Abstract

Cloud Computing is a trend that includes several categories of services, all offered in the form of an Internet service with a model pay for what is used by the user (pay as you go). Software as a Service (SaaS) is one in this category, in addition to Platform as a Service (PaaS) and Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS). SaaS is the most mature category of Cloud Service, as evolved from the model application service-provider. Hospital as an institution that provides service every day of non-stop for 24 hours, began requiring the application of Cloud Computing to save operating costs of data processing, improve agility, but still can involve a lot of users. Therefore we need an appropriate architecture to meet the expectations of the Hospital. SaaS architecture in hospital services will contribute to the Data Architecture, Application Architecture and Technical Architecture will even contribute also to the Organizational Architecture. Keywords: Cloud Computing, Software as a Service

Abstract

Cloud Computing Technology is one of the technologies that can help facilitate the organization of activities related to the communication of data and information. For higher education, the need for the use of cloud computing technology is an urgent need that can be used as a support system that can support existing business processes, in addition to useful to smooth the process of data communication and information, both internally and externally. This research will be carried out aiming to obtain accurate information about what the strategy should be prepared colleges to adopt cloud-based technology GAfE (Google Apps for Education). This is necessary because the process of adopting these technologies require support, policies and measures are obvious.The target of this research will be the availability of guidelines and strategic roadmap on cloud computing technology in accordance with the conditions of private universities in the region III Cirebon of West Java Province. The plan of activities that will be conducted are to conduct an analysis of existing conditions in the private universities related to the needs of cloud computing technology by conducting a SWOT analysis, to obtain accurate information on the basis of the potential possessed, followed by an analysis of the forms of technology provided by GAfE that can be implemented by the private universities and finally made the strategic direction for private universities to be able to use cloud computing technology. Keywords:  Cloud Computing Technology, Support System, GAfE, Analisis SWOT, Roadmap

Abstract

Mobile phones (cell phones) are now used not only for conversation but also to play games and so on. The presence Java2 Micro Edition (J2ME) is expected to answer those needs while making more multifunctional mobile phones. Currently the latest generation of mobile phones has the ability to apply the J2ME program, which is a Java program that is specifically designed for mobile devices. Java enabled mobile applications meet the needs of its users through a variety of exciting programs. Because it can be done offline phones not only can be used as a communication tool but it can also be used as tool translator English words into Indonesian. Keywords: Phones, J2ME, Java Program, Translator   Abstrak Telepon seluler (ponsel) sekarang digunakan tidak hanya untuk percakapan tapi juga untuk bermain games dan sebagainya. Hadirnya Java2 Micro Edition (J2ME) diharapkan dapat menjawab kebutuhan tersebut sekaligus membuat ponsel lebih multifungsi. Saat ini ponsel generasi terbaru memiliki kemampuan mengaplikasikan program J2ME, yaitu program Java yang khusus dirancang untuk peranti bergerak. Aplikasi Java memungkinkan ponsel memenuhi kebutuhan penggunanya melalui berbagai program menarik.Karena dapat dilakukan secara offline ponsel tidak hanya dapat digunakan sebagai alat komunikasi tapi dapat juga digunakan sebagai alat penerjemah kata bahasa Inggris ke bahasa Indonesia. Kata Kunci: Ponsel, J2ME, Program Java, Penerjemah

Abstract

Services closely related to the quality of the services provided to customers, as well as with the quality of service received by customers in obtaining the services provided by the college. This study was conducted to investigate the implementation of marketing services performed by using descriptive analysis of the sample of students who meet the established criteria. The results showed that the implementation of the mix of services performed is sufficient that responsiveness aspect is an element of service with the highest scores  and tangible aspects are elements of service with the lowest score.Keywords: marketing services; descriptive analysis; college

Abstract

United Grain Growers Company (UGG), which is a company engaged in agriculture in Canada. UGG risk management practices that are innovative enough to bring the award of best practices by insuring exposure not previously been insured, such as weather risks that are integrated with other risks. For that level of climate change risk analysis will determine the level of harvest delivery volume by analyzing the retention side, derivatives, and insurance. Keywords: UGG, Risk Management, Risk Weather, Retention Weather, Weather Derivatives, Insurance  Abstrak Perusahaan United Grain Growers (UGG), yaitu perusahaan yang bergerak di  bidang pertanian di Kanada. Praktik manajemen risiko UGG yang cukup inovatif mendatangkan penghargaan praktik terbaik dengan mengasuransikan eksposur yang sebelumnya belum pernah diasuransikan, seperti risiko cuaca yang diintegrasikan dengan risiko lainnya. Abstract

The usage of websites today are not only used by professionals or business, usage of the website is now widely used by the community, small or large scale organizations, or individuals. Directly proportional to the number of web site usage in the community, creating websites are increase in great demand by the public, but the creating a website is still a problem when it should be faced with the need for a professional website builder or often called a webmaster, although constraints in the manufacturing site web can be overcome by the presence of the webmaster, but the cost in the supply of webmasters to create, manage and maintain a website is still fairly high, until founded a web site creation technology using software content management system that allows for individuals to create, manage and maintain a website with ease on their own. Content management systems simplify the creation of a website by providing a backend that is easily to understood by the people who have no knowledge in web programming. In the presence content management system is very diverse, but for content management systems in the country is still very small and still requires some knowledge of web programming, so the authors try to apply a content management system that minimizes the use of programming knowledge base website with codeigniter framework as one of the most widely documented framework so that many people who are able to create, manage and maintain web sites independently without the need to have knowledge of website programming. Keywords : Content management system, Web, Framework, Codeigniter, Webmaster

Abstract

PHP is a web-based programming language in which the system is implemented on the server side. PHP can be inserted between the HTML language scripts and other server side language arena, with it then PHP will be executed directly on the server. While the browser will execute the web page through which the server will then receive the display “results so" in an HTML form, whereas PHP code itself will not be visible. Keyword : PHP, Web, Software,  Programming Abstrak PHP merupakan salah satu bahasa pemograman berbasis web dimana sistem yang diterapkan adalah pada sisi server side. PHP dapat disisipkan diantara skrip-skrip bahasa HTML dan arena bahasa server side lainnya, dengan itu maka PHP akan dieksekusi secara langsung pada server. Sedangkan browser akan mengeksekusi halaman web tersebut melalui server yang kemudian akan menerima tampilan “hasil jadi” dalam bentuk HTML, sedangkan kode PHP itu sendiri tidak akan dapat terlihat.  Kata Kunci : PHP, Web, Perangkat Lunak, Pemograman

Abstract

 This study is about application development of learn how to write alphabet A-Z both uppercase and lowercase letter, number and object word that length is not longer than 5 letters. The application packed into a game where there are images, animations and audio for background music and sound effect. The purpose is to make player not bored while learning how to write. The images theme is colorful, while the audio theme is cheerful. The application was developed for Android and iOS-based device using Cocos2d-x framework that built in C++ language programming. A lot of variations in both Android and iOS device ultimately from screen resolution could become a problem in application development. The solution that was taken is to use a single image that have biggest resolution, so when it’s used into a device which have smaller screen resolution, scaling is used for the image asset. In the development, the player can see hint animation as a guide how to write a letter or number. The writing standard refer to handwritingforkids.com website. The game will be over when the player has finished the writing that fit with the sequence that shown by the hint. The game score will be displayed when the game is over, and the highest score will be saved in the application as a record. The score of the game valued by the player writings. In a level, there are obstacles and checkpoints that placed in certain positions. The checkpoint placed inside of the letter or number line. While the obstacle placed on the outside of the letter or number line. The more the obstacle touched, then the more the player score will decrease.Keywords: cocos2d-x framework; learning application; game education

Abstract

In designing Robot Follow Line based on Microcontroller MA 8535, I faced same problems, such as how its hardware is designed and how this program design functions to run the system of the series. The aim of designing this system is in order to aware human to know the functions of the robot in simplifying human word. Basically, this system series is designed to change the signal analog on a censor to became a digital value and finally become move. Having tested the system resulting that the system with C language is capable to give the instructive signal to the hardware to such instructions the form of a move. It is to conclude that the tool functions well and the output is suitable to the expectation and conforms to the initial aim of the research and the designing of this robot. Key Word: Robot Line Follow, Microcontroller ATMEGA MA 8535 v.2.0,                                           Infrared, Foto Dioda, Comparator.

Abstract

WALHI aware of the tendency of environmental damage more massive and complex both in rural and urban areas. Deteriorating environmental conditions openly acknowledged influence the social dynamics of political and socioeconomic conditions both at the community, regional, and national levels. To ensure the sustainability of future generations needed a strong social movements and widespread. Future generations are entitled to a good environment and healthy. For that generation now responsible for maintaining and improving the quality of a better environment. Porter Competitive models used to understand and evaluate the environmental structure and threats in a type of business.  Model Porter explains that there are five forces that determine kemenarikkan and profitability of the industry, namely: Competitors in the same industry (Intraindustry rivalry), The strength of the consumer (The bargaining power of buyers), Strength of the suppliers (The bargaining power odd suppliers ), threat of new competitors (The threat of new entrants), threats from supporters of the product or service (The threat of substitute product or service). Keywords: Competitive Model Porter, Intraindustry  Rivalry, Power Of Buyers, Power Od Suppliers, Substitute Product Or Service Abstrak WALHI sadar kecenderungan kerusakan lingkungan hidup semakin masif dan kompleks baik di pedesaan dan perkotaan. Untuk menjamin keberlanjutan kehidupan generasi mendatang dibutuhkan gerakan sosial yang kuat dan meluas. Generasi mendatang berhak atas lingkungan hidup yang baik dan sehat. Untuk itu generasi sekarang bertanggungjawab mempertahankan dan meningkatkan kualitas lingkungan yang lebih baik. Model Kompetitif Porter digunakan untuk memahami dan mengevaluasi struktur lingkungan dan ancaman dalam suatu jenis usaha.
