Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan sebuah senam lansia untuk kebugaran jasmani dan fungsi otak. Metode penelitian ini mengacu pada penelitian Borg & Gall dengan tahapan: studi pendahuluan, analisis desain draf awal, validasi ahli, uji coba produk, evaluasi, dan revisi. Subjek uji coba skala kecil 15 orang, subjek uji coba penelitian skala besar 57 orang, dan subjek uji efektifitas produk 12 orang. Penilaian para ahli dan instruktur menggunakan kuisioner. Pengukuran kebugaran jasmani lansia menggunakan tes uji jalan 6 menit, sedangkan untuk mengukur fungsi kognitif lansia menggunakan tes The Montreal Cognitif Assesment  Indonesia (MoCA–Ina). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, model senam lansia valid, serta layak dan efektif untuk kebugaran jasmani dan fungsi otak. Hasil validasi ahli kesehatan lansia dan akademisi sekaligus praktisi kesehatan termasuk "sangat baik" dengan rata-rata 81,87%. Kualitas produk hasil uji coba skala kecil "sangat baik" dengan rata-rata 86,25. Uji coba skala besar juga termasuk "sangat baik" dengan rata-rata 98,12%. Hasil uji efektifitas produk menunjukkan peningkatan kebugaran jasmani lansia 0,32 poin (hasil pretest 4,4092 dan hasil postest 4,7292). Hasil uji efektifitas menunjukkan peningkatan fungsi kognitif lansia dengan 1,72 poin, (hasil pretest 25,58 dan hasil posttest 27,33). A gymnastic older model for pphysical fitness and brain function AbstractThis study aimed to develop an elderly gymnastics model for physical fitness and brain function. This research was research and development  which refered to Borg & Gall's research steps through preliminary study, initial draft design analysis, expert validation, product trial, evaluation, and revision. The subjects of the small-scale trial were 15 people, the subjects of the large-scale trials were 57 people, and the subjects of the product effectiveness test were 12 people. The assessment of experts and instructors used a questionnaire sheet. The measurement of elderly physical fitness used a 6-minute walk test, while measuring their cognitive function used the Montreal Cognitive Assessment Indonesia (MoCA-Ina) test. The results showed that  the developed elderly gymnastics model for physical fitness and brain function was valid. The result of expert validation showed the model was "very good" with an average  score of 81.87%. The quality of the product according to the small-scale test was "excellent" with an average score of 86.25%. Furthermore, based on the large-scale trials the product was "excellent" with an average score of 98.12%. The results of the effectiveness test showed an increase in physical fitness of the elderly by  0.32 points (the pretest score of 4.4092 to the result of postest score of 4.7292). The result of the effectiveness test showed improvement of cognitive function of elderly by 1,72 point (the pretest score of 25.58 to the result of posttest score of 27.33).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan model latihan alternatif yang layak untuk pembakaran lemak dan sebagai latihan non-traumatic untuk orang dengan overweight. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan (research and development) yang mengacu pada langkah yang dikembangkan Borg & Gall melalui tahapan: pengembangan draf awal, model awal, model, uji coba produk, evaluasi dan revisi. Subjek uji coba terbatas sebanyak 3 orang dan subjek uji coba lapangan sebanyak 6 orang dengan kriteria mengalami masalah kelebihan berat badan (overweight). Pengumpulan data melalui uji pelaksanaan, penilaian ahli dengan lembar kuisioner, tes pengukuran denyut nadi dan pengukuran penurunan persentase lemak. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model aquarobic exercise untuk pembakaran lemak ditinjau dari bentuk, isi dan tujuan latihan oleh ahli kebugaran jasmani, ahli fisiologi dan ahli renang dikategorikan "Baik". Hasil data pre dan post test menujukkan peningkatan nilai rata-rata denyut nadi dan penurunan persentase lemak. Disimpulkan bahwa model aquarobic exercise layak dan efektif untuk pembakaran lemak pada overweight. Developing aquarobic exercise model for fat burn in overweight AbstractThis research aim to development a alternative model for fat burn This model can and as non-traumatic exercise to people with overweight. This research is the development (research and development) which refer from  Borg & Gall prosedur was done through stage developing preliminary model, developing model, trials of product, evaluation and revision. Limited scale trials was conducted on 3 women and large scale trials was conducted on 6 womens. The instrumen used to collect data were implementation test, assessment from expert with quisioner sheet, heart rate and estimate fat percentage. Analysis techniques in this research used descriptive statistic. The results of the research show that aquarobic exercise model review from the form, content and purpose the exercise from expert assessment by physical fitnees expert, fisiologi expert and swiming expert are "good". The result of pre and post test show there is an increase mean score heart rate and decrease fat percentage. So, it can be conclude that the aquarobic exercise modelis suitable and effetive for fat burner in overweight.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui keterkaitan dan implementasi pendidikan jasmani dalam International Primary Curriculum (IPC) sebagai salah satu kurikulum internasional. IPC adalah kurikulum yang komprehensif, tematik, dinamis dan berwawasan global. Pelaksanaan kurikulum terstruktur dan terencana memungkinkan siswa untuk beradaptasi dengan tantangan global di masa mendatang. Metode penelitian adalah metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil penelitian, pelaksanaan pendidikan jasmani di IPC telah ditentukan oleh sekolah melalui data dengan pemutakhiran terbaru. Tema yang dipilih kemudian disesuaikan dengan tujuan sekolah, budaya lokal, kebutuhan siswa. Kesimpulannya adalah IPC sangat dinamis sehingga dapat diselaraskan untuk mencapai tujuan sekolah yang ingin dicapai dengan menyesuaikan budaya budaya lokal, kondisi siswa dan sekolah. AbstractThe purpose of this research is determine relationship and implementation of physical education in International Primary Curriculum (IPC) as an international curriculum. IPC is comprehensive, thematic, dynamic and global-minded curriculum. The implementation of a structured and planned curriculum allows students to adapt to global challenges in the future. The research method is descriptive qualitative research. As a result, implementation of physical education in IPC has been determined by school through the latest update data. The choosen theme is then adjusted to school goals, local culture, student needs. The conclusion is that IPC is very dynamic so that it can be harmonized to achieve the school goals by adjusting the culture of the local culture, conditions of students and schools.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh latihan squat menggunakan free weight dan gym machine terhadap kekuatan, power, dan hypertrophy otot; dan menguji perbedaan pengaruh latihan squat menggunakan free weight dan gym machine terhadap kekuatan, power, dan hypertrophy otot. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen dengan desain two group pretest-posttest design. Sampel dalam penelitian ini dipilih berdasarkan teknik random sampling berjumlah 32 orang. Instrumen untuk mengukur kekuatan menggunakan back and leg dynamometer merk Takei buatan Jepang. Instrumen untuk mengukur power menggunakan Jump Duration of Fright (JDF) seri TKK 5114 buatan Jepang, satuan sentimeter. Instrumen untuk mengukur lingkar otot paha menggunakan meteran dengan satuan sentimeter. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis multivariat pada taraf signifikansi α = 0,05. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) ada pengaruh yang signifikan latihan squat menggunakan free weight terhadap kekuatan, power, dan hypertrophy otot, (2) ada pengaruh yang signifikan latihan squat menggunakan gym machine terhadap kekuatan, power, dan hypertrophy otot, dan (3) ada perbedaan yang signifikan antara latihan squat menggunakan free weight dan latihan squat menggunakan gym machine terhadap kekuatan, power, dan hypertrophy otot. Persentase kenaikan nilai pretest dan posttest kekuatan, power, dan hypertrophy otot menunjukkan kelompok latihan squat menggunakan free weight lebih baik daripada kelompk gym machine. The influence of squat practice using free weight and gym machine on the strength, the muscle and the hypertrophy of the muscle AbstractThe study aims at testing the influence of squat training using free weight and gym machine on the strength, the power and the hypertrophy of the muscle and at testing the differences between the influence of squat training using free weight and the influence of squat training using gym machine on the strength, the power and the hypertrophy of the muscle. The study is an experiment with two group pre-test-post-test design. Then, the samples for the study were selected based on the random sampling technique and the total number of the respondents was 32 people. The instrument for measuring the strength of the muscle was back and leg dynamometer Takei made in Japan while the instrument for measuring the power of the muscle was Jump Duration of Fright (JDF) series TKK 5114 made in Japan with centimetre unit. Furthermore, the instrument for measuring the circle of the tight muscle was a gauge with centimetre unit. The results of the study show that: (1) the squat training using the free weight has significant influence on the strength, the power and the hypertrophy of the muscle; (2) the squat training using the gym machine has significant influence on the strength, the power and the hypertrophy of the muscle; and (3) there has been significant difference between the squat training using the free weight and the squat training using the gym machine on the strength, the power and the hypertrophy of the muscle. The increasing percentage from the pre-test score into the post-test score in the strength, the power and the hypertrophy of the muscle shows that the training group that performs the squat training using the free weight has better performance than the group that performs the squat training using the gym machine.

Abstract

Pemberian cairan sangat penting bagi atlet untuk menghindari dehidrasi yang dapat menyebabkan gangguan fisiologis tubuh. Produk minuman kesehatan diyakini mampu meningkatkan energi dan menjaga produktivitas pada saat dan setelah melakukan aktivitas fisik seperti bekerja dan olahraga, terutama bagi para olahragawan. Perilaku membeli produk minuman kesehatan dilakukan berdasarkan preferensi dan kebutuhan konsumen, salah satunya mempertimbangkan atribut produk. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi mahasiswa Fakultas Ilmu Keolahragaan Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (FIK UNY) terhadap atribut produk minuman kesehatan (harga, kemasan, merek, label, dan rasa). Penelitian menggunakan desain observasional cross sectional dengan subjek penelitian 100 orang mahasiswa FIK UNY yang diambil secara purposif. Analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar subjek memiliki persepsi positif terhadap atribut produk minuman kesehatan. Kemasan yang mudah dibawa dan dipegang serta informasi nilai gizi merupakan indikator yang dianggap paling penting oleh subjek. Perception on healthy drink product attributes among sports sciences college students in Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta AbstractIntake of fluids is very important for athletes to avoid dehydration which can cause physiological disorders of the body. Health drink products are supposed to increase energy and maintain productivity during and after physical activities such as work and exercise, especially for athletes. The behavior of buying health drink products is based on consumer preferences and needs, one of them considering product attributes. This study aimed to determine perception of students of the Faculty of Sport Sciences Yogyakarta State University (FIK UNY) on the attributes of health drink products (price, packaging, brand, label, and taste). The research used observational cross-sectional design. Subjects were 100 students of FIK UNY selected through purposive sampling. Data analysis employed descriptive statistics. The results showed that most respondents had positive perceptions on health drink product attributes. Packaging that was easy to carry and hold as well as information of nutritional value was an indicator that was considered most important by the subjects.
