of normal labor process and monitoring in stage I and II.The result of this research was produce biomodeling to determine normal labor process, the stage of labor, and physiological monitoring for report that monitored appropriate with WHO partograf standard. Abstract

The method used is an experiment in a laboratory. Anopheles sp obtained from eggs. Betel leaf extract concentration of 20%, 40% and 80% tested thrust or power protection against Anopheles spp. Observations on the number of mosquitoes that landed on the arm of every hour starting at 1st (immediately after the application of) up to 6th hour. Power protection betel leaf extract is effective if ≥ 90% power protection. The results showed that the protective power of betel leaf extract against Anopheles spp at a concentration of 20% by 50%, the concentration of 40% as much as 68.75% and a concentration of 80% as much as 93.75%. Power protection is effective concentrations of 80% with 93.75% of power protection. This is consistent with the Commission on Pesticides (1995, H.2) which states that the repellent is considered effective if ≥ 90% power protection.

Abstract

One method to prevent caries prevalence is by breaking the chain of caries causes. Bacteria as an agent of caries decay can be diminished. Utilization of waste in nature is more valuable. Extraction of shell of squid and shrimp can be proceeded as Chitosan. Chitosan contain antibacterial agent based on many researches. Aim of this research to formulate mouth wash contain chitosan and its influences on plaque index and pH saliva after rinsing. Chitosan mouth wash formulation is by dissolving chitosan powder on aquadest and added chemical agent as flavour, coloring and solvent. Research subyek was 10 students, cross over rinsing with chitsan mouth wash and control mouth wash. Rinsing was done every day at morning and night after tooth brushing for 5 days. Plaque index and pH saliva measured first day before rinsing and last day. Subyek’s compliance was determined by volume of mouth wash rest in the bottle at last day research. Washing out time was five days before the next five days for another mouth wash. Research result shown significanly differences on plaque index and pH saliva before nd after rinsing with chitosan mouth wash (p≤ 0,05). Meanwhile there was no significanly differences after rinsing with control group. Raise of pH saliva after rinsing with chitosan mouth wash is higher compared to control grou.ntocaterial agent

Abstract

Rampan caries is the habit of bottle feeding at night, sweets preference and often meals sucking. Saliva is one of the factors that may influence the occurrence of caries. Some of the factors that cause caries saliva such as saliva pH, hydration, microorganisms of the oral cavity and salivary buffer capacity. The research objective was to determine the relationship of hydration, pH, buffer capacity salivary and growth Streptoccoccus mutans against caries severity or deft.A sample of 30 kindergartens ABA Banyumanik Semarang with rampan caries criteria. Age samples between 4-6 years. Examination of caries severity measured by deft. Measurement of hydration with methods the water droplets on the surface of the labial mucosa of the lower lip. Measuring pH with pHmeter. A buffer capacity of saliva measured by acid-base titration. Measured Streptoccoccus mutans growth with agar culture method. The results showed the average of caries index (deft)  in children kindergarten ABA Banyumanik Semarang was 7.167. While hydration saliva was 12.867, while the pH of saliva average was 6.517 and the number of Streptococcus mutans on average 6.7 x 102 CFU / ml. Multiple linear regression statistical tests showed that there was a significant relationship between the simultaneous hydration, pH, buffer capacity of saliva, the growth of Streptococcus mutans with caries severity (deft). Partial correlation test of the four independent variables showed only hydration showed no relationship with deft. While pH, buffer capacity, and the number of Streptococcus mutans demonstrated relationship to deft.

Abstract

Malaria eradication program currently with two aspect mainly is one aspect decided chain vector and plasmodium transmission, so not next transmission. In fact a lot mosquitoes out of the house than inside the house, but the sprayingis done event in the house, some research suggests it 97,96% mosquitoes outside the house (Santjaka A, 2010), precipitin test 0,53 to 2,29% anthrophophilic (Bangs, 1989) to An.barbirostris 1,47% (Munif, Sudomo, Soekarno, 2007). Thus, spraying inside the house should be reconsidered. This study to answer the anomalous this fact, by doing long lasting insecticide nets in cattle and also it to map mosquitoes anopheles Spp, density and delatation. The research method used was pre experimental design with pre and post test is by giving mosqitoes was 98,7% were Anminimus and maculatus, and the rest An.kochi and An.vagus. 73,3% of mosquitoes cought in the cage. Conditions delatation36,36% one delatation, nulliporous rest, so it canbe said to include young mosquitoes.

Abstract

The raising of diabetes melitus has increased complication on diabetes, one of that occurence is the wound on patients’ foot (diabetic foot ulcer). There are three supporting factors to diabetic foot ulcer likes neurotic disturbance, infection, and flow of blood disturbance. Researchs showed the capability comparison of hydrogel in debridement on necrotic tissue with debridemen enzimatic, hydrogel has better result in debridement and granulation on the tissue grow faster. The purpose of this research is to find out the efectiveness of healing wound by using Normal Saline(NaCl 0,9%) and hydrogel for diabetes melitus patinets’ with ulcer. This research is a quantitave one with experimental design. Population of this research are all of the diabetes melitus patients’ with ulcer. Method of sampling is using purposive sampling which collected 30 respondent foe each group. This data prepared with independent t – test, but abnormality distribution of data, become use alternative analize is using Mann-Whitney U-test.The result of data analize by using Mann-Whitney U-test and 5% signification, with ρ = 0,000 with Z result : 6,482 and mean rank 45,08:15,92 (3:1) it means that hydrogel is more effective than normal saline in healing wound for diabetes melitus patinets’ with ulcer at District of Semarang Hospital. The mean repaired ulcer with hydrogel decrease mean 10-13 point and normal saline decrease 2-3 point on 9 days (Bates Jansen scale). Conclusion this woundcare with hydrogel 3 poit more effectiveness than normal saline on regenetaion tissues. This advice make hydrogel for woundcare diabetic ulcer or more ulcers.
