Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini diantaranya: (1) menemukan karakteristik perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan, (2) mendeskripsikan kevalidan perangkat pembelajaran, (3) menganalisis keefektifan pembelajaran menggunakan perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan dan (4) menganalisis peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa melalui pengunaan perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan. Metode dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Research  And Development menggunakan model Plomp. Hasil penelitian ini diantaranya: (1) karakteristik perangkat pembelajaran yaitu mengandung komponen kemampuan berpikir kritis dan memanfaatkan TIK, (2) perangkat pembelajaran berkategori sangat valid, (3) efektif diterapkan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran matematika, (4) perangkat pembelajaran melalui teori pembelajaran sibernetik berbantuan software derive dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswa Development of Mathematical Devices Learning Through the Learning Sibernetic Theory to Assisted Derive Software  AbstractThe purpose of this research including: ( 1 ) find characteristic device learning developed , ( 2 ) described validity device learning , ( 3 ) analyze effectiveness of learning using learning devices developed and ( 4 ) analyzing the improved critical thinking ability of students through the use of a device of learning developed . Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan keefektifan model pembelajaran Realistik dalam Seting Kooperatif (RESIK) ditinjau dari sikap terhadap matematika, motivasi belajar matematika, dan kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswa SMP. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu dengan pretest-postest non equivalent group design. Penelitian ini menggunakan satu kelompok eksperimen dan satu kelompok kontrol. Populasi penelitian mencakup seluruh siswa kelas VII SMPN 1 Selong, Kabupaten Lombok Timur, NTB yang terdiri dari 6 kelas. Untuk menguji keefektifan model pembelajaran RESIK dan model konvensional ditinjau dari masing-masing aspek yaitu sikap terhadap matematika, motivasi belajar matematika, dan kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis digunakan analisis one sample t-test pada taraf signifikansi 5%. Selanjutnya untuk membandingkan keefektifan model pembelajaran RESIK dan model konvensional ditinjau dari aspek sikap terhadap matematika, motivasi  belajar matematika, dan kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis data dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji T2 Hotteling dengan taraf signifikansi 5%, dan uji-t univariat untuk menentukan model manakah yang lebih efektif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran RESIK efektif ditinjau dari sikap terhadap matematika, motivasi belajar matematika, dan kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswa. Model pembelajaran RESIK lebih efektif daripada model konvensional ditinjau dari sikap terhadap matematika, motivasi belajar matematika, dan kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis.Kata Kunci: realistik, kooperatif, RESIK The effectiveness of the realistic model in cooperative setting in terms of the attitude, motivation, and mathematical critical thinking skill of junior high school students AbstractThis research aimed to describe the effectiveness of the realistic model in cooperative setting (RESIK model) in terms of the attitude, motivation, and mathematical critical thinking skill of junior high school students. This research was a quasi experimental study using pretest-posttest non equivalent group design. In this study, two experimental groups were used. Population of research covered the whole number of six classes of grade VII student of SMPN 1 Selong, Lombok Timur, NTB. There were three different tests used to examine the data. One sample t-test at a significance level of 5% was used to examine the effectiveness of learning using RESIK model and conventional approach in terms of the aspect of students’ attitude toward mathematics, mathematics learning motivation, and mathematical critical thinking skill. Then the data was analyzed using T2 Hotteling test at significance level of 5% to compare the effectiveness of RESIK model and conventional approach, and the last test was by using t-univariat test to determine which approach was more effective. The result indicates that both RESIK model and conventional approach in learning mathematics were effective in terms of the aspect of students’ attitude toward mathematics, mathematics learning motivation, and mathematical critical thinking skill at grade VII of SMPN 1 Selong. RESIK model more effective than conventional model in terms of the aspect of students’ attitude toward mathematics, mathematics learning motivation, and mathematical critical thinking skill.Keywords: realistic, cooperative, RESIK

Abstract

This research aims to produce mathematics textbook for grade VII junior high school students based on realistic mathematics and oriented to the mathematical reasoning and mathematical communication. The quality is determined based on Nieveen criteria, including validity, practicality, and effectiveness.This study was a research and development and used Borg Gall model. The subject of this research were the students of SMPN 2 Pujon-Kabupaten Malang, that is 30 students in an experimental class (using the developed textbook) and 29 students in a control class (using BSE book from the government). The teaching material was categorized valid if the expert's judgment at least is categorized as “good”. The teaching material was categorized practical if both of teachers and students assessment at least categorized as “good”. The teaching material was categorized effectively if minimum 75% of student scores at least is categorized as “good” for the mathematical reasoning test and mathematical communication test. This research resulted in a valid, practical, and effective teaching material. The resulted of the validation show that material teaching is valid. The resulted of teachers and students assessment show that the product is practical. The tests scores show that the product is effective. Percentage of students who categorized at least as “good” is 83,33% for the mathematical reasoning and 86,67% for the mathematical communication. The resulted of statistic test shows that the product more effective than the BSE book from the government in terms of mathematical reasoning and mathematical communication.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan bahan ajar statistika dan peluang berbasis multiple intelligences berorientasi pada prestasi belajar, kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan rasa ingin tahu siswa SMP kelas VII yang valid, praktis, dan efektif. Bahan ajar yang dihasilkan memuat konteks, ilustrasi, dan aktivitas yang bervariasi. Terdapat bagian peta konsep, tokoh kita, cari tahu, ingat kembali, pahami masalah, mengamati, gali informasi, menalar, diskusi dan berbagi, pahami contoh, motivasi, melatih diri, pecahkan masalah, proyek mandiri, pecahkan teka-teki, ruang ekspresi, dan uji kompetensi pada struktur bahan ajar. Prosedur pengembangan menggunakan 5 tahapan yaitu: (1) Analisis, (2) Perancangan, (3) Pengembangan (4) Implementasi, dan (5) Evaluasi. Subjek uji coba adalah siswa kelas VIIA SMP Negeri 4 Kalibening, Kabupaten Banjarnegara yang terdiri atas 26 siswa. Instrumen  penelitian yang digunakan terdiri atas lembar validasi, lembar observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran, lembar penilaian kepraktisan oleh siswa, lembar penilaian kepraktisan oleh guru, dan instrumen keefektifan bahan ajar. Analisis data dilakukan dengan mengkonversi total skor data kuantitatif yang diperoleh menjadi data kualitatif skala lima. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa bahan ajar memenuhi kriteria valid, praktis, dan efektif ditinjau dari prestasi belajar, kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan rasa ingin tahu siswa.Kata Kunci: pengembangan; bahan ajar; multiple intelligences; prestasi belajar; kemampuan pemecahan masalah; rasa ingin tahu Developing Statistics and Probability Teaching Material Based on Multiple Intelligences and Oriented to the Achievement, Problem Solving, and Curiosity AbstractThis research aims to produce teaching material based on multiple intelligences and oriented to the learning achievement, problem-solving, and curiosity of grade VII Junior High School Students that is valid, practical, and effective. The teaching material that contains contexts, illustrations, and various activities. There is part of a map the concept, our figure, find out, remember back, understand the problem, observation, dig it information, reasoning, discussion and share, understand example, motivation, train themselves, problem-solving, project self-sufficient, riddles solving, the expression, and the test competency on the structure of teaching material. The quality is determined based on Nieveen criteria, including validity, practicality, and effectiveness. This study was a research and development using Branch (ADDIE) model which consisted of 5 (five) steps, that is: (1) Analysis, (2) Design, (3) Development, (4) Implementation, and (5) Evaluation. The subject of this research were 26 students of grade VIIA SMP Negeri 4 Kalibening-Kabupaten Banjarnegara. The research instrument included validation sheets, observation sheets for learning implementation, questionnaires for teachers and students, and the effectiveness instrument. The data analysis was done by converting the total score of the quantitative data into qualitative data in rating scale of five. The result shows that the teaching materials are valid, practical, and effective in terms of achievement, problem-solving ability, and curiosity.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan keefektifan dan perbandingan keefektifan dari pendekatan  problem solving dengan setting pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD, pendekatan problem solving dengan setting pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TAI, serta pendekatan konvensional ditinjau dari aspek prestasi belajar matematika dan self-confidence siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu dengan desain nonequivalent group pretest-posttest design. Populasi penelitian mencakup seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Prambanan. Selanjutnya dengan memilih secara acak dari keseluruhan kelas tersebut, terpilih kelas VIII A, VIII C dan VIII D sebagai sampel penelitian. Uji keefektifan masing-masing pendekatan pembelajaran menggunakan one sample t-test. Selanjutnya untuk menguji perbandingan keefektifan dari ketiga pendekatan pembelajaran, data dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji Tukey HSD. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) ketiga pendekatan pembelajaran efektif ditinjau dari masing-masing aspek; (2) pendekatan problem solving dengan setting pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD dan pendekatan problem solving dengan setting pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TAI, masing-masing lebih unggul dari pada pendekatan konvensional ditinjau dari masing-masing aspek, sedangkan antara pendekatan problem solving dengan setting pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TAI dengan pendekatan problem solving dengan setting pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD tidak terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan ditinjau dari masing-masing aspek.Kata Kunci: pendekatan problem solving dengan setting STAD, pendekatan problem solving dengan setting TAI, prestasi belajar, self-confidence. The Effectiveness of Problem Solving Approach in STAD and TAI Setting Viewed from the Students’ Achievement and Self-Confidence AbstractThe aim of this research was to describe the effectiveness and comparison the effectiveness of the problem solving approach in STAD setting, problem solving approach in TAI setting, and conventional approach viewed from students’ achievement and self-confidence.. This research was a nonequivalent group pretest-posttest design.The research population covered the entire VIII class students’ of SMP Negeri 1 Prambanan. From the population, classes of VIIIA, VIII C and VIII D were selected randomly as the research sample. The effectiveness of problem solving approach in STAD setting, problem solving approach in TAI setting, and conventional approachused one sample t-test.  Furthermore, The comparison of the problem solving approach in STAD setting, problem solving approach in TAI setting, and conventional approach used Tukey HSD test. The research result suggests that (1) the problem solving approach in STAD setting, problem solving approach in TAI setting, and conventional approach were effective viewed from each aspect, (2) the problem solving approach in STAD setting and problem solving approach in TAI setting were more effective than conventional approach viewed from each aspect, but between the problem solving approach in TAI setting and problem solving approach in STAD setting, there is no significant difference viewed from the students’ achievement and self-confidenceKeywords: problem solving approach in STAD setting, problem solving approach in TAI setting, students’ achievement, self-confidence.

Abstract

This research aims to describe: (1) the quality of mathematics school examination test of the Junior High School for the academic year 2015/2016 in Kabupaten Bangkalan based on qualitative analysis of tests item, (2) ) the quality of mathematics school examination test of Junior High School for the academic year 2015/2016 in Kabupaten Bangkalan based on quantitative analysis of test items, and (3) the test equating on mathematics school examination test for the academic year of 2015/2016 of Junior High School in Kabupaten Bangkalan. A test is said to be quality if it fulfills validity, reliability, and it has good characteristic. A test is said to be equivalent to another if the test scores of one test can be exchanged with the scores of another test. The data is taken from school examination script accompanied with the answer sheets of students. Qualitative data analysis was conducted with the help of experts judgement. Quantitative data analysis was conducted with Classical Test Theory by Iteman and Item Response Theory by BilogMG. These programs are used to find out the test quality quantitatively. In order to analyze the equivalence between series of tests, item-characteristic curves were used. These curves were drawn by Geogebra. The research result shows: (1) qualitatively, the test plan quality of mathematics school examination test is quite good. Meanwhile, the school exam quality is quite good and not so good, (2) quantitatively, the school examination test quality is good, and (3) equating, based on the item-characteristic curves, the school examination tests is equal.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengaruh penerapan model blended learning terhadap pemahaman konsep dan kelancaran prosedur matematis siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan eksperimen semu dengan rancangan posttest only control group design. Populasi penelitian mencakup seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Sukawati tahun pelajaran 2017/2018. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 2 kelas dipilih menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Model pembelajaran blended learning yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah flipped classrrom model dengan Edmodo yang digunakan sebagai media pendukung dalam pembelajaran online. Pemahaman konsep dan kelancaran prosedur matematis diukur menggunakan tes berbentuk soal uraian yang valid dan reliabel. Selanjutnya data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan uji MANOVA dengan taraf signifikan 5% (α = 0,05). Hasil pengujian hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran blended learning berpengaruh positif terhadap pemahaman konsep dan kelancaran prosedur matematis siswa.The effect of blended learning model toward mathematical conceptual understanding and procedural fluencyAbstractThis study aimed to describe the effect of implementing a blended learning model toward mathematical conceptual understanding and procedural fluency. This study was quasi-experimental research with a posttest only control group design. The population in this study includes all student 8th grade of SMP Negeri 1 Sukawati, Indonesia in the academic year 2017/2018. Two class as samples were obtained by using simple random sampling technique. Blended learning model used in this study was a flipped classroom model with Edmodo which used as supporting online learning. Mathematical conceptual understanding and procedural fluency were measured by a test that has been valid and reliable. Furthermore, the data obtained were analyzed by using the MANOVA test with 5% significance level (α = 0.05). The results of the hypothesis test showed that the blended learning model has a positive effect on students’ mathematical conceptual understanding and procedural fluency

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan produk berupa perangkat pembelajaran matematika SMK menggunakan pendekatan saintifik berorientasi prestasi belajar dan kemampuan komunikasi matematika. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan dengan model four-D dari Thiagarajan. Model ini terdiri atas empat tahapan pengembangan yaitu define (pendefenisian), design (desain), develop (pengembangan) dan desseminate (penyebaran). Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah dengan mengelompokan data berdasarkan kualifikasi produk, kemudian dilakukan perhitungan untuk memperoleh nilai rata-rata yang dimasukkan dalam kategori penilaian skala Likert. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah produk perangkat pembelajaran matematika SMK menggunakan pendekatan saintifik yang berorientasi pada prestasi belajar dan kemampuan komunikasi matematika siswa SMK yang terdiri atas RPP, LKS dan TPB. Setelah melalui tahapan validasi, produk RPP produk dinyatakan valid, produk perangkat memenuhi kategori sangat praktis, dan hasil tes prestasi belajar dan kemampuan komunikasi matematika memenuhi kategori efektif. Produk pengembangan yang dihasilkan telah memenuhi kriteria valid, praktis dan efektif, maka produk layak dimanfaatkan untuk pembelajaran di kelas.Kata Kunci: perangkat pembelajaran, pendekatan saintifik, kemampuan komunikasi matematika Developing Scientific-Approach-Based Learning Kit of Limit Oriented to Mathematics Learning Achievements and Communication Skills AbstractThis study is aimed at producing mathematics learning kit for SMK using the scientific approach oriented to students’ mathematics learning achievements and communication skills.This research was a research and development employing the four-D model by Thiagarajan. The model consisted of four development stages, namely define, design, develop, and disseminate. The research instruments were validation sheets, practicallity sheets, and learning achievement tests. The data were analyzed by grouping the data based on the product qualification and then calculations were made to obtain mean scores classified into categories in the Likert scale assessment. The results of the study are a product in the form of mathematics learning kit for SMK using the scientific approach oriented to students’ mathematics learning achievements and communication skills, consisting of lesson plans, student worksheets, and learning achievement tests. Through the product validation stage, the lesson plans are considered to be valid. The product is very practical, and the results of the mathematics learning achievement and communication skill tests show that the product is effective. The developed product is valid, practical, and effective, and is appropriate to be used in classroom.Keywords: learning kit, scientific approach, mathematics communication skills

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran statistika SMP dengan pendekatan saintifik, meliputi rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran (RPP) dan lembar kegiatan siswa (LKS) yang valid, praktis dan efektif. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan mengacu model pengembangan Borg Gall. Sebagai sumber data, dilibatkan enam orang siswa kelas IX, 56 siswa kelas VII, dan tiga orang guru SMP Negeri 1 Tulang Bawang Udik, Provinsi Lampung. Data diperoleh dengan menggunakan instrumen lembar validasi, lembar observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran, lembar penilaian kepraktisan oleh siswa, lembar keterbacaan, lembar penilaian kepraktisan oleh guru, dan instrumen kefektifan perangkat pembelajaran. Analisis data dilakukan dengan mengkonversi total skor data kuantitatif yang diperoleh menjadi data kualitatif skala lima. Hasil validasi ahli menunjukkan bahwa RPP dan LKS sangat valid. Hasil Penilaian guru menunjukkan bahwa produk mencapai kriteria sangat praktis dan hasil penilaian siswa menunjukkan bahwa RPP dan LKS sangat praktis. Hasil pengisian angket keterbacaan siswa menunjukkan LKS sangat jelas dan keterlaksanaan pembelajaran 96%. Hasil penilaian hasil belajar aspek sikap, pengetahuan, dan keterampilan menunjukkan persentase ketuntasan melebihi 75%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa RPP dan LKS memenuhi kriteria efektif. Secara keseluruhan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa RPP dan LKS  statistika SMP dengan pendekatan saintifik memenuhi kriteria: valid, praktis, dan efektif.Kata Kunci: pengembangan, perangkat pembelajaran, statistika, pendekatan saintifik Developing statistics teaching kits for junior high school using the scientific approachAbstract This study aimed to produce statistics teaching kits for junior high school using the scientific approach, consisting of lesson plans and students’s worksheets which are valid, practical, and effective. The research instruments were validation sheets, observation sheets for the learning implementation, assessment sheets for the practicality according to the students, readability sheets, assessment sheets for the practicality according to the teachers, and the instruments for the effectiveness of the learning kits. The data were analyzed by converting the total scores of the collected quantitative data into the qualitative data using Likert’s scale. The results of the validation by the experts show that the product was very valid. The results of assessment by the teachers show that lesson plans and students’s worksheets were very practical and the results of assessment by the students show that students’s worksheets was very practical. The results of the readability questionnaire for the students show that the product was very clear. The results of learning implementation show that 96% accomplished. The percentage of students’ mastery learning on affective, cognitive, and psychomotor aspects were more than 75%. This shows that the teaching kits were effective. On the whole, the results of the study show that the teaching kits were valid, practical, and effective.Keywords: development, teaching kits, statistics, scientific approach

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan keefektifan pembelajaran matematika dengan model search, solve, create, and share (SSCS) dan apakah pembelajaran matematika dengan model SSCS lebih baik dibandingkan dengan model konvensional ditinjau dari prestasi, penalaran matematis, dan motivasi belajar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu dengan desain kontrol grup non-ekuivalen. Populasi dalam penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Muhammadiyah Banguntapan yang terdiri dari lima kelas. Sampel penelitian diambil dua kelas secara acak, yaitu kelas VIII-D dan VIII-E. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji T2 Hotteling’s, uji MANCOVA, dan uji lanjut dengan prosedur t-test. Setiap analisis dilakukan pada taraf signifikansi 5%. Hasil penelitian ini adalah pembelajaran matematika dengan model SSCS efektif ditinjau dari prestasi dan motivasi belajar, tetapi tidak efektif ditinjau dari penalaran matematis siswa dan pembelajaran matematika dengan model SSCS lebih baik dibandingkan dengan pembelajaran konvesional ditinjau dari prestasi dan penalaran matematis, tetapi tidak lebih baik ditinjau dari motivasi belajar siswa kelas VIII SMP Muhammadiyah Banguntapan.Kata Kunci: model SSCS, model konvensional, prestasi belajar, penalaran matematis, motivasi belajar siswa The Effectiveness of the Model of Search, Solve, Create, and Share Terms of Achievement, Mathematical Reasoning, and Motivation to Learn AbstractThe purpose of this study is to describe the effectiveness of teaching with the teaching model search, solve, create, and share (SSCS) and to describe whether teaching by teaching model SSCS better than by model conventional regarding students’ achievement, mathematical reasoning, and mathematics learning motivation. This research was quasi-experimental with the non-equivalent control group design. The population was all students of class VIII SMP Muhammadiyah Banguntapan consisting of five classes. The sample taken at random consisted of two classes: classes VIII-D dan VIII-E. Class VIII-D was taught by using the model conventional, while class VIII-E was taught by using the SSCS teaching model. The data were analyzed by using a multivariate test Hotelling's T2, MANCOVA test, and tested further by using t-test procedures. Each analysis regarding at the significance level of 5%. The results showed that: the first, the teaching of mathematics by using the SSCS model is effective regarding students’ achievement and students’ mathematics learning motivation, but it is not effective in terms of mathematical reasoning Banguntapan Muhammadiyah junior high school students of class VIII. The second, the SSCS teaching model is better than the conventional teaching model regarding students’ achievement and mathematical reasoning abilities, but not better terms of students’ mathematics learning the mathematics of class VIII SMP Muhammadiyah Banguntapan.Keywords: teaching model of SSCS, teaching model of conventional, academic achievement, mathematical reasoning ability, mathematics learning motivation
